Massive news on Chelsea & Abramovich, I can’t say I’m too disappointed tbh Wink
Play with suspicious oil tycoon money get burnt. They’ll probably end up becoming a midtable club again over the next few years, like they were before Abramovich Wink

I was at the LFC vs Inter game last night, very frustrating game. We hit the woodwork three times, it just wouldn’t go in. Thought we didn’t really have to get out of 3rd gear, it was a great goal by Inter but apart from the goal they created very little. We won’t get away with playing like that against a better team. Oh well, if you’re going to lose a game let it be 1-0 when you won the 1st leg 2-0. Moving on, let’s see who we get in the 1/4 final.
2303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake.com announces Israel Adesanya as their Global branded ambassador on: March 09, 2022, 02:51:15 PM
Even with this rematch being months away it is gaining excitement for it with a video like this one for UFC 271:
UFC 271: Isreal Adesanya vs Robert Whittaker 2 - The Final Rematch | Extended Promo
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PRT2SQAzYmM

Both guys are highly motivated going in their rematch but I predicted a win for the last stylebender Adesanya, he is a more polished fighter and he is getting better in that division, I like to see him getting his revenge against the guy who knocks him out, and wants to see him a champion when he meets Alex Pereira, it will be more exciting between the two and the whole UFC community if they meet in a championship match.
Alex Pereira is fighting again for this week's event at Vegas 50.
Here is the breakdown of each fighter:

He is inching closer to his showdown with Adesanya and if he win this one he will probably have a title shot by the end of the summer.

I dunno man, you think the #31 ranked Middlewight with a 4-1 record is going to fight for the UFC Middleweight championship in 6 months?

He's going to go ahead of the likes of:

  Robert Whittaker
  Jared Cannonier
  Marvin Vettori

Doesn't sound realistic at all.   In fact, I'm so confident it doesn't happen that I'll give you (rdbase) 10-1 odds it won't

Google says Dana White has confirmed that Jared Cannonier will be next in line for Israel Adesanya after his title defence at UFC 271.

Cannonier has always been a tough bastard tbh, he will not be an easy fight for the champ. I’m pretty sure I read that he has an 80% stoppage rate so it’s going to be a real test for the champ.

@therationalroot
The HODL Model: #Bitcoin 's illiquid supply is outpacing supply issuance.
As illiquid supply rises, so do the market impacts of bitcoin's digital scarcity.

Short 🧵👇

https://twitter.com/therationalroot/status/1500875223201042439?s=21

@therationalroot
The "HODL model hypothesis" is that bitcoin has crossed a historic inflection point where the asset's illiquid supply is outpacing the rate of new supply issuance. Future halvings with lower supply issuance will only exacerbate this divergence.

https://twitter.com/therationalroot/status/1500875232986353666?s=21

@therationalroot
Illiquid supply as a percentage of circulating supply will grow in a parabolic fashion as #Bitcoin 's digital scarcity drives investor behavior towards store of value as the dominant use case. As a result, illiquid supply will approach 80% of circulating supply by 2036.

https://twitter.com/therationalroot/status/1500875238220828672?s=21

@therationalroot
Liquid and highly-liquid supply will tighten as illiquid supply grows, leaving less bitcoin available on the market to acquire or trade.
New waves of demand that enter the market to acquire this declining available supply will then lead to exponential price increases.

https://twitter.com/therationalroot/status/1500875240494166017?s=21

@therationalroot
The HODL model predicts a conservative estimate of #Bitcoin 's available supply following the growth curve we saw above. Since illiquid supply share nears a low at the inflection point, a logical consequence would be for bitcoin's price to follow an inverse S-curve.
https://twitter.com/therationalroot/status/1500875242369011715?s=21

@therationalroot
The 'HODL Price Model' leverages the HODL Model's inflection & end point to create an an asymmetric s-curve following the projections of illiquid supply.

https://twitter.com/therationalroot/status/1500875247024701441?s=21

@therationalroot
Unlike a log-curve with a continuous decreasing slope, the HODL price model has an increasing slope from the inflection point onwards.
https://twitter.com/therationalroot/status/1500875249662849025?s=21

@therationalroot
With tighter liquid and highly-liquid supply, we see high increases in price at the beginning of bitcoin’s lifetime and then moderate price increases near the third halving’s inflection point. As available supply tightens again, we should expect higher price increases to follow.
https://twitter.com/therationalroot/status/1500875251399331845?s=21

Interesting analysis, bit of bullishness & HOPIUM for us. We’re going to need to be very patient, the price will explode some time after the next halvening. North of $300,000 in 2025 at some point imo. Prepare yourselves for a bear market until 2024 though, buy with all you have near & under $30,000. Bottom will be within 12 months, something like $25,000.

I have tickets for the 2nd leg @ Anfield for tomorrow, LFC vs Inter. Will be good to get back to Anfield on a European night, always the best atmospheres. I expect us to safely navigate in to the 1/4 finals. This is when the competition starts to get serious.

War is raging on, bitcoin is stagnating & entering a bear market. I just set up my new Ledger though so not all bad.

2310  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a means to restore people's authority over money on: March 06, 2022, 02:00:08 PM
Bitcoin is the future of finance, it’s as simple as that. Simply by being a deflationary asset with a fixed supply it is better than any fiat currency or monetary asset. Fiat banks run by governments & central banks are inflationary pieces of shit. You are being lied to & stolen from EVERY YEAR through the stealth tax that is inflation.
Leave your wealth in fiat savings accounts at your own peril, anybody with half a brain can see what this leads to.

Bitcoin continues to grow in adoption as time goes on. We have come a long way since the first block was mined. Governments will have no choice but to take the orange pill & adopt bitcoin.
Be on the right side of history & buy as much bitcoin as you can.

Tick, Tock, Next Block.

^Just the game I was hoping for really. Been a flurry of high-scoring games (cept dear old Reds heh) and after a series of busts and some pushes sprinkled in here and there, I think we're all ready for some big points. I won't even mind a high bust if Citeh stumble and flail. Let's hope the Manchester derby doesn't let us down!
Cool

A Man Utd win & hitting Blackjack would round the weekend off perfectly for multiple reasons Wink
Here’s hoping hey

Huge game today with the Manchester Derby. It’s not very often I want Man Utd to win a game of football but needs must. I am definitely rooting for them today, it’s unlikely they are good enough to get anything at The Etihad but I always hold hope, even in the most unlikely scenarios Wink

Hey, BTC fans!

We're doing it again Wink
Predict the Bitcoin price & win a share of 500 mBTC![/center]

PS! Check also a giveaway here in the forum. Easy chance to win a share of 9 mBTC Wink
Awesome. Am a fan of these promotions which is why I am happy to see them returning especially when BTC price has been soaring recently. A grand prize of around 200 mBtc is very tempting in my opinion.

Also, the forum giveaway of around 9 mBtc is generous considering the fact that we don't have to invest anything upfront.

Yep, such generous competitions, promotions & giveaways. bitcasino.io really are the best in the crypto gamboing industry, there is nobody better.

As always Karl, thank you for everything.

Everton vs Boreham Wood tonight in the FA Cup. Boreham Wood are the lowest ranked team left in the competition, I might have a small bet on them to win. Everton are in terrible form at the moment & tye odds are attractive.

$44,000 has fallen.

Seems like there’s a real battle here, can we sustain prices above $44,000?
