2301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins to Invest? on: August 10, 2018, 11:59:11 PM
Which will be the best altcoin to invest this year? It was ripple last year where investors got the jackpot with a short term investment and I think stellar will be the altcoin to look after this year and what are your opinions?
It is hard to make decisions at this moment because the market is currently and continuously falling. There's no assurance on which one will be able to recover eventually. So I think, it would be a better idea to invest on big cryptos in the market to have a higher chance of recovery and at the same time, earning profit.
2302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How much is your altcoin down since January? on: August 10, 2018, 10:51:15 PM
The price of the tokens have been downed by approximately 55 percent from the beginning of this year whereas also the beginning of the continuous market dump. Selling at this point would completely result to loss of profit therefore, holding is a must and is more advisable in order to avoid regret once the market starts to rise.
2303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Does participating from an airdrop got you big rewards? on: August 10, 2018, 10:08:22 PM
My friend introduce me about the airdrop campaign, it is good, but you can only have a small amount of alt coin for every airdrop, and the price equivalence of it in the market is just minimal. And in terms in participating on it, some airdrop is a time consuming. May I ask does participating on it gain big earnings?
People are  saying that it is before, profitable. But this year, things went different. Bounty programs are still more advisable because of the higher chance to earn profit. Some airdrops are not paying and the tokens alloted for it, is small unlike in bounty programs that are having different campaigns within to generate bigger profit.
2304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Rewards: Sell immediately or HODL? on: June 12, 2018, 03:36:15 PM
I've been doing bounty campaigns only since December 2017.  Not long, in the scheme of things.  But one thing that truly surprised me during the last couple of months is the number of bounty hunters who look to sell their tokens ASAP.  At first, I didn't understand why, but I think I'm beginning to.

For me, I'm doing these bounty campaigns for a bit of fun and to give my mind a bit work to do, creatively speaking.  So my mindset for any bounty tokens is just to HODL and allow the devs to implement their roadmap and take the project through to completion.  I think this will give the best realisation of value on the tokens.  Sure, some may fail and they will likely end up worthless, but since I only invested time, not money, into receiving them, I'm not really worried.

So with that mindset, I struggled to understand why so many people were eager to offload their bounties at the earliest opportunity.

But over the weekend, I sat down and did some calculations on the accumulated bounty rewards I'm expecting to receive.  Each bounty by itself was a modest return, but when combined in totality, it was a sizeable amount.  And that's when it struck me...

Lots of people who live in less fortunate parts of the world, particularly in areas with high unemployment, probably NEED to sell their bounty rewards to put food on the table and pay their bills.

But I really don't know if my assumptions are correct.  So, my question to you is...

Do you sell your Bounty Rewards straight away or HODL?  Any insight into your reasons would be appreciated.

## If this post has been thought provoking for you, I'd really appreciate a bit of Merit in return ##
If you prefer selling upon recieving and being listed on an exchanger of your bounty tokens, that okay but you will miss the chance of earning huge profit if ever that token's market value starts to increase. Still. it's a risk and there's no hundred percent assurance that it will always happen. There are tendencies that the msrket value will suddenly fall which is what worries the bounty hunters.
2305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: in 2020 wich one will be higher bitcoin or ethereum ? on: June 12, 2018, 02:47:10 PM
in your opinion which one has the chances to go high by 2020 .........

