2361  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin Asset performance Q1 2023 on: March 20, 2023, 02:08:10 PM
There's no doubt to the genuine fact that bitcoin has been on a good performance since the beginning of this year over other assets, not only that but bitcoin risk adjustment on return as an investment has been found to be the most adjustable digital asset all over the world, this came after ut was found again more profitably secured, this was a publication made by the Goldman Sach, which make this perfect identification on bitcoin because it has been found on an outstanding performances since the beginning of the year 2023 despite the bullrun is yet to begin, there's every possibility that this current dip will soon end base on positive indications from bitcoin performance as an asset since the beginning of this year as the 2023 Q1 research.

2362  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how much money is considered as "invest only what you can afford to lose" on: March 20, 2023, 01:43:55 PM
Why this had always been said is for people to have mind on what they are taking to be risk no matter how small or big it is, this will help in case of unforeseen circumstances whereby loosing becomes an inevitabe thing to do with, as according to your capacity of investment so is the risk involved either you invested alot or not, but considering bitcoin for investment, you're likely not to loose your entire investment but only part of it due to volatility but some people will not still accept that, and this makes other cryptocurrencies to have more risk taking because you can loose your entire investment while dealing with them, ut wjen you are aware it's an amount you could afford to loose should be invested, then its like gamble whereby there's no certainly of winning or loosing but you're taking the risk to win.
2363  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Effective Approaches to Trading Cryptocurrencies for Profit on: March 18, 2023, 03:03:00 PM
To engage on bitcoin trading, one needs to learn about it on a practical level and gain experience before trading, choosing a particular trading strategy also requires careful observations before concluding on the best pattern to use, observe how to speculate orice onbthe chart and work on your strategy, always keep in mind that you cannot lost your investment completely when trading but loose part of it due to volatility and make more profitability when it surges.
2364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Eth could perform better due to deflationary on: March 18, 2023, 02:45:25 PM
With what i can see for now, there's no other coin that can overcome bitcoin price during a bullrun no matter how they try hard the more they see lesser, the economy of bitcoin already set the pace other coins follows, as bitcoin go a little dip other coins fall massively but in the opposite way doesn't applies if bitcoin rises they also double the potential rising as bitcoin did, but their market cap and market volume during this period determines how far they can move.
2365  Economy / Economics / Re: What do you think of gold price in long term? on: March 18, 2023, 02:22:33 PM
One of the most valuable physical asset I will always love to have is gold but for the fact that possessing it requires going through a KYC procedures from where you want to acquire it makes it more difficult for so many people to use it as their moat preferred asset not until bitcoin set in, the price favourable because it also increases with time, but gold profitability follows after bitcoin in order of preference on asset and ever remain valuable.
2366  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Dose drugs have an advantage on human being. on: March 17, 2023, 01:16:28 PM
Do you know that taking drugs is to cure us from any impeding illness in our body, taking overdose of it turn detrimental to is as well and a continuous intake of drugs is what turns a medical term often referred as drug addiction, which is a clear understanding that we need to apply moderacy in everything we do and must not allow taking too much of drugs becomes a habit in us because of the side effects, we can introduce diets and exercise as substitute for taking frequent drugs.
2367  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin can do 30k$ this month? on: March 17, 2023, 12:47:41 PM
If we are to go by the news feeds amd updates regarding bitcoin price, many have made alot of wrong predictions that makes no difference in determining the outcome to what bitcoin price gives, bo we have to personally sit down and take a look in the the full dimension of how bitcoin price move by giving it a closer speculation onbthe chart flow and by comparing other events from the past on exact dates, this will help us detive out something more tangible than going by every distractions we heard from the news feeds everytime.
2368  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Because of the love I have for bitcoin on: March 16, 2023, 02:49:58 PM
because of the love I have for bitcoin I have to introduced it to my junior workers in the shop where I work, while telling them about bitcoin club an crypto space they where so happy an interested in the topic

Let them unde the pros and cons in dealing with bitcoin as well, provided that they were your Juniors and hold your integrity in hand means you must also learn to maintain your reputation you have with them by explaining bitcoin in details to them onnjow one can invest, lost his asset or make profits so that it wouldn't be a surprise to them whenever bitcoin is highly volatile on a bearish trend a d they begin to loose focus and sell off because of fear of missing out.
2369  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is Bitcoin always affected on: March 16, 2023, 02:28:28 PM
My question is, why is Bitcoin market always affected by all economics news, example is the issues with US bank like the SVB.

The effect of nees affects bitcoin price there's no doubt but not all the news and nit to a reasonable extent it got to affect it, bitcoin price has many other factors that dictates the flow of it price conditions of which the role and influence of news is one, demand and supply is another reason to this, only the economic and financial news on digital technology has more impact especially when the news is captivating a d fast circulating on certain event or occurrence believed to be true or false.
2370  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there anything like Bitcoin savings? on: March 16, 2023, 02:14:10 PM
is it possible to also creat a Bitcoin wallet and always send Bitcoin to it as a savings? if you do that for some year without going back to the wallet, will anything happen to your Bitcoin or the wallet?

