2361  Economy / Gambling / Re: What else should an established crypto casino add? on: December 16, 2022, 07:28:29 AM
As for the probability, I think you mean odds in sports betting, and what I personally have noticed is that odds can be good on one site for one game, and on another site for another. You will never find a site where odds for all games are better than anywhere.

This also depends on their provider, some companies like Betsson have their own sportsbook department that they are outsourcing to other sports betting operators, so basically whoever is in that chain has the same odds across all matches.

They may have the same odds, but there is such thing as "boosted odds", and, from what I know, it's a particular platform who decides what those odds are going to be. And I think that an established crypto casino should always have slightly different odds at least for some events.

I'm actually new to casinos but some of the casinos I see they always create big event events for the big winners every time at regular intervals. Maybe you can give a unique gift, such as an iPhone, or the latest Android release that they are interested in, jersey is also not bad because betting usually occurs in football.

Yes, giving away some real things, not just money, is a good feature that would not be superfluous on any crypto casino. It can also be a trip to a sports event, or something like that.
2362  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 - Main sponsor of Southampton FC 👋👋 on: December 15, 2022, 01:11:38 PM
Thanks for the free bets Steve, Sportsbet, and also Jeremy! Used it for two semifinal games, but lost the first one :/

Lost it. None of them got right Tongue
But it's still better for getting lost on all of our picks than getting one wrong pick in a multibet.
~

Somehow, I feel the same. Since betting for me is about getting positive emotions, what I'm trying to avoid is getting negative ones instead. One wrong pick in a multibet of six or seven(my usual multibets) is definitely frustrating, so, if I may, I congratulate you,  @jayce, on getting all of them wrong! Smiley
2363  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Real most rewarding Crypto Casino? on: December 15, 2022, 12:27:55 PM
~ Well, I can see you point. If for someone it is more entertaining to treat gambling like business, let it be so. Indeed, free people can choose to entertain themselves however they want, unless other people don't suffer from it. Only if we start treating gambling like business, especially when playing purely luck-based games, we may possibly lose so much money that our close ones can be affected. And that's what I'm warning against.

But the topic is about finding those casinos that are "really most rewarding", not about whether we should treat gambling more for entertainment, or more "like a business". Plus I don't agree that because a user is trying to look for better casino rewards, he is simply treating gambling like a business. No, a user SHOULD always look for better rewards for losing all his money in the casinos. If the reward is not that good, why lose money there? Lose it where he/she will be rewarded better. Cool

If by "reward" you mean dopamine release in the brain, I totally agree with you, but if the reward is money, no. I insist that seeking for a "most rewarding Crypto Casino" is dangerous. Because you can "find" one and win a lot of money during your first several days of playing there, and it can be the beginning of disaster for you, if you don't know that gambling should never be treated like a way of making money.

I'm not debating you in what you're thinking, I was merely talking about OP's main points, in that he's looking for the casino that gives the best rewards whether or not the person is gambling for relaxation and entertainment, or if he/she is gambling for profit/treating it like a business.

I believe there's also a third type of gambler. Plebs like me who wants a challenge in mastering the game. That's why I'm playing only Craps because it's not entirely gambling. Craps is designed for strategy, it's not like Sic Bo.

I know, I'm not arguing with you either. Smiley What I wrote was intended at others who might read posts in this thread. I think it's very important to keep reminding people that they should never treat gambling as a way of making money. For me personally the most rewarding casino is where I take a break from my daily routine, and relax to such a degree that I can do my main job more effectively, making more money in a shorter period of time. That's what I'm trying to convey to people, gambling can help you with earning more money, but you should be earning money not through gambling, but through something 100% skill-based.

~Thye are getting a huge amount of money. That's the reason why they are involved
with gambling, not only limited to cockfight but the whole gambling activities
with the involvement of most government officials.

I don't know, does cockfighting attract many gamblers, I mean, worldwide?

There's an article in Bloomberg, saying that "Online Cockfighting Wagers Rake in Billions in the Philippines". In the article they say that only one group’s revenue each month is about 1.5 billion Philippine Pesos($27 million USD), and that's a huge money, but is there another country like the Philippines in this regard?
2365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is The Gambling Industry Part Of The Domino Effect That Happens In The Market on: December 15, 2022, 11:01:57 AM
- Do you think The Gambling Industry Is Part Of The Domino Effect That Happens In The Market?

