A very fantastic price to buy Harry Kane so that he can recruit him to Manchester city, if there is a private chat there is a possibility that his move can occur because I saw in the lineup prediction article that Kane is not included in this match, is this a sign for Kane to leave?
Whereas in manchester city I want to know how Grealish plays in this match because I know this is an expensive purchase too but in my opinion that Grealish is not a player to be proud of before, but I want to see how Grealish performs tonight.

No one can say for sure what is going on with Kane. Nuno said when asked that Kane did trained with them in the morning but still not sure when he would be available. As for teams interested only City are keen on getting the striker. Last status was that City were preparing a bid of 150m Euro for the player don't know about any updates after then.

Agreement on personal terms with player might push the transfer but right now ^^ that is the update. Spurs also needs to understand if a player wants to leave then respect his decision.

Wow, Manchester United vs Leeds United 5-1. The perfect start for Manchester United. They immediately got the job done perfectly with today's big win vs Leeds United. I didn't get to watch the match because today I had the opportunity to fill it with a little vacation and it was impossible to watch the match while traveling. I just saw the replay and I can confirm that although possession was fairly balanced, Manchester United dominated the match today.
Watch the highlights they wasted a couple of chances and I think they could have won this 3 or 4 more goals more and I think the goal they conceded they will not concede when Raphael Varane is playing. It was the perfect game and Manchester United are looking a real threat to Manchester City this year.

How can you be so sure that they wouldn't have conceded if Varane was playing? Yeah he holds good experience and is coming in from a great team but that doesn't means he doesn't does mistakes. He did a lot of mistakes in CL last year when Ramos was injured remember?. It was a great match and United showed the superiority today.

BTW talks about championship promoted teams, they really did well. Brentford yesterday defeated Arsenal and punished them totally for their poor defensive performances and Watford today really did well with Aston Villa scoring 3 goals and get enough cushion to give them 3 points in the end.

It was so disappointing to see Arsenal losing their first match to Brentford, Arsenal even fielded 2 of the new players they signed recently in the starting lineup and they still could not manage to force a draw against Brentford. Maybe Arsenal should start to consider replacing Mikel Arteta with another manager if Arsenal still could not perform well this season.

It really hurts as Arsenal fan to lose this way. Yesterday was totally defence shit show, attacking wise I thought so that they would struggle but defence were really out of expectations. Both goals were due to poor clearance or man marking. I am not sure why Arteta doesn't uses Bellerin so much. He is still better than Chambers. Mari is another man in defense line who performed poorly. Seriously its really frustrating.

Like Jamie Carragher said
Quote
"It's just Arsenal. Weak, Bullied. It's men against boys. New Season, same old story"

Aston Villa have performed incredibly well last season and I think Watford might not be able to earn any points today from the hands of Aston Villa, I guess Aston Villa should be able to start their new season with a victory today.

Aston Villa hd made a lot of new signings. They have invested a lot in mid and attacking line. I really think it would be a good challenge in the starting match for Hornet's denfense. As in other hand, Watford's also have good young gunpower. It would be interesting to see how much Watford has changed and tactics.

I am expecting a low scoring match or most probably a draw in the PL starting match between Arsenal and Brentford. Arsenal are missing some key players in attack so it is bit hard to see them score much today. I haven't seen much of Brentford but lets see how they start today.

Which players are missing in Arsenal? I thought Lacazette, Aubameyang and Pepe are likely to play. They all played in last friendly game. I didn't see any missing players in probable starting lineups anywhere.
I'm betting on Arsenal win, it's a really nice odd, I see 2.06 odds in Stake for Arsenal win. Brentford is newly promoted team, I don't think they can get anything from this match. I don't think we will see a lot of goals though.

Check flashscore. Lacazette, Aubameyang, Nketiah would be missing the opener against Bretford today and here is news also confirming that: https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/arsenal-team-news-aubameyang-lacazette-24754121 . Thomas Partey, Gabriel are also the names in the absentees but with the two experienced guns missing in the attacking line its a bit difficult it seems. Lot would be on the shoulder of Pepe, Rowe and Saka today.

