If we could achieve this far from the general adoption given on bitcoin then within a couple of years to come bitcoin could have gone beyond the imagination of the people especially government, by then they would have no option than to follow the desire of the people for a decentralized network, there's no uncertainty in this because bitcoin has already emerged a successful currency worth international standard and everyone want to use it.
2345  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Hunger and insecurity on: March 31, 2023, 03:56:33 PM
There is this saying a hungry man is an angry man.

You're right about what you just said, if a child is hungry, he may be tempted to steal, if we want to tackle insecurities in the society today, then we have to begin with the consideration of the less privilege first, the poor and the needy, we need to create an avenue for several opportunities for the people to participate in one enterprise or the other, the government and individuals make take it a determination in helping others in need, these people got frustrated and were left with no option than to partake in illegal measn for a living sustainability, but that shouldn't be an excuse although, we all take full responsibility for how we lived our life.
2346  Economy / Economics / Re: less risk or big profit? on: March 31, 2023, 03:43:19 PM
Anyone ready to take a high risk will have more probability of getting more profits because from general view, people believe the higher the risk the more the profits, but there are some risk that shouldn't be taken especially when it's too risky all because of looking for money, some don't mind getting a high loan, risk their life or engage on shady and dangerous activities to ensure they get money by all means.
2347  Economy / Economics / Re: Money as a store of value... on: March 31, 2023, 03:12:18 PM
Money is not regarded as a store of value anymore except if you're holding it in a digital form of cryptocurrency and bitcoin to say, why is because anything you can posses to loose value over time isn't a good form of an asset anymore, it's can be referred to a liability because with time the same amount of money you might have hodl may not be sufficient enough in paying your bills, but holding bitcoin has it profitability over time than loosing it's value.

2349  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing against 2024 on: March 30, 2023, 09:27:49 AM
As 2023 is going to be a tremendous year, and the elite are working towards the new world order whereby new digital currency will be introduced.

Did you just said a new digital currency will be introduced? or had been introduced already which is bitcoin, go to the internet and find the most search word on it to be bitcoin, people were investing, and learning about the new digital technology of handling finances because it's safe and secured, decentralized and private.

If btc happens not to be part of that agenda, so will investing into btc against 2024 a wise decision?

There's not any work or research done or in progress for now aside the massive adoption of bitcoin allover the world, not yet has there been any offer than bitcoin and you can't include altcoins newly introduced as part of recognized digital currency becau most are fake projects or shitcoins, therefore, it will be a very wise decision to invest on bitcoin for now and hodl against the 2024 bullrun which is the target.
2350  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador has become the first country to make #Bitcoin legal tender! 🇸🇻 on: March 30, 2023, 09:09:00 AM
Nayib Bukele creatively invites you to move to El Salvador, while naming such advantages as "the lowest crime rate in America, no shootings and robberies, excellent coffee, beaches and weather", it seems to me that he exaggerates about the low crime rate, because recently the largest prison in America for 40k prisoners was opened in El Salvador.

I've also come across this news recently, but establishing a 40,000 maximum capacity prison in El-Savador does not mean there have not been a reduced crime rate in El-Savador, i want to believe nit would have been a long term plan that had been in place when things aren't good enough before the total turnaround we bow had with El-Savador in terms of crime rate, just take it as a long time plan that probably had undergone through a MoU that such should be sited in El-Savador for some reasons that may not be clear to us as the public, with that yet El-Savador is well conducive for a good living now because tourist wouldn't have wanted to visit the country if the crime rate hadn't been dealt with, the Bukele administrative knows what it planned when they make everyone enjoy both fiat and bitcoin currency for payment while including every other bitcoin attracting developments in the country to boost it economy, no more violence as before in El-Savador because bitcoin has help reduced many means liable for citizens to partake in such.

2353  Economy / Economics / Re: Is some certain lifestyle a waste of money and time ? on: March 28, 2023, 10:41:39 AM
Any life you have lived and you can't give it to your children to live that same pattern of lifestyle is as good as nothing but a waste of time, also anything you will do and later regret your actions taken is also a perfect means to waste time, the last one is the worst here, any kind of life you will live and it affects your physical or mental accuracy and well-being is a total waste of time and money, you know some bad things you always do and your inner conscience always fighting you against doing those things, yet because of the pleasure you finds in them you keeping repeating them, all were nothing but a waste of time and resources.
2354  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do you describe bitcoin to a newbie? on: March 28, 2023, 10:21:44 AM
Can somebody assist me in anyway?
Away from all those terminologies and jargons concerning Bitcoin, I like to explain it the simplest way I can to newbies as two things – legal tender and (2) an asset. Those who understand buying and selling will easily catch up with that. I don't like being highly technical when teaching anyone Bitcoin because it can be confusing and exhausting for the learner and then make them lose interest.

In addition to this, bitcoin is just a digital form of money you can spend, it is decentralized, it's not fiat or cbdc, bitcoin is a cryptocurrency, you can exchange your fiat to bitcoin on exchanges via p2p network, you can make your bitcoin serves as your profitable investment by holding it in your decentralized wallet and ultimately know that bitcoin is volatile, which means it's price is not fix, it can rise and fall, and you can't loose your entire asset at this cause, finally know that bitcoin is not a ponzi scheme where you get rich quick and loose everything as well.
2355  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador has become the first country to make #Bitcoin legal tender! 🇸🇻 on: March 28, 2023, 10:03:51 AM
https://watcher.guru/news/el-salvador-president-to-eliminate-all-taxes-on-technology-innovations
In a recent tweet, Bukele notes that all taxes, including income, property, and capital gains, as well as import tariffs, will be eliminated. Additionally, this hasn’t come to fruition yet. The President said that he will be sending a bill to Congress next week.

