2321  Other / Meta / Re: What is the advantage of Wearing signature avatar on your BTT profile? on: April 05, 2023, 04:33:00 PM
Have seen many of members wear signature avatar, Can you members give idea what that be expected from wearing signature avatar on your profile?
It's pretty much about the visual representation of whatever is occupying the avatar space and in most cases compliments the signature.

And the idea of wearing these avatars is part of marketing and in some cases could boarder around a picture says a thousand words.

Btw most avatars come paired with the signature and is all about helping a project get known around the forum.
2322  Other / Archival / Re: Sinbad.io Mixer - secure, fast and easy to use on: April 05, 2023, 03:22:29 PM
I was just thinking,  is it possible to have some kind of review campaign of Sinbad to see if users on the forum can or know how to use a mixer ? I know the idea isn't entirely new as other competitors might have adopted this idea already but just so have some kind of appraisal of how easy is it to use the platform will be a great playform for feedback and any possible adjustments to the service...

The idea of doing reviews is not a bad one. But I think whenever someone receives money to do a review, it can always give the idea that they are being biased.
I get where you going with this but it was mearnt to be a litmus paper test to be used as a feedback gathering exercise to see how easy it is to use the service, and not getting biased reviews... I guess this is the reason such campaigns aren't opened to all to avoid getting one sided views.

Don't you think Sinbad is doing more than enough promotions in forum already? Smiley
I give them credit for this but since we all see it as a campaign promotion overload then idea is off the table Smiley
2323  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you profitable? on: April 05, 2023, 03:05:08 PM
In trading many people especially online influencers and traders, Are they really profitable?
I dont think so! The second you said influencers means their income could be coming from driving the masses to where the need people signing up and the alike so that the get the commission and not from trading.

many new people trapped buy listening to those influencers that they say just you need to buy at this line and sell at this line. and whoa! you made profit,
The thing with trading is anybody can guess the zone where they anticipate price to move up or down but the million dollar question is can you do this on a regular basis, i doubt if most can because stats out there say 90% of traders fail and numbers dont lie.

Btw the real money for these guys comes from being subscriptions!!!

My question is are your profitable trader and can you share you journal or something ?, many of us will feel motivated.
I count my self profitable with the winrate of slightly above 50% and with a minimum risk to reward of 1:5 am definitely in the green and as for my journal i kind of stopped doing this because i put my notes on trading view  to keep my trade history and all.

2327  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is buying BTC now, the best option ??? on: April 05, 2023, 12:27:23 AM
When it comes to buying bitcoin and taking its prices into consideration,  lets always remember that bitcoins potential has not been fully unlocked and this generation is very much tech savvy... which means in the future when most monetary transactions will be all going digital,  expect cryptocurrencies to be on the top list and btc could be X50 the value of today.
In short there is no wrong or right time to buy your bitcoins, buy at every chance you get, good luck.
2328  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Participating in Mixer Signature Campaign on: April 04, 2023, 10:43:16 PM
Mixer Signatures have been running on the forum for a very long time and seeing this new development could be that the  dust has not settled from the Chipmixer saga and the call to keep mods off mixing services is trying not to give a stamp of approval of services that could bring the forum in disrepute , and if things go on as they are i foresee a situation where mods could actually be paid for their time spent on the forum to keep this place functional (***don't take my word for it***)

For now no proper government ruling about totally banning mixers and declare this as illegal.
Totally agree!

Btw what makes mixers illegal if i may ask, them promoting  anonymity and privacy or because  owners dont put a face to their businesses ??

Doesnt bitcoin fall in this category too as its illegal in some counties...

And where does this  leave coins such as Monero ?
2329  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: BetKudos.com Weekly BTC Giveaway Week 2 on: April 04, 2023, 10:14:13 PM
Noticed you have this rule" Must rollover the $10 in BTC 100% (1x) to be able to withdraw' but from my week 1 refill of 10 dollars I managed to build my account to over $45 and it's clearly written that minimum to withdraw is $10 but this was not possible when i tried to withdraw as a pop up with a minimum $50 withdraw prevented me from proceeding which was frustrating and lost my funds to a retired tennis player after i went all in on a 1.07 bet Tongue

- improve on result grading, sometimes the process takes several hours to be settled...is the process done manually ??
- Live bets will be a great feature for the sportsbook, not sure about the eta according to your roadmap
- More markets need to be added, first half totals, team A/B totals, first quarter win, first set win , team A/B not to score etc
- would like to know were to find your T&Cs on how you grade certain matches in case of overtime or player retires for games like tennis etc

2331  Other / Off-topic / Re: Prepare for the life when you get old on: April 04, 2023, 08:28:48 PM
I think this message needs to be told to everyone when they get to be adolescents/teens that we need to prepare for old age as you wont be the youth you are forever!

