1461  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: STOP BUYING MINING HARDWARE on: October 04, 2014, 02:19:49 PM
BTC mining can be profitable if someone of manufacturers will offer powerful hardware but with really good price.  Smiley In fact, there is no such hardware at the moment.
To say truth, I would be happy much more if there will be powerful altcoin miners.

Let see this circle:

1.let say ASIC creating chip
2.same asic creating miner
3.announcing miner(for preorder) or just to create HYIP
4.mining with miner as much as possible
5.once mining is barely profitable or near to ROI sale is announced
6.miner delivered start same life like in point 4.
7.end user loosing btc and see mining is not profitable in small scale.

And again new version of miner is announce and circle closed.

Mining at home is dead as hell. All btc was stolen for preorders or will be mined before miner will reach end user.

1462  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTCJam.com problems on: October 04, 2014, 11:16:32 AM
Are you actually active lender? because "..i heard scam rate is much lower...." is not enough to be sure it is and to drive people there.  don't get me wrong scams can go anywhere but what they doing differently that others so i suposed to trust THEM?
Hi s1lverbox,
There are a number of things which differentiate BitLendingClub from BTCJam. I would say that the 3 major ones are (in order):

  • BitLendingClub does not charge a transaction fee at loan closing. The fees are taken from the loan repayments, which means that if the lender doesn't get paid then we don't get our fee. This has resulted in a 96% average loan repayment rate, compared to BTCJam's 90% loan repayment rate.
  • The transaction fee is effectively 1/2 of that of BTCJam. BTCJam charges 4% for all loans up until 5 BTC, and then 1% after that. We charge 2% across the board and with 99% of the loans being under 5BTC, that results in 1/2 of the BTC fee for nearly everybody.
  • Interest rates are set by the free market. The investors compete to offer lower interest rates, by participating in a dutch-auction style bidding to offer the lowest interest rate.

There are many other reasons and benefits:

When we are building the platform, we always keep our user's needs in mind. Of course, we have to feed our families too, so revenue is important, but we've taken every step to align our interest with the lenders. This means that we do everything within our power to attract good borrowers and to filter out bad players. It's not always easy, but we work closely with the community to identify any issues.
Best Regards,
Kiril Gantchev
CEO of BitLendingClub
http://bitlendingclub.com

Thanks for quick response. i might give it a shot.

1472  Economy / Lending / Re: [EDU] LIST OF USERS WITH OVERDUE AND OPEN LOANS on: October 03, 2014, 11:32:25 AM
Check my sig and in first post from that sig I have 3 different accounts who defaulted me.

account thono, is in my possession so once sold amount will cover the loan.

I think that u might add as well section in first post about accounts as collateral been used.

like stated before thono is taken as collateral but once sold will have new keeper.

I have another user watoshi...which defaulted me but person who has that account paid me off and account is for sale as well in his thread.

I'm not really doubting the Silverfox loan but the other ones. It's those that look like shills to me.

i did made few loans for Op with collateral provided. I hope u made that mistake (in bold) by mistake. im not even grey or sneaky so why silverfox? ??;-)
1475  Economy / Lending / Re: [Offering] Loans for trusted members on: October 03, 2014, 10:45:23 AM
All this BTC lending looks more like kid game in the playground. So called lenders ask for collateral like bank. Grin

yeah. you right.

no one cares about you and your silly comment so i  suggest spread that silly thoughts in your own thread or take hike...

Why just don't you go to bitlendingclub.com? They move very fast with identification trust me you will not regret. I waited one week for btcjam to verify my id and after 4 rejects whitout any explanation why or what should i do, not even an answer, i decided to try BLC. Guess what, in one day my account was full verified and my loan is funding right now Cheesy

quick verification dosnt necessarily means better service. They can just take on board anyone to reach some level of active accounts because that's how they makes money and if something will go wrong they will pack and long time gone.
