2361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ethereum price get to 4,000 in 2022 on: September 01, 2022, 11:14:10 AM
Now it becomes impossible to happen though we still has 4 months to achieve yet 4k? this is closer to ATH back in 2021? Am not sure mate but of course lets see what  it comes.
The price of Ethereum had crossed the 3k dollars already. But now it was under the value of 1.5k dollars. So it’s best time to buy the Ethereum at the cheap. And we know the merge of Ethereum will happen, before that merge get more Ethereum into your wallet. When the merge was happened,it was sure the price of Ethereum will cross 4K dollars.
I think influence of eth merge in term of value will be kinda insignificant since the rumour of merge itself already increase its value so i think the merge itself will just have less influence than the rumour as usually.
instead I think in term of reaching $4k again it will requires eth waiting for changing of trend instead, since the merge will be kinda insufficient.
not until the merging happens? everything will remain speculative and that is something we must only look into consideration but never expect too much from it.

2363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where to hodl Ethereums? (ETH MERGE) on: August 31, 2022, 03:29:33 AM
Binance takes forever to distribute forks that has ever happened to any popular crypto projects and I am sure that the same will happen with Ethereum if the fork is going to happen, you will have to wait for like a week before you see your coins, other exchanges are always faster than Binance exchnage when it comes to fork.
indeed , this is why Binance is not as good for fork taker . there are several forks that i try to hold in their exchange but ended up waiting long.

______________________________________________

Am not sure if Exodus is one good place for forking but I am holding my Ethereum in this wallet as I felt safer for long time now.

Obviously holding onto your coins in your own wallet where you are the sole holder of your keys is the best idea. I don’t think any exchange can be certain what will happen or how they will react yet. If you want to make sure you will definitely have whatever forked coins pop up after the merge, you should own the keys holding your coins.
yes , there is no safe place but our own wallet for holding with our Keys.
2364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: $WAVES to hit $10 price soon? on: August 31, 2022, 03:11:24 AM
Waves has been doing very well recently both in price and in development. Waves team spearheaded by Sasha Ivanov have been hard at their job and delivering some top notch updates recently.

Recent news:

In a bid to advance blockchain adoption and interoperability, Waves partners up with Conflux, an open protocol for a new world of dApps, finance, and Web 3.0.

The two teams will join efforts to implement blockchain integration via Gravity to enrich the InDeFi infrastructure and create new opportunities for practical implementation of decentralized finance.

About the price:

Waves was at $2 in October but at the time of this post, it is at $7.6. The recent high was at $8.7.

What are your opinions on $WAVES in the short, mid and long term?

Its getting closer mate, because Waves from that post 2 years ago maintained its position at least at 4 dollars so any time again.

after hitting a All Time High of 22 dollars just last May 2022, i believe that there will be another Bumping in the coming year specially in Halving in the next 3 years from now.
2365  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be worth zero? on: August 31, 2022, 02:31:21 AM
Bitcoin can not drop to zero, it is not like other altcoins that does not have value in the market. If Bitcoin is experiencing the bear market that doesn't mean the price of bitcoin will drop to zero. It is only shit coins that have the tendency to drop to zero.
let them have that thinking because it is them that will lose anyway , they will sell when there is a slight  falling and will never gain because of their panicking .