1. ethereum

2. bitcoin

Based on the current events that Etherium is proportional with Bitcoin, I think Bitcoin will still remain on top. As we can see at this point, whenever the msrket value of Bitcoin is increasing, same thing happens with the market price of etherium. So maybe, if ever the market value of etherium will be more expensive on that year than now, same thing could possibly hapoen with Bitcoin's which is till on top of etherium.
2306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in BTC, Altcoin, or ICO on: June 12, 2018, 02:31:07 PM
There are so many New ICO's these day ? Is that safe to invest in ICO ? any 1 invested in 2018 ? 2017 was the year of ICO's but is that still safe to invest ? or how to know which ICO is good to invest ? like GIG9, Eligma, Medicalchain, Trustedthealth
It does depend on your preference as an investor. If you are into trading, you should better invest to altcoins. And if you are into long term holding, Bitcoin investment would be the best choice. But if you are focused in the market, ICO investment would also be a good one but the risk is that most of the ICO tokens' price are falling due to the market volatility which sometimes result to loss.
2307  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1 BTC = $7,992.71 should i buy and wait or on: June 12, 2018, 02:15:18 PM
1 BTC = $7,992.71 is it now the right time for a person to buy bitcoins and keep to earn more profits OR i still have to hold?
Buying at this point would be a good idea as well as choosing to wait for the market value to fall even more. The bottomline is the orofit that the investors will soon earn once the market value of Bitcoin starts to increase. For now hold and wait. Also, avoid selling in order to avoid losing profit and regret. It is a normal phenomenon so patience is the only solution.
2308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves Sell Or Hodl? on: June 12, 2018, 01:46:51 PM
I have 100 Waves. Its price now falling down and down. I'm in Confusions Sell it or Hodl it now!
I think it would be a better idea if you will just hold it. Given the fact that the market value is falling, you will surely lose profit if you will choose to sell it at thid moment. Just hold it and invest to ither cryptos for you to give focus on and let your waves to be stored for a long time until its market value starts to increase. But if you are not into waiting for that much, selling will still be a good choice and investing to new crypto.
2309  Economy / Speculation / Re: When Will Bitcoin Be Back To $20,000 ? on: June 12, 2018, 01:28:17 PM
When do you think Bitcoin will go back to the $20,000 mark and what factors do you think could contribute to making it happen sooner rather than later?
I am expecting that the msrkrt value of Bitcoin will again be close to 20000 usd at the end of this year. Right now, the market value of it is struggling below 9000usd so it is hard to make assumptions that after a couple of weeks or maybe next month, the price will jump in a sudden. As such, investing and holding at thid point is really advisable so that profit will be earned once the increase has started.
2310  Economy / Economics / Re: I almost lost my rock solid regular job because of crypto on: June 12, 2018, 12:35:16 PM
Like the title says, i almost lost my regular job as a software developer today when my boss reviewed my work. The job has been able to economically provide a comfortable life for me and losing it would really be a big hit to my income. I almost lost it because i spent so much time learning about everything crypto (mining, trading, bounties, etc.).

Has anyone else experienced this? I just feel pretty lucky I was given another chance and want to remind other people that having a regular job is much better than relying on the volatility of cryptocurrencies. Make sure you prioritize your work!

It is indeed tempting. The profit from cryptocurrency especially un trading, but also, time consuming. We can't blame those people who left their job just to focus with cryptos. The only problem is the lack of consistency of income which is a must for a daily living. It is obviously much better if they would do both with the use of proper time management in order to earn bigger profit.
2311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in an ICO? on: June 11, 2018, 04:42:58 PM
Good day fellow investors,

I have some spare eth and btcs and I am searching for an alternative way to invest, is ICO really worth it? and if it is, I heard there are scams, what can you recommend I should do?

Regards.
ICO investment is indeed profitable. The risk involved larticularly with scams is unpreditable and that's why an investor should be careful on choosing projects. Much better if there'll be consultants from other people before joining or investing into a project. In that way, the risk will be lessen. If you are confident that the project itself and the team are trustworthy, do not hesitate to ibvest.
2312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to join Bounty Campaigns managed by the ICO team themselves? on: June 11, 2018, 04:09:17 PM
Is it safe to join Bounty Campaigns managed by the ICO team themselves? Even though they are only Newbie/Jr. Member. (But Copper Member)
I think it is safe but also,  there's a higher chance for scam to happen than in bounties where managers are from this forum. I am not saying that all bounties that are managed by the dev team, will be already a scam.  The risk is also present even if the manager is from the forum because at the end of the campaign, it is still the ICO team which will pay the participants and the manager .
2313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you panic? on: June 10, 2018, 04:03:39 PM
As I have noticed these days, when the ICO hasnt finished yet and the sale was still on going, the bounty tokens has already been distributed and also unlocked they sell it immediately on forkdelta or etherdelta for a much lower that ICO price, in which it could greatly disturb the sales in tokens. As for you the investor on that token, would you panic when you see that the tokens you own already selling at much lower price?
In my case, i don't really panic on situations as such. But we can't blame who does especially those who are new with the system of bounties and ICOs. It would result into loss of profit so it is not surprising to know that there are people who are worried on those uncertainties. But the key is to just be oatient and wait. The marjet is volatile so recovery will soon take place.
2314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Leaving Your Job is The Worst Idea on: June 10, 2018, 01:33:17 PM
I ever heard that people choose to quit their job for doing some crypto job. Whether it is trading, mining, or bounty. But I think that's the worst idea. Maybe they think that kind job like that can earn many profit but they doesn't looking at the risk and keep do it. Look at the market, they stay red and it will hard to get profit from investing or trading. GPU price is more expensive as well as a lot of capital to be spent when starting mining. Also Bounty Hunter has bad condition right now with too many SCAM ICO which caused some of them just wasted their time and doesn't earn anything.

