I need to write a program to power-cycle my Avalon when it hasn't submitted a share after X number of seconds. I can easily scrape the dashboard but I was wondering if there was a less silly way to get this information.
will this be open source? (and run on lucy...)  |

Q: Which AMD SDK is the best for cgminer?
A: At the moment, versions 2.4 and 2.5 work the best for R5xxx and R6xxx GPUS.
SDK 2.6 or 2.7 works best for R7xxx. SDK 2.8 is known to have many problems.
If you are need to use the 2.6+ SDK or R7xxx or later, the phatk kernel will
perform poorly, while the diablo or my custom modified poclbm kernel are
optimised for it.

Use cable. Rub out the antenna so you will never be able to switch to WiFi ever again unfortunately it is not possible with cable due to room layout... |

Avalon is connected with WiFi on router I see Received Packets Sent Packets
7489 5195 and the number of Packets changes (means for me that I am connected) nevertheless sometimes I cannot connect to Luci and cgminer does not automatically restart only a cold reboot helps  any hints? TIA |

Beschäftige mich derzeit mit dem aidoATp in java.
Den bekomme ich unter gox allerdings überhaupt nicht zum laufen und unter btc-e nur im simulations Modus. Immerhin, dort erzielt er theoretisch ein paar Prozent je nach setup.
der geht nicht mehr (gox) und bei mir heute (btc-e) erstmals überhaupt nur ansatzweise (= nicht wirklich, ist bis dato sofort abgestürzt) als er bei gox noch ging hatte ich in 2-3 Wochen leichten Verlust (mit verschiedenen Einstellungen, die sich gravierend auswirken können ) |

jeh! works great! since yesterday my avalon is pluged in one of those is there a build in (or to make it in software) watchdog if the current is under a certain level to resetting the power outlet? |

You can try what I did, check your connection to the pool or try another pool.
Maybe pull the plug from your router for 10 seconds ?
Also I changed from wired to wifi and I flashed back to 20130410.
I think my unit did not perform well because of a bad connection, either on my side or the pool's side.
I am on more then one pool and at all was the same (with Avalon; - 1 GPU stays connected)    as you correctly said, I have had to cold reboot the router too (connected with wifi)... |

notable is that no restart or stop/start of cgminer aided and today a cold reboot of Avalon neither...
only a cold reboot of Avalon AND the router (TL-MR3420 with latest firmware)

nearly every day Avalon stops for a long time; - if I can see something I see Socket connect failed: Connection refused