And OP as you have discribed your Uncles situation, i think lets face it...things might not always look as they seem as people know how to hide bad situations and it was only at the end of his career that things got to the open and everyone knew how bad things were.

Sometimes living within our means also allows for resources to be saved up and used for the future because  we never know what life can through at us healthwise.

2333  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Attempting to help some underprivileged through Bitcoin on: April 04, 2023, 06:11:39 PM
Idea is good but people who will be well informed on how to use bitcoin arent  unprivileged if you ask me as they have access to information, the internet and the ability to learn new skills that will empower them for the future etc.

Btw if you want to help, it wont come from being here...you need to be on the ground and know the community you live in and where the help is needed the most unless you want to donate online to some of the NGOs that are into helping the  needing which will go a long way.

And seeing the condition of some people that they can't even eat properly, a thought came to my mind that I could do something for them. But I am a very little person and it is not possible for me to do so much even if I wanted to.
This is where most of us get it wrong, you dont need to be a millionaire to get something done...its the little things we do that make the biggest impact and starting little is fine, someone out there will appreciate the gesture.

All Division 1 and Division 2 players are free in the 1st round. They can submit answers for fun (the form requests it) but we aren't calculating it for freebets this week.

Excellent time to take a reflection break.
Maybe Division 1 and Division 2 players can afford this luxury of a break...

Here in Division 3 of the BSF CUP ,first round is an elimination round and the draws don't look pretty either..as we have matchups with big names fighting for survival...

And the return of the BSFL league am looking at playing  Trofo, leea-1334, Cryptofrka and one free week to lick my wounds.

TBh atm feels like Arsenal having to play Man City for the title chase with no time for breaks or to reflect on past performance here lol Tongue

Anyway, good luck to everyone.
2337  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think low processing fees is more beneficial for merchants? on: April 04, 2023, 08:50:43 AM
Anything that spells out paying extra is never going to look attractive to anybody but if it happens  that this mode of payment is the most popular  among the merchants customers then the merchant will have no choice but factor this in his pricing of goods and service's as this is a profit making business and not some charity organisation of some sort.

I think lower processing fees can be more beneficial for merchants.
Do merchants make instant excahanges to stablecoinsor something for them to feel the pinch of processing fees...?

For example ERC-20 has the most expensive transaction fees on the Ethereum blockchain due to its high price, but the BEP-20 network has the lowest transaction fees on the blockchain. So when we transact from wallet to wallet the fee is very low, but when we transact from wallet to exchanger, the fee is high.
With the new way ethereum is processed thought fees have come to acceptable levels,  haven't  used eth ever since it got forked thought its cheaper to use now.

Btw isnt it more expensive from exchange to wallet than wallet to exchange because exchanges exploit its customers.

The disparity in transaction fees can be noticed here.I think it has a lot of implications for merchants. Their operations are essentially managing their payment gateways for merchants. On balance, I think lower processing fees would benefit merchandisers
I guess best way to protect themselves is use blockchains with low transaction fees such as tron, binance, solona etc

2339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What if its falls! Will altcoin survive? on: April 03, 2023, 10:51:43 AM
It looks total crabs that without btc altcoin has no value streaming on its own.
Not entirely  true because if we bring in altcoins such as utiliy or stablecoins which dont rely on bitcoins performance we can see that  these can hold value as they are pegged on other assets performance like gold or fiat currencies.

I observed several occasions when btc experience downtime, it affects the rest of the altcoin and when it pumps altcoin experience likewise.
This usually happens for coins without strong communities,  had this been the case altcoins would be moving proportional to btc movement's but this Is far from reality as other factors affect the price of an altcoin such as token burns, pumps etc

That's mean alternatively, if btc falls flat altcoin will dies off. What their deep relationship? Why btc important to altcoin, what's the connection in between? Will altcoins really survive without btc?
Sometimes we see some altcoins behave this way because they are paired this way on some exchanges  and  for strong and popular alts cheaper coins means buying opportunity for investors which is why coins pump even when btc is in red.

Hey fellas, I just returned home - sorry for the delay.

The Cup questions are here.

All Division 1 and Division 2 players are free in the 1st round. They can submit answers for fun (the form requests it) but we aren't calculating it for freebets this week.

Is our performance in the  BSF Cup going to affect Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League (BSFL) log?

And this being the first round as quoted above, will Divisions 1& 2 players have to subscribe again $$$
