2361  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you lose on slots? on: April 12, 2023, 08:58:07 PM
i play slots hoping to win 'big win' or 'jackpot' but many times it don't hits and my balance get drained after betting many times in one slot machine. hoping it already took my so much balance it will definitely going to hit this times, but it never happens, and my balance becomes "0".

so i am sharing some tips to avoid this type of losing streak or bad luck in slots.
here it starts:

1. always set a budget for playing slots and stick to it. do not chase losses or try to win back what you have lost by playing more.
2. if a slot machine does not hit in 7-10 spins, consider trying a different machine. this can help you avoid getting stuck on a losing streak and losing more money.
3. if you have been playing a slot machine for 50 spins and have not gotten any free spins or big wins, consider switching to a different machine.
this can help you avoid wasting money on a machine that is unlikely to pay out.
4. avoid playing slots from Pragmatic and Gamomat as they tend to have low payout percentages and are not as likely to result in big wins.
5. be careful when playing slots from Belatra and Spinomenal as they can be unpredictable and may not always pay out as expected.
6. if you do hit a big win, consider tipping any nearby players who may have been unlucky or busting. This can help spread good karma and keep the atmosphere positive.
7. avoid getting "slot psychosis" where you get stuck on one machine for too long. remember that slots are based on random chance and there is no guaranteed way to win.
so, take breaks, switch machines and remember to have fun!

It would have been super nice if you had included "play responsibly" but however, the list so far is full and loud to hear. Self discipline is what it takes to control lose when gambling. Many people are guilty of all you have clearly stated above and no doubt you are talking from experience because it only takes one with experience to write such modalities and possible prevention tips for  a gambler to follow. So far, OP has been able to get through in itemizing or  listing some possible guidelines for averting excessive lose in the course of gambling and I do commend op for doing this effort.

If this measures are followed, I believe there would not be much loses and gambling addiction would gradually and drastically reduce.
2362  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can owning 1 Bitcoin make you rich in 2023? on: April 11, 2023, 08:29:51 PM
I came to know about Bitcoin as everyone here did it was from my friend. I was living as usual a life controlled by the government and its banks. I was not angry about my life, still I had the anger to be someone who can succeed.
I had somewhat good childhood but I always saw my parents struggling to get those fiat. It did saddened me as I saw my parents living a routine life and still did not enjoy it.
Now I know why they were always struggling to get the ends meet. I do not.know whether anyone here can relate to the same experience of my parents
When I understood the true potential of Bitcoin. I joined this forum as I am not someone who can spare the money required to invest for 1BTC.
So, my question is can Bitcoin give a life that I dreamt as a child. Is it possible to gain financial freedom? What exactly does financial freedom means in context of Bitcoin?
# Please ignore my typo and spelling mistake.
Thanks!

OP i was wondering if you have really take out your time to study more about bitcoin as stated in your "context". I think if you do, you will  really understand what you are into on this platform. If you are thinking of a get rich quick scene through bitcoin then i must say you will have to look for an alternative option because bitcoin ownership is not a bed of roses.

According to your topic, bitcoin price compared to other national currencies is sumptuous. I do not know where you are from so i can not tell about  you but for some countries, it is very costly that  BTC1 could get a lot of things for any holder.  You can buy it in fractions as you can afford to and  hold for a long term so that when the price of bitcoin appreciate in value, your invest appreciate as well.
2363  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: CBN want to close bank accounts yet to link their bvn. on: April 11, 2023, 05:31:53 PM
I think say CBN don close bank accounts wey no they linked to any BVN tay tay oh, i they surprised say na now them wan do am, i know see any reason why person no go wan get BVN and link it to their bank account, except na because of ignorance, but if no be that one e fit be say the person they use the account for fraud and money laundering, na BVN they help the CBN to curb fraud somewhat easily in the banking sector, so for people wey never do this, make them go link their BVN to their bank account before CBN close am down.

Meanwhile the new naira note wey Dem dey talk about no dey in circulation again. I no know wether anybody don notice am because me I don dey take eye to see if I go get or see the new naira note.
2364  Economy / Economics / Re: Without government job we can survive on: April 11, 2023, 04:07:51 PM

They have to create their own jobs to survive, there are still many simple things that can be done if they don't have the capital to open a business.

Yes mate your very correct. Waiting for the government to create employment is not feasible what if the  government fails to meet up with the expectations of the her citizens, what would then be the outcome? Will the citizens fight the government or otherwise? This is the reason why one must be on the productivity mindset so as to be on track.

