2341  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Texts/"passwords" as private keys source and transactions on: April 30, 2022, 11:39:37 PM
Those are brainwallet and they were very common in bitcoin's early days. No one uses them anymore since they are unsafe and it doesn't matter how many time you hash the password.
Someone already found more than 18k used addresses. You can check his topic here for more details:
Collection of 18.509 found and used Brainwallets

There are many bots monitoring these addresses 24/24 to steal any coins they receive. This why you probably will never find any brain wallet with a balance.
2342  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Old, formerly used keys / seeds should always be saved, not disposed on: April 30, 2022, 11:15:33 PM
Even Satoshi advised against deleting old wallets even if you believe you are not going to need/use them anymore:
Sigh... why delete a wallet instead of moving it aside and keeping the old copy just in case?  You should never delete a wallet.

A private key or a seed phrase is a few bytes long so storing thousands (even millions) of them shouldn't be a problem.
Wallet files can be a bit large (if it has many addresses and labels) but you don't always have to back them up, you need only to save the wallets seed.
2343  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is a game you would like to see in an online crypto casino? on: April 30, 2022, 10:14:59 PM
Good initiative OP. Nice to know you care about what the community here thinks and ready to hear their suggestions. Kudos to you for that!
What I would like to see is an in-house card game (ie: Belote or any game that depends on skill) where players can play against each other (PvP). The most important thing is that the game must be provably fair to avoid any possibility of manipulation.
2344  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ChainEX.io is SCAM on: April 30, 2022, 09:11:19 PM
when I do so they still refuse to unlock my account, the reason is because I have a mistake in the spelling of my name.
How different the name you provided is from the name on your official documents? If we are talking about one or two characters then this shouldn't be a problem since it's common to misspell proper nouns especially if it's in a language different than the language the exchange uses. Normally, you can sort this out simply by contacting the exchanges customer support and explain to them what happened.
If the names are completely different then you are at fault here and you can be accused of trying to use a fake identity.
Not sure how legit this service is, but for the moment, only them can help you recover your funds.
Do they have an announcement thread or an official representative on this forum?
2345  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hard earned money - Busted in seconds on: April 30, 2022, 08:15:48 PM
Sorry to hear this happened to you. I hope you will find a way to recover your losses and be able to pay back the money you borrowed. Unfortunately, the interest Wil make things harder (hopefully the borrower will not charge high interest on delays).

Whatever happens do not gamble the money you have left in hope to double it. This is the worst thing you can do right now.
BTW, you said you started with a $3 bet and kept raising it up to $98! Were you trying some kind of Martingale strategy? You have been for quite a long time and you are supposed to know that those strategies don't work.
2346  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🦉 Owl.games 🦉 Web 3.0 Crypto Casino & Sportsbook - BTC-Metamask-Walletconnect on: April 30, 2022, 07:13:29 PM
And for the meantime, they have a discord invitation contest. To know more about the details, visit their Twitter post.

https://twitter.com/OWLDAOio/status/1519671195066634240
I read the tweet and the prizes are really tempting especially that there will be 100 winners and a chance to earn at least 100 usdo. That's awesome!
According to the tweet we have to invite at least 4 friends but it's not clear whether the first winners will be those who will invite more friends or will be chosen randomly and whether those friends have to create accounts on owl.games or just joining the discord channel is going to be enough. I hope someone will clarify this.
2347  Economy / Reputation / Re: roslinpl has changed hands? on: April 30, 2022, 05:07:17 PM
Did any one contact him to inform him about the existance of this thread and to see if he has anything to say to prove the account wasn't sold/hacked as he claims on his profile page under "other contact info" :

BTW, I don't think signing a message with a staked address is enough evidence to prove that the account hasn't been sold. Because if the new owner is still in contact with the real owner then he can simply ask him to sign a message for him for a few extra bucks.
2348  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A single trading tool is not enough on: April 30, 2022, 04:16:51 PM
Not sure but using different indicators usually doesn't work for me. I agree with the above replies, using multiple indicators makes things more confusing as, most of the times, each indicator gives a totally different results.
To be honest, am not an expert when it comes to technical analysis nor am a full time trader, but when I do I rely mostly on the market sentiment indicator more than any other indicator.
2349  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Concern on time spent my phone & pc due to crypto and btt, is this good or bad? on: April 30, 2022, 02:02:19 PM
I find bitcointalk very informative, and since my time here, I have noticed an increased time spent on both my phone and computer... is this a good habit that I'm about to begin?
No, it's not a good habit. Sitting behind a computer screen all day or using a mobile phone for long hours isn't good for your health especially for your eyes.
Besides, spending many hours a day reading about a subject doesn't mean you will understand it or learn more about it faster. At the contrary, your mind won't be able to absorb and process all that new information.
At least, use a desktop computer rather than a mobile device and try to get a good monitor with large screen size and a high resolution.
2350  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] MPLAZA Metaverse Plagiarized Whitepaper on: April 30, 2022, 10:38:57 AM
...
The white paper is supposed to explain to us what the project is all about, what problems you are trying to solve and how you are planning to solve them in details. It's like the identity of the project so it's supposed to be unique.
A plagiarized white paper should be seen as a big red flag every potential investor and I don't think blaming the copyrighter is going to work here because you (as project owners) had to read the wp before publishing it.
Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make us feel safe.
I think it's your potential customers who need some reassurances to feel safe not you.
2351  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I handle this? on: April 30, 2022, 01:20:28 AM
If these people have no clue about cryptocurrency then you should start by teaching them the basics such as how to make transactions, which are the best wallets to use and the difference between them, how to keep their coins safe.. Then you can show them how to spot scam projects and fake apps..

