2381  Other / Off-topic / Re: what you like best in Bitcoin ? on: December 26, 2015, 07:39:33 PM
There are mainly two things I like about bitcoin first is it keeps you anonymous and second it the fees do not depend on the amount of transaction is made of it is same for every amount of bitcoin which is good plus it is so so low fees that they charge us. Love u bitcoin

The transaction fees are charged based on the size of the transactions which is usually measured in kilo byte (kb). So, until one kb your transactions fees do not change. When 1 kb got exceeded you will be charged for 2 kb.

The size of the transaction is measured on the basis of number of inputs and outputs.
2382  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin replaces the money? Could happen? on: December 26, 2015, 03:32:54 PM
Nowadays, bitcoin can not replace fiat completely.
Because there are a lot of places in the third world that do not have any electricity services nor internet connection. They will continue dealing with fiat of course
Maybe in the future something changes, as there are some initiative like internet.org which aims to provide these services for poor places

Yes bitcoin can never replace any money. Bitcoin is just an electronic currency and can’t change anything, and it is not supported in some countries, and not accepted, though is decentralized currency. Every country has its own currency, making different country people to completely use only bitcoin is currently not possible.
2383  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: December 26, 2015, 04:10:39 AM
New Zealand vs Sri Lanka, 1st ODI

pls any tips for first inning score.

I think it will be under 240 ?

I think cricket predicting how much score one score is very difficult task so I never predict like that but I feel in this match NZ may win and they have more than 80% chance to win this match.

SL all top batsman scored less than double digit but only the current pair ( Siriwardana and Kulasekara ) scored more than 100 runs together so if this partnership continue than I can say SL will surely score more than 240 runs.

SL already lost all there wickets for just 188 runs, tt was a very bad performance from this SL team. SL was very bad situation when match was started because they lost there top orders 5 wickets just for 27 but later Siriwardana and Kulasekara put some decent runs, otherwise they mostly were all out for less than 100 runs.

In another match Australia lost there first wicket for 64 runs but I still feel Austral will surely win this test match also because WI is not so strong to face Australian bowlers.

Sri Lanka just did perform as I predicted. New Zealand is always more stronger in their home conditions. I got some decent profits once I put my odds on New Zealand when Sri Lanka got bowled out within 200 runs. The unexpected thing is they chased down the 188 runs with 21 overs at above 9 runs per over.
2384  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do girls use Bitcoin ? on: December 25, 2015, 07:08:08 PM
Yes my ex girlfriend know it and use it too and it is not different for woman and for man it is mean money and everyone use it man or girl no metter  .

You might be right. With respect to bitcoin or any currency, all the genders will accept to use it. But when it comes like an investments mostly girls or women will get second thoughts about risking their money. Many girls accept bitcoin as currency but not as investment.

Yes bitcoin is both currency as well investment. All genders will accept a currency to use it without any risk involved with that. But when it comes like an investment only men will come forward to accept and test it. Girls will just follow men for any money issues.
2385  Other / Off-topic / Re: The maximum bitcoin you have in total till now on: December 25, 2015, 10:17:46 AM
I have little over 1 bitcoin atm, I had more but I did sell some of it when the price went 450 and now I am just waiting for the price to come down, which I think it might take a while and it might also happen that it doesn't and it just keeps rising but right now I can't risk to buy more. The maximum I had at one point was 6.

I don’t normally sell my bitcoins, because, I am making use of xapo debit card, so I simply go to ATM to withdraw my bitcoin in the form of cash. But, sometimes my friends do request to buy bitcoins from me, and that is when I do sell my bitcoins to them.
2386  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin replaces the money? Could happen? on: December 25, 2015, 09:19:59 AM
again, it does not need tor eplace fiat money to be successful, why people always see all black or white

it can perfectly work in conjuction with it and be vastly adopted

Yes bitcoin does not need to replace fiats to get it's own future. Along with fiats there are big possibilities to become more successful in terms of value and user base, like people use fiats for some purpose and bitcoin for some other purpose like online transactions or as investments.

Yes both dollars and bitcoin will exist and will serve the human beings with their own features.
People may argue that bitcoin has all the features of fiat currencies. Then what is the need for fiats. But all the people in this world does not have knowledge on Internet and crypto-currencies.

You got the point. To replace dollars, bitcoin needs to come in physical form. Otherwise all the people in this world need to have internet and knowledge on cryptocurrencies. Without knowledge on internet and online transaction, it would be hard for bitcoin to replace fiats
2387  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much had you lost with bitcoin and before it?Did you won? on: December 25, 2015, 07:55:45 AM
I lost my first bitcoin in a casino game site, but, that doesn’t mean the site is a scam, the site is genuine, is just that I don’t know how to play that’s all, I just invested $22 in bitcoin, and I lost it the same day, since then I am not much interested in making investment through bitcoin.
2388  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life? on: December 24, 2015, 09:24:08 AM
to be honest gambling never fix my life. and also dont wreck my life because I only gamble with my extra money, and always gambling only for fun, yeah i've changed my habit to dont to greedy, it's like tested my lucky, win or lose it doesn't matter to me

Same is the case with me buddy. I never let gambling become my addiction. Though some people think it to be a shortcut for earning money but in my opinion it’s all a matter of chance. You may either win or loose- an equal probability. So, gambling has neither fix my life nor wreck it.
2389  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we spread Bitcoin effectively. on: December 24, 2015, 08:09:38 AM
As part of my contribution towards bitcoin ecosystem, I decided to provide bitcoin payment for my users of my paid to click website.
This way some new members will be opening bitcoin wallet accounts.
With the recent price up surge, I'm able to provide them 5% bonus when they cash out via bitcoin.

