2341  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Leaving your coins on exchanges on: October 20, 2022, 04:28:05 PM
I think the only way to keep our assets safe is to store them in a wallet with their own private key instead of storing them on the exchange unless it's a day trade then they have to store it on the exchange so they don't keep depositing/withdrawing so I think it's an option for them as trader.
But since I'm not a day trader so I don't keep assets on the exchange for a long time this would be risky too except when it's necessary to make some trades with coins then I make the required deposits.

But do big and well-known exchanges provide insurance to users if their exchange gets hacked? We will still get the whole asset right?
2342  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: October 20, 2022, 03:26:33 PM
Not Bruno Fernandes, but Hugo Lloris who deserves the player of the match in the Manchester United vs Tottenham Hotspur match in my opinion.
Winning 2-0 makes Manchester United look like trending in this thread.

It's true, Man United's victory added a record three times to beat Spurs in a row.
I hope that Manchester United players will not be too long in the euphoria of victory, because next week Manchester United will be awaited by another London club, namely Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Graham Potter did not use Aubameyang during a draw at West Ham United. That's a sign Potter wants to prepare former Arsenal players in a fit condition to welcome Manchester United on 22 Oct.
Hugo Lloris kept so many clean sheets but it still had to concede two goals because of Man United's extraordinary skills that it couldn't stop how Hugo Lloris could withstand all attacks from Man United, but indeed Bruno Fernandes was dominant and Fred also played quite efficiently because A strong midfield made the Man United squad more confident with all attacks on Tottenham.

They need to be mentally prepared because Chelsea is a formidable opponent even now under Potter Chelsea still can't lose, meaning Chelsea are in a strong position to beat so Man United can be more aggressive against them.
2343  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Happens to Our Bitcoin and Other Assets If We Die? on: October 19, 2022, 07:04:13 PM
The challenge is that unlike Fiat that is kept in the bank, cryptocurrency holders usually do not reveal their key phrase, so it becomes difficult to transfer the assets to a next of kin.

Another thing is that some country do not approve of cryptocurrency meaning you can't store your phrase with the bank.
This means that you must be ready to have a solution so that your assets can be transferred if you die later. I mean you have to prepare everything just like you prepare inheritance for your children and family. In bitcoin you may find it easy to do so if you trust one of the nuclear family members, but if not then there are many other solutions that you need to learn so that your assets will be useful for your family in the future.

Have a backup of your wallet and give it to your family that you really trust. But if you mind, then I think you can give it some or in any way you might prefer. Inheriting your assets to your family is important, especially if you care about them because whoever we are will surely die.
Of course this must be planned further about how to transfer assets to our heirs when we die, as I have said in my post, that the private key will not be given to anyone including my family but I will still teach them to know about this so I won't complicate them when I'm not around, just pointing to a place where we store it and that's what we're told while my private key remains secret.

This has to be concerned but I think what is planned must be different, but what is certain is that telling the heirs, especially our children, is important, so basically they want to save wherever they have to be for the plan.
2344  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: October 19, 2022, 05:26:49 PM
Liverpool are playing a home game against West Ham today and this is an opportunity to maintain a winning streak at the same time.

I really liked Liverpool's performance in the Manchester City game and it made me hopeful about their recovery. But they need to continue to win to prove this. West Ham are one of the disappointing teams of the season so far. They are far away from their last season performance. However Liverpool still had better be careful because West Ham got two wins recently and didn't lose for three weeks. Maybe this could be a sign of a recovery for them as well. But despite that, I still believe in Liverpool to defeat them tonight.
Of course this is an opportunity to move up the standings if Liverpool win away from home, can they enter the top 5 of the Premier League standings past several other teams, obviously with last week's victory can make the Liverpool squad more confident while injured players in my opinion Klopp can still manage with a few of his players, West Ham are sometimes more difficult the season they don't excite but with Liverpool's performance like last week I believe this could be their win away.
Another chance for Liverpool to go further.

