Damn, this could be the first of many fights that will be postponed due to this new COVID-19 variant. I think the fight between Murata and GGG will also be postponed and the Inoue defense might as well be held early next year. I knew that this is only temporary but I'm hoping that those fights involving popular boxers must be held in the US. |

I agree with you, Devin Haney has not won via KO for a long time now lol. Against an aging Gamboa, he has a hard time disposing of the latter, seems to me that he can't KO Diaz either. They will always be a farm team no matter what they do or how they fare against some teams in a tune-up game. Casio is in the twilight of his career and he can't be relied on to lead a team to the quarterfinals at least. These farm teams are the ones that bring the PBA down but seem they are mum about it, maybe because of the amount of money involved, hope this will change in the near future. facts! this team will continue to be like that a farm team that will always in the lowest part of the standing. I just want to see them win. It's been a long time since they experienced that win to the point that I'm tired of doing research to know when it was happened. If they will continue to be like this, the interest in PBA is also affected by knowing that the competitions when this team is competing is not valuable to pay or just a waste of time. For farm teams like Blackwater, they just stayed in the league for purely business, aiming for the championship is not the objective. Tune-up games is not a gauge on how good your team is because some of the opposing players will not give their all. Paul Butler's 33-2 record is impressive but the problem for him is the quality of opponents he had faced. Only Emmanuel Rodriguez and Solane Tete are popular (at least to the boxing world) and he losses to both of them. While Casimero has fought battles all over the world and never loses one, this might be his advantage over Butler IMO. Some bookies have already the odds, Casimero 1.03, Butler 9.40. A very huge underdog, I will be waiting for more options as there will be some in the next few days before the fight. |

I guess only C Stand and Pringle are the new faces of the team that Brownlee has not played with before. However, IIRC, Brownlee, and C Stand are teammates in Alab Pilipinas before, or rival? So these two meet and know each other hopefully, so let's hope that bond will be stronger as they play for the first time on the same team in the PBA.
They are rivals, Brownlee played for the Philippines while C-Stan played for Hongkong if I'm not mistaken. The bright side for Ginebra when Brownlee is around is that C-Stan may not need to score heavily as Brownlee will do that for them and he is also a willing passer so this will make C-Stan play inspired basketball. So, we can bet for the PBA again next week, hope everything will be fine during the opening, and also hope that IATF will allow vaccinated spectators to watch the games live even half the stadium capacity. |

Hope that during rematch Kambosos would make an early finish. I am so negative against Lopez, because after he won a title, he started to walk with his nose being high, claiming he is the greatest. Looking down on other fighters. The only fighters I allow to act like jerk and look down on others is Naseem Hamed. But that was his style IRL  It was ported here that no rematch are going to happen because Lopez is moving up in weight. IMO, even if Lopez stays in his current division, he doesn't deserve a rematch. Give him a toast of his own medicine, he didn't give Loma a deserved rematch so Kambosos should also not give him that. So arrogant that he didn't accept the fact that Kambosos was a better fighter than him that night. Josh Taylor vs Lopez is a good fight but he may have a hard time campaigning on that division as the former is bigger and hit much harder than most of the lightweights he faced before. |

^^ Recently, we have huge upset when Kambosos knock down Teo Lopez and then won on decision. I do hope that Casimero won't suffer the same fate though, just saying. We all know that Casimero has all the advantage here specially in power department but he shouldn't be overconfident in this fight as he needs to win his mandatory and move on next year with a big unification with Inoue.
The good thing about Casimero is that he doesn't underestimate his opponents though he talked trash that's just part of selling the fight. Anything can happen inside the ring as it boils down to who wants to win more and train hard for it and Casimero knows this, that is why he is preparing fr this fight like there's no tomorrow. We have witnessed many exciting fights over the few weeks, I hope this fight should be the same. |

Damn! Kambosos's big punch really hurt Lopez, bloody on his nose and left eye. I thought after round 10 when Kambosos knocked down he doesn't have the legs anymore, but he can recovered quickly and fight like in prime conditions. This upset is very unexpected for me, congratulations for people who bet Kambosos via decision. 18.00x odds is very high That Lopez win against Loma was a fluke, that's what I believe for a long time (it's just me) and going to this fight, Kambosos have a great chance of dethroning the champ because of experience factor. Loma was the biggest name Lopez have faced in his young career if not for that injury (to be debated) the outcome might have been different . That overhead right did damage for Kambosos and Lopez has not adjusted throughout the fight.   |
