2341  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitLucy.com 🎰 100% Deposit Match ⚽🏏🥊🏀 7 EURO Free bet 777 users! 🔥 on: May 12, 2022, 10:32:07 PM
Royse777 says more than 21k new users created accounts in one day, how is it possible for a new site to get over 21k users while they are not yet running massive advertising
Actually, this doesn't surprise me at all. All it takes is one or few users go spread the news about a new casino giving no-deposit bonus on telegram channels or discord groups and boom.. thousands of new users will try to join the party. Obviously BitLucy team weren't expecting this and, imo, what made things more complicated is that those channels or groups are local communities. So what the admins see on the back end is a big number of new users registering at almost the same time and having similar IPs.
2342  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New in Wallets. Recover a wallet on: May 12, 2022, 09:02:36 PM
When you created the your green wallet did you choose "singlesig" wallet or the other choice "Multisig Shield" wallet?
If you've chosen the first one then you should be able to recover your wallet using any wallet app that supports the bip39 standard (I just tried it using Electrum and it worked).
If you've chosen the second option (Multisig Shield) then this will create a 2of2 multisig wallet and the 12 or 24 words seed you have won't be enough to recover your wallet on any other wallet app.

If you have chosen the first option and still can't recover your wallet on an app that supports bip39, then make sure you selected the right addresses format (p2wpkh or p2wpkh-p2sh) because green wallet will create two accounts for these two formats (segwit and legacy).
2343  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Who earns the transaction fees? on: May 12, 2022, 03:24:15 PM
Thanks for clarifying it. It means the miners goes for the transaction with higher fee to mine first before going for the ones with lower fee if am not wrong.
Actually, miners will prioritize transactions which have higher fee rate (expressed in sat/vb) not higher fee. For example, if there are two transactions A and B:
transaction A pays 400 sats and its size is 200 vb (2 sat/vb)
transaction b pays 1000 sats and its size is 1000 vb (1 sat/vb)
Miners will prioritize transaction A and include it first in their blocks because it pays higher fee rate.
This might not always be the case depending on other factors, but miners will always prioritize transactions which will generate more profit.

Quote
Please I still need clarity on the target for a miner to find when attempting to mine a block into the blockchain. Where does this comes into play, where is it used?

2344  Economy / Gambling / Re: Wizary.com |🚀NEW CRYPTO CASINO🚀| on: May 11, 2022, 10:50:49 PM
By the way, I see verification being a hot topic here, one question. What is verification useful for, is it for withdrawal approval, or for promotional marketing from Wizary? I see a lot of objections when it comes to mobile number verification, but it's not a big deal for account security.
I don't see any phone verification when registering, I'm not sure what you're talking about. is they remove it?.
Yes, they've removed the phone verification requirement after many members expressed their unwillingness to register just because of it (and I can't blame them btw). I believe they requested it to prevent users from abusing their no deposit bonus and now that this offer expired, there is no need to keep it. I hope they will remove old users' phone numbers from their databases too.
2345  Economy / Gambling / Re: I miss the old OnChain gambling on: May 11, 2022, 09:52:33 PM
Honestly, I don't think high fees and slow transactions confirmation are the only or the main reasons why those on-chain casinos shut down their services and ceased to exist. The lightning network, for example, solves the above issues. So, if there was really a demand for, or interest in, such games then someone would have already relaunched a similar casino and implemented the lightning network to receive and issue payments. Zero-confirmation transactions can also solve those issues but it's a bit more risky.

2347  Economy / Gambling / Re: 💥🔥hilobit.live🔥💥 | BET HI or BET LO to roll 🤩 and the WIN BTC! 🤑 on: May 07, 2022, 11:51:46 PM
I just visited the website and to be honest I wouldn't dare to make a deposit on there. There are too many red flags starting from the OP who created this announcement thread and never came back to address users concerns or answer their questions to the poor design of the website and the annoying ads that you will never find on any respectful and legit service.
I advice everyone to say away from this casino if they don't want to lose their money.
2348  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to know if my new topic has been posted by someone before on: May 07, 2022, 11:11:17 PM
It's really joyful to know there are still newbies who care about the forum rules!
Regarding your question, I see that many members have suggested using the forum search engine. According to my experience, it's not really helpful especially if you don't know for example on which board to search, the user who wrote the post, when it was posted... If you are going to use it, make sure to use "Google search" on the top as it will give you more accurate results.