Are you a Manchester United fan? If so, I hope you will have fun today.  Wink

After the most humiliating defeat to Tottenham in the 2020/2021 season with a score of 1-6, Manchester United has not been beaten by Tottenham until now. This good record should be something that can make Manchester United worth fighting for maximum points in today's match, and I think Manchester United will probably do it.
Man United should be able to have another good meeting with Tottenham although this will be a little different but in my opinion Man United still deserves to win it even though we know Tottenham are still above Man United, it will be a different story if Ten Hag's men win, Arsenal was beaten, Man City couldn't be beaten by Man United but will Spurs be beaten again? What's interesting is that Man United fans will definitely be positive on Man United's game tonight.
Erik Ten Hag will definitely have a different scheme when making his debut with a big team.
2345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: That's why I really like bitcoin :) on: October 19, 2022, 04:05:54 PM
Physical currencies too have the similar features. Over time everything have well advanced. Bitcoin wallet serves as one's own bank, because it is you who can control it. Banks are different, and OP have mentioned it just to indicate the reason that attracts.
Of course, there will be some similarities between fiats and Bitcoin, but I must say that Bitcoin is more advantageous and makes you feel that you truly own the coin you possess. Fiat has cheated us a lot, and the large difference in usage of the most popular payment system between countries irritates me. But with Bitcoin, the owner has the absolute right and would be able to pay and enjoy being paid as long as the dealer allows the coin.

In other words, with BTC, you can do payments that the best countries in the world could do with the same rights, unlike fiats in which they discriminate.
That's the advantage of Bitcoin because we ourselves control it and the value can rise over time in the future, Fiat is still money which in my opinion is more destitute because there are many things that we can't control in terms of our party influencing it in value, sometimes payments the system has a bit of complexity, although it is not as easy as Bitcoin which is used easily and quickly.

Now that there are many popular countries that accept payments with Bitcoin, it is an convenience for us when traveling abroad to visit the country, for example, there is no need to exchange fiat into their currency, but with Bitcoin, we just need a QR which is simpler, I imagine if this is all the world to apply it maybe they will have no trouble.

Honestly it's been a lot of fun and I'm grateful that so many people have helped me during this time. I also want to thank everyone who has helped me rank up so far, I can't mention them one by one but every one of you reading this post then rest assured I am very grateful to you.
@indah rezqi I'm happy to see you rank up to Hero in such a short amount of time and it was a journey full of excitement but today is the peak where you rank up so congrats on that.

I think this is a motivation for anyone including myself, to be able to rank up at any time as long as we are better for the forum, and I also see that some of the members above are getting close to Hero rank. I also hope that they can achieve it. Wink
2347  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Altcoins? on: October 17, 2022, 06:33:40 PM
Altcoins are not good to hold for long time because altcoin can buy off you in the process of holding it so if actually you want to work on for a long time the best country is Bitcoin because bitcoin cannot buy and the value can only depreciate but when bullish market come bitcoin rise again but some altcoins there project just end on the way so it is not good for someone to buy altcoin and hold for long time

I will partially disagree, btc no doubt is the best coin to hold but there is nothing wrong with little diversification of your portfolio with a few good alts. I don't need to go in details about alts like eth, bnb, sol, dot, ada, avax, ltc, egld, and so on are alts which am pretty sure still trading above the price they where initially launched! and not only that most of these alts have been around for some years now and still going strong, the perception that alts are not good for long term mostly applies to shitcoins that have no significant beside pump and dump. Those type of alts are not able to recover even when the bull market season occurs.  so if there are alts that shows some element of potential, i feel it is worth a try.