I am not keeping my Eye in market when it is bearishness so i will keep safe my funds on holding , this is the secret i am doing for years now , even deleting the cookies of exchange so i will not have easy access to check the prices here and there.
2366  Economy / Gambling / Re: Poker tournaments why tournaments in other games on: August 31, 2022, 01:49:48 AM
It's because there are no PVP games for other games. Like in dice, the only thing that competition can be made is through wagering and amount of wins there.
In slots, the same goes there. Is there a PVP type of gambling with slots? None. So, it's the same for dice and unlike poker, there's really an interaction from each player at that one table. Don't compare them because there's a huge gap.
it is correct , and poker makes big difference from their offering and this is also the reason why gamblers turn their gaming in Poker and participating in tournaments  because of those opportunity , they find gaming in this as a competition wise and improving their skills in card games.
Poker had been around for long and yes gamblers all around the world are engaging and enjoying all aspect of this.
Well, casinos can reinvent some way of tournaments and contests. But don't compare the different sets of games that they have and it's doable for poker. As you've said, it's been there for a long time and gamblers, online and offline, have been doing that for a long time.
maybe Innovating the game will help them garner more players? because boredom mostly is the enemy of gambling operators from their players and that will make them enjoy more  when there is new features with the same game.
Quote
It is very fun to watch tournaments when you're bored at home and you just sit down or lie on the bed. You'll see how good these pros are in tournaments.
but it is more fun if we will partake in one of the tournament mate as I've tried that twice  in my life lol.
2367  Economy / Gambling / Re: I Have a Question ~ Are 1xbit Campaigners Playing on 1xbit? on: August 31, 2022, 01:38:11 AM
I'm not sure about the participants spending, but 1xbit keeps themselves with addition of more sports events. In recent days it have added cosmos to the list of cryptocurrencies used for gambling. One of early established platform, for now if they've solved the acquisition it could've grown much bigger taking the lead role as cryptocurrency accepted sportsbook.
It keeps making me wonder why 1xbit chose to scam. Whether it was intentional or a certain management mismanaged the company and spoilt her reputation.  If 1xbit don't want to scam they will make good company because of variety they put in their site. But it's unfortunate they are happy scamming people. Who knows if it is only members of the forum that are affected or random victims.
In my understanding, 1xbit once got into acquisition of some scam and they never took it serious. It went like, they were out of the business. Later once again they came back, but the popularity of the domain name doesn't let them go for a change. Here they solved few acquisition and tried to gain reputation. This failed and now they're trying to continue their service amidst the acquisition.
Years back they are interested in addressing those accusation against them but nowadays? it looks like they are already immune about all the cases coming here and there means one thing that they are only for profit or income and not caring about the players , in need of attention then they will not gain anything from the community and I'm not sure if there are even one forum member that plays in this site.
2368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you play Slots? (long sessions / jumper / focussed) on: August 30, 2022, 10:45:18 AM
There's no pattern in slots but rather our bankroll should last, at least, in the long run, as the more time we play on the slots, that will give us the higher our chance to hit those nasty wins and crazy bonuses like free spins, etc.
Thats true. I dont jump to slot after slot because I believe the longer I stay, there's a possibility to get something. Of course its not guaranteed but if you're only playing for fun you're not really concern about winning.
There is no guarantee to always be able to get something good when playing long games in slot gambling because sometimes when the account you have is very lucky then you can immediately get big luck and get very many results without having to linger in your slot gambling. choose. but it all depends on the account you have.
Luck will save us from losing but the question is will this be on our side mostly? or this will be on our table to provide ?

lingering in slot machines is our hobby because we cannot maintain the winning so we will look for another machine here and there to find our luck and brings us wins .
2369  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Somewhere in Nigeria, Bitcoin's touching lives on: August 30, 2022, 09:43:20 AM
Kind of this Initiative always  keeps me motivated in following such steps , i also planned to establish something similar but will not ask for any donation instead from my own pocket with small amount ? I know that i can serve people in various depressed places to at least bring them water to drink or small cooperative to help their community have profit even in small way.
I promise to myself that once I earn better in my holdings in the next bullrun? at least I will provide one of those plans sooner.
2370  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1 - The copycat epidemic within crypto casinos. on: August 30, 2022, 09:28:01 AM
I don't think about whether the template of a casino site is almost the same as other casinos because if the new casino can provide comfort and security for its members, I don't think it will be a problem.
well , this becomes a questionable act as we have seen several times or many times that most of copycat casinos turns out scam , but of course I'm not saying all of them but at least most?

and besides if they are truly infront of business then surely they will use their money to create unique and out of others to find their own comfort and players.