Anyway, don't worry too much about this and don't let it stop you from contributing to this forum or asking questions because in case you post a duplicate topic someone will notice it and inform you about it just like what happened with your first topic.
2349  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to find ID number ? on: May 07, 2022, 09:48:33 PM
User ID is a number represents your account. Let's use my user id as an example, to get my user ID, I need to go to Profile and then click summary. After that, you'll see it in your URL which mine is https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1726595;sa=summary. You may delete the ;sa=summary which leaves the https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1726595
I just want to add that you need to do this only when you want to get your own user ID, you click on Summary or any of the links on the left sidebar on your profile page. To get the ID of any other member, just click on its username and you will be redirected to his profile page.
To get the message ID, you need to click on its number (#xx) which you can find on top right of the post next to +Merit.
2350  Economy / Gambling / Re: BustabitWin.com | Crash Game Bonus of 100% of the Deposit Amount 🚀🚀🚀💥💥💥 on: May 07, 2022, 08:22:32 PM
^^
It looks like they realized the fake bet amounts on the leader board were too high and no one would believe them so they decided to lower them to look more realistic  Roll Eyes
Just take a look at their Help page! It doesn't make any sense. It says a hash will be used to generate the result for the next game and they will provide the md5 of that hash so you can verify the fairness of the game. But this isn't true first because they provide the md5 only after the game starts and second because they didn't show the algorithm used to generate the result from the hash.
2351  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Lots of scammers on binance p2p on: May 07, 2022, 06:34:18 PM
Scammers are everywhere and this doesn't apply only to binance but practically to any p2p exchange: never release the coins until you make sure you received the payment. For example, if you are expecting a wire transfer payment, don't rely on sms or email notifications, log in into your online bank account and verify you received the money. Also avoid payment methods where it's easy to make a chargeback such as PayPal.
2352  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Think New Casino Should Partnered With Bounty Managers To Gain Trust? on: May 07, 2022, 04:39:52 PM
Partnering with a reputable and experienced campaign manager is a good idea but not always a must for the success of the project and there are many examples that confirms this and this applies to all kind of businesses not only casinos.
A reputable manager will always do his own research and check the legitimacy of the project before accepting their offer. So when forum members see him promoting a new project they will trust it as much as they trust the CM. Besides, an experienced CM knows what kind of on-forum promotions the casino needs to get more exposure and reach as many members (potential customers) as possible.
But, as I said, it's not a must. They can assign one from their team to take care of promotional campaigns on this forum and achieve the same or better results. It's just this may take longer.
2353  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Still Supporting And Playing On Newly Launch Casinos on: May 07, 2022, 03:17:20 PM
For sure you will not caught up with new if we don't like what we are seeing to them so obviously for new casino they should do good things to acquire more people.
The problem with this is that it's really hard if not impossible to come up with a new game ideas or new features that weld established and long standing casinos haven't already thought of and implemented in their platforms. this is why we see threads started by casino owners asking their users for new features they want to have or any other kind of suggestions to improve their platforms.
Because of this, most new casinos focus on promotions and offer high rewards for new comers to stand out among their competitors and to incentivize players to try them in hope they become loyal players.
2354  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: sending with electrum on: May 06, 2022, 11:57:32 PM
Khaled0111,

Correct I sent it to a bitcoin cash address. When I attempted the second time there was an address converter due to a change in the addresses and I used the wrong address to receive the coin. all of the transactions have been within my Trezor device. I was sending a coin to myself and I once was able to exchange a bitcoin for a bitcoin cash, both of equal values. Support at Trezor said to import my public keys to get my coin back.I didn't have to do anything with the private keys.
Thanks for the clarification.
So, you used Trezor built-in exchange to exchange bitcoin cash for bitcoin, but instead of providing your Bitcoin address you mistakenly provided the bch address (Trezor considered it a valid bitcoin address since it starts with "3").