From the side of PSG owners, it looks like an allin for winning the Champions League this year (hopefully they fail). From the outside, it looks silly - even Real of the Galactic era could not win everything they wanted (at least with the desired frequency) and now any well-played team of less high-class players can beat a team of stars.

I understand what you mean. Too many stars on a team can have a negative effect on the overall success of the team. This has happened time and time again.
With the Champions League trophy now on Messi's shoulders, it will be funny if he fails. Cheesy

Well it pays sometimes and sometimes it don't. You can alone blame on players or new signings only. Take Chelsea for example in last season. They brought so many players- Silva, Chilwell, Havertz, Werner, Ziyech and another young player in defense and that all costed them more than 150m Euro. Lampard failed with that so many times until Tuchel came in and under him Chelsea were almost undefeated since then. They continued on to win the Champions League when the odds were totally against them. You also have to have someone experienced and tactical manager in order to win and I think Pochetinno is a great manager. The career he had at Spurs was really impressive and now he has all the players he needs. Sometimes you could be unlucky so yeah seems like PSG owners are trying to reduce the possibility of being "unlucky" I guess.

^  Yup.  And Brentford is playing at home in front of their supporters.  I think Brentford are staying up and could over perform this season.  They’ve been using the money ball approach in building their squad and it has worked so far.  Let’s see if it gets some success in the EPL.

I am expecting a low scoring match or most probably a draw in the PL starting match between Arsenal and Brentford. Arsenal are missing some key players in attack so it is bit hard to see them score much today. I haven't seen much of Brentford but lets see how they start today.

What are you guys betting at?  I’m looking at Chelsea and over 2.5 goals combo at 1.85, Everton to win at 2.01 and Liverpool to score in both halves at 1.83...

Chelsea and over 2.5.. hmm is Lukaku gonna start? He just arrived so I hardly think so but then again they are up against Crystal Palace so its a bit hard to say. Everton seems likely one to win and Liverpool to score in both also seems a bit hard. Honestly I am gonna wait and seem how Championship promoted teams start off.

Tottenham are in talks with young Inter striker Lautaro Martinez (23) now. Maybe they are thinking of the possibility that Manchester City can still sign Harry Kane this summer and they want to have a backup plan for that. But as Inter have sold Romelu Lukaku to Chelsea, I assume that they wouldn't be willing to sell Martinez also.
If Kane eventually leave for Manchester City, Tottenham will need a vigorous player to replace him. According to Report, Tottenham is willing to pay £60m for Lautaro Martinez. He have been in Inter since 2018, and scored 17 goals in Inter last season, and also contributed to the success of the club last season. I will really like to see him play in the Premier League, but it seems Inter won't sign him out. They sold Lukaku to Chelsea, and won't want to lose another talented player.

Inter knows how valuable Martinez is for them currently. They already were unable to hold Lukaku and now they lacks a player in that position who can hang in other end of the pitch and score goals for them. Martinez is the one of the main players who delivered for them last year and hence are holding him now. Reports are they are also having talks with Martinez's agent about contract extension so Martinez is going nowhere.

I am not sure with Mbappe will go to Real Madrid because management want to get free for Mbappe without pay transfer, looks how serious real madrid management to get mbappe right now, sure mbappe want to play for Real Madrid but madrid management not any ask for PSG to get Mbappe, how ever when Messi coming to PSG make Mbappe will stay one year for PSG before his contract expired.

Not sure what you are trying to say here^^ but I only got that you are saying Mbappe will not go to Real Madrid. I think there is nothing for sure in this Mbappe drama. Right now there is one year left in his contract and as the things stand he is not renewing his contract as the reports were before Messi to PSG was confirmed. In Messi's press conference when asked from PSG's president Nasser Al-Khelaifi about Mbappe's situation, he said that Mbappe wanted a competitive one and now they have one with all the latest signings so he has no excuse. I think PSG are trying hard for Mbappe to extend his contract but right now Mbappe is not interested. Let's see if he changes his mind. It's possible that he can go to Madrid or stay at PSG but at the moment anything can happen.

https://www.goal.com/en/news/chelsea-accept-roma-40m-transfer-bid-for-abraham/1imcd0gw5ap081u6t576nitd56

According to Goal, Chelsea have accepted a 34 million pound offer from Roma for their striker Tammy Abraham. And it includes a buy-back clause also.

