I see the cause is only one i.e the government can't control bitcoin entirely. Let me ask something, is the illegal activity never happened before bitcoin came? does the sale of illicit goods not use money fiat? I think most of them using money fiat for a transaction. But I just weird when bitcoin came money fiat has been forgotten as a tool for illegal transaction, it is not fair. Whilst, if I am not mistaken if some people make a transaction then all of the transaction will be known by many people because we can see on the blockchain. Even I just thinking for those people who will use bitcoin as an illegal activity and he has known bitcoin properly then he will not use it and find another currency which cannot be tracked such as money fiat.

Have you read an article or another source to know about bitcoin? If you have I suggest to you for read all of them, don't just cut some parts that you think are interesting. I believe if you read and try to understand you won't choose such this question. Maybe your question will be deeper either technically or fundamentally. Bitcoin price is depend on supply and demand, hopefully you have understood the concept of them. So as you will find more about some factor who will makes bitcoin price up and bitcoin price down.

Not for the first time bitcoin faced a wild growth (although I don't what exactly mean of that) the price of bitcoin has been increasing since it was created at 2009 ago and even the using of cryptocurrencies has beating the using of internet when it was created. Which is mean cryptocurrencies is more popular and easily accepted by many people.

Cryptocurrencies are new system of technology to make it easy for human to make a transaction and I am very fond of the peer to peer system which is mean there is no third party to proccesing the transaction. So, I was trying to know more about it at 2017 ago and tried to bought bitcoin althought for the first intention only for investing.

I only used stable coin (USDT) once when I sent my money from binance to an exchange and after that never use it again. Actually I choose strategy investing in cryptocurrency is for long term investment, I only sold when my asset when the price that I have set was achieved. So, I never choose stable for invesement purpose because as you may know it's never made me got a profit.

I guess the purpose of some start up who intend to make a stable coin only for payment system or maybe for trading pair because the price movement is not volatile as cryptocurrency. And until now I never used cryptocurrencies as payment system because the factor of regulation in my country. I think there are a few investor who choose stable coin to store their money and they only intended to choose it for saving only not for an investment.

Indeed there is some exchange who have a bad reputation if I see on the scame accusation but I never use them by myself. I haven't felt the worst exchange when I trade because when I started to trade I'll find a more information against the exchange especially the exchange which I new to use it. But most of my trade only use binance and I havent't found a problem when I use it. Just a little suggestion, find a reputable exchange such as binance, OKEX or bittrex to choose for your trading place. I haven't found there is a user who had a problem with use them, don't try to use an exchange who has a bad reputation you will regret when you found a problem.

When a government accept cryptocurrencies then it doesn't mean they are allowing to use bitcoin as payment system. Most of the countries only use bitcoin as a comodity/property which can be traded and can be use them as investment place. Just a few countries who allowed the cryptocurrencies especially bitcoin be used as payment system such as Japan and I don't know for another countries.

This thing was made most of user more comfortable to use bitcoin as investment place only. And the one of the caused of that is the government themselves. However, I like for an idea was made by some user of crypto, they try to promote cryptocurrencies especially bitcoin in many ways and at least this thing will make most people aware of cryptocurrency.

Saving it at email, phone storage and other thing that can be connected to the internet it is not save. You can't feel comfortable when you store it on these things. I just print out my private keys and save it in my room, since there only a few people who know cryptocurrencies so for now I'll comfortable to do it. They will not know about it although I put it on my computer desk, I was hacked a few times with the reason the hacker know my priket and at that time I only choose email or my computer to save my private key but after that I never save it again, just print out and so far my wallet is really safe.

I just spend my money into bitcoin and I never choose another place such as in gold or real estate to intend for investing. Actually I still young to start investing in GOLD because I still have a lot of pretension to buy everything that I wanted instantly. So, I choose bitcoin to spend my money for investing, I'm sure bitcoin is a place to buy that I wanted instantly because its movement price. And I'm short term investor, so far I only buy and sell bitcoin if I got profit from it, $100 or even $1000 I have got them since I started to invest in bitcoin. These things has made me comfortable to choose bitcoin and never tried to choose another place beside it.

Indeed, I have to rack my brain when I tried to choose an altcoin to hold for long term investment. Altcoins market are really cruel, you don't have a little to make a decision to gain profit or to losing your money. Pump and dump frequently happened thus far, rose almost 500% and suddenly its price back to down and almost 500% again.

However, I have confident that when I choose bitcoin to save for long term investment I don't need for excessive worry. Just keep the private keys and back again if you choose an example for five years and you will be regret because you only put a little money five years ago to buy bitcoin.