Being creative, you can have skills that can fetch you a source of income, you can do trade to make profit. There are lots of petty street business which does not require any much capital to start up. One can get engaged in that exercise so as to survive than waiting for government job which no one knows when it would commence and even of it happens the possibility of securing a spot for yourself is just limited as they have their lackeys, cronies and family to fill up the slots available maybe just nothing or a few slot would be out for the citizenry.
2365  Economy / Economics / Re: Quit borrowing on: April 11, 2023, 03:44:57 PM
When handled responsibly, borrowing can be beneficial, but issues can occur when it becomes a habit or a way to deal with financial troubles. It's crucial to comprehend a loan's terms and conditions and to have a reliable repayment strategy. Different borrowing tactics may apply to businesses and individuals, so it's essential to approach borrowing with caution, taking out only small amounts for brief periods when necessary.

I agree with your opinion mate. In as much as it is not a criminal act to borrow it does not mean that one should take it into a habit. People borrow as a result of some certain things or engagement to sort themselves out but doing it when you have nothing at hand to commiserate with the borrowing is where the issue lies. For instance a businessman borrowing for his or her business is well understood that the business would yield profit for the repayment of the loan vise versa. Borrowing when you have no source of repayment can be very dissappointing and as such why loan givers must always demand for a collateral for the loan so they could get from the collateral what the borrower could not pay back.
In all, one should not get addicted to borrowing and if you must borrow, you must have a repayment plan to cover the time interval of your loan agreement based on the terms and conditions of the loan organization.
2366  Economy / Gambling / Re: PromoTout.com New Gambling & Sports Betting Tutorials & Promotions Site on: April 11, 2023, 02:57:31 PM
Hey everyone. I recently started a new site that posts gambling and sportsbetting guides, articles & promotions. Would you mind taking a quick look and letting me know what you think so far?
We’re at promotout.com
If you have any other ideas for how we can grow please let me know!

OP you have a wonderful idea to be developed. It is good you came up with this Idea so that both new bie and old gamblers still struggling to win together with addicted ones can read and gain more insight into the gambling world and how things rotate there but your I had to patiently go through your site for a review. To be frank, your site is not appealing  as I managed to spend a little time reading through.

I also noticed  from your website there is a possibility of you making available a question and answer session as it is a site of that nature, there would be traffic on it and many gamblers would be curious about some tips and knowledge gain from your site and would be in the  state or mode of asking questions so as to get more insight of what they have read.

Lastly, from all what I have seen on your website, I would just sum up to conclusion that your website is just made up of articles and nothing more. I think you should work on it and get more lively display and catchy UI features.
2367  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blockchain Casinos - Consumer's Choice 2023! on: April 11, 2023, 02:22:36 PM
OP, I took my time to go through the criteria for your awards recipient nominee categories. I checked that of the best blockchain casino awards and I found this "Features live casino, table, and jackpot games from top-tier casino providers and a good selection of sports betting markets"  it baffles me because so far onboard this platform, I have only come across just one casino with such futures onboard the bitcointalk platform I do not know if others have such futures. I think this particular criteria can mar others from clinching to the award as I see majority of the casino do not have such futures so therefore, I will suggest the award team look into this particular criteria for a review of the process.
2368  Economy / Gambling / Re: NAKAMOTO ROULETTE - open and live! on: April 11, 2023, 12:42:53 PM
This is live casino? This is my first time to see a live stream casino like this as you can see other real life players it's more like a CCTV but I have some questions, the bets here is there a delay like sports betting? Does anyone played in this gambling site? I wanted to read some reviews first before trying this one, have anyone successfully withdraw in the site?
Are you only offering roulette? or do you have other casinos you can offer?

So far this is the first live stream bitcoin casino I have seen and it amazes me that the casino is running live 24 hours Service uninterrupted.  The bets are live for you to see. The process is probably fiat mate as you see when the bet is going on coupled with the roulette going live and the winnings are show there live for players to see for themselves.  I just like the transparency being displayed by the Nakamoto team in delivering Service.

I can conveniently tell you that I got some  sats to play on their website which I was very interesting to do. Talking about withdrawal, this casino uses lightning wallet for withdrawal but I have not attempted making any withdrawal but if you check previous comment, some one claimed withdrawing from the casino and claimed the transaction scaled through.
2369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are lotteries really a good way to engage with gamblers? on: April 11, 2023, 12:17:57 PM
Would you guys mind sharing you vision on the following:
-Do you personally take part in lotteries by online casinos?
-Do you track the progress and results of such campaigns?
-If so, are there any changes you would offer to make lotteries more exciting?
All in all, any discussion on the topic is welcome c:

To be frank with you, I personally do not bother about anything lotteries not only that, let me put it straight,  casino  give away packages do not really entice me as I have been designed to work to deriving my rewards and ends meet. Lotteries mostly have a million enteries for just a single bonus or wins then what is the possibility or tendency that one would be able to   scale through to be at the number spot after the lottery final stage of announcing the winner.

You see, when it comes to lottery the above is why I do not bother myself joining the cue so I do not get hurt with the hope of being the winner of the lottery when the results is being announced.