If Abraham develops a lot there and becomes a top striker, maybe we can watch him at Chelsea later again like Lukaku now.

I've heard a rumour quite opposite to this that Tammy Abraham is now resisting move to Italy and thus AS Roma are now targetting Alexandre Lacazette. Either way with the signing of Lukaku I am sure Abraham's chances to start in Chelsea line up would be very very slim. It would be good to move to some other club while he has the chance.

@Avirunes Abraham doesn’t want to leave the premier league, but Mourinho is trying his best to bring him over but so far it’s not working. Also don’t you’ll think that 34 million is a lot for him, instead Lacazette seems to be a better buy, but only time will tell who Roma gets.

Yeah it is a bit but I really think Abraham should go down in between 20-25m given the form he was in last to last season. It was the new signings that made it hard for him to keep his name in the first team squad but otherwise he is a good and young talented striker.

Also Chelsea including buyback is smart too. I think he would become a good striker just needs a team that gives fair enough chances to prove himself and right now obviously Chelsea is not that team.

It looks like arsenal has reached an agreement for the transfer, moreover, arsenal really needs a goalkeeper to be a competitor for leno at arsenal, last season leno played inconsistently in guarding arsenal goal and often conceded goals, but in my opinion it was not entirely Leno fault because it was defense arsenal which was quite fragile last season, as an arsenal fan, I am personally quite disappointed if arsenal recruited ramdale this season and in my opinion there are still many good goalkeepers who can actually be targets for arsenal purchases such as Neto (Barcelona), Keylor navas (PSG) and also Andre Onana (Ajax) which does have a better appearance than Ramdale, by the way of martines, of course, the sale is a big loss for arsenal at the moment , and what makes me wonder is  when  a goalkeeper is considered bad by arsenal,so they let him go but play quite well at his new club like Wojciech Szczęsny (juventus) Martines (aston villa and david ospina (napoli) today.

Honestly I still think it is a waste of money. You can maybe get some new young player in areas the team lack. If the team wants a backup goalkeeper just then get someone on loan like Spurs did taking in Gollini (not sure if I am writing that name right).

Hmm. Leno on sale.. now that could be the point why they are going after Ramsdale.
2332  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 11, 2021, 03:56:08 PM
It seems that the anger of Arsenal fans at Arteta desire to sign Ramdals as Leno back-up did not dampen Arsenal interest in signing the Sheffield goalkeeper, and Arsenal have reportedly reached an agreement with Ramdale now for a fee of £24 million plus bonuses for a total of £30 million, according to I think this is quite a panic move for Arsenal in bringing in new players, especially in goalkeepers, because in my opinion Ramdale is not a good enough goalkeeper and is also sold at a fairly expensive price for a goalkeeper whose team was relegated from the Premier League last season.

https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/15841115/arsenal-advanced-talks-aaron-ramsdale-transfer-sheffield-united/amp/

I am not sure if it is good transfer but honestly they shouldn't have let Martinez go to Aston. I know that he wasn't getting much chances but he was such a great talent and maybe little bit of talk and maybe giving him more chances would have helped him stay but that didn't happen. Now I feel like same is gonna happen with Ramsdale. He was having good chances in Sheffield but will he now with Leno in the squad?

Messi is almost in and it is funny to see him playing with Ramos indeed Tongue

It is definitely and right now lot of supporters are waiting outside Paris airport. Reports are that there he will arrive in 30-40 minutes but yeah things are now all confirmed. Just matter of official confirmations and that's it. But wow, never thought out of all Messi would be playing alongside Ramos lol. Right now I am waiting for pic or video of Ramos and Messi shaking hands more than Messi arriving at Paris.  Cheesy

^^

Well everyone is excited about Lukaku back in Chelsea but I have doubts over his arrival. He sure had great season in Serie A but he wasn't that good in United. Yeah he scored but his stats in Serie A is far more better than PL. Maybe its the league level or maybe he has now developed? but nothing can't be said for sure.

