2341  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New Government Rules Mean No More Gambling Sponsorship on: February 09, 2021, 09:00:56 AM
When betting have too much sponsor, they might be able to influence the game, imagine what it could do if they will try to rig the game in their favor. So I agree with these changes, the game will still generate income as it has a lot of fans but at least it will help to minimize the gambling activities of people.
I agree about the influence effect but there are steps to prevent it.
Just make a strict rule that will scare the hell out of those who won't abide by the rules.
Fines that are too high which will also take the profits they make out of rigging the game.

Why not use it as an opportunity to help the affected people by Covid-19.
Take some share with whatever the sponsor offers and give it back to the people.
2342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Real fact behind crypto ban in Nigeria on: February 09, 2021, 06:51:59 AM
One big problem when a country cannot provide jobs for its people.
They will try to make money to survive and one of the easiest paths is thru illegal methods.
You cannot blame the people if it's the country that is at fault.
Especially now at a critical time when there is still a pandemic that you need to escape.

I hope they can find a better solution instead of just directly banning it. There must be another way.
2343  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: February 09, 2021, 04:02:13 AM
Bad decision by Draymond Green.
He thought he will be fouled but no call. That's a lot of time and should've just run the play for Steph.
The Spurs won the game against GSW.

How about this guy? Dejounte Murray.
Almost a triple-double in a different way. 27 points 10 rebounds 8 steals. Wow.
I think he just broke a record for steals made in a game.
2344  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 09, 2021, 01:21:40 AM
Last-minute bets.  Grin

GSW ML vs Spurs
Nuggets ML vs Bucks

Now watching Hornets vs Houston. Waiting for the Nuggets game @TNT.
LaMelo Ball is doing good with his shooting skills. Now at 4/6 behind the line.
2345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla buys 1.5 BILLION worth Bitcoins !! Good or Bad ? on: February 09, 2021, 12:14:25 AM
One thing is for sure.
It might have created panic and investors ride the wave but I doubt this will stay for a long period of time.

I still don't understand Musk's purpose in doing all of this.
Let's just hope it's really for something good that would increase usage and demand.

Thank you Angela.

"Sources: Detroit Pistons trade Derrick Rose to New York Knicks in deal that reunites former MVP with Tom Thibodeau"
https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/30855113/sources-detroit-pistons-trade-derrick-rose-new-york-knicks-deal-reunites-former-mvp-tom-thibodeau

Derrick Rose back with the Knicks, he and Thibs will be working together after Chicago, Minnesota and now in NY.

Interesting to see how this trade plays out for both the team and Rose, Knicks definitely have a shot at the playoffs in the East, currently holding the 8th spot.

Plenty of guards at Thibs disposal, i just hope Quickley doesn't get his minutes reduced as he has shown promising things thus far, Knick fans can attest to that.

Oh, Dennis Smith Jr goes to the Pistons, part of the trade.
I bet they will also try a small line-up here.
Considering the health of Rose, he won't be taking a lot of minutes. It will be Quickley and Payton that will be hit by it.
Yeah, they have a lot of guards and if Thibs could use that as a strength then I bet they might increase their chances for even a 7th spot in East or better.
Then, there's Austin Rivers which could adjust to SF.
2347  Economy / Speculation / Re: Since BTC doesnt open/close what time of day is the price most active volitile? on: February 08, 2021, 10:34:31 AM
@beamin, are you planning on trading?
I think he does, given he's handicapped and having a difficult time looking for a job.

I agree with some members here with Monday as a not much volatile day.
Tuesday is where they start heating up and Wednesday could be the most volatile of all.
Observed that before when I was too active (almost in a bad way) with trading.
But you could not always rely on that. Just consider it first and have a look if the theory is somehow correct then align it with your timeline.
2348  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 08, 2021, 06:01:48 AM
0/2  Cry
Even with winning the offensive rebounds and lesser turnovers, the Clippers lack the shooting power without PG13.
Batum 3 point shots won't go in. Could've been a great help.

Celtics also had a bad night.
Kemba Walker 4/20 FG in 33 minutes. How bad was that?  Grin
2349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Prepare for the big and long dump this year. on: February 08, 2021, 03:47:16 AM
I doubt there will be a big dump because of the acceptance of different platforms to buy Bitcoin in an easier way.
We don't have that last 2017, that is why whales can manipulate everything.
But with small investors having a chance to buy now especially in the restricted countries of exchange, Bitcoin and Ethereum will not be dumped in high amounts.
Think about it, FOMO could happen once they sell. I wouldn't want to be on that position.
2350  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: February 07, 2021, 06:31:06 PM
Who also notice the great D team Piston put out last night with no Blake and Rose... They got good youngsters but the Lakers are a great team full of experience players too.

I'm more interested in seeing those guys from Detroit build their franchise now.
Yeah, they really gave the Lakers team a difficult time to win it.
Actually, they almost won the game but Lebron was just too good even with an exhausted body.