Lastly I do not bother looking into lottery tickets and all of lottery stuffs because the process does not seems clear to me so why bother myself with it when I do not take part in the exercise.
2370  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am now a Bitcoin investor on: April 11, 2023, 01:23:56 AM
Accumulate as possible because those can be a good factor in future investments, if you are holding those coins it could be pump or dumped of course must need to make sure you have the capability to handle the mental instability because of the possible news, info, you can get in the internet about the future of the bitcoin. If you have the budget to get an investment with bitcoin why not buy a good wallet such as cold wallets for your coins security this could be a good and head start move.
The first thing about the OP is that he has chosen the best asset in the crypto space as his investment, which is great. While I don't care how much he currently has, the most important thing is that he has it. We never know what the price per satoshi will be in the future if the OP really wants to hold his bitcoin in the long term, at least it will be profitable in my opinion.
$100 can become $300 when bitcoin reaches ATH $90k, but of course it takes long time to see for real. Another suggestion for the OP is, buy as long as you have the budget, but don't force yourself to invest if you still need the budget to make ends meet.

It is good OP purchased bitcoin as an investment which is not bad.  Being a bitcoin holder/investor does not only mean you being in possession of some fractions of bitcoin though there is no problem about that but knowing bitcoin and why it was invented is another thing. I think this is the best time to buy more because there is every possibility that bull run is near and can start any moment from now. Now is the right time to feel your bags. Another thing you should do is making sure your bitcoin are stored in your private wallet not with a third party custodial wallet otherwise if anything happens, your assets are all gone. Remember the phrase "not your keys, not your coin".
2371  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: are you a long time hodler? on: April 10, 2023, 09:29:47 PM
Yes I am holding for long and I have bitcoin I have already kept safe for my long term holding and some for emergency as well. I had to do this because of my experience sometimes last month which I learnt something from. So after that occurrence, I had to do it these three ways; to separate my Long term holding, my emergency savings and trading so as not to interfare with any of them in any situation. I trade on daily basis with my trading account so I collect my profit as it pleases me to do.
People trading techniques varies so their time of trading too.

It is nice having you here OP. I see you already upgraded your account to a copper member which shows your experience as a good marketer and your regards for forum policies. I had to check your website I noticed you have a board for tutorials which is a welcome development as I rarely see casinos with that feature. Atleast for you to have that feature your potential customers would try it and have knowledge of how your games roll.

Another thing I looked out for was your license and as usual, most casino do showcase their various licenses on their website for their potential customers to see so as to have confidence in their services rendered but I could not see any thing of such on your website and where you are operating from.

It is good you identified with this great platform with a huge number of traffic but I must say your chances are very narrow because you would have big names here to contend with in terms of popularity and awareness. So therefore I will urge you to seek the expertise of reputable campaign manager @Royse777 for the promotion of your casino. Feel free to contact him and he is well known in this forum.
Once again welcome to the bitcointalk platform.
2373  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blockchain Casinos - Consumer's Choice 2023! on: April 10, 2023, 02:37:05 PM
Attention all blockchain casino enthusiasts!

We want to hear from you! As part of the CasinosBlockchain Awards 2023, we are conducting a poll to find out which blockchain casino is the most popular in our community. So, if you have a favorite blockchain casino that you love to play at, make sure to cast your vote in our poll. Your opinion matters to us, and the results of the poll will be shared with everyone in the community.

Don't miss out on this opportunity to have your voice heard and to help decide which blockchain casino will be crowned the winner of the CasinosBlockchain Awards 2023. Cast your vote today, and let us know what your favorite blockchain casino is!

OP I do welcome and commend your efforts to recognizing blockchain casinos and not only that, also seeing this platform to casting a vote to choose and comment on their best casinos for the awards. It is a welcome development mate.  This would call for more competition amongst the casinos to deliver good Services to their participants. And for those already up to standard and doing good,  they would receive some accolades for their good Services.

If I may ask you OP, before you come up with this I believe there must have been some delebration on this award and the recipients of the awards. So what are the set criteria for choosing the listed names for the awards you mentioned above because for sure as you have asked participants to send in their list or names of casinos they would do that and possibly some if the casino might not meet up with the criteria for standing up for the contest. So what are the measures, procedures and modalities you used in choosing the eligible casinos for the contest and if possible I would suggest you edit your post and state it so we could see them.
2374  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: How una see this new rules to pass captcha before you post on: April 10, 2023, 02:00:22 PM
Omo no be small thing o. When I see the update I begin wonder wetin happen wey administrator go bring captcha come. I still think am twice to know but on the other hand na 1st of April him make the post so my thoughts go straight to April fool but I reason the matter again say admin no dey too post and when him make post na fast implementation omo na there I know say jungle don mature but me I no fear because I know say if na for real, members go appeal for change of captcha format because that game no go well at all.

