2361  Economy / Economics / Re: Texas Could Recognize Bitcoin As A Legal Currency on: April 09, 2021, 03:24:22 PM
IMO, I have had this feeling that Tan Parker has a big investment in Bitcoin or cryptocurrency.  The way he proposes the bill protects the entire users to have their cryptocurrency in and out.

Texas is a very conservative state, that’s why I don’t really think that this law will pass.  But we will never know.
They are currently strengthening their finances there.  I heard that there is a lot of people moving to Texas because of their taxes, but honestly, I don’t want it to be legalized as restrictions will incur often. But if It will pass then good to hear and I think they were inspired by how Wyoming taking advantage of cryptocurrencies now.  I wonder how many collections they had after passing the bill.
2362  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price has reached new high price near 59K on: April 09, 2021, 03:07:53 PM
Yeah and I thought it was reached the $60k amount, but it is almost and considering that is a new ATH.

I would rather see altcoins growing and Bitcoin having a lower dominance rate if it means that people are having fun with the market and still able to sustain.  The question is, up until when would Bitcoin be stable?
This is a golden question we had to get answers to (unfortunately, impossible because of the volatility of the market) we know that there's no infinite growth of Bitcoin price and it could be now and then it will dump, as in dump like what happened right after the previous ATH, it was drastically down.

And the good thing today is, during the alt season, stable coins can be used in order to keep stay the same.  I would actually suggest people go to stable coins during the season if they are a short-term holder, just to make sure the consistency.
2363  Economy / Exchanges / Re: open source crypto exchange on: April 09, 2021, 02:42:52 PM
..good but this doesn't support all altcoins
I think there's no single exchange platform that supports all cryptocurrencies listed on CMC, it might even Binance, they don't list all altcoins on the market cap so there's no chance that you will find one exchange that supported all altcoins.

As already suggested already above, Bisq and Uniswap are the most common open-source decentralized exchange.  Here's another one, HollEx Kit exchange it seems I heard this but I don't have any personal experience it, so better to find your own way.

If there's centralized exchange open-source might vulnerable to hack and the reason most of them DEXs will survive in the trading business field because hacks and cheat are far away from them.
2364  Economy / Economics / Re: Are "Work Ethics" & "American Dream" a way to keep people working hard? on: April 07, 2021, 11:57:21 PM
This is relative, the logic says that if you work more you should receive more money or payment, sometimes some jobs require you to give at least 8 to 10 hours of work, but the salary you earn is not enough to live well, but to try to cover the most basic needs such as food, services, among others.
That's work hard, to spend how many hours in work without even any shortcuts.  The instinct of having another source of income is a must and in the right investment.  Just like my professor once said, "don't work for the money, let your money work for you".

I think the reason why there has to be argued is that someone wasn’t able to get the point.
Working and service are considered synonyms however, they have a big difference if you’re going to observe.

Working is doing something in exchange for your desire and service is doing something to someone or something in favor of yours.
For me, working is a trap.  If you consider your job as one exchange for what you want to get, that’s the reason why you feel what you feel.  But if you know the real purpose of service, you’ll never complain and you will reach the American dream without noticing it.
2365  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: day trading crypto in the United States Vs. the IRS on: April 07, 2021, 11:31:27 PM
IMO, you had to completely understand how tax works because taxes will still be there, always.  Almost all of your transactions are associated with the tax.
But it doesn’t mean that you’ll owe a lot of taxes by the end of the year.

Trading taxes is also different than being an employee.  You were able to speak with tax lawyers right?
Next time ask them the difference between the two and the second, tax only occurs if you earn or gain.  And of course, if you have given them losses taxes might be very minimal.  So don't worry about it and find a way to reduce your tax instead and seek help from any tax experts to check loopholes, that’s what I can recommend.
2366  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are some good crypto trading apps on Android? on: April 06, 2021, 11:58:27 PM
I suggest you have your own research instead and here is a list that I found on Google about the trading apps that best on android.
https://jeangalea.com/best-cryptocurrency-trading-apps/
https://www.digitaltrends.com/mobile/best-cryptocurrency-apps/

Yes, there are too many trading apps that you can use, personally stick to the trading app that very trend to use at this moment and I think that is a Binance trading app.  There are maybe hundreds of trading pairs that you can choose from.

IMO, when I'm doing trading, I've always preferred on the website, not on the apps.
2367  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Livecoin.net on: April 06, 2021, 11:34:59 PM
Based on http://livecoin.news/, their announcement website said.
"Dear clients, we have done accepting applications for payouts. New applications submitted starting from 18/03 are not accepted. All received applications will be processed"

Probably those applications that didn't submit beyond that date will only receive 50% fund replacement and there might a task to follow before they will receive, just my assumption.

