2341  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Importance of Bitcoin Dominance on: February 11, 2021, 03:07:11 PM
Did you make it Sir? That's cool of you.
This proves the market is way different now from 2 to 3 years ago.

Altcoins has a lesser chance to increase in value whenever Bitcoin dominance is there.
The chart may have been correct in some handpicked alts but it is not as a whole.
I think investors and traders should also consider that.
2342  Economy / Speculation / Re: Apple is buying Bitcoin on: February 11, 2021, 12:31:57 PM
After news of Tesla investing 1.5 billion USD in bitcoin we are going to hear similar speculations about other top companies, building up a hype.

Yes, that's correct.
They will speculate until it reaches $100k.
$10k for Apple, another $10k when Google invested, and so on and forth.
It's a non-stop imagination that will be created by those rushing the upward spike of bitcoin.
Actually, that may be bad for the market of cryptocurrencies instead of a healthy market.

People will start speculating about manipulation once again.
2343  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 11, 2021, 09:54:02 AM
Damn! What's an exciting game that was from Mavericks vs Hawks, Unfortunately the Mavericks couldn't cover the spread, come from behind to win the game was probably impressive enough and as for my betbuilder, I lost that as well despite it getting really promising at first..
Yeah, 1/1 for me.
I took the bet at Mavs -3.5.   Cry
Brunson and Tim dominated the 2nd half and it gave the Mavs the edge to win the game.
Trey was trying to argue with the foul showing the bleeding nose but the refs didn't acknowledge it.

While the Nuggets covered everything even multiplied by 3.
I thought it will get boring with 3rd stringers playing but Zeke Nnaji made it fun with a posterized dunk and a technical afterward.  Grin
2344  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: February 11, 2021, 04:17:50 AM
~
The Nuggets need a lot of their roleplayers stepping up for them to achieve a championship.
They crushed the Cavs now with a large lead.
3rd stringer's game almost 1 whole of the 4th quarter.
They need to keep playing at that kind of level. Both in defense and offensive end.

Mavs on the other hand gained another win on a crucial game against the Hawks.
Tim was on fire and Brunson contributes a lot to the 4th quarter offensive spree.
They are now on the 12th spot. More wins to come.
2345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon musk changed the market circles on: February 11, 2021, 03:14:50 AM
That's just a part of it.
Bitcoin volatility will still hit anytime. So, it's difficult to say that a correction won't happen.
There's a probability that Musk bought his Bitcoin at the wrong mark and could've bought at a lower price.
But, there is also a chance it may never fall again.

All of this is a risk and I think he knows what he is doing. I hope so.
2346  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 10, 2021, 05:11:01 PM
Rematch for GSW and Spurs.
I'll stay with GSW -1.5
I hope they can win this one. Yesterday was a close match.
Jazz -5.5 vs Celtics.

Good luck to everyone.

Nice win, you have a perfect night.
Didn't give up with the GSW team. I knew they can win it the second time.
Last game was almost a win too. They just got careless with last minutes of the game.

9 games later. Wow. It's difficult to pick what team to support.
I'll ride with stadus for the same reason.
Nuggets badly need a win. They are hungry now.
Mavs would want every win to take back their spot for the playoffs.
Mavs -3.5

2347  Economy / Exchanges / Re: I'm looking for a New Trading Site on: February 10, 2021, 03:36:34 PM
Thanks for all the suggestions, I'll try Binance first and see how that goes.
Oh! I bet you will love it.
2 BTC is a huge amount now and that is the limit for non-KYC verification.
I think they might also change this in the future if Bitcoin keeps on moving upward.
They will have a problem with money laundering schemes if not.
Good luck and happy trading.
2348  Economy / Economics / Re: Where the correction ? on: February 10, 2021, 01:31:13 PM
It's difficult to predict that.
Perhaps there will be none. That's a good thing right? But for those who want to buy in for a cheaper price.  Grin

I mean, with all the popularity that cryptocurrencies are getting, it's difficult to foresee who or when they will try to dump it again.
Lot's of hope and expectation and I bet they want to hold all the coins for now and would rather sell at a higher price.
What's the higher price? We also don't know.
2349  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: February 10, 2021, 11:13:53 AM
So, if anyone wants to jump on the bandwagon ( Mavericks fans maybe? Cheesy) here is the form:
Nah, thanks.  Cheesy I am still a Nuggets and Mavs fan whatever happens.
Of course, it will always be the Nuggets first.
Jokic won't just stop impressing me. I hope Murray hits his head and goes back to the way he played during the playoffs against the Lakers and Clippers so that they could end this losing streak.

