The buy walls are building, but we still can only absorb ~ 0.1 percent of all Bitcoins in existence (12K BTC) before the plummet to $266. Hypothetically that one guy on Bitfinex who flashed the 15K sell wall could do it by himself. He almost certainly won't, but when China goes dark, we'll find out if this is like April of last year or like June of 2011.
You do realize we would be above $400 after that dump in less then a hour right? Donīt forget about the additional 15,691,739.87 USD swaps on Bitfinex that will get liquidated if we go near 400$. |

You know it. You are just afraid to admit it. We are approaching oversold on 4hr, but the price barely moved. $100 down days are gone and you know it. Have you noticed it is much harder to make a good profit shorting the lower we go. It should tell you something. Look at what is happening not what you want the market to do. Itīs not about 100$ moves anymore itīs about how much it moves percentage. 100$ move@1000$ is nowadays a 40$ move@400$. Mind-blowing? Try again |

Oh what now? China banned Bitcoin again? Or is it another random rumour?
Ignore everyone here who aren't yelling "trend reversal to the moon!" and guarantee that you will always be surprised when there are new drops  Some people here are good reminders of the fact, that handling wealth is not for everyone. Are you talking to me? Why would i do that? Of course i realize we can go down any minute. I'm just wondering why people have to keep on dumping. When is it enough. I just feels like these people won't stop dumping till we are at 0 and Bitcoin has become completely worthless. It's not untill then that they are happy it seems. ShroomsKit i promise that iīll close my shorts latest@ 80$ . I donīt want Bitcoin dead. Iīll just try to make it stronger by bringing it back to itīs real value(Pre-China;Pre-Gox manipulation). |

National holiday in China is soon over and weīre expectin bad news any time soon(few hours) also April 15th has been given as a deadline.
I would like to know if and how everyone is prepared if total chaos should enfold fast and we go below 100$ in the next week/months.

Itīs somehow a funny coincidence that it matches with this one:  I hope everyone has an exit or Plan B if we should go down below 100$. It is not unpossible,it becomes even more and more likely if China should be really out of the game. Do you have a Plan B , think about it? |

Here is an analyis from a neutral well schooled mind. Genuinely interested, what do people think will happen to the price in the next 3 months if the Chinese news is real?
I believe that the two rallies in 2013 were caused by the opening of the Chinese market, which created huge demand for BTC and sucked coins out of the Western markets. If the ban is real (I am not convinced yet) most of the coins in the Chinese exchange accounts may be moved to the non-Chinese exchanges. So I think this may well happen:  The black line is an exponential fitted by eyeball in log scale to the Bitstamp prices before April 2013. But I think this it is just a possibility, I would not bet on it. It is hard to guess what the big holders and investors will do: whether they will buy all the Chinese bitcoins, or dump those they already have. |

While the "China bank account closure" drama was unfolding, it seems that Neo & Bee collapsed in Cyprus, in a rather ugly way. The CEO left the country without telling staff, and is not answering questions from anyone. The staff did not receive their March salaries and therefore quit en masse. There are unpaid debts, and two customers complained to the police that they gave money to N&B to buy bitcoins but did not receive them. A financial report that was promised at the IPO is overdue, and investors who chipped in 12,000 BTC want to know where the money went. Its shares (that were not equity but only "profit shares") crashed to 1/10 of their IPO price. The collapse is being reported by the local press. Iīm trying to warn people about the ongoing decline of the BTC price due to the price that has been artificially pumped and will now slowly come back to reality. I donīt want that anyone loses money.

That in itself is, to quote your own words, really low and nasty and testifies of one of the two possible reasons which I posted above. The first one being that you hate not being there 'in time' when Bitcoin was increasing in value, the second one that you're being paid to do this.
