2322  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Total number of bitcoin users on: November 28, 2014, 09:58:24 PM
Not sure if you can get the exact figure on number of users based on statistic cause a user might be holding several wallets. Some wallets are inactive while there are others which are probably abandoned due to loss of private. So what I meant to say is there are a lot of factors here.
2323  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tips for Talking with Your Family about Bitcoin at Thanksgiving on: November 28, 2014, 03:02:40 PM
I won't be touching on the word investment. Instead will just let them know about the savings they will make for performing cross border transaction. I believe that is the main selling point everyone should use to convince.

I can expect it won't be easy so it will be up to individual one of us bitcoiners to play our part

2325  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: November 28, 2014, 02:36:58 PM
bitcoin will rule the world of digital currency one day
it will be peoples first choice for online payments
and you will feel proud to be a part of bitcoin community
it will happen, but not in a fast time. even when its price is much bounce a few years ago.
do not make it recognized by the real world. changes do occur, and it takes the process to actually recognized

Nobody can predict what is going to happen next. Everyone seems to have the positive outlook but it could also mean other way round

I don't see anything offending or breach of copyright trademark. Even the colors are different
2327  Economy / Economics / Re: Global Financial Crisis scenarios on: November 03, 2014, 12:43:22 PM
That basically depends on the acceptance level of btc. If the public generally sees btc as a store of value, any economic crisis woukd push up the price
2328  Economy / Economics / Re: The swiss are seeing the paper money fraud and are voting on gold backing on: November 03, 2014, 12:40:59 PM
Let's see what comes out from this when they vote. It would begin to sound like an advantage to bitcoin
2329  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? What would you pick? on: November 03, 2014, 12:37:13 PM
Kind of undecided for now. The low btc price looks tempting. While traditionally people have been relying on gold as safe storage of investment, it's about time btc make a difference. You can keep btc safe in your computer (if you know how to do it properly) plus it's free while for gold you just can't keep it at home. You need to pay for storage. So there's a pro and con here. Most likely I'll opt for btc and I hope I've made the right choice
2330  Economy / Economics / Re: How to earn money with bitcoin ? on: November 03, 2014, 12:36:11 PM
Do some trading. If you look at the exchangers some of them did not update their price fast enough. So there is a chance you can make a quick buck here. There are which uses trading bots for automated process. There's a script written solely for this purpose. But remember the risk involved as things might now go the way you intended due to severe lag in your internet connection. Also never gamble all the money you can't afford to lose.

2337  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HOW MANY BITCOIN LOST IN SPACE. on: November 03, 2014, 12:15:10 PM
Unfortunately there is no way to find out. A wallet that remains inactive is not an indication that it is no longer used