Jazz has good chemistry but IMO they are still not the championship team for me.
2350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BNB reached $100 on: February 10, 2021, 03:31:27 AM
Thanks for the update.
Damn, I didn't notice that.
I just let it be because I know it will continue to grow since a lot of users are promoting it without any payments.  Grin
I think I am going to cash it out in the near future. I am not the type to hold this coin for a very long time.
I'd rather put it in Bitcoin or Ethereum.

2352  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Taking a loan to buy Bitcoin? on: February 09, 2021, 03:14:27 PM
I'm in the same position before.
But I am glad I didn't do it.
This could be addictive you know. When you start taking loans and then felt there is profit you might do it again until you are buried with it.
The same goes for when you think backward. You don't earn a profit so you take another loan and it will be a cycle of continuous debt.
I would not recommend that. I'd rather buy with my own savings even just for a decimal point of Bitcoin.
2353  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New Government Rules Mean No More Gambling Sponsorship on: February 09, 2021, 09:00:56 AM
When betting have too much sponsor, they might be able to influence the game, imagine what it could do if they will try to rig the game in their favor. So I agree with these changes, the game will still generate income as it has a lot of fans but at least it will help to minimize the gambling activities of people.
I agree about the influence effect but there are steps to prevent it.
Just make a strict rule that will scare the hell out of those who won't abide by the rules.
Fines that are too high which will also take the profits they make out of rigging the game.

Why not use it as an opportunity to help the affected people by Covid-19.
Take some share with whatever the sponsor offers and give it back to the people.
2354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Real fact behind crypto ban in Nigeria on: February 09, 2021, 06:51:59 AM
One big problem when a country cannot provide jobs for its people.
They will try to make money to survive and one of the easiest paths is thru illegal methods.
You cannot blame the people if it's the country that is at fault.
Especially now at a critical time when there is still a pandemic that you need to escape.

I hope they can find a better solution instead of just directly banning it. There must be another way.
2355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: February 09, 2021, 04:02:13 AM
Bad decision by Draymond Green.
He thought he will be fouled but no call. That's a lot of time and should've just run the play for Steph.
The Spurs won the game against GSW.

How about this guy? Dejounte Murray.
Almost a triple-double in a different way. 27 points 10 rebounds 8 steals. Wow.
I think he just broke a record for steals made in a game.
2356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 09, 2021, 01:21:40 AM
Last-minute bets.  Grin

GSW ML vs Spurs
Nuggets ML vs Bucks

Now watching Hornets vs Houston. Waiting for the Nuggets game @TNT.
LaMelo Ball is doing good with his shooting skills. Now at 4/6 behind the line.
2357  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla buys 1.5 BILLION worth Bitcoins !! Good or Bad ? on: February 09, 2021, 12:14:25 AM
One thing is for sure.
It might have created panic and investors ride the wave but I doubt this will stay for a long period of time.

I still don't understand Musk's purpose in doing all of this.
Let's just hope it's really for something good that would increase usage and demand.

Thank you Angela.

"Sources: Detroit Pistons trade Derrick Rose to New York Knicks in deal that reunites former MVP with Tom Thibodeau"
https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/30855113/sources-detroit-pistons-trade-derrick-rose-new-york-knicks-deal-reunites-former-mvp-tom-thibodeau

Derrick Rose back with the Knicks, he and Thibs will be working together after Chicago, Minnesota and now in NY.

Interesting to see how this trade plays out for both the team and Rose, Knicks definitely have a shot at the playoffs in the East, currently holding the 8th spot.

Plenty of guards at Thibs disposal, i just hope Quickley doesn't get his minutes reduced as he has shown promising things thus far, Knick fans can attest to that.

Oh, Dennis Smith Jr goes to the Pistons, part of the trade.
I bet they will also try a small line-up here.
Considering the health of Rose, he won't be taking a lot of minutes. It will be Quickley and Payton that will be hit by it.
Yeah, they have a lot of guards and if Thibs could use that as a strength then I bet they might increase their chances for even a 7th spot in East or better.
Then, there's Austin Rivers which could adjust to SF.
2359  Economy / Speculation / Re: Since BTC doesnt open/close what time of day is the price most active volitile? on: February 08, 2021, 10:34:31 AM
@beamin, are you planning on trading?
I think he does, given he's handicapped and having a difficult time looking for a job.

I agree with some members here with Monday as a not much volatile day.
Tuesday is where they start heating up and Wednesday could be the most volatile of all.
Observed that before when I was too active (almost in a bad way) with trading.
But you could not always rely on that. Just consider it first and have a look if the theory is somehow correct then align it with your timeline.
2360  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 08, 2021, 06:01:48 AM
0/2  Cry
Even with winning the offensive rebounds and lesser turnovers, the Clippers lack the shooting power without PG13.
Batum 3 point shots won't go in. Could've been a great help.

Celtics also had a bad night.
Kemba Walker 4/20 FG in 33 minutes. How bad was that?  Grin