You definitely you deserve a appreciation for for the contribution and spreading spreading bitcoin ecosystem. Spreading bitcoin must be a win-win situation for all of us in this bitcoin community.
The main thing which attracted me is you are giving extra 5% as a bonus.

I agree. Spreading bitcoin must be a win win situation for the new adopter as well as for the bitcoin community.
The main part of this adoption lies when we are bringing out new investment to bitcoin ecosystem. But the new adapter who will save bitcoins equally contributing to bitcoin community as an investor.
2390  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do girls use Bitcoin ? on: December 23, 2015, 03:49:38 PM
Judging from the participants of various Bitcoin Conferences I can say that women are not really interested in cryptocurrency.
It is nothing new because IT world is dominated by men anyway. We have to believe that with greater bitcoin adoption more women will be attracted.

I do not see that IT world is dominated by men. Because in my software company, there are more women than men as girls are getting their engineering graduations easily than boys.
Same way, in my office bitcoin is more famous among girls.
2391  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's your least favorite thing about Bitcoin? on: December 23, 2015, 12:33:37 PM
Tell me all about it
of course a lot of my favorite things about bitcoin, one of it,that I can transact using the something that makes his account is very easy and simple, and I also can transact quickly and safely.dan more favorite again, I can obtain and collect bitcoin for free without having to leave the house Smiley

Totally agree with you buddy. Bitcoin is gaining popularity these days for being an easy way of making online payments and earning bitcoins for investment purpose is a good option. The only problem is that in my country-India bitcoins are not generally accepted as a mode of payment.
2392  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will bitcoin reach 500 USD again ? on: December 23, 2015, 12:30:33 PM
Soon maybe this month of next year. I am just hoping that before halving that bitcoin will just reach around 500 dollars.
If this Christmas the price is 500 dollars I would say that Santa exist. That would be a nice gift from him.

I would say this month and we will be welcoming the new year with bitcoin prices above $500 levels. Bitcoin is always shows price raises during holidays and occasions. So on this Christmas and new year celebrations we can expect price to test $500 levels again.
2393  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you play loteries ,did you won something on: December 23, 2015, 07:06:15 AM
Now in crypto-games.net lotto, first place you can earn 0.1 btc, drawing in 3 days left
per ticket 0.0001 btc
someone ever win ?

Someone will win for sure. The fact is to make myself winner I need to buy some 100 tickets. Even with 100 tickets it will not be assured for any consolation type of winning too. Only lucky people will win. I got 2 options always : 1. watch the winners  2. watch the winners with some tickets.

Yes for most of the gamblers only watching the winner is the only benefit for showing some interest towards gambling. This is most common on most of the gambling, not only for lotteries.
Still buying one or two tickets per round is not a harmful act in my gambling experience.
2394  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell some and hold rest on: December 22, 2015, 01:41:05 PM
Christmas is coming so take some rest, enjoy with your family and don't panic, It will go up again eventually.

How much of a percentage would you recommend selling and how much for holding?

My way of securing future would suggest to hold as much as you can, otherwise hold 90% we can sell the rest. Only on every peak price levels we can sell some 1 to 5 % of present holding. Peak prices must be in range of 1000's. Your next and future generations also will be benefited on my idea.
2395  Economy / Speculation / Re: satoshi's logic is not so logic on: December 22, 2015, 01:31:21 PM
He never said that as far as I know , but he said the following :

Feb. 14, 2010: "I’m sure that in 20 years there will either be very large (bitcoin) transaction volume or no volume." which means 2030 (if we start counting from the day  he  posted the quote on the forums ) and not 2020 .

Exactly. When did he ever say this? Don't just go around spreading bad rumours about Bitcoin. Can you give us a link to where he said this, or is it just fake?

It seems rumor. I tried to find anything related to this, But I could not.

Bitcoin will stay here for ever. We need not to worry on the future of bitcoin for any reason.
2396  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Christmas 2015 Bubble on: December 22, 2015, 01:13:02 PM
OP is saying the recent rise in prices has to be a bubble. I disagree. There may be one coming up in May/June, which can be named "Halving Bubble 2016". But at this point, we are still in a recovery phase from the bottom, there is no bubble yet.

Yes you are right. The recent price up surge has not witnessed any rapid raising of prices. A slow and steady price movement with reasonable volume never be categorized as bubble. Until upcoming halving we can regularly see this kind of price movements for sure.
2397  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin go back to bellow $400? on: December 22, 2015, 01:10:18 PM
For some reason we are stuck at 440. If we would have a real crash then it would be 400 already.
So it can go both ways again, but my guess is we could still go up before christmas.

May be below $400 levels you will see some crashes. But I predict there are no chances for the prices to test $400 levels before upcoming halving. Christmas and new year celebrations are some factors which would push the market to go for only one reason halving.
2398  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: December 22, 2015, 12:31:27 PM
One reason for people not using bitcoin is that it is not issued by governments, so there is no protection from the governments.

There is no seize from government side also.
The stopping reason you have mentioned might be the one of the reason many people are into bitcoin ecosystem. Bitcoin provides freedom in many aspects.
2399  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do people around you think about Bitcoin ? on: December 22, 2015, 12:28:38 PM
People give me weird looks when i say Bitcoin Undecided and they hand me over a card which leads me to an experienced psychiatrist.

Yes I also faced similar kind of situations, not with my close friend but with less known FB friend. I started to him after knowing that he has a finance graduation. He argued bitcoin breaks all the eligibility for being money and refused to accept bitcoin in any manner and suggested me to visit yoga classes.
2400  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cheapest price you bought your Bitcoin(s) on: December 22, 2015, 12:15:07 PM
Luckily I was able to buy when bitcoin was priced around 215 USD. I'm not a regular buyer, when ever I save little money I do buy some bitcoin. So, there is point needed to coincide bitcoin's lower price and my savings were to be enough for buying minimum.
