When will this be posted on Github ?
I've asked bongger about this and he assures me he'll get it up there soon. IDK what "soon" is for him though. It's damn hard to pry him away from his bong... unless it's to get munchies!

good coin
What is the total of the coins??
Made a new thread here in the Bongger forum showing the coin specs. <edit> It's 504mil. Go to the bottom of the page at the Bonggers website to find the specs.

Thanks for the link. Breaking more rules isn't going to make us be sympathetic.
A wild ban evader has appeared!
Pardon me, but what? Care to elaborate? What link? What rule? Are you calling me a ban evader? I don't understand. <edit> I'm guessing you just want me to drop the subject. Wish granted.

Am happy that something has been done to prevent this from happening. Too many topics where been made just to promote and give coins out for people to use and try creating lot of exposure and good vibes about coins when most where just worthless. If people want to do a give away then at least do that give-away on their own site or a place where it can be done. Maybe make a section up just for coin giveaway to keep stuff in one section and no everywhere.
Just so it is clear, and I know it doesn't excuse them, but they weren't doing a giveaway. They were helping people that were scammed by another coin. Just a heads up to the Pandacoin (PND) community. We might be experiencing some posts from the Rightcoin community. We are doing another community compensation campaign for those that got hurt with unethical scammy developers, similar to our initiative with Rightcoin.
So just a heads up and not to confuse you all when that happens!
They obviously should have directed people to post offsite regarding this, but it's still very sad that the Pandacoin devs or community weren't given a warning and the offending posts deleted. Instead they were punished (unfairly imo) for caring for the cryptocurrency community in general. Meanwhile, real scammers often are not. There was plenty of warning. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=434310I'm not trying to be difficult, but would it have really been so difficult to post a warning with a link to that thread in the Panda's thread beforehand? I imagine it would've taken 2 extra seconds to post a warning as apposed to locking the thread. Just seems kinda cold and heartless to me. There are over 2000 posts in that thread. Doesn't that say something to the importance of this community? As someone wise once said... Rules are born from principles to protect the righteous and innocent. Rigidly adhering to rules where the result violates the spirit of their principles is unwise and self defeating.

I just wanted to give it one last try to save the old Panda (thread). At least it will be known that it wasn't because of a "giveaway" that the thread was closed. We have over 1000 votes on usecryptos. How are we not accepted yet?

One of the most enduring coins I have seen, dev is still working on the coin. If a nuclear war happen, PND will survive it.
Well said. lol. I was thinking the same thing. It hasn't even been a day yet. Did theymos say there was no chance in reinstating the old thread? Even though I think you could've given him some more time to think about it, it's nice to see the awesome Panda devs and community overcome this hiccup and move on.

WOW lovely website. I sent pm for the giveaway with my address is that o.k? Also I can blog about if if you like on my coin blog. Thank you, qiwoman. That would be amazing! Bongger can definitely use the exposure. There is even a bounty for, "Media Coverage, Articles, SEO, etc.: 10,000 - 1,000,000 Depending on exposure and value." I quoted that from the rough draft we are working on for a new ANN thread. I don't know when it will be completed exactly, but I'm sure "bongger" will pay you the bounty nonetheless. Please submit your request for the giveaway in this thread on the Bongger forum. Thank you. <edit> I've just added a new thread called "Bongger Bounties" for anyone who's interested.

In the future, just direct people offsite and I'm sure it will be fine.
still, no warning? that's just wrong. I couldn't agree more, but the only thing to do now, aside from petitioning the admin, is to learn from this and don't let it happen again.

I hope theymos reconsiders and frees the pandas. I'm sure they won't offend again. The OP was paying people who posted their addresses in the thread. This violates the rule: Specifically, you are not allowed to give people any incentive to post insubstantial posts in your threads.
I don't care why they were paying people. Please consider deleting the offending posts and re-opening the thread, since I'm sure they've "learned their lesson". This coin has a strong community full of good people that were just trying to do some good. Thank you for your consideration.

I find it hard to believe this coin is done. The distribution was decent. No pre-mine. The wallet is awesome. Excellent staking percentages. The graphics are killer, and who doesn't love the smurfs.
Dev don't give up on this coin. You could have something great here.
At least make a post to the community and let them know your intentions either way.
It's got huge potential.
I don't think this coin will die. Maybe it's just taking a siesta. Any coin can get taken over by it's community for the good of the coin. Pinkcoin is a great example. Don't give up just yet.

Am I allowed to say pinkcoin to the moon? I can delete this post if it offends Lemme check... Allright people.... we're in the top 10 on Bittrex. Volume rise from 3 BTC yesterday to 42 BTC today. I think it's safe to say, Pinkcoin is to the moon already. Am I allowed to say pinkcoin to the moon? I can delete this post if it offends Yes we will stop at the moon for a few days. There are some stranded people there looking for a lift. We will then continue our journey higher Damn right pinkcoin to the moon! Maybe we can leave our mark before we move on.
