2301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop Treating Bitcoin as if IT was a Product! Stop saying." I am selling it" on: December 07, 2017, 08:56:20 AM
To you people who keep saying you are going to sell your bitcoins, it is not a product, stop treating it like one.  Say you are exchanging it.  Ita a curreny ok?

many of you are greedy ass hats and are no different from the government, we should be making bitcoin a new payment method instead we are treating it as a product of greed.    It is like saying you are my best friend till you make me rich, oh NVM I want to go back to my ex friend who treated me like Sh$#$#.

EDIT:

OK many of you seem not to get the point, yes  Sell and exchange is the same thing but what I am trying to say lets not go back to the fiat currency that the govs control, yes sell, exchange some but lets try to use it for transacting with one another, lets use it to create more Bitcoin related projects, lets unify our own system where we can do what we want to do.  Bitcoin is suppose to be a free liberating concept not to be used for our personal greed.  Now we need a Bitcoin state where we all can move too!!!  JK

Chill, OP. You sound a lot like the people you're trying to describe here, and seem to have lost the point about what Bitcoin is... and what else it can be, depending on who uses it. Bitcoin isn't about "we should make Bitcoin this" or "Bitcoin shouldn't be that"... if you wanted a crypto which wanted those aims, you're welcome to go to one of the alts where centralised decision making is common.

By the way, you're contradiction yourself.

1. "Sell and exchange is the same thing"
2. Let's not go back to fiat... but you want a Bitcoin state?

Did you not see where I said JK?  Just kidding.  I know that Is what I stated and made agreements that people were trying to say it is the same thing, in all honesty.  It is called admitting to a mistake.  I am F$#$# human after all.
2302  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop Treating Bitcoin as if IT was a Product! Stop saying." I am selling it" on: December 07, 2017, 08:35:17 AM
You did not get the point I was trying to make, but I understand yes I did post a thread to vent out my emotions, but at least I can say my thread was created to point out a real issue, not a thread asking "bitcoin is going to rise?"   I want bitcoin to be used as a true store of value to get away from fiat currency.  The I want to sell, is outweighing the I want to use it too store value.  do you understand?

You have right to your own opinion as well so, keep debating, cause I stand up for democracy and freedom of speech, do not stay quiet.
Again, I get your point, but then again i will stand on what i said that I don't think that this thread is necessarily needed, This issue has been there for a long time since Bitcoin's price is increasing every time, people see Bitcoin as an investment, a store of value just like what you said, they see it as a product and not as a currency but what you can do about it? Create a thread pointing out this issue that has been there for a long time? and then? after this thread will the countries who banned bitcoin will unban it? I guess so. Well, Probably no. If you really want to change this things i guess it should start in yourself to use Bitcoin as a currency-- But how can you use it as a currency? Is there any merchants available in your country? If yes you are lucky enough but here in our country, you can use Bitcoin as a payment on bills using coins.ph and for me that's not enough to use Bitcoin widely as a currency, we are lacking of merchants but i guess that's another story. We just both have different perspective on this issue, I guess this thread will be needed in the future where Bitcoin is now widely accepted and there will be a lot of merchants who will accept it. I hope we both expressed our opinion and take on this issue. I will not reply anymore, This is my last reply.

I already use it as a currency, I pay my hosting with bitcoin, the issue is that fees have to lower.  Steam got rid of it because soley more on the fees then volatility, which is what they claimed; the I want get rich investors are the ones who did that because the buying is fueled by the greed.  They are not using it for transacting.  Yes they have the right to what they want, but this is what humans been doing for years even to our own planet, killed off trees for their greed.
2303  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop Treating Bitcoin as if IT was a Product! Stop saying." I am selling it" on: December 07, 2017, 08:04:01 AM

People are calling bitcoin a bubble, because bitcoin IS a bubble and there`s nothing wrong with that.
Exchanging IS buying and selling. It`s doesn`t matter wether or not you are going to call it selling or exchanging.Bitcoin is a currency like fiat money, every currency is just a tool that you use to:
1.Sell your labor and skills(and get a salary).
2.Buy products and services.
3.Use it as a store of value.
Bitcoin is just a tool,i can`t treat it like my "best friend" or my ex friend.