As long as an altcoin with a top 10 rating maybe it can be reconsidered by everyone, I still haven't done that myself and it's all on Bitcoin as one of the ones in my wallet, so every coin has a good prospect if they are able to last more as long as with top ranking but the rest is below that I will not glance back.
The fact that altcoins are still a lot of interest because the pump is always big, while it is different from Bitcoin which is slow with it, but as for other differences, I myself Bitcoin is the only coin to choose.
2348  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Threat lies in every corner while investing in crypto (a must read for newbies) on: October 17, 2022, 05:00:31 PM
Right, don't be too trusting in new projects even though they have raised millions of dollars in sales and the total supply is small, those other partnerships really don't guarantee to be more successful in staying in the market they are just trying to take advantage when people are interested in investing in new projects but in reality we will lose if we invest in the project.

For me, stick to Bitcoin being one of the safest coins and it won't fall as badly as other coins, even though you already believe in the new project bringing the idea but remember it's all just what they planned so there's no guarantee in it. that, I don't even believe in it at all.

Bitcoin is a coin to be HODLed for all time.
2349  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you be influenced by your favourite celebrity? on: October 17, 2022, 04:09:15 PM
I will not be influenced by any celebrity even though they have placed bigger bets of course I can't follow in large or small amounts of money but I already have my own predictions with the research that has been done before placing a bet.
Maybe for those whose followers will try what is at stake but for me it doesn't pass, whoever celebrity is a favorite but I will not follow his influence.

For me, betting is an absolute freedom that is my right, but in general, betting is luck, but I prefer to do it myself instead of following other people's bets.
2350  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: October 17, 2022, 03:29:54 PM
We have seen Manchester City this much desperate for the first time after a long break. They had some important opportunities to score actually with Haaland but Alisson didn't let him score thanks to his impressive saves. There was something wrong with their defense in this match also. They left big spaces in defense before and after the goal. Maybe I can understand the after but it is hard to get the other one. Salah was so comfortable on the front and scored a goal.

There was really some improvement in Liverpool defense as they managed to stay solid against Manchester City attackers mostly. They need van Dijk to continue playing strong from now on as he is the mainstay of the defense line. Maybe it is too difficult for them to enter the title race but they don't have anything to lose now. They must push hard after this critical win.
This is a very painful defeat, especially for Manchester City supporters, even though there are many opportunities that will be scored by Manchester City players but Liverpool's defense is solid enough that it is difficult to penetrate despite several attacks by Haaland and his friends, but that's how Manchester City focus attacking, of course the defense is not noticed how strong it is and Salah took advantage of the opponent's own situation and managed to get past it by becoming a goal so it was a bit of a mistake for the Manchester City defender who was too focused on attacking.

Indeed Liverpool are still quite far from competing for the title race, the only thing they have to improve every game so that points can get closer, but the reality is that the Premier League is more difficult to predict.
2351  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trading on: October 17, 2022, 02:42:01 PM
Even trading professionals fail and have losses in trading. The volatility of the market is unpredictable and not all analysis is accurate. We can't always rely on professionals because no one could predict the prices accurately with consistently. Applying the basics during confusion would be better than seeking for expert's opinion, especially during this bearish season.
professional traders, expert traders that will not be a guarantee that you will not get a loss, especially when the bearish season comes. but the difference is only in the losses that are obtained if a professional trader the losses that can be obtained will not exceed the specified limit. but a beginner sometimes the losses they get exceed the limit of almost 90%.
and in terms of profit, it is also different because professional traders use detailed analysis and novice traders use analysis as best they can without detailed knowledge.
but it's all down to luck
Basically, skills must be needed in daily trading not only for a professional but they can prevent a very large risk because they have set management in trading and of course a beginner and a professional will be different in acting so this will not be the same even though following some suggestions and the material he was given.
I think trading is not just luck, but they analyze with very precise timing, meaning that every time you enter or sell you will know the time that has been set, even though only a few percent are made in that profit, so skills are very important for professionals and beginners.
2352  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New Youtube Scam in Action on: October 17, 2022, 01:33:44 PM
Who the heck is John Bitcoin anyway?

If I can recall correctly, there was also a fake Binance channel with 500k subs in Youtube back then but it was a giveaway and a VOD of previous stream was only playing making it look like a real live stream. Not sure how much was scammed though. I might have watched some tutorials for day trading in crypto from some Youtubers like Crypto Jack, but I would never find myself clicking whatever links that they are going to provide.

