Hmm, that's quite interesting. I though as almost everywhere else, there is no point of using the faucets because even if you win big, you cannot withdraw. I had that experience with Bitsler for example.

That's what makes us different! We started out as a faucet site funded by advertising. The dice game was originally added just for entertainment but as time went on advertising revenues disappeared and we became a dice site with a faucet, so a hybrid if you will. If you want you can just use free plays and withdraw, although it will take a long time to get the minimum withdrawal limit.

Edit:
OK, something I don't understand :

#    USER ID    AMOUNT WON       USER TICKETS
1     7998833   1.08873067 BTC         219

Then you have :

PRIZES FOR LOTTERY ROUND 172
1st
BTC0.03074819

How can one win more than 1 bitcoin with 219 tickets when the prize for the first place is  0.03BTC ? So he has more than 30 1st prize winning tickets to accumulate that amount?

The prize varies dependant on the number of tickets issued, both bought and given away. The price of Bitcoin has a big effect on that as did the period of time recently when the botnets were targetting the lottery.
The 0.03 you see now reflects the 25,488,032 tickets issued so far this week and as it is only Monday that should increase a lot by the time of the draw on Sunday.

Recently I have started asking users who win $20 and $200 at FreeBitco.in to start posting about their wins in the forum for a small reward in addition to their prize. To keep the place clean, I'll be asking them to post it in this thread. Since FreeBitco.in has a lot more users than this forum, these posts might be from newbies but I have also asked them to post their winning seeds and a screenshot of their win to get the reward. Hopefully we get a lot more people posting about their wins now!
I just won $20 at FreeBitco.in!

My user id is 15820171.
~Thank you!

Just out of curiosity,
if you use your free rolls for lottery tickets, is it possible to win anything in the lottery?
I've tried sometime ago the free rolls every hour and I got some satoshi which I exchanged for lottery tickets, of course they were like 100 or 200 tickets, almost impossible to win, but still a fun to play.

Have a look back through the lottery results history and you'll find someone once won a prize with only 2 tickets. That's the thing about probabilities, no matter how improbable something may be, it can still happen.

LOTTERY ROUND 171
This round, the winner with the lowest number of tickets is #8 with 36,057 tickets.
#1 won 0.40176932 BTC with 2,142,548 tickets.

I had 150000+ tickets this week and still didn't win...

Dang, it must be fixed if 150,000 tickets didn't win a lottery with a total of 316,385,577.  Wink

Congratulations to 3693227 on winning 0.40176932 BTC with 2,142,548 tickets and thank you for being a loyal customer since Jan '17.

4 days passed already ... no bonus! Email stated $5 bonus in 48 hours ... what's going on?!

Sorry about that but wetsuit gets very busy. We've made a change in procedure which means I'll be paying these out in future so they should get processed more promptly.

All eligible winners up to this post have been credited $5 to their account. All those that posted the wrong screenshot, I'm sorry but you have to follow the instructions.

Nice win and well done for posting the correct screenshot of your FREE BTC page as requested in the instructions. For the others a reminder that the rolls history doesn't count.

Here's how to earn a week's lottery))
The person with id 1800276 won it very many times;)

I apologize for my english, this is not my native language

The least I could see there for that user was a bit over 900k tickets which in this case is equivalent to 900k sats. Unless for someone who is always busy on the platform or someone who really have quite a good number of active followers, this is one thing that cannot be easy to achieve and sure it increases your chances of winning as long as you have quite a huge number of tickets compared to total tickets, but at the same time, you would not want to using real money to want to get to that extent.
It looks like this user 1800276 is a good player in playing the lottery on freebitco.in, he always seems to be purchasing lottery tickets without exceeding the amount of 0.1 BTC, and he have even managed to win the 1st prize of 2.31405147 BTC in round 59, that was a nice huge profit for him in round 59 after deducting the total cost of the lottery tickets he purchased.

I gave this clue up above for a good reason.  Wink

You get a free ticket for every 500 Satoshis wagered. That's just a bonus to players that bet a large amount.

Sorry, I wanted to help but it appears that I can't say for sure that this exchange is a reliable one.

