2361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Litecoin Could Become the Best Investment of 2015 on: July 02, 2015, 03:32:25 AM
neat read, I also have a few dozen litecoins lying around, but wouldnt hurt to buy a few more using btc, hope itll pay off in the coming months Smiley
2362  Economy / Auctions / Re: Full member account for sell on: July 02, 2015, 03:24:13 AM
without a signed message available no one will pay anything near .1 BTC for a full member. if you want some bids you should lower your starting bid, and tell us weather or not you have a signed message available.
2363  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best way to buy a lot of bitcoins? on: July 02, 2015, 02:47:09 AM
some people on localbitcoins give discounts for larger purchases you an try that. i used to see people selling for 5% over which is not bad when you are in a bind.

if you have patience just use coinbase since they raise buying and selling levels pretty quickly

circle might be better imo, coinbase tends to track how users spend their coins, and with a purchase as big as this, they might send a nice little email to ask you everything about why you need this much in bitcoin, and lock your transaction until you answer it. also, coinbase is limited to use in the USA.
2364  Economy / Services / Re: i need a very skilled coder,i ll pay in btc :) on: July 02, 2015, 02:42:31 AM
seeing as you have a completely new account here, you should escrow the funds to someone trusted to ensure the programmer will get paid for their services.
2365  Economy / Goods / Re: £18 LoL Cards on: July 02, 2015, 02:20:37 AM
are these available in NA as well or are they EU only? I might buy one if its available to be redeemed in NA and if you can offer a bigger discount.
2366  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: do people make a lot of money farming signature campaigns? on: July 02, 2015, 01:44:07 AM
mh, I wonder if you could make a living with sig campaigns... I made around 0.08 last week. assuming you could at least sustain 10 accounts that would make BTC0.80/week, BTC3.2/month. around $700, not bad.

maybe with several hero/legendary accounts it might be possible, but i would assume that would be way too time consuming to be a serious consideration.
2367  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 0.01BTC loan with collateral on: July 02, 2015, 01:35:00 AM
Seeking for a 0.01BTC loan
Can offer my lv 30 lol (na) account (although still in bronze 1 but with some skins) and this acc as collateral
Term length: max 1 week (should be able to repay after I receive money from sign campaign this Sun)
Interest: 5-10% if possible

address: 1AymK33UnW6RhuD2R2DYQQ3DL6ZmXXyDHo

You can only earn .005+/- in your sig campaign coz you are only a newbie. Where do you expect to get more bitcoins to pay the loan?

Not only that but how can he use the forum account as collateral and receive money from his signature campaign? You have to give up control of the account to use it as collateral right? So you can't post to make money.

Oh...didn't notice that, but as this acc is not worth any cent, so maybe I will change as only the lol account for the collateral.

Why do you need .01BTC?

For investment Wink
For what investment exactly? Cloudmining or some sort of gambling?
And lol account can't be used as collateral because you can easily retrieve the password again by contacting customer support by saying your account was hacked.
My suggestion is that you find another means of valid collateral,i think your id (passport, citizen id) can be used as valid collateral
Correct me if im wrong Smiley

wrong, collateral should be something easily sellable to cover the loan in the case the borrower defaults. identification is not valid as collateral.
2368  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: scrypt.cc is provably lying about their 850GH/s Scrypt mining on: July 02, 2015, 12:38:26 AM
the ones who just want to get out and sell it, maybe they think they can still make a profit. big lol. Register page keeps on saying "We are working on the databases". Like what ? Cheesy Withdraws not working of course. Supposed mining is not working.

well of course theyre not mining, there was no mining being done in the first place. Roll Eyes
2369  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammed report on user kralle on: July 02, 2015, 12:35:45 AM
I actually did post on his thread a few days back, that he was likely a scammer and was trying to gather small amounts from multiple people to pull off a larger scam. However I edited my post later after he sent me a message. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1095602.msg11693111#msg11693111

But based on how he was replying or evading important questions and was asking money first and doing a delay in delivering I was almost certain about him being a scammer. Later I saw some other people vouch for him, which is also another reason I edited my post

Who were the vouches? Could be alts.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1095602.msg11693270#msg11693270
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1095602.msg11701032#msg11701032

both are full member and 1 have green trust. I don't think they're his alts.

btw I know there's two users with very similar username as DavieT (DavieT@gmx.de).

if youre referring to user DavieT1337 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=509778) he has 1 other known alt:

2370  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The owner of this account -- poeEDgar on: July 02, 2015, 12:30:34 AM
down at the bottom left of the page there should be a link to "move topic," use that.
2371  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The owner of this account -- poeEDgar on: July 02, 2015, 12:24:38 AM
Hello! I hope I'm posting on the right section or else, please move to the right section.