The most important thing is to never give financial advices. Just explain them how things works and make sure they understand the risks of investing in such a volatile market.
This is all you should do. If they still want to invest then they should make their own research so they don't blame you when things start going south.
2352  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ZDAO.PRO - Android Virus Scam on: April 29, 2022, 11:56:08 PM
OP, please edit your post and add a warning in front of the link or put it inside code tags. Someone may accidently click on it and download the fake app especially that this is a direct link.

I am not saying this is not a fake app (obviously it is) but it's worth noting that some anti-virus might return false positives especially when it's about crypto softwares.
Thank you for the heads-up.
2353  Economy / Gambling / Re: Do you prefer lots of promotions over better RTP? on: April 29, 2022, 11:36:32 PM
Most of the members in the forum believe that a mix of both would be good. But not sure if the gambler would have time to go through all the terms and conditions or they like to go through what they have thought about the bet.
Not most but all members would prefer a casino that offer both high RTP and more promotions, who in his right mind would say no to this!
The problem is that such thing is not feasible. A casino with high rtp or low house edge makes less profit and hence can't afford to offer many promotions at least not ones that give big rewards. If they do, they will end up bankrupt in no time.
2354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🚨 No bullshit casino | No min. withdrawal amount | 3 seconds cashout | BCH.game on: April 29, 2022, 11:10:29 PM
Whichever the amount you wanna cashout, you can.
Instantly with no manual verification.
Nice to know that. Actually, am not aware of any other casino that will let you withdraw huge amounts without manual verification, at least, not unless you have a well established account.

Regarding the anonymous accounts, I believe it's necessary to make it clear that a user will not be able to access his account if he for example clears his browser cache.
Also, what if someone makes a deposit then for some reason can't access his account, will you help him recover his funds if he can prove he is the real owner of the account?
2355  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Create Raw Transaction & Sign It without BitcoinCore? on: April 29, 2022, 10:13:42 PM
Not sure I understood your question correctly or what you are trying to achieve, but any bitcoin wallet software/app can create transactions if it knows your addresses (which addresses to use) and can sign it if it has the private keys for those addresses.

However, if you want to specify, for example, which inputs to use (coin control) or specify the fee rate... then you need a wallet that support such features.
You can also use some tools such as coinb.in or the one suggested by DaveF.
2356  Economy / Gambling / Re: The most trusted casinos on BTalk on: April 29, 2022, 09:57:22 PM
There are some places that appear on TV, which have good advertising but here in the forum they are not, it is also a factor to take into account, there is one called Rushbet.co, it is a Colombian platform and it is sports betting, In Ecuador there is also a so -called and Bet365 call that use it a lot, but I have not seen it here in the forum.
I just want to warn you that just because a service is being advertised on TV doesn't necessarily mean it's reputable or it can be trusted. This only means they have too much money to pay for the advertising spot. You can take 1xbit as example, you can see them almost everywhere but they still have a very bad reputation on this forum.

Soon I will launch my website which will be in casinos review niche and I promise to bring exciting new features and hopefully we will build a nice community.
This is wha I expected. I hope you will test all the mentioned casinos by yourself, as I suggested earlier, before promoting them on your website.
Good luck with your project!
2357  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: How to select UTXO's to pay from in Android version of Electrum? on: April 29, 2022, 09:02:31 PM
Unfortunately you can't manually select the coins you want to spend from using the mobile version.
If using the desktop version or importing your wallet into another wallet app such as blue wallet (suggested above by NeuroticFish) or you don't  feel confortable doing this then the only solution I can think of is to use a third party service such as coinb.in to create the raw transaction (you can specify which UTXOs you want to use) then you can import the raw transaction into Electrum to sign and broadcast it.

You only need to enter the address you want to spend from then coinb.in will load all it's UTXOs. Then you can remova any UTXO you don't want to use by clicking the (-) button next to it.
2358  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♦️Coinslotty.com | Up to 20% Cashbacks | Crypto casino | Multi currency wallet♠ on: April 29, 2022, 08:33:52 PM
and the prize pool is 1,000 FS for 25 winners, I still don't know what is FS?.
mrtornado is right. FS stands for free spins. If you scroll down on the FAQ page you shared you will find more information about the slot of the week competition and how to participate in it. Here is the relevant part to your question:
score points and try to get into the top 25 to… well, get free spins to this slot
Don't know about you guys, but I find the 50x wagering requirement a bit too much!
2359  Economy / Gambling / Re: Help setting up an online crypto casino on: April 29, 2022, 07:50:21 PM
It looks like some users think starting an online gambling business or launching a casino is as easy as buying a nulled script or higher a freelance developer to create the script, upload it to their server then magically start earning money!
The reality is way far from that. To make it simple, to own a successful crypto casino you need a lot of money and a big team which will be responsible for development, maintenance, marketing, customer support..
I believe OP realized that after reading the above replies so he decided to give up on the idea.
2360  Economy / Gambling / Re: Livecasino.io - 🔥 up to 15% cashback 🔥 up to 20% rakeback 🚨 on: April 29, 2022, 05:53:25 PM
I don't participate on there promo due to the fact that the games involved or the freebet reward is not available to my country. They should atleast convert the reward to freebet on one touch game instead.
This shouldn't be  a problem because according to the Livecasino.io - Promo #13 thread in the games and rounds sub-board, you may receive a different reward in case your country is restricted by the game provider:
Due to Game Providers country restrictions, some participants may have to receive a different, but equivalent, reward

What's am not certain about though is whether it's ok to deposit and wager 1mbtc before sending them a pm with our username or we must contact them first!