As I said above (and someone correct me if am wrong pls) , the easiest way, although not recommended, to recover your coins is by exporting the private key for that specific bch address from Trezor and import it into Electrum. Since the address starts with "3", you need to append "p2wpkh-p2sh:" to the private key.
2355  Economy / Gambling / Re: 24casino1.bet on: May 06, 2022, 11:08:34 PM
May I ask why did you choose to play at this so-called casino in first place and how did you know about its existance?
As you can see, no one of all the members who replied to your thread had ever heard of it before!
I invite you to create a scam accusation thread on the appropriate board, of course this won't help you recover your stolen money but at least it will serve as a warning for other members so they don't fall victims for this scam website.
Sorry for your losses!
2356  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [banned mixer] - how long until the recpient wallet accept the transfer? on: May 06, 2022, 10:09:18 PM
Their official representative here was last active few minutes ago [banned mixer]. Send him a PM or post in their Ann thread mk4 linked to above. They usually respond and fix such issues in no time.
They've faced some technical issues but according to their last update this is supposed to be fixed! Anyway, if you have downloaded and saved the letter of guarantee you should be fine.
2357  Economy / Gambling / Re: Wizary.com |🚀NEW CRYPTO CASINO🚀| on: May 06, 2022, 09:11:16 PM
So far I'm assuming that seeing successful withdrawals only sees 1 or 2 users. The rest may not get any winnings from the welcome bonus.
Yes, two members've confirmed they successfully withdrew their winnings. I got the bonus myself and made a good profit but unfortunately although I completed the wagering requirement and still had enough to make a withdrawal request, I didn't! I kept playing till I lost it all.
Just one thing I didn't really like from the experience of those two members is having to wait few hours for their withdrawal to get processed while the casino claims that withdrawals are instant.

I think they are listening to us, on checking the signup link nothing is showing up they may be fixing it that is why they disable it but I need to verify it to other members if they are also showing the same
You're correct, I just checked it and didn't see the phone number field on the registration page.
2358  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can i transfer from private wallet to CEX privately? on: May 06, 2022, 07:51:11 PM
2. Sell crypto for vouchers from wallet A and then sell vouchers again for crypto in wallet B (This should make it hard to link my wallet A to wallet b right?)
No, not really and this depends mainly on the platform you are going to use to buy/sell the voucher. Even if you use two different platforms they may cooperate and exchange information to track your transactions and link your wallets.
Better use a reputable mixer first (if you choose to use the mixer mocacinno suggested then make sure to use the .onion website) then exchange the mixed coins for a privacy coin like montero on a decentralized exchange. You can then send the privacy coins to the CEX and exchange them to whatever coins you want.
2359  Economy / Gambling / Re: crash game some new ideas on: May 06, 2022, 06:01:53 PM
I am not sure I correctly understood your idea but isn't the fee you are going to charge on winnings exactly what the house edge means!

Let's suppose just for the sake of argument that there will be a lonely player and he will play two 10 minutes rounds and the game odds are 50/50 (this is what the numbers will tend towards anyway with more players and more rounds).
Let's also suppose he will bet a total of $100 on each round. Since the odds of winning are 50/50 then it's safe to assume he will lose it all on one round (-$100) and double it on the other round on which you will charge him a 5% fee (+$95).
By the end, the player ended up with - 5$ loss and the casino with +$5 profit on a total bet of $200. So, on the long run the casino profit is 2.5% from all rounds.

This is what your house edge is: fee/2

Hey Royse, I just want to notify you that although you hid the User Email on the first screenshot you posted, it's still visible on the search field. Also there is this "filtered from x,xx total entries" not sure if this is the total number of registered users or not but you may want to hide this information as well.

I read the accusations made by several users and I believe all this could have been avoided if the casino rules were strictly enforced.