Even if Mr. Beast even did one of those, I would never.  Cheesy
I did a search on Youtube about John Bitcoin it's nothing famous, maybe just a new Youtube that just posted its phishing site in the description by putting a link to the scam.

Actually a lot happens to famous Youtube channels that promote scam sites under the pretext they will refund double after deposit, and scamers try to hack famous Youtube channel in Bitcoin and after getting it will LIVE streaming full 24hours, for me this is already know classic scam but some of them may still be tricked.

Yeah, any suspicious links shouldn't be clicked.
2353  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: October 16, 2022, 07:49:25 PM
That was to be expected if we see the recent form of Barcelona in Champions League where they are not excelling and in fact they are suffering a lot in the Champions League that they are now most probably out of it to the Europa League as a downgrade.

Real Madrid when playing at home is always the favorite even in times when they are not performing that well in the La Liga let alone nowadays where they are enjoying perfect form both in La Liga and in the Champions League.Barcelona did impose their game as the stats are better for Barcelona in this game but Real Madrid were more pragmatic when it comes to scoring goals.Nevertheless the La Liga will be fought between these two teams this year as the points difference is small at just 3 points.
Barcelona in reality is not ready to become a mighty team but we can see from the Champions League that they can't improve the quality of their game only in the end they have to be conquered by Bayern Munich and Inter Milan and this is a fact that must be accepted that Barcelona will move to the Europa League caste again.

Real Madrid are still solid enough that they are hard to beat and now lead LaLiga by eliminating Barcelona at the Bernabeu, is it because the quality of Xavi Hernandes' strategy is still not good enough even though their players can be said to be talented, indeed I point to Xavi who is still immature in this regard although in LaLiga has become a tough competitor to Real Madrid but in other big matches Xavi still can't win it.
2354  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why DCA Strategy on: October 16, 2022, 04:31:42 PM
The DCA strategy is a very simple practice for me to invest long term in Bitcoin. I always plan in a bear market because I take advantage of a good situation for this opportunity, regarding financial management it must be considered because I always spend money on investing in this DCA strategy every time. weekly with an allocation of $50/$100 depending on how I can make other money but I always try in this practice to always be effective in long-term Bitcoin accumulation, this is quite simple but it takes patience and also good money management.
2355  Economy / Economics / Re: Global recession alarm, safe money on: October 15, 2022, 07:11:29 PM
I will not withdraw my investment during the current recession due to prolonged inflation of course this is a threat to us but for me we must be able to face it calmly and not tense.

I will take a better step and buy something more valuable and stable for the long term, buy land, gold, property, that's one of them and still I have to have spare funds to face the reality later in the event of the most severe crisis at least the funds The reserve can supplement in our life for its needs and investment is not compromised.

Bitcoin is also still very feasible to be made a long-term investment in this recession, I don't think about other news that corners Bitcoin but for sure I will hold Bitcoin as an investment that has become safe for me.
2356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: October 15, 2022, 06:24:54 PM
I'm not interested in that, my brother. They could be beaten not by Liverpool, but on the pitch, they could be humiliated by a team that will be relegated.
Why don't you think Manchester City can be beaten by Liverpool, does Liverpool look very weak compared to Manchester City for every meeting? This is the most prestigious match between the two teams, it will not be good to see one weak even if Liverpool are 11th now with 8 games.

Liverpool will be playing at home tomorrow so I wish them all the best. I will be very disappointed if Liverpool lose, but I am aware that the probability of Liverpool winning will be low compared to Manchester City.
Obviously Liverpool will not be weak as we saw being in 11th standings but they can improve tomorrow it will be better I believe this game will be equal even though they are not competing on points, so for me Liverpool can beat Manchester City they have great players too in the sense of the ability of his squad is still quite balanced IMO.

