The thing is why is people buying those accounts, to do what? Probably to scam, i mean theres not many other reasons you can think and i have seen people buying them for over 100$ depending on their trading status and feedback.
Scamming is one option that the buyers have in mind. Another thing for localbitcoin accounts is that reputable accounts will get their ad listed on the front page, which will attract for customers and generate faster profits, I guess.

go back to the year of 2009 and buy 10000bitcoins for 25cents each but in that case, how do you know that you buying those 10k bitcoins doesn't throw the entire future off . It most definitely will. I think if this actually happened, there would be a great chance that bitcoin would not have gone over a couple of dollars.

If you're looking to just make some quick profit, I would invest in very new altcoins (through mining, preferably) and HODL until they rise. You can make easy profit if you have a good eye on finding coins that will grow quickly.

If you have patience you will regain your loses.
How much patience..... are we talking 2 years or 20 years? 20years will make you a millionaire. 20 years id be 47, and id say why the hell would I hold these coins for so long. If anyone holds this long, much props to them. I could be dead before 47 due to natural causes etc. How? Bonk your head really hard with something, and forget about bitcoin. Write a message to yourself that will only be sent 20 years later (IDK, use technology) that you are still in possession of bitcoin. Done. I think in 20 years bitcoin will either be striving or dead. Very little chance of an in-between.

Hey, is anyone else having the problem where the SMS verification is delayed for around ~5 minutes before it is on your phone? Also, the text message contains the code but also a bunch of question marks. Is this a bug? It's been happening to me for the last month or so.
Odd. I'll pass it onto the team. You may enable Google Authenticator instead in your Profile. Thanks, I guess I'll do that for the time being. I haven't tried voice calls as for I don't know if my carrier will charge me extra. Here is an example of one of the delayed texts I've got (after requesting for the code to be resent 3 - 4 times): 0Z?????!Your confirmation code is: 644827?E?S? ?

What I'm trying to get at is I would get more at Hashnest with mining. Why pay for your mining if I dont get good returns.
Even at 16% - 40btc x 16% = 6.4btc per year. So my monthly is = 0.53 per month.
This is after investing for a whole year, and hoping that you guys dont run into any issues.
I could earn more @ hashnest with my funds. So what incentives do I get for putting my money with you guys?
Can you resell GHash with hashnest? With hashnest your principal is invested and not easily withdrawn, isn't it? Yes you can sell your GH/s anytime on the market. Market prices are also very stable and dont move much at the moment. At the moment. Wait a year and the prices will be so low, due to the introduction of better, and stronger miners. I'm wondering, why is the banking interest so high at 8%? How can you guarantee an interest that high??? Here in Canada, savings accounts offer interests of ~1%... The interest rate for the HaoBTC Bank is adjusted according to multiple variables, chief of them all our profitability and competitor offerings. It may drop to 1% one day (highly probable given the Bitcoin's diminishing return design ), but now we decide 8% is something that we can afford and makes us competitive enough. I notice that I get polarized responses when I ask people what do they think of our interest rate - they either think it is too high - so we must be running a Ponzi, or too low - that we are exploiting people and the risk is too much for the tiny gain. Well, the interest is unheard of for a "bank'. I'm wondering, how are you guys on legal terms with the Chinese government? It seems that you guys are a registered company but I can't read the Chinese text so... Could you please tell me what you guys are registered as (like, description of the company provided) Everything is sort of made up in the Bitcoin space. The currency is not a currency and a smart contract is not a contract, not the type you always thought you knew, at least. The same goes for our bank. We are definitely not registered as a bank, which would be near impossible in this environment. All China-based Bitcoin companies, HaoBTC included, were registered as general Internet technology companies. Alright, well I think I'll deposit some bitcoin in here (just to diversify my investments ). What do you do with the funds deposited by your clients, to generate more than 8% annual interest for the client while still retaining profit for yourselves? We operate a large mining facility that achieves high ROI by using cheap hydropower and other cost-control measures. For more detail: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1072474.0;allCool, I will be following your story there! But because this basically is a cloud mining service you are providing (without the stats, just payments with interest). Just to confirm, the interest for the bitcoin bank feature is subject to change at anytime, correct? Additionally, what will our deposited funds be used for? To expand the mining facility? To cover the fees and payments? I just don't see why you would need our money when you already have everything!

I will decide once we hit a reasonable thresh hold.
This is not some dump site, like most people are doing when they sell their company.
This company is GAINING completely auto pilot as we speak.
This website is setup in a way that it automatically grows itself with new unique users.
You should probably post this in the goods/digital goods section then, as for you're not really looking to auction your business, you're just looking for offers. I am looking to auction it. Ok here is a time frame. This website will be sold in the the next 3 days. If I see an offer I like in that time frame I'll take it. Start bidding. Did you read the stickied post? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=287020.0I would recommend mentioning a starting bid (that would be accepted), as well as a BIN price. If you are simply looking for offers, like I said, it isn't really an auction and would belong in the goods section of this forum.

Which is why I want to only do small escrows like under 5 dollars, for the time being. Once I get more trust like you said, I'm gonna start accepting bigger trades.
Thanks for your advice
That's not how it works. You need previous trades and experience and escrows should have earned their trust before they even start not build it as they go along. You could just do loads of small escrows at $5 then as soon as you get an amount you like the look of you take it and run and that's why reputation is important and can only be built over time. I agree with you. Am I allowed to keep this post here? I doubt anyone will let me escrow for the time being but, am I allowed to if i do? I'll probably get more rep on this forum and come back to this post and bump it or something. Thanks to everyone here! Yeah, feel free to do that. But I would recommend that you lock this topic until you feel that you are ready to provide escrow services again - just to prevent random spam other people might post.

$1800 available
What is the lowest amount of gift cards (in value) that you can sell, and for how much? Edit: yeah, I see there is an option to claim real cash from the rewards points. Why not just do that?
