with this result, Real Sociedad is winning 4 consecutive games and managed to stay in 4th place, this is a good thing for Real Sociedad if they manage to stay that way until the end of the season then they could go to the champions league

Real Sociedad continue their winning streak. With today's win, they have won four matches in a row. Able to perform well in both Europa League and La Liga. Sociedad is now fourth in the table. If Real Sociedad can maintain this consistency of performance then they can qualify for the Champions League. As teams like Atletico Madrid, Real Betis and Villarreal are not playing well consistently. So Real Sociedad has a good chance of qualifying for the Champions League.

Time for an underdog winner in La Liga maybe?

I wrote in the old thread that I believe Atletico Madrid will open the league in superb form and take 1st position. I am seeing them as winter champions and then it will be a question if they are able to keep it when Barca and/or Real start playing better in few months time. We could have a very interesting league this season.

Anyway, Trofo put me up there for Real...  Just cos I like Hazard.  Too bad he's injured tho.  He won't play for a month or so.

Done and little birdie just told me that Neymar is coming to Real. I really don't know what is in that guy head. You can't spend all summer talking about Barca and then leave for Real. Stuff like that doesn't make you very popular with supporter unless you score 50+ goals in the first season. If you are capable of that you can be world class jerk and they will still love you.

It's still 2-0 in the 2nd half and it's about 25 minutes left. Real Madrid will win that and they will take the lead again. Barcelona have been under the illusion that they could compete with Real Madrid, but unfortunately the proportions on the pitch are quite clearly in Real Madrid's favour. Espanyol 0 v 0 Valladolid first half almost gone and my prediction on these live matches was to get draw, I don't know how possible this could be to the both team.
So since no much goal attempt on both team do you think this draw would be possible please what do you see from your analysis.

I am impressed about the result of the game rather than Real Madrid victory. I wasn't sure about the winner previously and I was waiting for 1 goal difference or a draw.
Real Madrid players were able to score 3 goals and Benzema opened the gates before seeing Rodrygo closing it! Barcelona was able to score only 1 late goal.
Dembele didn't score from a month in La Liga and Lewandoski from 2 weeks, at the opposite of Champions League, although they risk to not be able to play there after the group stage..

Another player's performance that I would like to comment on is Vini jnr. I wonder which player has more speed between him and Bale. This Real Madrid team is young and will do wonders this season. On the other hand, I am not happy Barcelona lost though but it is what it is. I am certain that most Barca fans are disappointed that Lewa couldn't find the back of the net.

On the other hand, apart from the score, I enjoyed this match especially with the young players that both teams have like Valverde and Vini in Madrid because these 3 goals were created by their movements. The first and second goals started with Vini's movement and the 3rd goal was Valverde's movement there but for Barcelona I also respect Ansu and actually with this Xavi should have the courage to experiment by giving more time to Ansu.

This is really a very good match. I really liked the performance of the youngsters who played earlier, but there are a few things that I regret for Xavi in this match especially for a player of Ansu fati's caliber.

Lewandowski is still criticised about his performance in big matches. He found critical chances against Bayern Munich in the Champions League also and couldn't make use of any of them. The same scenario happened against Real Madrid this time. Especially one of them was a really easy goal chance but somehow the ball went very wide over the goal with his touch. The goal was even clear as the goalkeeper was far away from Lewa's position. Dembele was also not very effective today.

Real Madrid showed their usual performance and got a deserved 3-1 win. Benzema was impressive as usual. He was so eager to win this match that we were able to understand from the way he fights for stealing the ball from the defenders. Barcelona's form is dropping in the La Liga also as it seems so Xavi had better find a solution quickly.

That was to be expected if we see the recent form of Barcelona in Champions League where they are not excelling and in fact they are suffering a lot in the Champions League that they are now most probably out of it to the Europa League as a downgrade.

Barcelona were too careless with their defense how will four man mark Vini jr knowing too well he has skills and speed combined without watching their back for possible pass and shoot from Vini to Benzema and Benzema did not hesitate to send the ball to the net when it came through. Lewa was stressed out in the match i will say. This is the first loss for Barcelona and Madrid has claimed back the top of the league with three points standing.

Real betis are currently leading 1-o against Almeria and Real Sociedad won their game against Celta Vigo pushing Athletic Club who lost to Athletico Madrid by a single goal defference despite dominating the match from start till finish. Currently Athletic Club have been pushed to 6th position on the table