Can only say things after how he gels up with the current Chelsea squad in 1-2 matches after his arrival.
2335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 09, 2021, 09:44:20 AM
But there were reports that Abramowitch is at least in talks with Messi and his father. I agree that the chance is possibly close to zero, but would you say there is absolutely no chance he might go to Chelsea? It would be a surprise, but at the same time it would be a nice surprise in my eyes.
Those are just rumours flying over after Messi leaving Barca. Right now Chelsea are focusing on getting a proper central forward who can score goals for them in PL and they are nailing down on Lukaku. I personally don't think they would go for Messi now. PSG are the only ones who are showing real interest and are the one close to sign him as of now.

Messi is going to PSG, it is fairly certain now. Moreover, if Messi had not gone to PSG, his destination could have been Manchester City, the team of coach Guardiola. But Manchester is not showing much interest in Messi now because of his high salary. I don't think Chelsea will be able to do well next season, even if they played well last season.

I don't think City would have been the destination. Yeah it would have been if it was in previous transfer window but not now as City made a mega signing Jack Grealish for 100m Euros and were happy with that. Anyway nobody saw Messi leaving Barca coming after positive news about contract extension so yeah PSG are the ones making the most of the opportunity now.

So is there any new rumours about Kane though?

No transfer rumours but only some comments from the player and Nuno clearing the earlier rumours spread after Kane missing his training. He is gonna train soon and will join Spurs.  Now I am getting a feeling that Kane is probably gonna stay.

Any updates on Arsenal interest on the player. If I recall correctly, they were interested in Locatelli and were also going hard for the player until Juventus came in and player also showed interest to join Juventus over Arsenal. Now I don't see any interests linking to Arsenal and Locatelli. I think that much from Arsenal if Arsenal were really interested in the player.

I didn't see any news about Arsenal and Locatelli, I guess they are not looking for him anymore. Juventus offered 30 million Euro but it's declined, they should make a better offer. Nedved said their offer is reasonable for a covid season. We could expect 40+ million offer in a regular season but pandemic hit clubs very hard financially. I agree with him, we are not having normal days and clubs shouldn't spend more than what they can afford.

I too think the 30 million offer is good value to both the teams but it seems Sassuolo are playing bit hard to get. Guess they just want to make most from the sale of the young talent. I also wouldn't blame them as it is very hard for them to make some good money and buy some players and build up the squad. But yeah Sassuolo also needs to think about the situation and maybe lower the offer they expect.
2339  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 08, 2021, 04:19:28 PM
Juventus wants Locatelli so bad while Sassuolo is trying hard to raise the price as much as possibile. Carnevali has warned all buyers several times that for his talent he has a precise price request which, for now, Juventus has not yet satisfied. Yesterday there was a new contact between the clubs to try to unblock the deal.
Sassuolo is asking for 35 million euros, it considers it the threshold at which it can satisfy all parties involved. The distance is not abysmal, moreover, the will of Locatelli to marry the Juventus cause remains very strong. It should be a matter of days now.

Any updates on Arsenal interest on the player. If I recall correctly, they were interested in Locatelli and were also going hard for the player until Juventus came in and player also showed interest to join Juventus over Arsenal. Guys I have rarely seen this thread growing by several pages within a single day. This seems to be record breaking since it is known that Messi is going to leave Barcelona Wink
because Messi is our friend, he is the man after Ronaldo. Both are already not young, but still, have glamor which can attract every club. Actually, Messi fits in the club which can make him stay in all time, I do not agree he going to PSG or ManCity, he will make dim another player, IMO, Messi is suitable going to AC Milan or MU, club which has history, but we can't be prevented him if want big cash.

You do realize that for a player to move to certain club they also have to have interest in a player and make a move on Messi. Right now PSG are the only club who has made the move on Messi. Maybe Milan and United weren't interested due to his wages or they already have player in that position. City were interested earlier but they didn't made a move as they already got the player Grealish.
