2321  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Retail users out? on: January 24, 2022, 06:14:45 AM
After tested to max. pain limit during last 3 months and continuously suffering financially and mentally, I think the retail users have given up. If so, this is not good scenario. If soon there are no new & much positive vibes in the market, the things can go lower. Is not??
But my point of view is that in the highly sophisticated and versatile market there is a clause who stand till end will grow with market growth.

This is just a bunch of bald statements.
Did you conducted a survey among retail users?Did you do any kind or research and did you gather any statistical data, which can be verified?I don't think so.
OK,maybe a part of the retail users are out,but that doesn't mean they won't come back.
What do you mean by "continuously suffering financially and mentally"?
I big part of my savings is in BTC.My savings have a 50% lower value, compared to the October BTC price.
That doesn't mean that I'm suffering financially. The real suffering happens when you sell at a loss.
HODLing isn't financial suffering.
2322  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy low, Sell high? on: January 23, 2022, 12:06:43 PM
Many crypto traders are ready to buy,but they don't know when the price will hit the bottom,so they could buy at the bottom level.
The thing about Bitcoin/crypto in general is that when the price goes down(for instance 30K),everyone is expecting a further crash to lower levels, almost nobody is expecting a fast recovery. The same thing applies to the bull runs. When the price reached 68K,everyone was expecting a new pump to 70-80K,rather than going back to 50,40 or even 30K USD.That's just the way human psychology works.
The sellers are selling, but most of the buyers are waiting. This leads to the price dropping.

2323  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is $34k the bottom?? on: January 23, 2022, 11:44:41 AM
34K USD is not the bottom, but that's fine.
Just don't panic and don't sell anything.Stop bothering about the Bitcoin price(and altcoin prices).
The price drop was pretty much expected.Something has triggered panic selling, which triggered multiple automatic stop-loss orders on the crypto markets.I'm sure that the crypto market will recover from this cycle of panic selling and stop-loss orders, but we might be landing in the 20-30K price range, which isn't bad.
3 months ago, everyone was expecting a 70K-100K BTC price in 2022.Everything changed and I guess that everyone will be expecting a 70K Bitcoin price after one or two years.
I assume that having both crypto and stock prices dropping can be actually healthy for both the crypto and the stock market.

Гледам че БГ форума е умрял(както винаги),та си мисля да го посъживя.
Има ли оцелели след сриването на крипто цените през последните няколко дни? Grin
Някой да се е паникьосал и да е продавал? Grin
Как си обяснявате този спад?
Пандемията,инфлацията,международното положение,Федералният резерв?
Очаквате ли мечи пазар през 2022-2023?
2325  Economy / Economics / Re: The Nasdaq is quietly being shredded: new data on: January 23, 2022, 06:56:56 AM
Perhaps we should say goodbye to the "money printing machine go brrr..." era.
The Federal reserve won't stop the money printing completely, but it would stop throwing money at the US banking system and the US financial markets.
However, the US budget deficit would still have to be funded by somewhere. Grin
The US financial market will stop "swimming in money" and many overvalued stocks will crash.
Unfortunately the cryptocurrency price will go down and we might not see another BTC ATH in the next year or two.
The current situation has proven that Bitcoin is NOT a safe heaven and a protection against inflation.
The investors will run away from the risky/volatile assets and they will start buying low risk assets with a stable value.
2326  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your thoughts about online casino vs.physical casino on: January 23, 2022, 06:34:02 AM
There is one physical casino is the city where I live.I have never visited that casino.
I hate being around people, because I can't concentrate and enjoy the games.
Having many people around you is distracting and I'm more like an introverted person.
My choice would be definitely online casino.Gambling while you are in your comfort zone is highly preferable.
I prefer playing poker, rather than playing all those low IQ slots, dice, crash games.I have nothing against them, but they could get really boring pretty fast.
Playing poker at a physical casino would be a horrible experience for me. Sad
2327  Other / Archival / Re: Where is the current absolute bottom of Bitcoin? on: January 23, 2022, 06:14:38 AM
I wonder about the opinions of the CEOs,shareholders and financial experts of all the institutional investors, that bought Bitcoin 1-2 years ago, about the current price drop.
Are there going to be new institutional investors buying BTC,when they know that Bitcoin is capable of such volatility?
For me,the absolute price bottom of Bitcoin is zero.Claiming that a random number between 1 dollar and 30K USD is the "absolute price bottom" is just pure guessing.
I know that the bloodbath on the crypto markets will stop.Actually the stock market faced a price drop as well,so there's no clear reason behind the current BTC price crash. It's just the financial markets are being insecure about multiple factors-the pandemic, the high inflation, the tensions between USA and Russia.
It can be everything.
2328  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bustabit | Crash Game | Always Winning Script Best Price! on: January 21, 2022, 06:42:36 AM
How come the script is "always winning" but you put a disclaimer that there's always risk of losing. Grin
You con artists are funny.
If such "always winning" gambling scripts existed, all the casinos would go bankrupt,or perhaps the casinos would ban all the dice, slots, crash games and stick to poker games.
Even gambling addicts aren't that stupid and desperate enough to pay 250 USD for this.
Man,I hate scams but do you know what I hate the most?...Lazy scams! Grin
OP,you are insulting people's intelligence with this BS.