Ok Yes in all honesty it is the same exchange and sell but the point I was trying to say was do not bite the hand that feeds you or will feed you,  Lets unite and get the issues resolved with BTC and use it a store of value which we can use to transact with.  I really do not want to put my store of value back into fiat.

What's wrong with you? I don't really understand why you should create a thread for this? This is just spam inducing thread. Bitcoin is a digital currency and saying I am Selling it is not wrong, you are selling with exchange of another currency or fiat. Currency includes buying and selling also same with Bitcoin, Bitcoin is not a product i agree with you but why you should create a thread for this? This is not necessarily needed and just adds up to the spam threads.

This is what makes us human, we won't learn anything from each other if we can not come in terms to have civilized debates.
2304  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop Treating Bitcoin as if IT was a Product! Stop saying." I am selling it" on: December 07, 2017, 07:14:56 AM

many of you are greedy ass hats and are no different from the government, we should be making bitcoin a new payment method instead we are treating it as a product of greed.

That's why I hope the price plummets.  I had high hopes for it being a decentralized currency.  Instead it is now universally considered as a "store of wealth".  It cannot survive over the long term in such a form but greed has blinded 99% of those actively posting on this forum.  They are also blind to the fact that greed is fueling the flood of capital.  Most people that I personally know that have put money into BTC recently have no concept of how it works or how it was originally intended to work.  They can barely turn on a PC...and will be the first to lose it.  This class of investor is the equivalent of the shoeshine boy giving stock tips before the 1929 crash.

Thank you I am glad someone realizes this is not healthy for Bitcoin as a whole.  I remember when Bitcoin was treated differently but now I see why people are now calling it a bubble, is sell this, and sell that.  Instead of thinking how will they use bitcoin that made them rich to put it back into something bitcoinish.  My new word.  They want to put back into the government created fiat that made them suffer.  It is like saying your my best friend till you make me rich, oh NVM I want to back to my ex friend who treated me like Sh$#$#.

I don't know why you Annoying too much. Every person has different point of view of expressing.
Bitcoin buy and selling is a part of Bitcoin trading. Some people hold for long term without doing any
trading and some people's doing daily trading for booked daily 3 to 5% profit.

Correct term when doing that is called exchanging.  I exchange USD to Euros everyday, I do not sell them,  The exchanged rates.
Yes you newbies with alt accounts are starting to get on my nerves, too much junk thread due to you guys making alt accounts to boost post count.
2306  Other / Meta / Re: Account farming ?!? on: December 07, 2017, 07:09:49 AM
I've run into a thread that had only newbies posting and when out of curiosity I checked their profiles they are all posting in the same threads in the same order.

Since multiple accounts are allowed, is account farming banned?
Should I start reporting them?

I'll post the links with the usernames after I get a response.

I think meta topics like this should be blocked from newbies and members seeing it, they learn how they are detected will only make banning hard to detect who is using alt accounts, I opened a thread, and I am sick of these newbies starting garbage threads.
2307  Other / Meta / All I want for Christmas is a Newbie and member thread lock on: December 07, 2017, 07:06:57 AM
I am seeing tons of garbage post from newbies and I am sure this one is 1 also but I have to complain I come here to talk about important topics and there is piles of newbie threads asking about things I am sure they can do research on.

ok too the people who are say they are selling it, let me correct you, your exchanging it, Bitcoin is not a product!  Its seems that many of you are greedy ass hats and are no different from the government, we should be making bitcoin a new payment method instead we are treating it as a product of greed.
2310  Other / Meta / Re: Are there real people here, or just bots? on: December 07, 2017, 02:10:13 AM
Strikes me with the same questions being asked over and over, with the same replies over and over...

