Can these collectibles stand for years and the privkey will be there?
There's stuff I've printed out 30 years ago on the nastiest paper with the crappiest printer that's still absolutely fine. I can only think of faxes that have faded away. Something weird would have to happen for anything printed normally not to last for a very lengthy time. All the same I'm sure he wasn't expecting these things to be cherished for thousands of years. yeah, as far I understand from the research I have done, most ink/paper combinations should last 50 years, but very few combinations will last 100 years. Some will last 1000's of years, and some will be lucky to last 10. So probably not a huge issue right now, but it could become something people start to worry about in another 10 years, and I am planning to keep mine forever, which is why I started thinking about it. Since the private key is under the hologram...wouldnt this protect the paper and ink as well a bit..thus decrease the paper wallets deterioration rate over time?

They are getting higher premiums than 0.5 brass cas possibly cause they are the cheapest Casascius coins you can buy loaded...are made of silver...rarer and more visually appealing as well.

It has long been a topic of conversation amongst us physical bitcoin collectors on who made the very first loaded bitcoin item. There was a theory that Gavin Andreson created one back in 2010. After all it was his original idea that started it all as you can see from the following thread.. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2537.msg34413#msg34413 In it he states... Yeah, cool!
Could you punch a couple of holes through the B? I like topologically interesting money.
And if you want to make it the absolutely coolest coin in the world, generate a new bitcoin address, send 1 bitcoin to it, and then engrave that address on the coin.
Then you have physical currency that the owner can independently check to make sure the bitcoin backing it hasn't been spent.
So for years people have always debated who was the very first. Well I finally reached out to Mr Andreson and he replied as follows.. I never created physical bitcoins— until Bitbills (and then cacascius coins) I didn’t think enough people would trust the creator to destroy the private keys. I was wrong, turns out quite a few people were willing!

I own a mycelium entropy and do not have a printer with a USB port to print out the paper wallets. Does anyone know how to print out using it on the USB port? I gave tried...but with no luck.
I have one but I haven't used it in a long time. When you plug it into the USB port, it generates an image file of a paper wallet. You just print that. You might have to tell the computer that it is a storage device. BTW, plugging that device into a printer is absolutely the safest and most convenient way to make a paper wallet. Tried again...and you were right..it created a new image each time with a new wallet! Thanks.. For some reason was thinking more than one image had to be created. Cheers

Here is a copy of the user manual: https://www.mycelium.com/assets/entropy/me.htmlThanks! I am also looking to buy another Mycelium if anyone has one for sale

I did not use Mycelium entropy before but as I see it, using Mycelium Entropy without being connected directly to the printer will defeat the purpose of this USB. Mycelium entropy was designed to produce a randomly generated keypair when it is connected directly to the USB port of the printer. Also, the generated key pair is not stored in the USB, so when device has been ejected the key pair is automatically lost, which makes it ideal to produce your private and public to ensure that the keys are not compromised. Also, where can I get the best and safest paper wallet generated software?
So far this is the most accurate guide I have seen on the internet. [1] https://coinsutra.com/make-bitcoin-paper-wallet-spend-bitcoins/[2] https://github.com/bitcoinbook/bitcoinbook/blob/develop/ch04.asciidoc - paper wallet generation is found on the last page. Thanks for the info... But i could still use it on a cold computer that is never connected online

Saving a page and running it later offline is equal to running a software with unverified source code. You could try to verify it yourself of course, but you need to be a Javascript expert and still there's a chance to miss the backdoor code. The correct way is to launch a live OS, create some private key - address pairs with a wallet like Core or Electrum, and print them out as QR codes. You won't have those fancy designs, but it's much more secure. You can also create an Electrum wallet, write down the seed with pen and paper and print out as many addresses as you need - this will avoid the risk of exposing your private keys to an untrusted printer. Great 💡

Thanks..I am a bit leary of any online generated on or off..but will look into this. Are there any new paper wallet generated hardware devices like the Mycelium entropy?

It either said on the box or a sticker...you didn't need to open the box....i also had a special one with red lettering that was given out at a show...never saw another one like it anywhere else ok great! thanks! now to dig thru and double check mine lol and a red one? did you open it? No...i never open any wallets that I buy...with the exception of the only one that I use...a Trezor. Then again I also have Trezors still sealed that I will never use either...as they are part of my wallet collection
