2361  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Antminer S1 Sales open] Price changes daily, now 0.893 BTC for 180GH/s on: April 13, 2014, 04:20:24 PM

Guys its been at least 2 out of 10 of bitmain that were used (much dust), and also overclocked!

Are they serious? How can they have warranty when they send them o'cked?

Support also sucks, sorry.
Bitmain, any comment on this Huh Angry

Check this guy:

People-Bitmain is using miners for own benefit by "checking" if they work. End of story. Why all miners before your own setup have credentials like:

pool-xxx.xxx.xxx

worker- anntminer 123

Dont be surprised about any of this fact. Some miners are from 2014 batch and some coming still from 2013??? This means they was mining for them, why you think price is low and they can still deliver units? I stopped to complaint about dust and overcloked units. Whats the point?

This is 5 units on sale in UK if anyone interested from me: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=560828.msg6117056#msg6117056
All taxes paid and ready to ship.
2362  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Antminer S1 Sales open] Price changes daily, now 0.893 BTC for 180GH/s on: April 09, 2014, 01:28:51 PM
Better to just buy from pbmining. Less trouble
amusing when newbies throwing stuff like that one above.
2363  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Antminer S1 Sales open] Price changes daily, now 0.893 BTC for 180GH/s on: April 08, 2014, 05:51:24 PM
over 20k and they cant manage to fucking refund me my 1.886BTC ... FUCKING ASSHOLES!

I think you will get coupons not refund.
I saw somewhere someone who was asking for refund and he got coupons for full amount.
2364  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [Antminer S1-Uk stock]6 units up for sale on: April 08, 2014, 10:32:22 AM
TBH Silverbox - if you ask silly prices, you'll get silly comments. Not that IYFTech's comments are at all silly, quite the opposite in fact.

No longer interested, sorry.

hi

if 0.35btc higher than bitmain  with psu and taxes paid are silly price good luck to find better deal. and if you rather have unit unchecked delivered instead of checked and sure it's working i don't know what kind of world I'm living.
constructive comments are always welcome.
If i was bitmain maybe I would charge same price but I'm not.
good luck
2365  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [Antminer S1-Uk stock]6 units up for sale on: April 08, 2014, 10:04:46 AM
Please no silly offers. At this moment S1 are out of stock. And will probably not come back soon.

Actually, they are in stock for BTC0.893 right now. Even if they weren't, your price is far too high for a used unit, especially with your trust feedback.

Suggest you re-evaluate your prices.......

Cheers.

hi
thanks for comment, items was delivered 4 days ago and been tested only. so don't know where this "used" come from. at this moment after customs you paying around 310 per unit. so with psu this is good deal. and what's wrong with my trust, why price must reflect my trust rating? suggest you think before writing...

Actually, I get the tax back - so that's not an issue. But even if I didn't, the last 4 units I got from Bitmain would have cost me £88 - £22 each.....

All units are used if they have been opened & connected, as yours have.

But hey, good luck  Wink
about this opened and connected units you went to far. But good jokes are always appreciated. silly me that I actually checked if they worked or not, what's the point of sending checked units. better to send unchecked and then pretend everything is fine. This is you way of thinking.   Thanks to comment like that I can see what kind of people are here. ohh and forget to mention that normal people dont get the tax back.
I would suggest stay away if you not interested as you start trolling this thread by silly comments.

regards

I just dont get. Who pays 0.893 BTC for an Antminer S1?
Will you ever make it back?

You don't think of it as  paying  0.893 you pay $400US which you convert to BTC just for the purchase  and the chances of making back $400 are pretty good, especially when you factor in the resale value.

this is why they selling so good. ^^+1

my trust feedback is better than yours and few people here did make deal with me so your point about that is missed.
and I'm not forcing anyone to buy. but comment appreciated
2368  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [Antminer S1-Uk stock]6 units up for sale on: April 07, 2014, 11:17:56 PM
Greetings,

That's rather expensive I'm afraid - is that a rock solid price? I might be interested in 1 or 2 without the PSU's, but you'll have to lower the satoshi a tad my man.

Peace.

Maybe you right but after taxes S1  dosn't look that good and no one will sell cheaper or near that.Plus the fact you can run 2 S1 on one PSU will save you around 80-100Gbp.
And for any S1 i include psu- this is rather pretty good deal.

Price is to sell.

2373  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: AntMiner S2 1TH/s Miner (1w/GH/s) on: April 04, 2014, 10:00:39 PM
Well I am trying an email to Bitmain after all.

As the reject and discards.....I cant figure out what else I can try.

I figure they have cost me 4 BTC as a running total.....and their coupons are .02 what a joke.

Will let you guys know what I get back from them on what is the resolution....

Damn I wish I went with 7 S1s in stead.....well the poop is on me.....for taking a chance on a preorder.