I didn't see there's someone posted on their Twitter account saying they got a 50% refund.
https://twitter.com/livecoin_net/status/1373578003867971584

So, OP was completely shilling this post.
2368  Economy / Economics / Re: High-Frequency Traders Eye Satellites for Ultimate Speed Boost on: April 06, 2021, 10:48:24 PM
It might this is an advantage that everyone will soon have access to.  However, these traders have kept a lot of profits already when that time comes.

However, I personally don’t think that this will actually outplay other traders.  It’s not always the information that has to be considered, we don’t always know what’s gonna happen.

There is a lot of circumstances that time doesn’t matter but the knowledge to the market.  Even if you have the quickest fiber optic in the world if you do not have an idea of what’s going on, or keep your internet and watch youtube entertainment videos instead IMO.
2369  Economy / Speculation / Re: How low could the next bear market move bitcoin? on: April 05, 2021, 11:54:43 PM
First, try to visit the Speculation board there are tons of predictions there that may enlighten you about the movement in the market.

IMO, the $50K mark is something that we had to consider, in my own observation, the bear market doesn’t get less than 30% of the highest price achieved.  Meaning to say that it is possible for Bitcoin to go as low as $15K but never in less than that amount.

As I remember, when Bitcoin reached the $20K mark, it never went down to $5K ever again.
Same when Bitcoin has barely started.  But again, for disclaimers, it is not impossible for Bitcoin to go down that level because it’s Bitcoin.  A very much volatile market we chose to be involved in and another factor is that the price is unpredictable.
2370  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to read whale alerts? on: April 05, 2021, 11:45:45 PM
I guess comments was meant to mislead, or people who were not able to totally understand why whales did what they did.

It's simple, that whale for sure doesn’t only have Bitcoin as their investment.  Besides, they might also need funds at any moment and they can always get chunks of their Bitcoins and doesn’t always mean that they are trying to make a move. But mostly, if they did transfer to the unknown wallet, most probably they would sell. In opposite, they’d like to keep.

Don't bother yourself thinking those whales alert, it might just a trick of them, just focus on the news of Bitcoin acceptance and adoption, they might have an effect on the bull trend.
2371  Economy / Economics / Re: U.S. rent has increased 175% faster than household income over past 20 years on: April 05, 2021, 03:53:16 PM
In this field, cryptocurrency is only a secondary solution that has to be associated or has to coexist with the main solution.
And that's companies or people to develop affordable and economical properties that could be paid for the longest term and of course, within the budget.

However, due to high demand, it really is kind of impossible to execute that. Unless government would lend a hand to make it happen.

I think the best platform is to have a decentralized community that will help fund a development company to build economical houses IMO.
2372  Economy / Economics / Re: A Decentralized Roadmap To Compete With Elon Musk/Tesla: The Open Source Car on: April 05, 2021, 03:24:15 PM
IMO, this might work but only at the idea stage.
Even though there's a lot of people who are capable of developing vehicles, it doesn’t mean this will actually work.

In my point of view, the decentralization of vehicle development doesn’t really make that much difference.  Building a vehicle does require a lot of processes to be made, a lot of principles that have to be followed, and a lot of things to be considered.

Let’s say we have a lot of ideas, but only .01% will make it to manufacturing.
And that is something you had to consider.  Do you think .01% is profitable to the community?
2373  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: If crypto is banned in my country on: April 05, 2021, 03:08:46 PM
What if I declare that I am 'gifting' all my crypto holdings to my foreign resident relative.
Crypto trading, holding and mining will be banned but what if I just move them to someone else's wallet?
It was already suggested above, the source of funds might questionable for them and may ask where it comes from, it would be better if you will not sell it at once, it may not notice if you will sell it little by little.

I’d recommend you get your consultation with a registered CPA, they might be able to help you with the process.  We could provide you suggestions that will give you an idea of how to make it but the process itself has to be done by professionals.  It's possible for you to get your funds clean as it really is clean. It’s just that, the process it has to take has to be done by your accountants.

Let them help you strategize how you can make your funds legalized. There are always loopholes in legal and numbers.  Seek immediate professional assistance now.
2374  Economy / Economics / Re: Filecoin Foundation Grants 50,000 FIL to the Internet Archive on: April 05, 2021, 02:48:07 PM
Few people spend their earnings on charity, donating parts of the platform for charity by FIL and not in bitcoin or dollars means that they would like to use the donation a part of indirect advertising for that cryptocurrency.
I hope this charity isn’t the same as what I’ve encountered once in my life.  When you’re there, you would see why people donate funds to charity. Simple, they just had to choose from the two options.

The first option is to use that funds to pay massive tax. And the second one is to donate it to a charity for it to be more useful/controlled.
However,  some might donate not because they want to help, but because they want their money to be cleaned. Charity is one of the best ways to do that.

