What a kid's question? That is impossible for sure. There are so many reasons why. I can tell you one of them - there are a lot of bitcoin holders and they just don't want to sell bitcoins not to government, not to anyone else.
A lot of people wants to hold their bitcoins and expecially tol sell it to government.
Well, he's just saying "If" despite the chance of bitcoin getting owned by the big banks which really low but there's still a chance, he's just asking how if all the big banks own bitcoin. if from my opinion, bitcoin will remain decentralized, its system nature which is blockchain is designed to be decentralized at the start, none of us can rule and can't force to take people's money, just the big banks owning big portion of bitcoin and could possibly manipulate the market. |

It it not the same situation as back then, the growth this year has been a lot slower and the bitcoin awareness is way higher right now than back then it is obvious there is going to be a decrease in price but it is not going to be a crash like the 2013 crash. 2013 will never happen again. Now bitcoin has become much stronger than a few years ago. And so now it can fall in price by only a few percent. At this stage of development of this coin - such growth is a normal development Really confused of how price correction is a "must" and need to happen based on many traders' thinking while the reality, it's not necessarily need to happen after the price increase. There may be a crash in the future but who knows, we're heading for a new ATH and expecting it to happen, another dump or price crash is just other thing. |

this is one of the reason why we don't need china to grow. bitcoin google facebook and other site banned from china but still earning money. we don't need china. bitcoin price raise up now up to $4800 and soon to surpass the $5000 price. I'm getting more excited from the price changing of bitcoin hope it reach $10000 per bitcoin so i can make a lot of earnings  China's main reason of banning facebook and google is to keep their citizens data offshore and to make their own product such as weibo and many more be used by their own citizen, such a good move to make their own ecnomony independent from other country,can't blame them for it,but, ofcourse, without china, all of those companies still have wide coverage to other country around the world. |

i can not see any ray of hope from that kind of project,
to be honest it's not our first time to see this kind of project right ?
for example if you ever heard about VOXELUS,
it was an ICOs and successfully raised their money for more than a million dollars,
but what happen next ? slowly but sure their price is going down.
until now they still made a lot of improvement but it did not pump the price at all.
so i do not have any faith with this kind of project to be honest.
What is happening is quite the opposite. Now it is traded 3 times the ICO price. These days we see most of coins fall in price after ICOs. But Vibehub is rising. Despite of the ETH amount they raise at the ICO which kinda low, they do pretty well to increase the price, now this good event still continued until now and also the listing on hitbtc will seem to boost up the price once more. yes, the project is not raising a lot of million dollars, but the project already give profit to their investors even more than 3x, my clap for the project. |

I think most of these stars are just getting paid for that. It's all about marketing. Take a look at all this ICOs..it seems that you "must" have some kind of big star working for you to get some attention. And its not only about stars from the show business but also big names from other buisnesse. For instance there is a new project going on for a crypto decentralised bank..change is the name of the project.. and they have the ex CEO from DHL as advisors. I don't see a big connection with managing a big company for shipping and a crypto bank..but hey he is still the ex CEO of a worldwide known business. Actually bitcoin is not controlled by our government but when the government allows bitcoin to engage in each country, the real thing comes. Bitcoin will boost up because it will not only help the economy of the country but also those persons who engage in bitcoin right away .
"Helping economy of the country" what kind of joke is that, bitcoin not even helping the economy of the country but i can say that it'll unstabilize the economy, all of the government economy is always based on centralized system therefore they have control over it not a decentralized one, i wonder how you can say that bitcoin is helping the country's economy but that just dumb statement i say. |

So basically you just sold away all your assets and want to reinvest that money? In that case I would suggest you to divide your capital (in this case thats 100kUSD) into 3 parts. 50% into bitcoin holdings. I would suggest you to buy bitcoin because it has a good future and to buy it at prices less that 3500USD. This may not be touched anytime soon, since prices are high at the moment. So you may have to wait...for long. 30% into Ethereum and 20% into Litecoin. Ethereum is having a good future as well. 90%of new ICOs that happen are based on ERC20 and Ether tokens. So you can always expect the demand for ethereum to be high in future leading to rise in price above the 300USD mark. For Litecoin is expect the price to rise sometime soon but I cannot predict much about litecoin. The project is almost dead but many people are investing in it too. I would suggest you to do your own research for litecoin. Well probably he can't expect too much from the altcoins he invested earlier so he want to move out his money to another promising altcoin. seems a wise move for me. talking about the comparation of those, I actually only consider BTC and ETH, tbh, not a fan of LTC or BCH either. with ETH you can see its future with the coming ICOS and bitcoin that have recently acepted in japan and many more, I prefer BTC overall. |

bitcoin cash born as a dead coin. its price will decline more than before. now we are having bitcoin gold which is another fork copy of bitcoin cash, there is no reason to get these fake coins. it will jst another story to tell to our kids in the future.
Bitcoin cash and the current fork is entirely different ,if you are holding bitcoin then what is wrong in getting the free coins,it is just easy money without any hurdle and these coins are better than most of the alt coins in the market,so you cannot ignore them simply as fake coins. That's the point, bitcoin cash exist to give us free money as it meant to be, bitcoin cash is just an altcoin that's made for airdrop, and to give benefits for those bitcoin hodlers too. maybe the bitcoin cash is dying, but damn, i'm happy with the free money. |