Still, the Mavs is in the 14th spot. They will need more wins in their next matches.

Yes it looks very bad. Also their game is nothing like it was at start of season. They were 2nd in defence ratings before covid strike. If they will not improve defence even easier schedule in next weeks will not help them. Bright side is that thy are only 4 wins away from 4th spot. So with 2/3 of season left playoff is easily doable. But only if they improve very fast.
That one big point into why the Mavs is a mess now.
Positive Covid-19 players that took time before they can come back to the rotation.
They are revived now when we consider how they put an offensive show against GSW.
2351  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Quick Trading Pattern Guide for Newbie traders on: February 07, 2021, 03:39:34 PM
Thank you.
That's easier to understand in my opinion.
Unlike others who put too much color that leads to an eyesore.  Grin

This is basic and simple. I really like it. Keep sharing man!

2352  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 07, 2021, 01:05:28 PM
Therefore my pick is : LA Clippers -8.5
I'll follow you in this stadus.  Wink
Also adding Celtics & over 218.5. @4.10
Hoping they will be in their best condition again as to how they defeated the Clippers yesterday.
IMO, I don't see much of a good game than these two.

Good luck guys.
2353  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocoins burning market on: February 07, 2021, 08:58:07 AM
I hope that is just not the reason for the sudden pump.
Or, we won't expect anything anymore but just waiting for those popular guys to say something about cryptocurrencies.

It should always be about the demand and a good feature of a project.
Not because of a hype made by someone because it sounds fake. Therefore, we might lose more small investors that rely upon the future.
2354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunter to presale investor! on: February 07, 2021, 06:12:03 AM
Thank God.
Some good news from a bounty hunter.
I thought there will be no end with all the pessimistic threads that are being made thrown in DeFi platforms.
You did great. Keep it up.
Somehow all the hard work from researching will be fruitful in the end.
2355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: February 07, 2021, 04:16:13 AM
What a great display of offensive barrage from both teams Mavs and Warriors.
Curry 11/19 at 3 point line and Luka 7/12.
Kleber though is the one who puts the dagger to give Dallas another win with his last-second 3 point shot.

Funny thing is, I bet for other teams but yet I enjoyed watching them more than what I bet for.  Grin
Still, the Mavs is in the 14th spot. They will need more wins in their next matches.
2356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 06, 2021, 04:46:05 PM
-3.5 later for the Nuggets against the Kings. @1.93.
I'll take it.
This could be their roll for the season.

8.80 for Pistons to win the game against the Lakers. It sounds impossible but who knows?
I'll bet a little relying on the unexpected. Let's go underdogs.
2357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum now on the 55th spot of top asset by Market Cap on: February 06, 2021, 02:02:29 PM
55TH overall? Wow.
I still think it should be way above that.
Ethereum had proven something that we cannot expect. That includes ERC20 and DeFi projects.
I guess a lot of people still believe in mutual funds which could not be taken away.
Profits wise, I will still stay with cryptocurrencies.
2358  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: February 06, 2021, 11:23:14 AM
Kevin Durant just got pulled out of the Nets game for the health and safety protocol after playing the first half. Not a good sign for the players on the floor with him. This has a Rudy Gobert smell to it. We could be seeing these two teams unable to play for a couple weeks if Durant did indeed test positive.
I didn't want the game live but I was curious why his minutes was only limited when I saw the stats report after the game, and I read this news. Durant is probably infected with covid-19, and as a protocol, this team will have to be isolated and maybe other teams as well.

We will have to wait for further update but I think the scenario you point is likely to happen.
Yeah, I was just looking at it now.
He played 19 minutes only.
I was watching the Celtics vs Clippers game and didn't know what happened.
Looks like Covid-19 is hitting a lot of players in the bubble.
I wouldn't be shocked if suddenly they will just pause the season and try to have a mass testing first just to identify where it is coming from.
2359  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1BTC Reaching 1million Still Unrealistic on: February 06, 2021, 07:35:18 AM
But, did anyone really expect $40k accurately? Everyone had their own prediction before but most of them are happy with a 4 digit value.
Hell! I am even happy when it reaches $900 from $300.  Grin
It sounds impossible but it can. But time will tell.
Maybe we won't even see it or maybe yes.
Buying power won't be a problem since you can do it in decimals. Someone will still buy at .001 or even lower.
Then, it becomes addictive when you see growth.
2360  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: May-Pac 2, will it finally happen? on: February 06, 2021, 04:54:47 AM
Same with others, I also doubt this will happen again.
If it is then we might not even be entertained by it.
With our thoughts knowing the purpose of the event is just to create money, it won't be fun anymore.
I bet Mayweather also felt the punches of Pacquiao.
There are chances his clean record might be stained with an unexpected punch.  Grin