Anyways, good to know there is a coin like this and it will probably help those poor people who suffered from starvation.
2375  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Most favorable country for the crypto market on: April 04, 2021, 11:59:16 PM
Upon having a short googling I found out that the most country that commonly used cryptocurrency is Nigeria, how this will come as I heard they banned any merchants or exchanges that associated with cryptocurrencies especially Bitcoin.  But why not in Switzerland?  Cheesy
If I am not mistaken, Nigeria is the country with the biggest population in Africa - 210,178,123 according to wordometer. Switzerland just has 8,703,198 people
Also, MLMs, Ponzi and pyramid schemes seem to be so rife in Nigeria and most probably need members to make and receive payments in cryptocurrecies.
Yeah I see, I didn't think about the number of the population according to the worldmeter world poulation Nigeria is on top number 7 largest population country while the country of Switzerland is on 101, it's pretty damn far if we really compare.

3rd world countries have the advantages and freedom and mostly they don't have regulations yet regarding crypto.
Exactly and we're a part of that country, it's been regulated here by our Central bank as a form of alternative payment which means consider as a currency.
2376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Am I right to understand that this trading strategy is a very bad idea? on: April 04, 2021, 11:40:54 PM
That's a great strategy and that's a common one, buy low and sell high(or never sell) but never leave your fund on exchange for how many years of waiting when the price becomes dump, that's no a good idea.

From this blog regarding the comparison of crypto exchange fee, I think eToro exchange platforms have a great advantage of trading like this because they don't have trading fees either the maker and the taker and I saw there's no transaction fee upon withdrawal.  Probably that is a good advantage to them and they're also a reputable exchange so far that you can trust.  However, if you like Coinbase, it's up to you.  I may suggest always to have a DYOR and don't rely upon other's suggestions because that is your money, not them.
2377  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading an occupation? on: April 04, 2021, 11:22:39 PM
And with this new generation, the internet era, I could say trading is a good profession and that could possibly make you rich if you are doing this so well.
I tend to agree, but there's no quick money on trading, it needs more work and research in the beginning and as I say, trading isn't an easy job that you can earn profit and becomes a millionaire within a short period of time.  We're now in the internet era and most people relying on internet activity but you shouldn't hurry and hoping to becomes quickly a millionaire, isn't work like that, if this is your mindset towards trading, forget it.

If you really change your life daily routine and quit your job and switch to a full-time trader, I may advise be a professional and expert at what you do because for now, crypto trading is might be trending as a source of income to anyone who knows technically stuff about trading.  If you want to become a professional it needs for you to have a workload to take time to learn and gain knowledge, without it, it seems your wasting your time in trading and that does not become your occupation.
2378  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Most favorable country for the crypto market on: April 04, 2021, 04:19:28 PM
Which country do you think is the most favorable for the crypto market & its policy?
Switzerland is nice and they have crypto valley canton of Zug,
I tend to agree and that is exactly right, the country of Switzerland was supposed to be declared as a crypto nation.  It's totally legal there and they treat cryptocurrencies belong to valuable assets and it could be taxed.

Here is the full list of the top 5 Countries Which Are Most Favorable to Cryptocurrency Use and the country of Switzerland was the number one there.

Upon having a short googling I found out that the most country that commonly used cryptocurrency is Nigeria, how this will come as I heard they banned any merchants or exchanges that associated with cryptocurrencies especially Bitcoin.  But why not in Switzerland?  Cheesy

2379  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: wallet security on: April 04, 2021, 03:34:30 PM
Which one of them has other mechanisms for protecting theft such as confirming transactions via email confirmation, SMS code, or...?
It's a Multi-sig wallet feature and I tend to agree with what o_e_l_e_o said above regarding your question and that is a Multi-sig wallet set up.  But if your a newbie to this kind of wallet, this isn't advisable because it isn't simplified enough for average users, it should be better if you know what you're doing, and putting extra security level like this might good but it all depends on how you keep it.  It should always separate your mobile phone wallet and desktop wallet without any backup on the device and paper wallet in a separate location.

Here is the wallet that supports with Multi sig feature.
  • Electrum
  • Armory
  • Coinbase
  • Copay
  • BitGo

The forum must create it's native token and distribute them to members based on their activities.
This forum was found and created because of Bitcoin or any discussion and other technical stuff regarding Blockchain, we don't need a fancy token because the forum has already a digital coin and that's Bitcoin.

Quote
Tokens must be transferable among forum members but should not be listed on any exchange.
It seems you mean this is a merit system, but it doesn't mean trading merit between users.  It will be awarded in good posters and this will help to clean the forum to illuminate spammers, otherwise, it will never rank up.

This will also prevent scam projects from running bounty and running away without paying.
I have a better idea: let's just close the bounty board Smiley
I tend to agree.