You have helped. I forwarded it on to wetsuit to take a look at and he can decide whether or not he wants freebitco.in to be associated with them.
2370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Someone won freebitco.in lottery already? on: September 07, 2018, 06:06:24 PM
That is like someone set out to flame up him or herself in huge debt Grin. I have still seen people with 2 tickets winning something tangible which is nothing much compared to what they ended up winning anyway and for someone to come up with a solution of putting up about 3m to get tickets unless you get them for free from referrals, then it is absurd.

It is still the same rule, for those who care, just play with what you can afford to lose, and someone who would want to take chances like this with real money will be having themselves to blame in the long run.

You get a free ticket for every 500 Satoshis wagered. That's just a bonus to players that bet a large amount.

They're going to lose a lot of money with the change yes.

I couldn't find another direct one though, there probably isn't a trusted one yet but one will probably open up with the gap in the market.

If people don't mind signing up an account they can still use it with us by just using their freebitco.in deposit address as the Bitcoin output. It's just the automation part that's broken.

I'd agree that is a big gap in the market for someone to jump into.

Does anyone know of an alternative service?

I can think of changelly might be useful (potentially) - I expect some sort of tip if wetsuit uses it though...

I forwarded it on to him. I'm not sure though because it still requires an account. That was the good thing about Shapeshift, that is no more.
2373  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Big wins at FreeBitco.in on: September 07, 2018, 09:02:17 AM
They never give the $5 for posting the winning proof

You didn't follow the instructions correctly. You have to post a screenshot of the win on the FREE BTC page. You posted a screenshot of the rolls history on the MULTIPLY BTC page.

How can i delete my account on freebito.in?

Start running a bot to claim the faucet and I'll delete it for you.
In all seriousness, there is no option to delete an account because we don't keep an personal information on you. Just change the email address to a throwaway one and the password to something random and it's as good as gone.
2375  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Contest with $30,000 in GUARANTEED PRIZES now live! on: September 07, 2018, 05:35:21 AM
@TheQuin, the pay with altcoins function doesn't seem to be wroking on the site (not sure if it's just me or not though)...

It's not just you, thanks for letting us know. Shapeshift is giving a 404 so it looks like they have changed something at their end. It might be something to do with the announcement earlier this week that they are moving to mandatory accounts and full KYC.

Edit.

It is indeed due to the changes at Shapeshift that now require you to have an account with them. Does anyone know of an alternative service?

~

I have answered all that bullshit countless times, there is no need to keep posting it. While you and the other kids were at summer camp wetsuit gave me much greater responsibilities at freebitco.in which means I'll be doing all the day to day running of the site. Sadly that also means I'll no longer have time to make fun of your stupidity. I'm going to follow wetsuit's lead and put you on my ignore list now.
2377  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Contest with $30,000 in GUARANTEED PRIZES now live! on: September 06, 2018, 10:00:27 AM
Well the start of what he said was sort of right (probably the broken clock principle).

Not really and I already answered him so many times I'm not going to waste my time repeating myself and replying to him in the future. I would have thought summer camp would have given him time to think up something new. Sadly he can't think so it is the broken record again.

In gambling, some people win and some people lose. The house edge means that the house will come out on top over a much larger sample size, luck evens out. If everyone was a loser then gambling would have ceased to exist.

This reminded me something: did you guys figure it out how to "give back" those coins from the bots? Last thing I read you were trying to think about something more creative.

I'm still looking for suggestions of an exciting way to do it.

On a 2.5x multiplier it is quite normal to get streaks of over 30.

What do you mean?

Probabilities. You were placing a bet to give a 2.5x return. When you put that in the bet odds on the multiply page it tells you that you have a 38.00% win chance. So there is a 62% chance that any bet will lose.

Use a calculator like http://completecurrencytrader.com/streak-probability-calculator.php#book_wrap

Tell it how many bets you will place, the streak length and loss probability and see how likely it is to happen.

I only used 500 bets on this example but I'd normally look at least 10000 to get a good idea.

2380  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Contest with $30,000 in GUARANTEED PRIZES now live! on: September 05, 2018, 11:11:29 AM
Yeah I got 128000 wagering with 0.03+ BTC.
@thequin, could we have a way to convert reward point into lottery tickets directly (maybe at a good rate like 1rp = 3 tickets)?

I'm a bit cautious on that idea as that would allow the bots to get 3x the lottery tickets as well.