It is very possible and easy to do, this will even give you more control over your financial assets than with using banks, just have two decentralized wallets and use one for your regular daily expenses, you need to secure the keys very well when using a cold storage like electrum, you can also get yourself a hardware wallet at an affordable price and be sending your bitcoin to it as you so wishes and nothing will happen to your bitcoin than the volatility which is more likely to favours you over a time because of bullrun since you're holding.
2371  Economy / Economics / Re: Money and education on: March 15, 2023, 10:20:46 AM
If we are to look into the current contemporary world of today, we could see how things were not balance in many ways about education and money, those having the money to afford paying the cost for education don't sometimes take education with all seriousness while those incapable of paying their cost for education has more interest in learning but have no financial bouyancy, we value less what we have unless we are loosing it or don't have it at all.
2372  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Loans and credits facilities on BTC. on: March 15, 2023, 10:05:39 AM
Is there loan and credits facilities on BTC that one can obtain and pay back

Even right on this forum there's a board (lending) where members offers loans and other valuables for loan to other members and you will have to stake your address used in signing a message on the forum or have anything valuable to serve as qualateral for the loan you want to take, also considers the need before going for it because there's a certain percentage you will be charged for taking loan, read their requirements for eligibility before applying.
2373  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as treasure. on: March 15, 2023, 09:44:58 AM
To me, bitcoin is an investment and also a treasure, I don't know if am wrong or right.

Bitcoin is an investment asset fine and good to call it, but is every of your investments not your property? Of course they are your property because you have them in possession but only onna digital form and that's why the most preferred term to be used for it more appropriately is an investment and not property vut in the same vein it's still your property because you own it, we most times refers physical assets as property while digital ones as investment but all are your possessions, just a difference on terms we call each one of them.
2374  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin cannot be a Bank? on: March 14, 2023, 01:42:30 PM
Snipped

Should incase you come across someone telling you all these unrealistic dreams about bitcoin, all you need to do is in giving them a response that "p2p is the solution to them all" because you can easily exchange your bitcoin through p2p in less than a minute and oay for the need you want to settle, and as a matter of fact, some people, businesses and organizations have already been including bitcoin acceptance in making their payment, but i understand location differences may be a barrier but should in cas you have such, don't let anyone decieve you, bitcoin is a digital currency and most of the landlords or petty traders might not have upgraded to this era, so use p2p to exchange your bitcoin to fiat for them.
2375  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some of the most common mistakes we make as beginners, and how to avoid them. on: March 14, 2023, 01:30:06 PM
Some people believe that these forums are simply places where we can come and succeed in life if we participate in them. This is not the case

For the fact that you're not into ponzi schemes doesn't mean you cannot still make it in life on a quicker track through this forum, this platform is the only community I've ever seen that guide one through a right path in life because you learn here in different aspects, you build a career here, you participate in a campaign if you so wish, you meet people and relate, you got exposed to the real world here because this platform constitute every potential and positive thoughts thinking people allover the world with a common goal, which is bitcoin and many other opportunities that may come through that while being on the forum.
2376  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: ALL Newbies you must know this (Getting merits) on: March 14, 2023, 01:16:04 PM
it is pure discrimination and disrespect for members who have been here for over 10 years and have built their ranks with their efforts and merits.

Please can you explain what you meant by this statement? because I can't figure out what exactly you're trying to oass across here and it wouldn't be good if you're passing a message but in a wrong approach, the more why it is also needed for you to build up yourself and proofread your post before posting it in case of misconception errors like this.

I like that the Forum works on the principle that you will get as much as you deserve and I want to explain to all new members that the community should work like that

Even when the whole personal interest of an individual is on selfish interest that should be allowed?
Even when someone post shit he should have acess to receive enough merit to grow with ranks?

But let me ask you maybe if you have ever heard about this saying, "you can sow a corn and reap a yam". If you understand the indepth of what this means you will understand why you need to work for everything you may deserve from the forum.

Anything outside the forum's rules and regulations is void and null.

try to help others and the results will come.

Try help yourself first.

What will 1000 merit you if you didn't deserve any, you shouldn't be greedy, it didn't bring anyone anything good in life.

Maybe you don't know, having upto a thousand or more merits shows hiw serious, active and being committed you have been on this forum and the more you keep getting signifies that you maintain such steadfast.

2377  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you know who you are? on: March 13, 2023, 06:57:48 AM
I don't need anyone to tell me who i am because I've discovered my potentials, i work on them and build a reputable career for myself, i also set some targets as milestones and got them hitted by my relentless efforts in achieving success in life, when one discovers who he is, then no one can come challenging you about anything concerning yourself because you have already taken full responsibility for yourself right before their coming.
2378  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hello bitcointalkers! Public and private keys/open and closed source wallet? on: March 13, 2023, 06:42:27 AM
What I don't understand is the difference between open source and closed source wallets. How do they work, and how can you tell if a wallet is open source or closed source?

Under decentralized wallets we have either an open source or close source wallet, but i still don't understand why some decentralized exchanges will make their own wallet with the features of being a close source, this means you have no access to see their source code that can be use in  tracking any information needed about the open since it is not made available for public, but don't take an open source wallet for a centralized wallet as a newbie, open source means they are open and make everything going on through thier wallet open to the public, which is being transparent enough to me, i see no reason for hiding their source code if nothing phishy though.
2379  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Do you know what is hiding behind Centralized exchanges User Agreement? on: March 13, 2023, 06:07:01 AM
We need to understand this fact about centralized exchanges that they can never be or turn to a decentralized one no matter how because they are already a third party exchange, in case you come across some of them offering you a wallet in a decentralized mode don't fall for it and be careful, centralized exchange will always be and nothing can make them not regardless of what they are presenting to offer and they share same risk in common.
2380  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: STABLE COINS DEPEGGING: Warning for the Newbies on: March 11, 2023, 02:35:24 PM
You can agrees with me that stable coins has been depegged in the past and this can still happen but it's not something that is common unlike the tokens, we have to take caution of the type of coins we go for, what project are they specifically running under, who are their sponsors or developers, the research we take could also help, a d we have to look into their financial capability as well, usdt and other few are trusted but there are some stable coins that are already detestable from hearing about them.