I'm looking to get intouch with the user poeEDgar. I bought some accounts from him and it had some issues. I really hope to get connected with him asap. Or if you're reading this with your alt, please go login the account to resolve the problem. The issue will be private until I decide to open it on public. Serious issue though.

the only thing that comes to mind when you say this is that he sold you a hacked account; in that case id definitely move it to the scam accusations section, or the trading discussion. services doesnt seem like a fit for this subject.
2372  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BTCJam - Peer to Peer Bitcoin Lending on: July 02, 2015, 12:01:57 AM
I think BTCJam is really cool and I generally love P2P lending. So I did a simple experiment. I collected historical data from BTCjam and other Bitcoin P2P lending sites. Then I ran a simple simulation, where I invested into each loan on the platform and observed the outcome. Needless to say, I ended up with a huge loss.

How does that make any sense? You think it's cool... But, you ended up with a huge loss?

What did you do, invest in btcjam on like 3 shitty loans and they all defaulted?

 Tongue

probably invested in some shady looking "trading loans" that promised "large profits" with "skills," or one of those that invested into "cloud mining," way too many of those obviously fishy loans from what I see on there, along with tons of fake references from fake accounts.

2374  Economy / Gambling / Re: TappaBit.com | A NEW PvP Social MINI Game | Play Now! on: July 01, 2015, 10:50:41 PM
Also you need to offer timely no deposit bonus of free credits just to have players on your site at the start.

Why would it need a no deposit bonus ? people can try it by playing at the 0k room. Having a no deposit bonus will bring nothing but freeloader to the site.

rather than freeloaders, I'd think there would be an influx of people simply looking to abuse the bonus by creating many accounts. no reason for the house to run a charity.
2375  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to earn Bitcoins? on: July 01, 2015, 08:44:02 PM
Why should signature campaign be a good way to earn bitcoin?
I have never heard here that keeping his signature space is better.
Why should a space be better for other ones than for yourself?

Wearing signatures to advertise another site isn't good? Why don't get paid extra bitcoins while posting? Isn't it a good idea?

exactly, I'm not going to spend the time to come up with a nice signature for myself either, and I dont care enough to have some personalized signature either. might as well advertise and get paid for posting.
2376  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did you earn some bitcoin today? on: July 01, 2015, 08:39:38 PM

2378  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CAUTION--Drogonson has just scammed me for .095 BTC on: July 01, 2015, 01:28:57 PM
Weren't you just PM'ing me two days ago trying to vouch that this account is not hacked and is legit?

Indeed I was, read the post
I did read it. I think you should take it as a hopefully not too expensive lesson that you should always use escrow regardless of the size of the transaction.

A lot of people reuse passwords so it is possible that he got passwords of various accounts and then found their LBC accounts and used those same passwords to hack their LBC accounts.

I'm thinking that maybe he figured the account wasn't worth keeping anymore, and decided to just exit. But who knows, it could be hacked.

it might be hacked; when he tried to take a loan from me he refused to sign a message at QS's request.
2379  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CAUTION--Drogonson has just scammed me for .095 BTC on: July 01, 2015, 01:25:51 PM
this guy was trying to take out a loan from me a day or two ago, big thanks to quickseller for advising against it. might have ended up another victim
2380  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to get legit free btc? on: July 01, 2015, 11:09:59 AM
There are a lot of ways to earn BTC. You can earn faster with sales, services, trades or signature campaigns
you will not earn anything with trades if you are talking about cryptos trading as it is almost gambling because no one knows what prices of cryptos will be

he might be talking about forex, which can be profitable given you know what youre doing.
