2361  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is The Gambling Industry Part Of The Domino Effect That Happens In The Market on: January 08, 2023, 11:26:42 AM
~ I'm sure those reputable gambling sites today won't do some sh*t especially the considered big ones already in the industry.

That's right, it's a bit different with reputable gambling platforms than with centralized exchanges, even with those used by millions. We've heard lots of stories about big exchnges disappearing with people's money, but I don't remeber a single one about something similar happening with a big and reputable gambling site.

These industries are so different that I wouldn't expect a "domino effect" here.

- What would you like to see?
~

Although there are thousands of seemingly different slots, most of them start looking the same after you play them long enough. I would like to see a slot with a totally new conception, something gamblers have never seen before. I know it's something that is extremely hard to translate into reality, but what I'm pretty sure about is that most gamblers would try such a slot at least once.

I tried the Bitcasino exclusive game... the Bitcasino Billion.  Did a base bet with a double chance and I spawned a 4 scatter that gives a bonus round and it pays! The bonus round ended with $165 wins from a $0.20 bet base bet.

Very nice! Congrats, mate!

Bitcasino Billion is one of my favourite slots, and today, since it's my birthday, I couldn't resist from trying my luck with it. And although in theory the slot shouldn't be caring about it being a special date for me, it did care in practice. Smiley

Even without doubling my chance of hitting the bonus round, I got four of these nice guys, , within the first 10 rolls:

and from there it went good, as always. Smiley

Will buy some great beer with the winnings.

Thanks, Bitcasino Billion! Smiley
2364  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting strategy question on: January 07, 2023, 10:16:17 AM
~ Such calculations are a common thing that many gamblers have made but unfortunately, the calculations will not always come true due to the luck factor. The prize money gamblers can win is very attractive and keeps gamblers coming back for more.

Those calculations are correct, and I would call them scientific ones in the sense that the more experiments conducted, the more obvious it becomes that it's a positive EV game. But the thing is that by the condition in the OP we can bet only once, and thus we have 83% chance of losing and we have no opportunity to recover the loss in the future taking advantage of the fact that it's an EV+ game. In such a case betting more than you can easily afford to lose is not a wise move.
2365  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoiners kill Bitcoin, and governments are happy, boycott the CEXs on: January 07, 2023, 09:31:39 AM
Centralized exchanges report all your activities only if an order has been issued by a court, or something like that. They are not doing it by default, right?
As soon as you complete KYC on an exchange, then that exchange is cross referencing the data you provide them with identity data held by your government, so immediately your government can know that you have opened an account with that exchange. ~

I didn't know about that, and now I don't know how to verify this information, but considering your reputation I believe you. I must say, it sucks then. And not because I think all governments are evil by nature(I'm not an anarchist), but because it's a fact that there are bad guys in any government, and they can try to use the info against you.
2366  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If Luck Was Measured In Percentage, Rate Your Luck In 2022 From 0-100 on: January 07, 2023, 08:32:46 AM
I was lucky during the year 2022, and although I don't completely understand how to rate it on the scale from 0 to 100, I'll say it was 60%, meaning that I definitely won more than I lost.

~ And if you don't mind, feel free to also discuss your plans for this year 2023, how much do you hope to make from gambling before this year runs out, and do you have plans laid down to make this possible? Please feel free to tell us, you might just be helping someone re-arrange their gambling activities/plans for the year. ~

And as for the plans, I don't have any. I think planning to earn money through gambling would be a bad idea for anyone. We should gamble for fun, entertainment and relaxation, and earn money through other ways.
2367  Other / Politics & Society / Re: If war starting soon where is the safest locations on: January 07, 2023, 08:04:51 AM
There is no place in the world that will be safe if nuclear war breaks out, it will destroy everything and I firmly believe that surviving World War 3 is impossible. Currently, according to the announcement, only the US and Russia, the two superpowers, have possessed the number of nuclear warheads up to 3000 different warheads. When war breaks out, and all these weapons are used, I believe that even countries that did not participate in the war cannot avoid the impact.

Yes, maybe not all the people in the world will be killed at once. They say, with all the heavy nuclear warheads employed, only around 400 million people will die immediately, but writing "only" here is hard because this is such a big number. But no one on the planet can avoid the impact, that's right. Imagine, you have miraculously found a place in Australia or Argentina, and survived. What next? No one wants to live in the post apocalyptic chaos with a "nuclear winter" on top of that.

my biggest obstacle is to spend money foolishly - and to trust others blindly and to be ready to do anything even if it costs my sweat and blood
I was foooled by so many and I was looted by so many - I love to live alone now.

This is really sad to hear, but I think it's not like a rule for everyone, rather, you were just unlucky. Or your goals were wrong. You see, if you want to impress your "friends" with either your courage or generosity, it always ends badly. Find friends whom you don't need to impress, who accept you as you are, and move towards your financial freedom along with them.

I’m cautious too when it comes to martingale because you never know when the massive lose streak hits hard. I remember I have 0.1BTC with 200 sats base bet burned on a 50% winning percentage martingale strategy. Dice game is full of surprises and sometimes you can’t stop thinking if it’s rig or not because of this long lose streak that can occur anytime since I’m leaving my bot playing dice.

After that, I only use martingale strategy after encountering 8 and above lose streak to start increasing my bet so that I will have extra 8 bets for my bank roll.

Haha, I remember using the same strategy when only starting with dice. Then I dropped it. And not only because of my personal experience, but rather because I understood that it was as pointless as so called "prerolls". It's like written in stone, it's in the code of any fair dice game that each roll is absolutely independent from all the previous ones. Those "extra bets" exist only in our head. In reality you are always starting anew.

and I'm sure that somehow luck will be on my side from this freebitcoin. i hope this year Roll Eyes
There is (almost) exactly 100 days left for GT contest, I really wish they will be able to introduce "wagered" counter, just like it is on "Contest" page.
Sometimes you may be just a few sats left from one more ticket.
Group request?

