name just one better alt coin with his own network which is evenly distributed to ppl
pls don`t say XPM which is ruled by 50+ % by botnets and ppl having power to abuse big server clouds for free (who want a coin which is mined by thief?)
also working scrypt fpga will be out in ~2 months
PPC

ppc will be around, its made to be around.....longer than BTC

There are Austrians who can't think for themselves and those that can. Nice how the ones who can get to make the dough. -- For a slightly more conservative estimate (14 months for every order of magnitude instead of about 11.5 months in my version), see this projected chart from adamas's post. "$200 by Christmas, $500 by late Spring, $1000 by Fall." (A little over 4 months to double.) my version is 13 months to do an order of magnitude (x 10) so very close to yours, but note upper and lower bounds, for quicker 10x

Question: ixcoin has a reward of 96 per block (now we are at block 166488) max 21.000.000 coins. What about iocoin: what is the reward per block (now we are at block 925989), and the total amount of coins?
hmmm 925989 looks out
|
|
|
Bitcoin itself did not have encrypted wallet back when Ixcoin was created.
The codebase to update from is the I0Coin code, because it would be stupid to upgrade without fixing the massive-RAM-use problem that all the merged coins except I0Coin still have.
-MarkM-
yet another good reason to buy IOcoin, while its cheap!

600000 BTC just went out of circualtion, this has to do something to price. thats 2.5 - 5$%, 140 there fore that should go up by $4 - 7 just on that

this really defeats the whole purpose of a store of value, you should be able to leave you coins anyway you want them for as long as you want. Anything less and you knock the foundation out of the whole thing.

Can someone explain to me the significance, if any, of ixCoin having its own separate blockchain?
I mean, don't all clones have a separate blockchain? Doesn't i0Coin? Thanks!
um blockchains are just the database ledger for that coin, that can be moved by private sigs iocoin is like ixcoin, but with out the pre-mine.
|
|
|
I see I0coin is doubling in value recently
|
|
|
why wouldn't IOCoins >>> then Ixcoin
eg IOCoin zero premine, good GHZ, better client now 8.x, also it doubled just recently in value.

so a qt-wallet/multibit, has 3 sets of codes to crack to get through if unspent (1 being ECDSA)?
is this correct?
IF i dont leak my MPK and they crack ECDSA then can this be used against unspent addresses?

Would you be interested in a startup kit from the Bitcoin Foundation? (Not that one exists, but maybe we should package a web site, forum, customizable logos, mail server, etc for use with a virtual server...this way localized foundations could assemble and organize quickly).
Yes this sounds like an excellent idea!

you have to elide from the whole question
by declaring oneself an atheist is still to use theism as a counter point / measure.
one is not a a-santacluaist it is simply an irrelevant question/definition, you grow out of it.
god/gods are simply irrelevant.....even if they did exist just oversized meme spouters....thats it.
I am not an atheist, nor do I believe nor define any things about in relation to 'god'.
god is not dead, just completely irrelevant in any scenario

If some "random" (haha ) computer game can muster up $1 billion in quick sales, what is a product like Bitcoin worth on the open market? Suddenly, a $1 to $10 trillion "market cap" looks eminently reasonable! yes but remember that that billion is just transferred to GTA producers who transfer it on. BTC market cap in nit destroyed, its buying power at 1 Billion market cap is 100x of this as it just gets cycled around velocity of money etc

thanks...some sort of weird fee error
I left enough on the address to pay for the fee and tried to clear the rest...no dice...gives that error.
|
|
|
this sorta says we need a CC where this can not even be a possibility...if that's possible, implication, BTC current system is not the model yet that will win the race. A PPC version over time maybe a lot harder to hack as the coins will be far more distributed than mining.
