Realists unite and lets reconquer the thread. Bulls reigned in terror long enough in here.

Good news have little to no effect in a bear market. We never really reversed it was just an extended bull trap to 680$.  Iīm sorry but someone has to be the bearer of bad news  Sad

Did Huobi add LTC, again, (2hours ago) lolololol.

2014 will be a terrible year for all those who thought that LTC would have a repetition of itīs last years rise(LTC/BTC).
LTC will fall when BTC rises and fall even more when BTC drops. Win-Win

Thanks shroomskit for luring all of these young bitcoiners into the bull trap!
My employer is very pleased with your work and would like to offer you a permanent position. PM me
2067  Economy / Speculation / Re: Dump 3k bitcoins and we break $600 on: June 12, 2014, 04:22:40 PM
next year sure higher then this year lolz.. just take the lowest avg for example last year 200+ but this year up to today.. 400+ seems the average.. so next year the average sure > 500-800 at least... and next next is at least 1k++.. so if u buy now long term .. sure increase in the end.. your 50k investment will increase x2 if u hold.... but if u put your 50k in bank.. u only earn < 1k for interest LOL!

sub 300$ incomin. I doubt we will be over 500$ by the end of the year.
Sawadekub, get out as long as you can!

Expecting prices to touch 520-560 unless some unexpected mini-rally happens

Why?  Huh

Simple, what goes up must come down.

No it doesn't.

Have you joined the cult of shroomskit which implies that if everybody stopped selling we would already have reached 100000000$ (aka trollboxlogic)  Cheesy
2070  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why the price sticked to 620-630$? on: June 12, 2014, 12:48:38 PM
150$ at July 23rd? We will see.

Also a possibility, additional to the the decoupling from Stamp, the big seller from Stamp keeps up the price on Finex with a few of his buy walls there to keep people motivated buyin into his asks on Stamp takin advantage from the arbitrage opportunity.
When bad news hit the fan or solid TA says so most of his buy walls will vanish.
2072  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 12, 2014, 12:19:15 PM
It never be so slow. It always instant or very fast. This time it is too slow. 17 hours without payout.
Also no reply from their support.
Any thing wrong happened in bitstamp? I'm worried about next Gox.

Good luck arbitrageurs. Letīs hope that Bitfinex doesnīt crash below your Stamp entry point before the coins arrive  Cheesy Cheesy

The one thing I hate about Bitcoin rising is fonzie inevitable come to post his shit each 2 minutes. Was so good without him while we were at bottom. What a sad fuck.

Donīt you worry my darling, the times of a rising Bitcoin is over!Resumed and prolonged bear market has just started! MIght take 2-3 weeks until we hit the new bottom.

Question for the whale Bitfinex long holders:

How do you feel now that Bitfinex have officially pulled out of Bitstamp and liquidity is going down more and more? How and when do you plan to close your positions?

I think Finex should at least have announced it publicly  a few weeks before they do such a major move. Have they thought that people would send millions of USD because they added Darkcoin  Cheesy
2076  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 11, 2014, 04:00:17 PM
I really hope that they dump those 200k Goxcoins one after another on Stamp, so that all of Marks victims can soonish get partially refunded, it would be in the best interest of the Bitcoin community, altough we would have to accept that the price would go sub 300$.

Does anyone know who bought them when they were auctioned? Someone said they sold them for a price of around 1-200$?
2077  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 11, 2014, 03:57:28 PM
Possible BFX spread explanation:

A higher price if it is not liquidity related (low liquidity, large spread, low bid, high ask....) or fee related (higher fees, higher bid, higher ask) which we can safely rule out at the moment is often a sign of it being less attractive for people to withdraw fiat and instead withdraw btc leading to higher btc prices (think MtGox for a very long time), also the other way around (easier to deposit fiat ->higher btc price). This would fit as BFX offers no SEPA and now has % fees to withdrawals. It's also possible that as you said there is higher buy pressure because people have more buying power through margin trading although it could be argued that the ability to short on BFX should keep that in check.

With these possibilites it's probably a mix which leads to 1 to 2 % higher prices. BFX clients should definitely keep an eye on the spread though.

Also: the last time Bitfinex pulled out of an exchange it was G O X, a few months before they shutdown !
Stamp next?

Things might get funny on Bitfinex, now that they are no longer linked to Bitstamp... (less liquidity + ATH USD swaps!)
Will we get another finex candle down to 100$ like they had a few months ago?
Stop loss will probably get activated with around 30-40$ slippage, which will trigger more (otherwise not activated) stop less.
I see a nice rollercoaster ride incomin for them if Stamp stays bearish.
Have they already started usin Finexbux to keep the price up?

Where's the arbitrage? It's still middle of the week. It's ridiculous how inefficient this market is.

Probably bitcoins are bought in China and sold at Bitstamp. The same happened in January with MtGox.
Some insiders expect PBoC FUD soon. It's been quiet for too long.

I can confirm, it is planned to be released by the end of the week, by monday latest.