TBH I have never heard of any gambling site (wherever I've played till date) that they ran away with anyone's funds. No doubt that there are scammers everywhere and even we have some serious allegations against major names, still it didn't erase them out of the markets like FTX (though it's an exchange). ~

That's because you are playing on reputable sites, which never intend to do something as disgusting as running away with players money. But overall in the gambling world such things happen quite often. Scammers create copycats of known sites and lure gamblers there with promises of unreal bonuses on deposits, unrealistically good odds on sportsbetting and stuff. Hanging out here on bitcointalk we rarely encounter dishonest behaviour of gambling platforms towards their users(of course I mean the platforms presented here), but we shouldn't forget that in reality there are a lot of scammers in the world of gambling.

- What makes one game fun to play -- more so than other competitors that have similar games (ex: why you enjoy playing crypto poker on X site rather than site A)?
~

With crypto poker what is important is stability of the game. On a good site you just play without worrying about being thrown out when you have a really good hand and someone raises and you just fold because you were thrown out. That's annoying,  but unfortunately not unusual on crypto poker sites. Other than that is the number of players on the site. It's good when there are hundreds of them, not just several people, like it is often the case on such sites. Also a professionally made user interface wouldn't hurt.
2367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Candidates for the WORLD CUP 2022 Winner on: December 14, 2022, 05:27:36 PM
I think there is a good chance for Brazil vs England final, but imo England vs Portugal is pretty possible too. It's interesting to me that most bettors think that France is more likely to win the next match. I'm almost 100% sure the winner will be England, as well as in the finals, but who England will be playing with in the World Cup Final, I don't know, I think it can be Portugal.

Hopefully this world cup would be different for the English side because in recent times they have always been unlucky. They always have some of the best players and most qualified coaches but they seem not to have luck on their side. They have a vey good them in Qatar that can win this world cup but I think they need more than quality.

Well, apparently, it wasn't. Once more they were unlucky, but it's a great team, so hopefully they will win next time.

France is also a potential winner of this world cup because they have a very balanced team. Their midfield is one of the best and the attack would be a threat to any team.

But my expectation in this world cup is that a new country's name would be engraved on the trophy. Holland is one of the best teams of the world that have never won the world cup even though they have been at the finals for three times (1974, 1978 and 2010). It would be a great joy for the Dutch to clinch the world cup. Morocco would be my second choice team to win the world cup. Winning the world cup would bring so much joy and pride to not only Morocco but to the entire continent of Africa.

Now I'm rooting for Argentina. No matter who they are playing with, France or Morocco, probably France, Messi will definitely score one, and will assist with a couple more. 3:1 is my prediction for the World Cup Final, in favour of Argentina, of course. Smiley
2368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My concern of security when using casino houses. on: December 14, 2022, 01:20:25 PM
~ I'm not really understand how you can be scammed using online though, perhaps when you login to fake or similar sites? But as gamblers, we all know that we have to check everything first or even bookmark the sites so that we will avoid this kind of scamming by those criminals.

For land base casinos, casino is high but nevertheless when you go outside that's where we should be very careful specially if you have lots of cash on hand. Maybe there is a spotter inside the casino that will watch you and then when you go out, their accomplice will be waiting for you outside.

What I don't know is how exactly one could be careful with lots of cash on hand. If you are not a big shot with security guys around, you are just risking your life, that's all. That's why I think going to land-based casinos is not worth it. You either lose your money there, or, if you win big, you are risking to be robbed and hurt.
2369  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 🖤 - #1 VIP Crypto Casino on: December 14, 2022, 12:49:59 PM
-snip

This is a good experiment but we all know that doing his on actual will give different result. I’m not sure but is the live RTP affects the chance rate on winning the slot? With this consideration, Fun mode slot result is always different to the actual slot that everyone is using at the same time.

I’m not familiar on the slot mechanics and RTP so I always assume that win chance on slot is affected by the number of people playing it at the same time. Imho.

From what I know it's illegal to program FUN mode and REAL mode differently, so I'm pretty sure that reputable slot providers don't do that.

~

Can you do another experiment for us? Start with the smallest amount and play until you hit the "Free Spins" ....then go to the next bet amount and again play until you hit the Free spin..and so on...