2329  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia's Central Bank proposes ban on Cryptocurrency trading and mining on: January 21, 2022, 06:13:21 AM
All the central banks around the world are usually against cryptocurrencies in general(this involves both trading and mining).I have never seen a central bank being friendly towards cryptocurrencies.
Russia is being anti-crypto for years and many Russians are still trading crypto and many miners have been mining crypto on Russian territory.I possible crypto ban means nothing, since many Russians don't care when it comes to breaking the Russian law.
This is just a proposal. It might be accepted or it might be declined.
I can see Russia becoming "the new China" for the cryptocurrency world.
More FUD news from Russia are yet to come.

In an interview he mentioned drug, cryptocurrency and alcohol has destroyed his life. In the beginning Steven knew what he's doing. Later he ended up losing around 5-10 bitcoins.

I don't think that drugs, alcohol and crypto destroyed his life. His addiction destroyed his life. His addiction is his own internal problem.Putting the blame on external factors(drug, alcohol, crypto) is not the right path for curing his addictions.
Trading can be turned into gambling,if you have no risk management and you always go for the high risk leverage trading. The lack of emotional control can ruin everything for every trader out there.

2331  Economy / Economics / Re: Microsoft to acquire Activision for $69B is all about Metaverse on: January 20, 2022, 07:41:21 AM

There is an impression in the Linux community where everything that Microsoft touch dies like Yahoo and Skype. Will Activision die too?

You forgot to mention Bing. Grin The only difference is that Bing was created by Microsoft, rather than being a separate company, which is acquired by them.
Jokes aside,I don't really think that Bing is dead. They are just totally behind Google in the search engine niche. The entire MSN portal is totally behind Google.
Anyway, paying 69 billion for a gaming company seems overpriced.Microsoft have Xbox, can't they just develop and expand Xbox even further, rather than spending billions on a gaming company?
Maybe there's something in the bigger picture, which I'm not seeing.
But yeah, this news definitely doesn't have anything to do with the metaverse concept.
2332  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 20, 2022, 07:14:55 AM

If they can bring both Mbappe and Haaland to the team, the legend of Los Galacticos could be reborn. The Casemiro-Pogba duo also gives great advantages to the offensive line. However, the question is, will Real Madrid have the financial power to realize all three transfers in one transfer window?

Perhaps Real Madrid could get Pogba during the summer of 2022.
Luca Modrich is 36 years old.He will have to retire at the end of this season(or maybe he will leave Real and join a club in USA,Qatar or China).Real Madrid would definitely need a younger midfielder to replace Modrich.
I'm sure that Real Madrid has the finance to buy Mbappe and Haaland(or Lewandowski),but they will have to sell Eden Hazard and Gareth Bale.Anceloti definitely won't rely on Hazard and Bale for the rest of the season.
2333  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I keep getting calls telling me there are are few bitcoins blocked in my name. on: January 20, 2022, 06:50:51 AM
Are you receiving a text message or a phone call?
If it is phone call, how does the caller's voice sound like?Is he speaking with an accent?
I'm 99% sure that these phone scammers are located in countries like India and Bangladesh, where they have entire call centers of scammers working full time.
There's nothing else you could do except changing your phone number. There's no way to check about any bitcoins "blocked in your name".The whole idea of having some Bitcoins being "blocked in your name" and you having to pay,in order to "unblock" them is simply ridiculous. This is a pretty stupid scam.
2334  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who is the best crypto provider to give you advice on how to trade in crypto? on: January 19, 2022, 11:54:32 AM
Paying for "trading signals" is a big mistake.
Perhaps you could find some legit trading signals groups where they share trading signals for free.
However, there's no guarantee that their signals are going to be profitable all the time.
If you are looking for tutorials, tips and tricks about how to trade crypto, there's plenty of free info available online, but remember that your best teacher are your own mistakes. No tutorial, ebook or online course
is going to make you the perfect cryptocurrency trader.
2335  Economy / Economics / Re: Doctors fear health care collapse amid omicron surge on: January 19, 2022, 06:59:57 AM
Quote
Cryptocurrencies, I think could be developed to improve healthcare in the united states and worldwide. There are many obvious steps to improve healthcare. People taking steps to exercise more and be healthier would go a long way towards making healthcare more affordable for all. As would people refraining from drug and substance abuse. These are not necessarily issues for government to solve. But has more to do with choices made on an individual level.