How they can earn money for daily need if only depends on the crypto?
Indeed, not a good idea. Given that there are risks on cryptoinvestment particularly with the market volatility which sometimes do result into loss of profit, it would be a bad decision to replace it on your daily source of income or job. The problem is that, there's no consistency when it comes on profit from cryptos unlike in job's salary that even if it is not that big, atleast, it is consistent which is a must for a daily living.
2315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tactics When Market is Falling on: June 05, 2018, 11:40:37 PM
Hi all,
I am a relative newbie but have remained pretty calm during the difficult last week or so. The markets are falling significantly again, is this still relatively normal and is the best advice just to HODL? Moving forward I think I will set stop losses on all holdings to protect my capital against falls like this.
Thanks
Always keep in mind that backdrops in the market is an innevitable thing in cryptos. It is due to the demand in the market which is being refelected into the market value of cryptos. If you are worried about the profit loss, forget about it. The profit loss is clearly and obviously partial because it is just the value which is falling not the amount of holding. patience in holding would be the best solution until it again, starts to increase.
2316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is more effective Bounty or Airdrops ? on: June 05, 2018, 11:16:32 PM
Hello guys,
I just want to know which do you prefer most Airdrops or Bounty. In bounties you have to complete given tasks with some formalities otherwise no reward will be given. But in Airdrops there are less rules and tasks to follow. So why should I play Bounty ?
Thank You. Smiley
In my opinion, bounties are more profitable compared to air drops. The rewards or pay out in airdrops are just limited and given the fact that many people are reporting that most airdrops are scams, surely it will not be worth investing your time. While on the other hand, bounties are mostly profitable because percentage on different campaigns are huge enough for the participants.
2317  Economy / Economics / Re: How to manage the risk in investing cryptocurrency? on: June 05, 2018, 10:21:30 PM
The risk in the virtual currency market is the risk of losing some or all of its capital when the investor performs the investment or virtual currency transaction. Identify the risks before conducting a transaction, helping them to know the specific loss rate in each case of investment will be how to, minimum and maximum how to decide the scale of investment, the first time investment, time of investment completion, and other relevant factors.

As such an investor would be able to maanage the risk on his investments if he invested an amount that he can afford to lose. Risk is already present so an investor should be wise on putting an amount of money into it . If he will invest a limited amount, it will not be that bad whenever the market value is falling. The logic is that, the bigger your investment the larger the profit. The plan B is to make yourself devoted on holding.
2318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I continue to invest? on: June 05, 2018, 03:09:25 PM
I had invested one ICO previously, it failed although I didn't contribute a huge amount on it. A news yesterday made analysis on blockchain ICO projects, mentioning 92% of these ICO projects are failed.. Should I stop investing the others or any really potential ICO suggest?
That is quite unfortunate but even if there's a huge number of failing projects, I think ICOs are still profitable. As an investor you just need to choose a project that is popular, high rated and is potent to be successful on its latter years in the market. It won't give you a hundred percent assurance but it will be a huge guide for you to make good assumption on an ICO.
2319  Economy / Economics / Re: when you sell out of panic, you are contributing to the dump! on: June 05, 2018, 01:05:59 PM
Indeed, it will just make the situation worse. The bleeding in the market value of Bitcoin will continue if the users will choose to sell out of panic since the market value is falling. We should all keep in mind that during the downfall in the market, the loss is partial. Same amount of holding is there, and it is just the value that is falling. So the obvious solution is to patiently wait until it starts to recover.
2320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pre sale or ICO? on: June 04, 2018, 11:14:05 PM
When is better to buy crypto, on pre sale or on ICO? When you buy on presale, you can get good bonuses, however when you buy on ICO you have a better gurantee not to be scammed.
I do prefer buying after the ICO because usually, upon a token is listed on an exchanger, its market value is suddenly falling. An invwstor will be able to invest for less and will have a higher chance to earn profit from making an investment since the market price of ICO tokens are expected to grow after a couple of weeks of being lissted on the exchanger.