Quote
And as long as the new casino site can really do their best to build a new casino business and they are serious about it, we don't need to think further about why their site is similar to other casinos.
well it is for them to prove , and if they really not intended the similarities then they will update their site to at least change something that will mark them differently .

Quote
We might think about many possibilities while we don't know the truth, and if we really want to know the real answer, we better ask the new casino owner directly.
If we don't like all that and think copying designs from other casinos is not good, we don't need to play in that casino.
well that is the best way to deal with it.
2371  Economy / Gambling / Re: Some Crazy Fun Facts About Casinos And Gambling You Might Not Know. on: August 30, 2022, 08:29:43 AM

Some Gambling Addicts Pee All Over the Gaming Floor.
I actually laughed when I first read it but in reality, it is really happening. Some gamblers can't even urinate because they won't leave their spot just because they want to focus on their gameplay. It's funny but really happening to those who can't resist excessive gambling. I guess online gambling which is now available via mobile is more convenient for them and they don't have to pee all over the gaming floor.
or Maybe those person are really a tripper? they cannot resist the call of doing something inappropriate  wherever they are, either in gambling places or everywhere ? and this does not mean they are a gambler or addicted gambler instead it is their nature and attitude to do whatever they think may call them cool person.
2372  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the price of BTC ever hit $40k again? on: August 30, 2022, 08:22:26 AM
I observed several changes in the price  within a few months. With these changes, I wish to ask do you think the price of Bitcoin will ever hit $40k again?
I'm just being curious as a new trader.
because you are a new trader, so I welcome you to a very volatile market. from the history of bitcoin price changes in the last few years, bitcoin has great potential to return to $40k or even go down to $20k. if you are a short-term trader then try to never sell at a loss, prices change very quickly, pay attention to your decisions, don't be rash.
I believe that he is not a new trader because this seems to be not a total buyer instead he is just for Speculations and that is not a proper way to ask  , desperately checking about 40k when he does not even mentioned of holding some?
$40,000 USD is nothing and it will once again hit that number anytime soon. Remember, the $40,000 USD isn't even the all time high. Look at the charts. The price always reaches a new all time high and then after few months or years, the new all time high gets beaten and another ATH takes place.

Since you are a new trader, I would suggest you to learn the market first and know about the volatility of the market. Bitcoin can be $40,000 today and it can be $20,000 tomorrow!
maybe what he is asking if this can be reached sooner , and that is why he is eager to hear answer that is impossible to assume correctly .

Price will increase or decrease depend on how we contribute for the adoption .
2373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the market rise in september on: August 30, 2022, 06:40:33 AM
Which coin will be ready to buy. It is time to dump the all coin. Can you expect the market to do something good in June. What do you say.
obviously? did not happened instead rising comes in the later day of july or best to call in August and yes we are now  experiencing another falling these days from the last increase weeks ago.
with all of these? altcoin are only following the flow that shows lowering nowadays and there are so much fall to expect as the Mt.Gox paying soon to happen.
right now the best coins to buy are stable coins or convert all coins to stable coins because the bear market is still not over and it is likely that in the next few weeks we will see a much deeper chasm. buying other than stable coins at this time has a very big risk because it is possible that in september bitcoin will touch $ 17k. Patience and not being rash are the main keys in the crypto world.
what is the sense in Buying Stable coin? this is not can be called holding because there is no different from holding Fiat.
first of all it will never be known what market move, but some analysis prediction there will be bounce in 3 to 5 years and in some coin like BNB and ETH i think it will be more profit to come.
if we are going to Buy every month sentiments ? then we will surely lose our faith in cryptocurrencies lol.
2374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: KYC on Gambling Business on: August 28, 2022, 08:50:25 AM
I find it a bit ironic that some members here usually attack new casinos just because they don't have a license but they complain when a casino asks them to verify their identity. Sorry, but I had to say it.
If you value your privacy so much then don't play at licensed casinos, as simple as that. You never know when they will lock your account and ask you to pass kyc.
Indeed. We have an option if we dont like the idea of complying on a kyc of the specific casino. Many casinos are still not requiring their players to do the kyc verification and you can play anonymously. However we should know the risk of playing to a not licensed casino compared to those casinos operating with license.
but the main problem as we experienced ? those who are not literally asking for KYC in the beginning but eventually when there are big amount involve? then this KYC will come.
Quote
Anyway, kyc is now a common requirement of casinos to their players. However if you're just an average gambler, usually they dont ask for it until you exceeds a certain limit of withdrawal. For me its not a big deal to comply as long as im dealing with a trusted casino to abide on their kyc requirement.
yes but not until you become lucky to win jackpot or some big amount releasing then KYC again will imply.
2375  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: KYC on Gambling Business on: August 27, 2022, 09:02:44 AM
Tough shit.