Investing is really different from saving money, there are some risk will come when you choose store money intended for investing. So, it is reasonable when your investment place doesn't give you a profit even your money just lost because that is the risk you will be face. You don't have to exact and blaming the developer when the project not successfully competing in the market.

I had a several times faced up the project that spent money didn't give a profit even I lost almost a half my capital. But I turn my brain when I intend to blame someone else either some people who suggested me for investing on it or the developer behind the project. I only think I have to avoid this thing again in the future and choose the reputable project so I can get the profit that I wanted.

Many people have made a consideration that IEO is better then ICO project. And K think that is right because through an IEO the investors have a comfortable feeling when they spent money to invest in it.

As you may know the exchange has a responsible to decide the project is scam or legit and the project is potential and have no potential. If the exchange can't do these things I believe the exchange will gone slowly, the investors will assume the exchange is not reputable.

You have to see the binance launchpad, I think that is an exchange who give a comfortable feeling for the investor who choose it. Also, I heard a lot of experiences from some investors who use binance for investing in an IEO and they says they got a lot of profit from it.

For ICO project, although there are still running but they have a little investor. Because most of the investor has been moving their money to IEO.

We have a different perspective to someone who get addicted on gambling and we are who use gambling just for fun. Gambling addict will see that gambling place are a promising place to earn money because they know the way to make it happens. Where we are who didn't know how the way to earn a lot of money from gambling will considered it as an entertainment place. I think there is gambling addict who got a lot of wealth through gambling.

I like binance because when 7000 bitcoin lost on their platform but they tried to convince their user to keep stay on the exchange. They tried to cover all of money who was stolen by hacker to each users, and they tried to improve their platform in order to the incident didn't come again.

All centralized exchanges can be hacked IMO, can you tell me how many centralized exchange have not been stolen? I guess just a few, most of them already conceded. If this happened, we can see the reputable exchange and an exchange who don't want to be responsible. And this thing will affect the reputation later.

The hard to do is to decide choosing a good potential coin/token, have you know it the way? We only use the whitepaper to know the potential project for the future but it seems like for at this time the whitepaper not help much. Most of investors only use the project for short term investment only, maybe you have known when the taken part with IEO or ICO project they will sell quickly when the project token has been listed on the exchange and can be traded. If the culture of investment in the new project is like that I doubt the new project will come everytime and still worth to be an investment place.

Trading competitions  only look for some people who had a lot of volume, I never taken part of it. I just trade when I feel the market is suitable for me to trade, just spend money that I had and set the targe then I can see the result.

Actually it is good for those people who have a lot of money. They can spurred to get profit or a lot of volums in order to get the competitions. But yeah ussually the participant who participate the trading competitors are some people who have became an expert to trade on cryptocurrencies.

I guess bitcoin price was down sometimes ago because it has something to do with the trial conducted by Libra Coin. Indeed, libra coin shouldn't have an effect on the price movements of cryptocurrencies, especially bitcoin, but because libra coin was brought the name of cryptocurrency on their platform, it is inevitable that the price movements of cryptocurrencies can be caused by regulations received by libra coin. As you may know recently, many people who reject the crypto facebook project have stumbled on a number of problems and many figures have demanded that libra not be developed because it could endanger the economy of a country.

That is true, but I doubt for those people who comes to crypto investment and bring a little money to investing and he chooses bitcoin for the main investment place. The price of bitcoin has a high price now comparing to the price of ETH or LTC whereas some people wants 1 amount at least to having a coin so as they only choose cryptocurrencies that have a potential and must have at least 1 amount such as 1 amount of ETH. Moreover when they intend to start for trading, I guess one amount of ETH is really profitable comparing we have 0.04 BTC.

We have a different think about it, seems like the alt season won't come for this year. The price altcoin tend to move down, although as we have been know the giant social media facebook has been coming and the whitepaper has been reading by a lot of people but I can't see the drastically increase prices from some altcoin. The libra coin will be include to altcoins, this thing should be used by many investors to buy altcoins but they prefer to buy bitcoin. So it will take a long time to see altcoin season maybe at 2020 or 2021.

I don't take any action against facebook who create a coin that according to them use blockhain technology, but I doubt about it. The libra coin seemingly is like centralized system which is mean not fully cryptocurrency, its movement pricr will like money fiat. So, if I have a lot of money on my pocket I will never use it to buy libra coin, it will be good to buy bitcoin and other altcoin.

It won't happen, you are late to buy bitcoin at the lower price exactly in two month back bitcoin was still in $3000 but its price has increased and has touched $13.000 a few weeks ago. The price bitcoin is not volatile as you think, fall for almost 80% and after that rise 80% too. There is fundamental factor, when you found a big news such as regulation from the country who has a high effecf such US government then the price will down or up drastically depend on the news itself.