I want to see if you hit the Free spins quicker.. the higher you bet? On Slots in "Brick n Mortar" casinos.... you definitely hit the Free spins more frequently when you are on the max bet. (or higher amounts) So I want to see if the Online casinos are the same...  Wink

For something to be not just a story evidence, but a statistical evidence, we need to do tens of millions of spins, and I can't physically do it, but I will do what you've asked for, just for the fun of it. Smiley Before starting I'll say that to my knowledge the probability of hitting the Free Spins is not dependent on the bet size. Nevertheless, let's begin, shall we?

Same slot, Bitcasino Billion by BGaming.

FUN MODE

Experiment #1 - The smallest bets possible, 0.20 FUN

It took me 306 spins before I got this

and my balance became slightly bigger than in the beginning

Experiment #2 - The biggest bets possible, 200 FUN

Took me 281 spin before I got this

with this total win from that

my balance became 64,150.00 FUN

Taking into account that in FUN MODE when you run out of money another thousand is added to your balance automatically, we must deduct those 16,000 that were added along the way:

64,150.00 FUN - 16,000.00 FUN = 48,150.00 FUN

This is still a great win, 48x of the initial balance, but, as I said above, it wasn't a scientific experiment. I beg you, guys, don't start betting $100 at once with hopes of winning big. Smiley Spinning slots is fun, and let's keep it that way, without risking more than we can afford to lose.
2370  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Whose Crimea on: December 14, 2022, 10:18:49 AM
It's a good article, although an old one. Can you write something about the situation in Crimea now, when it's occupied by Russian military forces and used for attacks on the Ukrainian mainland?

I heard that Crimean Tatars are not only fighting in the Armed Forces of Ukraine against the Russian invaders, but they have also organized an effective partisan movement inside Crimea, bombing warehouses with ammunition and stuff.

Thank you for the good review of the article. As for the situation in the occupied Crimea, after the entry of the Russian army, a harsh punitive regime was established against the Tatar population, whose leaders were either arrested, or left their homeland, or disappeared (killed).

Apparently not all of them have disappeared. There's a partisan movement there in the occupied Crimea, and their work if very effective. Just recently the resistance organization ATESH(ATEШ)  took responsibility for for burning down a Russian military bases in Crimea

and a month earlier the same group claimed responsibility for killing the deputy head of the Kherson military–civilian administration in Russian-occupied Ukraine.
2371  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Elon musk listen to bitcoiners not to delete Hal Finney's account on: December 14, 2022, 08:58:04 AM
When you are going to purge 1.5 billion inactive accounts, which is, obviously the right thing to do, same as purging inactive employees, you don't delete accounts that "have a significant level of historical relevance", like
Lyn Alden stated in this tweet of hers:

Musk is a smart guy. He won't delete Hal Finney's account, nor will he fire Twitter employees strongly devoted to their work.  At least, that's what I think. We'll see.
2372  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals! on: December 13, 2022, 09:54:14 AM
<snip>
I'm not surprised at all. Duelbits has always been generous towards its users. I can remember multiple giveaways, competitions and stuff since I first saw them on bitcointalk. No wonder they are flourishing. Not only it's a well made site with a great reputation, they keep running amazing promos all the time.
I believe this kind of promotion is somehow giving back to players and also a big promotion for them. The more money they allocate for the event, plus the quality of the management and it's marketing team will give them boost on their chance that it'l also be good for their company. It's a win-win situation between Duelbits and it's players. I'm also not surprised that they are willing to reserve a big fund for this event.

It might sound strange to some people, especially those thinking gambling is undoubtedly bad and even evil, but I do believe that a kind of a synergy between gamblers and gambling platforms is possible. For many people the money spent on gambling is much less than what they would spend on getting the same pleasure or the same amount of relaxation.
2373  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling techniques on: December 13, 2022, 09:03:09 AM
They are entertaining at the beginning but soon they become your worst nightmare and I never recommend anyone to play slots,in poker and sport betting you have somewhat much more control while in slot machines you just hit a spin button throwing yourself into total randomness which is programmed to make you lose money in the long run.

I wouldn't go so far to say that no one should play slots. Slots should be forbidden for minors, that's for sure. But for adults it's a good thing in many ways. I myself still play slots, but not more than 30-40 minutes per day, and not every day, of course.