How can cryptocurrencies improve the healthcare system and make healthcare more affordable?
I don't see a way for this happen.
Changing the currency you use to buy something won't make the thing you are buying cheaper.
The problem with the US healthcare system is that it is more "free market" oriented than the European healthcare systems.Creating a "healthcare market" is a bad thing, because the market can be distorted and this can increase the prices to unprecedented levels.Almost all the affordable healthcare systems around the world are dominated by the governments and the private sector inside the healthcare system is heavily regulated.
By the way,I'm sure that the Omicron wave won't lead to the collapse of any healthcare system located in the developed countries.I'm not sure about the underdeveloped countries, though.
2336  Economy / Gambling / Re: Hashwars.games | Blockhash based Rolls/Verification | No KYC | up to 0.01% edge on: January 19, 2022, 06:38:00 AM
I like the concept of the game. It's always good to see something different than all the slots and dice games and all the crypto casinos, which are using the same template.
I assume that you don't want to grow a business out of this and you are not making it for the money.
This game has an educational element, which is something I like.
It would be nice if more gambling games and casinos had an educational element attached to them,so the gamblers could play and learn new stuff at the same time.
The big problem is that many gamblers simply won't find your game to be interesting enough.
Most of gamblers want flashy games with a good design.
Good luck with this project,OP!
2337  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain Tech has been Severely Oversold on: January 19, 2022, 06:13:56 AM
I remember that blockchain technology was really hyped years ago.
There were multiple articles about banks trying to adopt blockchain technology and all the bankers were saying
"We don't know about Bitcoin/crypto,but blockchain technology has a huge potential."
I guess that they were all hypocrites and I'm sure that 99% of them never knew how blockchain technology actually works.
Blockchain was a cool buzzword and every scammer around the world wanted to make a "decentralized blockchain project".
Nowadays the term blockchain isn't oversold anymore. The seekers of "the new big thing" are using new buzzwords, like NFT.
2338  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin User Loses Record $1.1M on: January 18, 2022, 11:36:48 AM
If you had 1M USD,would you want to double them by sending the money to a guy,who promises you 100% profit right away? Those "double your BTC" giveaways are a total nonsense. It doesn't make any sense.
Rich people can be naive.Who knows?
Perhaps this guy is so rich that he could throw away 26 BTC at some "fake giveaway" without caring about the consequences. He probably has 100 million dollars and he doesn't care about losing a million or two. Grin
2339  Economy / Economics / Re: PEOPLE DURING THE PANDEMIC. on: January 18, 2022, 11:17:28 AM
OP,you are just making a bunch of vague statements that cannot be statistically proven.
You are saying that many people had lost their jobs, but the unemployment rates had actually normalized since the 2020 levels of unemployment.
You say that many businesses went bankrupt, but I don't have actual data about businesses going bankrupt.
The vast majority of the "brick and mortar" businesses survived the pandemic, some of them are thriving.
Some countries are facing bigger economic problems than others. You can't make generalizations about the all the people and all the businesses around the world.
NFT games are close to becoming a ponzi scheme.Good luck with trying to make money this way.
A game is a game, you could win,but you could also lose. You can't make consistent money by always winning.
This is every gambler's "wet dream". Grin It could never happen in reality.
2340  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will be the next big industry move? on: January 18, 2022, 06:56:09 AM
The next big moves in the gambling industry would be towards the VR(virtual reality).
I don't know how this VR thing will improve the gambling experience. For some reason,Meta and VR technology is becoming the new big trend in the online world.I don't know why.
Decentralized gambling platforms are something that might not happen in the future, since the gambling industry is so heavily regulated by the governments.I guess that the authorities want casinos to stay centralized, because this way it's pretty clear who has the responsibility to run the business and who will be persecuted in case of scams and other sorts of crimes.
NFTs and play-to-earn games are another wave of "innovation" in the gambling industry, but I'm not sure about what percentage of these Play-to-Earn games are going to turn into actual scams in the future.