Of course this match will definitely be prestigious and Liverpool are still confident with the current situation even though some say the dominance of the game will lose to Manchester City, if for me this is a difficult match Jurgen Klopp's troops could come back and win it, this might happen.

For me losing is normal but Liverpool will definitely fight for points at home.
2357  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another opportunity is coming, a time to hold on: October 15, 2022, 05:50:55 PM
Data surveys will never be accurate, that's just according to them in their research, so it's true that maybe some have done it without having to notify the government they can do it anytime without having to get approval because buying Bitcoin is our right to buy at any time, so for me with this news it's pretty good too that Canadians have increased buying Bitcoin 30% of that data I know whereas in other countries are doing the same so they are really ready for this once every 4 year cycle.

Isn't a bear market a great opportunity for the brave? And well, some of them are strong enough to hold Bitcoin longer at least until 2025 as the year the Bitcoin price is predicted to be high it will be the next cycle, it's not surprising that many are buying at this time with the existing surveys, so investing must be a lot who do now.

One word HODL to Bullrun.  Cool
2358  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you name your child after a crypto?? on: October 15, 2022, 04:47:55 PM
"John Ether" Maybe the name that will be on my mind someday if I have a son.  Grin
There's no philosophy but this leads to Ethereum.

Names are very sacred so of course they will give the best names for their children, as for other crypto names that want to be folded in their love there are also those who don't want to use it.

I myself have not thought about this too deeply but in my mind there is already a name, this needs my wife's approval in the future, so there are good names with crypto elements.
2359  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: October 14, 2022, 04:31:29 PM
Not really surprise with Barcelona have eliminated early because last season facing the same problem can't reach to knock out group after failure in the same group with Bayern Munich and Benfica success lead to next round. Again not lucky for Barcelona in this season have the same group with Bayern and Inter Milan, loss head to head from Inter have almost close chance to qualify on next round. Two weeks later match between Inter vs Victoria Plzen is another helped for Barcelona if Inter fail to win but Barcelona need to win from Bayern.

Not easy hope at other games actually with Plzen have bad record in Champion League loss in four games, I think could focus on domestic league for Barcelona because can't talk more at champion league exactly in group stage.
It's hard to believe if Barcelona finally failed to qualify for the next round in the Champions League this season, the expectations for them were too high but unfortunately the challenges they faced from the group stage were too strong. I don't like them failing, but what can I do if that is the result of their performance this season.

But of course it's not over yet considering there are two decisive matches for Inter and Barcelona to qualify for the next round. Barcelona may be able to beat Plzen, but of course it is difficult to beat Bayern Munich. But anything can happen, it wouldn't be a coincidence if Barcelona really fought for a place.
Indeed it's a fact they will fail if Inter Milan win the match against Viktoria Plzen there is no denying that Barcelona's expectations are not too met despite having brought in several players including Lewandowski and Rafinda as strikers who are always proud of it but they are more difficult in the Champions League and in the end will be defeated too.

There are other rumors that I know but this is not necessarily true, if Xavi fails to win the match in El Clasico and Champions League with Bayern Munich then Xavi will be threatened as his coach, but in my opinion it is not sure to happen because in LaLiga Xavi has proven that Barcelona are at their best it's just that in the Champions League the less fortunate.
2360  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Altcoins? on: October 14, 2022, 03:36:59 PM
What we know is that altcoins provide quite large profits in multiples, especially during the altcoin season (most people say) I know you will be tempted by the rapid increase in altcoins between 10x-100x but if you have entered then big risks will await you usually altcoins will be thrown away 90% of the market price which suffers a lot but I say altcoins will not give profits all the time and Bitcoin is better as a good tool where this one coin becomes long term stability.

It doesn't matter if you choose it too and convert it to altcoin it's your responsibility to make an even more valuable experience in altcoin, but I always remind altcoins will still be shitcoins that's my view and no longer in my portfolio.

I am more comfortable with the practice of DCA and Buy Dips, this is my solution to prevent from going to altcoins again, I see what I felt before focusing more on Bitcoin.