Furthermore, the President notes that “technology innovations” will include AI development, coding, and apps, among others. Elaborating on the same, Bukele tweeted,
We could see that when other countries where busy struggling with the payment of tax Nayib Bukele us making an alternative to make life easy for the people just as in the case of petroleum resource subsidy, the government is saddled with the responsibility to carter for the immediate needs of the society in arras that needed more attention with urgency, payment of tax isn't the only IGR the government has, infact it should be the reason why they should deliver upto expectation because much is given to them through these means and so it's expected of them in giving it back to the community development, with bitcoin adoption, El-Savador is changing alot of things that has turn to custom and norms in the government setting and putting them in place through reorganization of the settings and bitcoin is the eye opener and the game changer.

I am not going to disagree with you completely Doan9269; however, I doubt that a government is in the business to be benevolent and charitable, and in that regard, governments cannot carry out their purposes through voluntary measures - even though there are likely ways that governments can generate income without strictly taxing various sectors - which seems to be part of El Salvador's attempted direction that is aimed towards ongoing attempts to attract technological innovations and developments into El Salvador.

I guess we are all on thesame track in this, the government need to make things at every affordability make readily available for the people to enjoy especially the masses, well, as regards the tax of a thing that is ongoing, we could see how other countries were so strict in collecting tax from bitcoin miners or any organizations well identified with bitcoin and i have to take USA and India as a xase study in these, they just don't take it easy when it comes to paying tax despite they are bitcoin friendly countries, let's consider El-Savador and the kind of leadership Nayib Bukele has established with the people, he has always assumed himself been in their shoes before making any declaration of policy as a leader.

Other interest earning organizations can be taxed because they were in for business but the people should be the major target, these are the common citizens that have no much access to afford paying tax from their income, the government of El-Savador is trying to give out to them first, so that everyone can be well established by improving the standard of living before demanding anything like tax related obligations from the citizens.

My fear is always the same: that these "crypto-friendly" countries will sooner or later be forced to backtrack. Global finance is worse than the Mafia, and does gold business with governments: any country that breaks away from their system and their rules is a potential enemy.

I have my doubts about whether the term "crypto-friendly" is appropriate.

Start out by thinking about El Salvador is intending to be bitcoin friendly, and so the fact that it is "bitcoin friendly" then do you conclude that it is automatically "crypto-friendly?"

Obviously no, El-Savador is well known for bitcoin and that only, everything it has been engaging were on the platform of the adoption through bitcoin in other for the people to have a better experience in using this digital currency, you can imagine a centralized government taking much effort towards implementing a rigorous stand for a decentralized network, this shows that bitcoin is not only Nayib Bukele priority and center of focus but the entire people also needs it for them to enjoy decentralization under a centralized government, and they cant compromise this with alts.
2356  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Possible things that gives beginners problems on: March 27, 2023, 10:24:35 AM
All you've listed, plagiarism is the quickest means to end a career in bitcointalk because you will immediately get a permanent banned as soon as it been discovered, paraphrasing also has a purnishable offence but if lucky it may not be a permanent ban, instead a temporary one but a continuous process will eventually landed you on same track of doing plagiarism, other ones does not give ban, if you spam your post will likely end been deleted, if you scam you may be lucky to remain here because spam isn't moderated but spamming is, but the good is to always abstain oneself from all the above bad mannered attitudes.
2357  Economy / Economics / Re: Money hardly come this days! Why? on: March 27, 2023, 09:55:07 AM
I don't understand why things are so unspeakably hard to people. I couldn't hard a good feelings for some days after thinking of what must have trans-led this suffering of financial hardship in societies. Money is rare this days, am going through a lot but I just hope things well and better soon. Is not really funny here.

Money is not scarce neither does it went extinct in the country you may be, the government may only reduce the availability of excess cash for the benefits of abuse on bulkiness believed to be used for illegal activities, if you're trying hard and seeing less then change the approach you're using and reoriente yourself.

My children are at home chase from school, I could not pay fees again. What could be the cause of scarcity of cash?

You need to take responsibility of the children because they don't want to know how good or bad the economy is, all that sinks to their heads is that they are having a father who should be able to take care of their needs, try give attempts on new opportunities and work harder, if it will take you engaging on menial jobs to earn a living and carter for the family, why not give a try
2358  Economy / Economics / Re: What's is daily budgets or expenses as a bitcoiner? on: March 27, 2023, 09:38:54 AM
I know everybody is not in a same class but still we all do budgeting, expenses and impulse. How much do spend a day? Do you think is possible to program your daily expenses?

Yes and it's very possible to plan a budget for daily expenses, as for me i don't do daily budget for my expenses but rather a plan on a monthly basis, this helps me to choose between the needs and wants  have for the month and designated a particular amount of money for the whole needs on my to do list and am done for the entire month, though i do have extra additional funds as miscellaneous for daily unforeseen circumstances.
2359  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Don't rush life.. on: March 25, 2023, 03:28:59 PM
This life is to be taken with ease and not rushing while in pursuit of achieving anything, there's no shortcut in making it in life as everything about this life has protocols on time and season, everyone is placed with the same opportunity to make it in life only if we can discover such potential in us and work towards it in creating values others will appreciate and accept, and we must not watch others progress in other not to get us discouraged or rush as well about making it in life.
2360  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Network Fee Confusion on: March 25, 2023, 03:17:35 PM
OP the fault is from your end because if you're billed to pay $50 in btc and you never add the transaction fee from your own end it will definitely be a lapse, because you imputing only $50 worth amount of btc signifies that the charges should be made on the same amount of which before sending the transaction you must have been informed of the charges, now who do you want to take responsibility for the charges because on your end you're sending $50 in btc but they are receiving about $49 point from their end.
