And it is a home match for Sevilla so they must win here.

Dortmund had a huge disappointment against Leipzig in their home match. I don't know how they played this badly in defense and offense both. When you are having defense problems, you can at least try to get ahead of this problem by being better at scoring. But Dortmund had only few shots on target in the whole match. This 1-4 loss must be embarrassing for them and this was the end of the season for Dortmund for certain. They are going to end the season without even one title.

Real Madrid won against Celta Vigo by a decent score, 2-1. It wasn't an easy match that's for certain. I understood then why bookmakers thought Real Madrid would have some difficulties in the match. But I'm pretty sure that so many people bet on Real Madrid to reach the victory. And Real Madrid didn't let anyone down. Benzema's performance was no different here and it was delightful as always. By scoring two more goals, he reached 24 goals in the La Liga. He is way ahead of his nearest competitors like 10 goals.

Finally we have started to see Kyrie Irving playing for Nets in home games as well. This is great news to be honest because this will help Nets become stronger than before again. However they lost their game last night against Hornets too. It was a loss by a 110-119 final score. Irving got a double-double by 16 pts and 11 ast. KD was the most scorer of his team by 27 pts. And for Hornets, Lamelo Ball did a great work and had the biggest role in their win by 33 pts.

Poland - Sweden matchup can be a really tricky one to me. Because it is too hard to predict which team could come out as winner of this matchup. It is really great to see Zlatan Ibrahimovic being back to his national team first of all. Because he retired first but it was a great comeback when his team needed him the most. Sweden are stronger at scoring now. However, there is going to be a Lewandowski threat for them as well. It would be great to see these two great striker facing each other. Poland are favoured but I'm thinking of giving a chance to Sweden in this.

Harry Kane will not be targeted firstly by Manchester City anymore most probably. Because it seems like that Manchester City have changed their route now and they are targeting Dortmund's wonderkid striker Erling Haaland to sign. They won't be the only team to sign him of course but they are one of the richest clubs in the world. So they have a big chance for him. And if this transfer comes true for them, then Harry Kane might be on the radar of some other big club. And that big club might be even Manchester United. If Ronaldo leaves in the summer, they will need a striker in the end.

Sevilla are in a really bad condition now actually. They got four draws in their last five matches. And they are likely to end the season even at the fourth or fifth position if they go on like this. Barcelona are already very close to get past them and it will surely happen. And Atletico Madrid have been playing really well for some weeks too. They have the same points with Barcelona. It wouldn't be a big deal for them to get past Sevilla too. But maybe Betis wouldn't be able to do so as the point difference is 7 now.

As we are talking about the Nice - Rennes match, I also think that it is a really tight one. We can't say anything for sure about these teams. Maybe there won't be even a winner at the end of the match. Because this is one of the matches between very close teams in strength. And in the recent times, Rennes have been more attention getting than Nice in the league. This is the main reason they have got the third position now. Nice found themselves in the fourth position suddenly and they will want to win this. Maybe a double chance for Nice would be a nice choice to give a chance.

After Barcelona, my second biggest favourite for the title is going to be West Ham. And I don't even hesitate to say this because West Ham improved themselves a lot by destroying Sevilla in a really tough match. Maybe the score was not about destroying but West Ham's performance in England was really solid. As they eliminated one of the favourites in this way, the expectation level from them has become much higher as they can realize it easily now too. It would have been great to watch a West Ham - Barcelona finale but we aren't going to do so unfortunately.

Liverpool - Watford and Burnley - Manchester City matches are not even difficult for the favourites. These matches would be like a practice match for them for sure. Mundo Deportivo says that Tottenham are getting prepared to make an offer to Barcelona centre-forward Memphis Depay this summer. His contract is running until the summer of next year. Normally, this tournament is way below the quality of a team like Barcelona. But there is another fact now that Barcelona won't be achieving any other title most probably if they fail here. Because it seems really hard for them to win the La Liga title. I believe they will make a big effort here and win the title.

The only thing Kylian Mbappe lacks now is really the Champions League title. And as he is not able to achieve this title at PSG, he needs to go to a team that he can really make it. A team that are very experienced in this tournament. And that team are Real Madrid of course. Real Madrid have been one of the greatest teams of the Champions League history so far. And after Mbappe joins Real Madrid, I believe that he will have this title at least once. And maybe this can happen even in next season which would be a great beginning for Mbappe too.
Winning the Champions League can make Kylian Mbappe continues the throne of Ronaldo or Lionel Messi as the world's best player. He also has to do it with a club with winning mentality, PSG is only strong in Ligue 1, but not in the Champions League. Maybe that dream will come true if Mbappe moves to Real Madrid. Mbappe must carve out his best at a club level to win the Ballon d'Or, because before that Mbappe has also won the World Cup with the French national team. Napoli haven't been winning the Serie A title for more than thirty years. Milan haven't been the champions for more than ten years too. And these teams are at the top now. It is so good to see the probability of witnessing a completely different champion team this season. I'm really bored of seeing a Juventus dominance in the league. This finally changed thanks to Inter last season. But from now on, we should be able to see this continuing. And rather than Inter, I'm eager to see Milan or Napoli making it to the title this time.

I'm curious about another thing too. And that is whether Arsenal will be able to even take the third position from Chelsea. But it is going to be really hard that's for sure. Because they both have the same amount of absent matches now. And Chelsea are keeping their place by a 5-point difference. As Chelsea have been on a solid run lately, it is going to be very difficult for Arsenal to even get very near them. However, they are going to play a match against each other in late April in Stamford Bridge. It is going to be really critical for both of them if they still have a similar point difference between them.
Before their match, they both have 3 EPL matches before their meet and it could be that they will be exhausted before then and likely that some players will surely be in Injury but even at that Chelsea performance as of recent speaks of them and I have confidence that Arsenal will he dealt with that day with 2-0. Tottenham and Manchester united has the tendency of taking the 4 th spot than for Arsenal to replace Chelsea in the 3rd spot. Yeah, the competition for the fourth place is fired up more recently. Arsenal and Tottenham can be seen as the closest teams to finish at this position for now. But it will be depending on whether Manchester United improve their game or not. They still don't seem to be a team to rely on surely. But it is in their hands to change this bad impression about them. The starting eleven is already quite enough to do so. It is all about the game strategy. And we will see Rangnick in the remaining matches. |