By the way I reduced my discard to 1/3 from 1/2 by going to slush but its way too early to say that variance is not to explain that

As everything which is new- first are always guinea pigs for factory.
All the problems will be solved in batch 2 and 3

I did choose s1 instead s2 as they are still overpriced.
Thats why i got more than 1Th for less btc than s2

Sorry
2374  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Antminer S1 Sales open] Price changes daily, now 0.893 BTC for 180GH/s on: April 04, 2014, 09:34:51 PM
Received my 6 miners today with overall customs 250gbp.
Psu didn't arrived yet but cables are done  and everything is ready to hash away.
2375  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: AntMiner S2 1TH/s Miner (1w/GH/s) on: April 03, 2014, 06:30:33 PM
How did you rack mount the ant minter s1's??

Three ants per 22" shelf with power supplies double-sided-tapped to the back of the shelf.

We opened over 1,000 boxes to get our 540 ants setup. Grin

Are you mining for yourselve or maybe selling hashpower?
2376  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Antminer S1 Sales open] Price changes daily, now 0.893 BTC for 180GH/s on: April 02, 2014, 09:40:38 PM
Out of the 11 I've bought over the last month, one had a bad controller, and one was used with some dust on it.  The used one runs like a champ so I have no complaints there.  It took about a week to get a replacement of the controller, and I was really worried because they had terrible communication, but I was able to RMA it and they even sent some swag.  Seems shipping times are back to normal and the payment processing is working fine now.

I always overclock to 375, but you're looking at 50W extra for 10-15 more Gh/s, which might not be worth it if you're electricity is expensive.

Overclocked to 375, your warranty is void? yes?

Yup. Any overclocking and your warranty is void.
The warranty isnt worth shit to begin with after RMA costs and time lost mining. Just OC them!

^^this comment is spot on^^If its dead than yeah, no choice. But s1 is reliable as hell so there should be no problem with overclocking.

2377  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Is this noise level for the Antminer S1 normal? on: April 01, 2014, 07:31:21 PM
Thanks for all the replies. I'm really bad at soldering so to me that's not really an option. I thought possibly the firmware might be dated but it turns out I have the latest one. Huh

I'll try replacing the fan. If that doesn't work I don't know what I'll do. Maybe turn it off at night.

I tried using one of my PC case's fans but it didn't fit. It's weird. The fan from my PC case has a 4 pin connector but it's a different 4 pin connector. Maybe because the one from the Antminer is a higher powered fan? I'll try to go at my local computer store and see if they have that model of fans.

Ok maybe i went to far with this soldering.
Try this simple thing-cut red wire and put 47ohm resistor from one end to other end of red wire.
Once this is done max voltage on fan will be cut at least in 1/3 so this will slow down this fan and will make it more quiet.
But there is down side of it- if miner will got hot fun will not speed up to cool it.

I will make few photos and will show you how easy it is.

replacing a fun will not help as probably :
a. controller is fucked and gives order to full speed for fun-so dosnt matter what fun you will use it will spin full speed.
Try to connect to other blade same fun and see if this will help. Maybe just simply changing blade will help.
2378  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Is this noise level for the Antminer S1 normal? on: March 31, 2014, 11:22:24 PM
If I go into my Antminer's status screen, under Status, and Miner status, it says that the RPM of my fan is 15120. The temperature of both blades is at 35. I would be really curious to know the speed of the fan from other users on this forum.

This is nuts. I'm supposed to sleep in the next room. If I can't find a solution for this I'll have to turn it off at night and that'll just kill my possible ROI.

Ok, so at 40c fan spins about 2700rpm.
This might be temp sensor or fan speed controler.
If you want to slow it down as far as i remember put 47ohm resistor in to red wire.this will cut 12v in half.

Just measure voltage on wires and a bit of soldering and job done.
2379  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Antminer S1 Sales open] Price changes daily, now 0.893 BTC for 180GH/s on: March 28, 2014, 01:58:16 PM
funny that you talking trash about trust and respect.
do you know what this actually means?
obviously not.
someone like you should be banned from using them two words.  false feedback just to look better, bulshit how nice you are but earning trust on someone shoulders.

I will closely watch you to make sure newbie or people without knowledge not gonna fall in to your crap. being said already no one needs middle man. and coupons anyone can get from bitmain directly. so I suggest you that story about how nice you are save it for someone else not here.
2380  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Antminer S1 Sales open] Price changes daily, now 0.893 BTC for 180GH/s on: March 28, 2014, 01:36:35 PM
crover, you have 0 trust. localbitcoins account created nearly 2 years and only 24 trades?
so let me get this straight: u giving away free coupons by making orders from others,  than later u saying because you nice.  In meantime you calling people trolls because they can see what you doing.  Later you giving yourselve feedback from other account, to make it look more trustable.
you calling yourselve reseller and support but u not in control of anything.starting from Bitcoins right to the hardware included.
so thanks to bitmain you want to get trust to start doing what?
that's really great intention. people definitely will appreciate that.

My advice to you is: Start behaving like adult. you want to do something do it. create group buy or what ever you want. don't make things worse by giving yourselve feedback,  stop giving bulshit with second account and.most important slow your role in this thread. at this moment you not even close to reseller or support as you claims. people have eyes and can see who are you.
