But what just happening right now, shows just how many ppl still reading this thread, and overal part of this community.
The meetup is going on in chat, and new ppl constantly joining, more than 1600 at the moment.
I also noticed the silent majority here previously, when someone posted one single link to my delegate voting tool, and based on github user stats, it caused more visitors than came from chat channels and Lisk forum.
So in short, don't believe that the Lisk community amounts to the people you see posting here regularly. It's much, much larger.

Dude, I just looked at the price of LISK on Yobit and it's skyrocketed. What's up with that? I don't follow every little thing that goes on with the hundreds of altcoins--is it even the coin that's trading, or that stupid IOU that they devised? I'm also not tech-savvy, so I don't understand what DAPPS are and all of those things. I do understand the potential for them to be world-changing, but not the nuts and bolts of it.

If Lisk software launch on the 24 then how can they offer 85 000 000 lisk to people without even mining or forging or whatever they do?
what is lisk genesis address? how do we know they havn't premined billions of them?

This was an ICO. All the coins were pre-mined and sold off. 100,000,000 coins. 85,000,000 sold. Rest to devs and project funds. Mining for Lisk is called Forging, instead of having it a free for all like bitcoin, Lisk does a DPOS where delegates who are running nodes (101 main ones) will Forge new coins for each block. There can be more than 101 node but only the top 101 will get to forge. To get to the top 101 place, you need to get votes from other people who have lisk in their wallets. That amount of lisk is equal to an amount of voting rank pushing a delegate higher in the list.  I have a lot of LISK , can you give ( or make ) forging pools? Top 101 Delegates will case more people to buy more and more LISKs to have more voting power to receive the rewards , first 1 year : 5 LISK / per block this is a list of forging pools I could find. |