Omo another thing wey give me mind na as  I begin see senior reputable ranks dey carry the red banner for their head dey Waka for platform na their my mora high say nothing spoil. I continue my work, not minding the captcha and outcome of it.

I know say for sure low quality post na problem for this platform but I believe say management know how to handle the situation of low quality post but this measures fit no urgur well here but at the entire end, na big April fool.
2375  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Suggestion to improve privacy on Bitcointalk on: April 10, 2023, 01:40:25 PM
It is good your idea and based on your citation as regards a member making critique of a posters payment, I think it is because of the openness to access such on this forum hence his comment. You would not blame him because there is always an open floor for criticism so as to make amends anyways.

Making a spreadsheet public somehow is a kind of raising eyes in campaigns and their management. It is not new campaign managers do make their escrow wallet public so that participants would see it for credibility and transparency which is a good thing likewise the details of the applicants to be made public for possible observations too if anyone made a mistake or maybe the details submitted is(are) wrong so they could be called or they call the attention of the campaign manager for necessary actions and corrections but it seems some members now take it as an avenue to scrutinize people's wallet just as the other guy did.

I think that as long as members here are anonymous, it is enough reason that some details such as wallet address submitted for a campaign to manager should be private likewise the spreadsheet and can only be accessed through what ever means the campaign manager deemed fit.

2377  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in times of danger. on: April 10, 2023, 03:24:20 AM
I had been hoarding some bitcoins for a long time. But today I was forced to sell that bitcoin for family needs. Tried a lot but could not manage the required money. Maybe nearing a bull market I sold my bitcoins. I am having a lot of trouble selling this bitcoin I have built up over the years. I am grateful to this bitcoin forum because if it wasn't for this bitcoin forum today I might not have found a solution to my need.

OP you see, emergency is what we can not tell when it will occur. We are not praying for such to happen but we just need to be at alert and prepared at any point in time. Funds whether available or not are meant to be spent. You should be happy you had such savings available to spend to settle the urgent need that came up at that point in time. Bitcoin was initially invented by satoshi to be spent as cash as said by the previous poster so therefore you spending your bitcoin was for a purpose which money would still do.

I have had similar experience months past where I had to do the needful as the pending payment I was expecting did not drop in my account in time and too I can not start initiating the process of cash withdrawal from my other investments so I opted to sell my bitcoin to sort out the emergency at hand with plans of replacing it when my pending credit alert drops in and fortunately enough, it dropped that night and I bought back the volume of bitcoin I sold.

Saving of bitcoin sometimes help too. When the need arises, do the needful to sort out yourself with it.
2378  Economy / Economics / Re: Quit borrowing on: April 10, 2023, 02:54:03 AM
Borrowing as it is has its own consequences and excess of it is not what i fancy. Borrowing when you have a remedy or pay back plan is ok but when you are hoping or depending on a means when you are not sure of it is very much not alright. I believe most times it is not as a result of satisfaction people borrow but at times they encounter emergencies which results to their urgent request for financial aid or assistant to solve their problem immediately.

Borrowing  in terms of setting up a profitable business is not bad. As long as you have set your repayment plan depending on your terms and conditions, it is aright to go with as the business venture for which the loan was taken is profitable enough to repay the loan, running cost and every other financial commitment to service.
2379  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Giving out to promote Bitcoin on: April 10, 2023, 02:30:35 AM
Happy Easter everyone
Today I gave out $20 to 5 random high school students each in a WhatsApp group after of course enlightening them about Bitcoin and conducting a quiz for them I did this in hopes of trying to assist in developing the Bitcoin ecosystem although it's of small impact
I sent the Bitcoin to Thier noncustodial wallet and also enlightened them on how to manage Thier wallet
What do you think!?

I commend you for your generous act this season. You have done well OP but i am curious to know more on your interactive session with the students. You said  you had a lecture with them on whatsApp how were you able to decipher that they all really understood what you taught because giving them bitcoin after teaching them when you were not there with them does not guarantee that they really understood the process as you can not tell as they are smart kids. I am not i anyway discrediting your good works but i am just curious as to know.

As the saying goes "health is wealth" it is only a healthy man that can create or make wealth for himself. As we are in the journey of life trying to make earns meet through bitcoin investment, jobs onboard this platform, our professional engagement, our careers etc it is good we take good care of our health because it is only in good health we can think well to make the wealth.

Engage in regular exercise, go for regular check up, stay hydrated, avoid too much alcohol, avoid smoking, give your body enough rest, these are the few tips i can say about but you can do a research to get more tip. It is important that we take it serious as so as not to breakdown unexpectedly.

It is only some one  alive and healthy that can be able to eat of the fruit of his or her labour.

TAKE YOUR HEALTH SERIOUS!