Good idea! I don't know how difficult it is, but if possible, please, FreeBitco.in, install such counter.

I myself have 5 tickets(won them on WoF)

and even though I know that with over a million other tickets, 5 tickets or 6, doesn't make much of a difference, I would still wager like 20k sats, if that was what I needed to get another one. And for people with zero tickets it is especially important.

2374  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How pessimistic do you feel about the new year of 2023 ? on: January 04, 2023, 12:59:51 PM
Surely the future is unpredictable but let's leave it as it is and just focus on our main goal in life. I know most of us to think there will be some more negative things coming next year but as long as it will not gonna come yet, we still have the chance to step forward and reach our dreams. We just don't to see another foolish war will happen next year because I really don't want to see innocent people suffering because of the greed and tyranny of their leaders. If only leaders themselves will fight, they would have ended this war a long time ago but they always sent their troops and it will not end until one party will surrender or is annihilated.

Agree. Focusing on our daily life is way better than being optimistic or pessimistic. Life is intricate that sometimes we don't have to pave the way to move forward but only move forward to pave the way. I also hate wars and hope any war comes to an end in 2023 but frankly speaking, it's human nature to make wars to survive and I just hope eventually more people will live in peace.

I think making wars is not in human nature. Rather, it's in our animal nature to kill everyone around expanding our habitat. We, humanity, are moving forward from that towards cooperation and caring about each other. And exactly that's why we, as humans, have conquered all the animals. And that's why more civilized cultures triumph over the less civilized ones, or at least we are moving forward towards that trend, and we, as humanity, are not going to stop. We have achieved significant progress on this path, but the achievements of the modern civilization must be protected, lest we go back to the dark ages.

Yes, at first, when just copy the game style of the best players, we don't understand why it works most of the time. But, trust me, with a lot of practice, and I mean practice on the battlefield with real players, not with bots, not with your friends, but with real online players, who want to beat you, eventually you will start to understand why the style of the best in the business works.
I agree that the best experience is that experience you`ve got by yourself, but it this way you spend your time and money to level up your skills. I think that it is true for everything but in such situation the price can be to big for studying. And if you`ll play low-level competitions you can`t see the true skilled players.

Firstly, true skilled players do play low stakes online, it's a known fact. But I agree that the probability of meeting them at the tables is extremely low when it's not a $1,000+ buy-in.

But do you actually need to play with them to level up your skills? Imo, it's better to watch them playing with each other, the best with the best, in recently uploaded videos on YouTube.

Coming to this new contest, I truly hope BTC will start moving upwards rapidly in this new year and stop behaving like a stablecoin.

I believe so too. I wouldn't mind BTC was behaving like a stablecoin after reaching $200k, but at today's price, no, no one wants that.

I just made the most optimistic prediction in the thread so far

but I really hope that there will be much more optimistic ones in the days to come, and they will turn out to be true.

2378  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals! on: January 04, 2023, 10:50:11 AM
It was always a mystery for me, why Duelbits uses coins or US dollars as a playing unit, while gamblers deposit Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin and etc. Why not use crypto for gambling that was deposited. On one hand, it is not fair towards gambler during bearish trend, because 100 coins has different BTC value different days. On the other hand, it is not fair towards Duelbits during bullish trend. I could have deposited a hundred today in BTC in 2020, but withdraw 500 bucks in 2021 for example. Strange logic.

It is exactly the other way around, mate. Smiley Think of it. You deposit $100 in BTC when it's 0.002, and then we have a bearish trend and BTC goes down, and if you were keeping it in your wallet, it would become $37(like it is today), and yet your balance on Duelbits would be still $100, despite the fact that you deposited 0.002 several months ago.

In my opinion, it's not a "strange logic", rather it is more convenient for them to conduct business this way.
2379  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: January 04, 2023, 09:43:30 AM
~snip~
No, of course it doesn't mean that. Especially regarding this particular AI that OP is talikng about, ChatGPT. Unfortunately it has a "knowledge cutoff". Read its reply to a question about current events:

So, I think using it for sports betting would be pretty much pointless.

Well, I'm not so sure that all the bookies are using absolutely up to date information about every single match around the world.

Also, sometimes teams don't face each other in years, so the odds wouldn't change that often.

I think it's a useful thing to use in certain scenarios, and I'm sure it can produce better odds than some betting companies in specific situations.

What are you talking about, mate? Smiley Seriously, have you ever done sports betting yourself?

It's impossible to predict the outcome without the latest information regarding the medical condition of the athletes, their performance in the recent games, possible replacement of the coach or some players from the competing teams etc. Even weather forecast can be a factor.

If AI is not connected to the internet, its predictions about the outcomes can be worse than just some random picks.

[Over $3,000] Stake 3 Slots Challenge | Week 123

Win a bet with 40x or higher multipliers on slot Burning Sun.
Minimum bet is 20c (0.20 USD). Any bets that are on the fun play/with nothing staked will not count.

Giveaway's Topic: https://stakecommunity.com/topic/66893-over-3000-stake-3-slots-challenge-week-123/

I had a pretty good win participating in this one:

and yet I know for sure that even with my 159x I won't be in the "Top 20 multipliers" because of so many players cooler than me participating in this Stake Slots Challenge. Just look at some of them:

OMG, you guys rock! 5,000x is the Max Payout on this slot. How could you...? Never mind. I'm speechless. Smiley Congrats! All I can say is congrats.

Although with this kind of competition I won't be in the top 20 multipliers to get $25 prize, I still will get a prize of around $4 or $5, and that is not bad too. Smiley