What needs to be done is to adapt. It is rare nowadays to use sites where money is moved and not have to do KYC, even at a basic level. Casinos have been imposing more and more KYC and the only thing we can do is to be aware of it and act accordingly.

that is what exactly the point here , why people still make this an big issue when it is given that once there is a Money flow then there should be a security or as we called KYC . and if you are not willing to deal with it then best to find other place to do your things that is a common way of treating these kind of people.
they wanted to deposit and withdraw without anyone noticing them? that is a complete BS for me.

Quote
There are still a few casinos that do not require KYC, but if those casinos impose KYC in the future, there is nothing we can do about it, as fiat casinos require KYC, both land-based and online.

actually they are not imposing according to their TOS but I believe that once in a while? if they find inappropriate activities for the said account? then surely they will send the players for KYC .
2376  Economy / Gambling / Re: I Have a Question ~ Are 1xbit Campaigners Playing on 1xbit? on: August 26, 2022, 10:21:11 AM
They don't need to use their payment as betting capital on their site because they're not asked to. I'm sure that participants also have an idea about the trust issues of the said campaign but they're also staying to earn.
I agree and I also think that most of the 1xbit signature participants are multiaccount users probably its a big reason why they are defending this scam platform. They aren't dumb enough to use a fellow thief's service/platform they know that they can be screwed once they put in money.
exactly , they already understand what kind of company that pays them so with those agreement , surely they will prevent themselves from playing as the chance of being another victim or problem to occur .
I'm not sure about the participants spending, but 1xbit keeps themselves with addition of more sports events. In recent days it have added cosmos to the list of cryptocurrencies used for gambling. One of early established platform, for now if they've solved the acquisition it could've grown much bigger taking the lead role as cryptocurrency accepted sportsbook.
maybe they are just extending the option of players so they can gain more players from crypto users yet their cases and issues are still  floating and no clear answers at all.
2377  Economy / Gambling / Re: Poker tournaments why tournaments in other games on: August 26, 2022, 06:30:28 AM
Even though games like dice and slot are most popular but poker in the contest is most favorable for tournaments even though there has always been a low turn-up from most gamblers on the forum. Cryptocurrency gambling has become very popular and some games do not attract many players I think poker is one of those games and that is why they always organize a tournament to attract new players to test the game.

2378  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should Employers Screen Applicants for Problem Gambling Before Employment? on: August 26, 2022, 06:20:03 AM
I am not that strict because I know that each person has their rights in working  and in joining company , no matter if they are gamblers or not because what is important is that how they will follow the rules and obey orders .

the company will pay depend in their performance , if the company find them not competitive then maybe kicking them that day is basically correct.

best to bring out new here soon or you'll gain nothing from what you are targeting here .

Then maybe you should learn more then? because it seems that you are not there to understand everything for gambling instead what you are pointing is something that you dont really know.
Same looks here because reading His post makes me think that if he really know  crypto gambling specially how this market supports poker , In Games and rounds eh can see some games running or those who had ended about poker.
Quote
Gambling, poker and cryptocurrency are being accompanied each other nowadays and there are even tournaments happening from their part.
similar occasion we can see because this has bringing more gamblers interested in using crypto than fiat or their credit cards.

and also this competition is getting bigger as what real life poker is gaining now.