Forums like this are simply a purvey of bots.

Clever I gotta say... but as Abe Lincoln once said....

I am positive that these questions that were posted and exists here are an actual human. because if questions kept on appearing without any purpose(from bot) the people that uses Bitcoin will not logically been better, nevertheless they will only stays in the same knowledge of Bitcoin until more experience that they receive came new. So, basically the truth is these are real people and as you can see nowadays Bitcoin price are insanely rising from day to day.

questions to fuel alt accounts to boost there post count for sig campaigns I bet, if there was no sig campaigns there would hardly be that much newbies shit posting.
2311  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Hits $14,000! on: December 07, 2017, 02:00:30 AM
What is going on?? It's just crazy.
Bitcoin costs $ 14,555 now on coinmarketcap.com
What to expect in the future? How do trade it with such changes. I'm shocked  Shocked

why are you look at 1.0000000 as a fullbitcoin?  0.00000001 is MBitcoin so 1 satoshi is 1 bitcoin lol, you guys are looking at this all wrong

1 more thing to add, you also are a shit poster for starting a thread on this topic which is off topic!!!!

Because some new users are asking question without knowing that question is already asked and answered many times. So the possible solution here is to pin the basic question like, what is bitcoin? who created bitcoin? how bitcoin works? these are some question that i read in this forum many times.

I know right, too many shit posters, am hoping they can stop letting nebies make topics, but if they really cared they would have done something about that now.
2313  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Somebody just become billionaire with bitcoin, any words? on: December 06, 2017, 07:49:23 AM
I honestly believe they dont care about the money part, I think it has to do about proving to their colleagues and their family that they are something not to reckon with.  They are nice guys who did just that.  We all should be kissing their arses.
2314  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You want to be a millionaire? if you own 0.01 btc you already are on: December 06, 2017, 07:47:00 AM
100 million dollars for each bitcoin is a dream, I mean we have to be realistic here. The rise up to 10K took a very long time already, and issues like energy costs and transaction fees and a large number of unconfirmed transactions are popping up, to say nothing about whether the crypto economy will make it possible to reach 100M. I think it is highly improbable and actually practically impossible.

Its nothing more than a dream. Its good to have a dream but something which does make sense and feasible is what you can work upon to achieve it. Rest it would be magic if it can even reach 50k in coming years. Their would be many obstacles that might come in between due to which drop will happens and it would have to recover from their.

I say yes, he's right.
Bitcoin reaching beyond 10 thousand already faced different obstacles just to achieve its present price.
Knowing that indeed it was not supported to even happen before but it did, still is not the big issue. Since that bitcoin came from cheaper cost, then it can rise as fast as it could.
But with the price right now, I think a 100 million dollar per bitcoin is not as feasible as you look.
Before it reached its present price, ICOs, regulations and banning are already influencing as a positive or even negative to bitcoin. And before your dream come, I think there are more obstacles to come.

Yes I can agree to this,  I never said it would be easy, Im just stating bitcoin true value.  I do not think it will go more then 100 million per 1.0 bitcoin coin, I think it will go up and down.  Hopefully at this time there is more acceptance on a merchant level.  We will have to learn not to cash the bitcoin back into fiat but to use it to purchase.  Why put it back into a fiat anyway?
2315  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You want to be a millionaire? if you own 0.01 btc you already are on: December 05, 2017, 11:03:07 AM
Ridiculous beyond all thresholds. If $1,000,000 = 0.01 BTC, then what is going to be the value of 1 BTC? $100,000,000? If that is the price of one coin, then what will be the market cap of Bitcoin? Let's do the math. It is going to be $100 million x 21 million coins = $2,100 trillion. This is 7 times higher than the total global wealth.
Right and Bitcoin is already beating a few currencies.
2316  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You want to be a millionaire? if you own 0.01 btc you already are on: December 05, 2017, 10:44:41 AM
The title says it all get 0.01 btc and you are on ur way to becoming a millionaire, you already are one if you do not know the true value of bitcoins, cough cough Satoshis.  Forget about owning a full bitcoin, you want to earn satoshis, which we call the units of 0 and 1 or Mbits milibitcoins.  Soon a few years from now 1 satoshi will be the equivalent of 1 USD or Euro if money is still around. You know yes most of you missed the billion dollar train but still you have time to have a million dollars worth of satoshis.  so if you do the math owning 0.10,000,000 = 10 million USD  so if you own 0.01 that makes it 1 million dollars.

