This leads hiqh quality intellectual posters to either altogether abandon the Turkish forums after months and years of being ignored, or engage in various backhanded and unethical deals like collusion, merit trading and multi accounting to create merit (and various other financial) advantages for themselves, which are in inflated surreal demand for the local section... 2) I have been an active and I believe a valuable member of both the international and the local BTT forums for over 2 years, and I can make the following statements for myself; i) I have never engaged in account trading or building multi / alt accounts for any reason
ii) I have never engaged in merit trading of any kindI would also bet any BTC amount that these 2 statements above are more than what 95% of hero & legendary members can say for themselves for the Turkish section; that is the irrefutable reality of how the Turkish section has evolved over the years. I believe the long standing Turkish mod EFS would also not hesitate to confirm such a statement. 3) In all of my messages and merit disbursement, I have striven to liberate the Turkish forums from multi account abusers, colluders and backroom dealers for merit or other benefits. Holy crap, the rumors were true. I didn't think vispilio had something to backup his claims. These clowns were indeed circle-jerking to each other. I guess we can't red-trust them because of this since nobody got scammed by that, nobody is a victim but we can exclude them indeed.

The current way for entry is too easy. EFS basically single-handedly introduced several random people from his section by merit gifting them over the past few months. Are any of these people trustworthy or have shown relevant, and proper judgement in trust-related matters? Nope.
I have to agree this is true, and most of these newly minted hero members of the Turkish forum (and some of their lower ranked buddies) seem to be always acting in lockstep unison, like a hive minded tribe, is that ok & ethical ? I can totally understand why an independent observer wouldn't consider the current state of the Turkish forums democratic, meritocratic or fair in any way... FACT#2: At least 5-6 guys on the Turkish forums orchestrated tremendous collusion on telegram for the purpose of exchanging merits back and forth between themselves here and then recommending each others' posts constantly to local and global merit sources, is that all right as well (a few of these guys have already been banned for other reasons by the way)? Now a good number of that same group of people seem to be rooting for each other for DT lists. If these are all valid tactics to become green trusted hero / legendary members with the hopes of landing some lucrative bounties in the future, then congratulations to them I guess In all honesty, I can guarantee you there are really high quality and intellectual posters on the Turkish forums, but some of them have been discouraged by the strange things going on there (and rarely even post anymore), so a more democratic & organic approach to Merit and Trust distribution for the Turkish section would be hugely appreciated. |

Forgive the English, but is there anyone in the Turkish section that uses the trust system? I've checked a few profiles to see if there's anyone I could add to my trust list but most people seem to have 0-2 ratings sent.
Thanks for an excellent question. Turkish forum is very active but there is a trust issue originating from the social problems inherent to this culture (at least in my opinion ). A lot of long standing veteran members are silent here on the Turkish forum, but there is a new wave of people collaborating on social media etc, then coming to the forum to act in unison, to produce certain results for themselves, which should also be kept in check I think; I believe concepts like DT, sMerit, etc. should be handled in a much more organic and democratic manner...