That's a little harsh not to recommend playing slots; I believe he had gambling issues. To begin with, you already know that there is a 60% chance that you will lose your money and a 40% chance that you will profit when you gamble. We gamble to have fun; we occasionally win but frequently lose; we play for the happiness it brings us. Slots have been in the gambling world since then, and while it is already programmed to have a slight chance of winning, if luck strikes you, it has the possibility that you can win big. Until now, a lot of people have played slots, and others have tried to have a strategy to win them.

I don't know, Why those chances, mate? Smiley If you simply mean, we are more likely to lose, I agree with you, but if we are talking about some real percentages of winning/losing when playing slots, it is more like 52% to 48%, not 60% to 40%, imo.

As for your saying "we play for the happiness it brings us", I totally agree with you. There are not that many things from which you can get that "happy hormone" so easily. Only this dopamine mining have to be approached wisely. You should not lose a lot of your money on it, lest you regret the whole thing later.

If you truly believe that he is doing all he is doing just to make this world a better place, then I am very sorry for you. First of all, a "better" place according to who? Maybe some people will like it, and some people will hate it, how are you deciding who it is better for?~

"What is better?" is not some kind of philosophical question here. Having at least some basic food is better than not having it at all. Having water and electricity is better than not having it. These kind of things.

Secondly, is Elon the one who will decide what is better or not? Lastly, I understand EV, tesla is great for the world, but how about twitter, how could that make our world any better?

Twitter in its current state is hardly making our world better, but that's why Musk has acquired Twitter - to change it for better. He paid  $44 billion of his own money for this opportunity. Who else could do that? But someone should. Twitter was really in a bad shape.
2377  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Everton Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: December 13, 2022, 06:28:02 AM
Betting in a crazy pattern doesn't really scream smart to me to be fair, but that is what gamblers like to do. We have also seen people who wagered 1-10 dollars on like 10-15 games total, and win like tens of thousands of dollars. The highest I saw was a guy wagering 5 bucks on a 15 bet slip, with some good chunk of underdogs too, 2-3 games with 3.00+ odds, and they got 5000+ back, does that sound smart to you?

I am sure there are thousands of losses like that for each win, but that doesn't mean that everyone loses, at least one of them won and we saw it, so even though it is not "smart" perse, it is also very profitable for those people.

Yep, it's profitable if you are making bets with 1,000.00 odds many times, like 100 or 200 times, without winning anything, but one day you win 1,000x of your bet(not after 1,000+ bets, of course, but earlier). I've never won something like 1,000x so far, but I'm trying. My personal record is something around 100x, and once I was very close to winning 200x, but cashed out 42x of my bet only to see later that I could win 200x.

2379  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Twitch To Ban Gambling Streaming By October 18th. on: December 12, 2022, 01:09:17 PM
This was a tricky move because gambling streams weren't really banned at all as you can see in the next link:

https://www.twitch.tv/directory/game/Slots

People keep streaming slots, and the question here is, Then what does really change?

People can't promote casinos or use their affiliate links, and that was the main reason why the main gambling streamers decide to quit twitch.

So you are telling a completely different point of view of this ban. Initially, I thought that gambling streamers were banned from Twitch but as you said that Twitch only stops the usage of affiliate links and streamers themselves quit the streams because they don't find it useful to live stream gambling without mentioning their affiliate links.

Is this the real reason and it also means that for those streamers who do not want to go live on twitch, it's their personal decision and twitch never banned them?

Well, if affiliate links is the only concern here, the streamers can share their telegram handle and on telegram they may share their affiliate links ? I mean there are a lot of indirect ways to capture and direct the audience to the affiliate links so why quit streaming?

If it's only about the affiliate links, then indeed you can just stop showing them and keep streaming. And maybe they did just that, because this guy is steaming slots right now

and not only him, I'm sure. So, after all, streaming gambling wasn't banned on twitch, as we can see. Or maybe I'm wrong and he's streaming against the twitch current rules?

~ There is still a free trial to see if the op is really good at it. I think the op isn't selling a kind of e-book or pdf but he clearly mentioned that he was a coach so I expect that the lesson that we will be getting are delivered in real time. This is a proof that no stealing is involved in here.

I personally don't think OP was aimed at stealing someone's money, but spending your time on some useless courses is what we don't need too, right? Then, also, the following can happen: you learn a technique, you win with it, and thinking it's working you pay for the courses, while in fact you were winning just because of luck, and the technique you've learned simply works like any other, it works until it doesn't.