I was wondering what if someone accidentally sends Bitcoin Cash to a Bitcoin address?
I saw a post in twitter from one of the staff I think of Bittrex that they will not do anything if anyone accidentally sent BTC to a BCC wallet and vise versa. So better be careful in sending those funds and double check the address if address is correct. Don't even bother to open a ticket according to the post. Its irreversible for now. I am not sure with other exchange sites. That's right, bittrex is not going to investigate the BCH that wrongly sent to bitcoin address, but, they may demand some bitcoin if you really want them to do the investigation, so there's possibility to recover your BCH back but just, you need to spend some of money. |

Some ICO's drop massively once they hit the exchange, and others grow massively. I would say part of it is how big their bounty campaign is, as most people from the bounty will be selling there coins ASAP.
Some project gets big drop not caused by the bounty but the development of the project itself, if the developers made a wrong way and that will eventually affect the market and make a big crash to the price of the token itself. |

May I know what is the purpose of gas price in myetherwallet? I am still confused about it and can someone please briefly explain it.

The gas just like the transaction fees in the bitcoinn transaction, if you are puting pore gas and your transaction should be delivered in a short time. because the gas price will be determined where your transction will have included in the fast block. |

I don't think so. To reach this goal the price must increase $1700 yet and that is a lot of progress for 2 months in my opinion. If BTC is able to reach $5000 it's already a big achievement. I think this prediction was being adopted by some people months ago when BTC was increasing really fast, they were very optimistic about it, but now that things seem more stable the scenario changed a bit.
To me such an increase is not impossible. we have seen a much higher movement than that. you can see that bitcoin is unexpected. any news can affect the bitcoin price easily. such as the news about the Chinese state that bans on bitcoin, bitcoin prices decrease by more than 1000 $ and now prices are back to normal. this is proof that we can not predict the bitcoin price. anything can happen and everything is like a miracle. That's right, if you see more about bitcoin, the price of bitcoin determined by so many factors and news or government regulatory is such a vital thing for bitcoin market. the market always watch the negative and positive news about bitcoin, by that they decide whether to hold or sell their bitcoin and hold or buy bitcoin too. the whole market of bitcoin is now becoming more unpredictable unlike then. |

They both are forked coins, and there is no future for both, as you can see, the same happened to bitcoin cash, a lot of people were speculating about that it was going to be more expensive than bitcoin, but it is below $400 each one right now, and there were a lot of people who dumped their btc in order to buy bch.
And with bitcoin gold it is going to happen the same, i am only going to dump them a few minutes after that i receive them.
Agree with that, so far never see HF coin that's more succesfull than the original coin itself, for example, Ethereum classic, bitcoin cash, and now bitcoin gold will be a failure too. the price of HF coin will always below the original coin and that's why hardfork is such a waste of time. |

government can't handle bitcoin and for sure there will be more problems if the government handle bitcoins and for sure the government will just manipulate it's price because they are handling it.
I'm sure this will never happen because if the government takes over the bitcoin then our decentralised bitcoin won't be decentralised anymore. That's the thing, currently it's not regulated and it's price is increasing because we can manipulate the way we want it. We can bring up the flood of investment with big investors and can just pump it the way we want. :-) If government is there then everything will be messed up and for sure they will manipulate the price for themselves and not for the public interest. Might do that for the millilitre use who knows. To buy weapons. Lols. So hopefully that should not happen. I do agree that the sense of decentralisation will be gone if the government will regulate bitcoin transactions. The fact that bitcoin is popular for its unlimited transactions, speed and no fees will be just a characteristic that existed yet changed. Like for fees, there are already fees for transaction yet one of the bitcoins purposes is mainly that. What will we be holding in the future of bitcoin ? Even if you earned millions, if there will be a percentage in fees, then it's worthless. Government regulation the transaction of bitcoin, will never happened, since it's decentralized from the start, none of create in this world have the control over bitcoin, but if government want to regulate the usage of bitcoin, they definitely can. there's nothing to worry about, bitcoin will always be decentralized forever. |