You are wondering why I am saying bitcoin is worth 100 million dollars right?  We have a long way to go.  Cough cough, Many factors that contribute the value of 1 bitcoin being worth 100 million dollars.  Well Bitcoin is not just a local or gov owned store of value, its competing with Fiat currency all over the world, from USD, to the YEN.  There are many factors I can shoot out but one major one is that Bitcoin is becoming mainstreamed and the fact there is probably going to be 16 million bitcoins in circulation, why I said 16 mil?  because they are probably around 5 million bitcoins lost.  If you want to add to this topic any more factors that reason why you are already sitting on a million dollars, please be free to do so.

Edit: It seems a few of you are agreeing and few are not.  I remember a time the few of you said the same thing about 10,000 USD a bitcoin.  I remember when they said that about 1,000 USD.  Guess what they are all kicking their arses now.

Here is another factor to add that Bitcoin a World Wide curreny that is competing with fiat.

https://www.google.ro/search?q=how+many+people+in+the+world&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-b-ab&gws_rd=cr&dcr=0&ei=b0gmWuzOGOHWjwTI9bz4BQ

Okay. If I will be millionaire owning 0.01 btc, where is going to be Roger Ver? And Winklevoss brothers?)) Bros have 100 000 btc. So 100 000 x $100 000 000 = 10 trillion. Trillionaires?))) What are you smoking? Grin

Do not forget about Satoshi.  They will use there money to fund more bitcoin projects, you should be kissing their arses right now.
2317  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You want to be a millionaire? if you own 0.01 btc you already are on: December 05, 2017, 10:29:29 AM
$100 million is just an arbitrary number and purely an assumption from your side. Bitcoin is still at $11k and it took 9 years for BTC to achieve such a target. Although the growth of Bitcoin has been too good this year we cant expect Bitcoin to grow at the same rate for the rest of the time. Bitcoin will be more volatile as it increases in price. Small fluctuations would mean changing the price in thousands of USD. This would create more problems to BTC than what it is facing now.
do you know why it is having this growth?   Do the research before you say it is an arbitrary number.
2318  Economy / Speculation / Re: 12K, great, another silly....... on: December 05, 2017, 10:23:03 AM
Until the end of the year will see about$ 15,000 after that we'll go to a good correction, and for bitcoin and altcoins tumbled down. But in the spring, all to win!

stop saying correction, bitcoin wont have a correction till it reaches millions, that is the honest truth.
2319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to recognize scam on: December 05, 2017, 10:17:49 AM
Well I figured is better to invest in a company that already has some kind of establishment or function going.  Investing will always have risk, just because a business fails does not mean it was a scam.  Look soon Ill be starting an ICO maybe,  The thing with these ICO, They take to much money and credit to themselves.  Look at Spectrocoin, they really need that much money?  There time frame is fine but that amount of money is a question.  I dont see that market very lucrative at this point to give them that much funding.  I have a product that is worth more then they are asking but I will not ask that much, because more money you get, can arrive more problems as well.
2320  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the 21 milion of bitcoin a real limit? on: December 05, 2017, 10:12:41 AM
Yes, 21 milion is limit and you cant mine more. On the other side some value of bitcoin is lost because people forgot private keys from their wallet and coins on their wallets out of circulation. So real limit slightly less.

According to reported data, there are about 5 million bitcoins lost in cyberspace,  so about 16 million coins will be in cirulation once it reaches the limite cap.  Lets hope more people keep losing there bitcoins Smiley
