2381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: IEO Launchpad BOUNTY on: May 13, 2019, 11:22:41 AM
IEO generally hold in famous exchange will not have a bounty because they will get free promotion. On the other hand, IEO in less familiar exchange/new exchange are the same of the current ICO. It's better you don't waste your time. I have had a bad experience with airdrop, bounty.

I found an interesting way to display the fund of the escrowed address without manually change it. I guess you too will enjoy it.

2383  Local / India / Re: When did you buy your first bitcoin? on: May 13, 2019, 08:47:29 AM
In year 2012 when bitcoin price was 600$ only.
I purchased 10$ Worth bitcoin only. It sold later In few months.
In 2012, bitcoin was worth $600/ each? Wasn't it lower than that? I'm probably mistaken since I have been lately introduced with bitcoin.
This reddit post shows price was $7 only and got pumped at 2013.

2384  Local / Mining (India) / Re: Miners from India on: May 13, 2019, 06:14:18 AM
Anyone active here? I'm interested in learning mining bitcoin. I'm not sure where to start my study for mining because I'm newbie in this industry. Is mining profitable in India?
Please guide me a little.
If your plan is to mine bitcoin in 2019 i would suggest you against it, if you are looking for profit, investing in bitcoin is the best option rather than investing money in mining hardware, even if you are able to spend a million for the hardware, the amount of heat that produces from these machines will be huge and you need to spend a lot of money to keep the temperature at bay, in short it is not a viable option but you can mine for fun.
If you really wanted to mine, then check out alt coins if you can get hold of cheap graphic cards, return of investment for the amount of money we spend and the maintenance will be a hurdle, consider all these before jumping into it.
If you are staying in a sub zero temperature and the electricity charges are cheap i will encourage you to mine. Smiley
I am interested to learn the process practically. Otherwise, it's almost impossible to acquire knowledge on it. I might consider mining altcoin later, but the only purpose is to learn it.
What's the minimum cost I have to spend?

A big thank to you for sharing it here as well as icoethics for fighting against scam. I never have had invested in any ICO/IEO, because I'm still newbie, but I am trying to learn in depth about these stuff. Couple of days ago, I too had shared a short notice for users not to invest in ICO so randomly.

2389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Brave browser on: May 13, 2019, 04:29:58 AM
Just check an article. I have no idea that I can earn while I browse. That's pretty interesting. Do anyone already have earned some BAT token from this?
I will probably give it a try tonight. Have already downloaded the Brave browser.

You can earn BATs up to $10 a month. Varies from month to month and your personal browsing activity. But you need to know - in order to prevent any dissapointments - you can not withdraw those earned BATs yet. You can only donate them to websites, youtubers and twitcher at the moment. Withdrawal feature however is in development.
So, what's the benefit of using Brave now. If I am correct there's way of earning through referral and you can withdraw the amount through uphold account once you link your uphold account with brave browser.

2392  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some basic crypto scam you should know to avoid loss your hard worked money. on: May 12, 2019, 04:30:19 AM
Couple of days ago, I have seen 2 or 3 cases where victims claimed they sent BTC to their address but later they discovered the address was not the same as they copied and pasted.
It's a type of malware which changes copy/paste address and replace with the hackers address.

Example- Beware from the malware
2393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Strange website /cryptocoines.com SCAM? on: May 11, 2019, 04:58:19 AM
This is a serial scammer creating website at a daily basis and creating thread here. You will be given a registration bonus, for withdraw the fund, you must have to play roulette one time, you will win a big hand. After that, you will be required to deposit a little amount of BTC to withdraw the fund.
That's his way of scamming people. Ignore websites any of these kinds.
2394  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [BEWARE] Coinbase fake support's number on: May 10, 2019, 04:40:48 PM
That's probable but in my case, I don't register it with any ICO, airdrop but I have it registered on an exchange. Is it possible that someone from exchange is leaking our numbers?
Probably it's an inside job which I have been faced in one of my local ride sharing service used for another purpose. Later he got caught by the authority.
It is also probable that our database is somehow being leaked or the hacker has hacked the database.
2395  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: Buy/Sell BTC Launched Worldwide-100's of payment modes, gift cards bank transfer on: May 10, 2019, 04:28:07 PM
Is it possible to sell btc using payoneer in coinbazaar? I need some payoneer in order to pay some service fees. On top of that, what about the trust issue? How can I trust your site?
2396  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Thanks to signature campaign that pays BTC! on: May 10, 2019, 04:01:15 PM
Personally, I get enough money from my regular job, so I don't have to use my earnings from signature campaigns for urgent needs. I just hold biggest part of my earnings. But when I was unemployed, BTC from signature campaign (and other sources) was really helpful. Unless you live in poor country, it's impossible to earn for a living just from signature campaigns, but it's great to have extra source of income, even if it's not that big. Especially if your  regular job aren't paying that good. It can help in such urgent cases like described in OP. Or you can save it for big purchase or holiday trip for example. There is unlimited ways to spend earned money lol Cheesy
People from poor countries can lead a standard life if they are participating in a campaign like Chipmixer, bitsler. In my case, I'm having at least 20x more income from my regular job and freelancing work than the signature campaign I'm promoting now. For the chipmixer promoter, I guess here in my local, anyone can lead a minimum standard life.

2398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Insurance for trading exchange on: May 09, 2019, 09:09:39 AM
They already do have fund for backing these stuff up. Not only Binance, I believe most of the exchanges have a separate fund for facing unnecessary stuff like this. Business too follow the same strategy for avoiding unknown risk in the future.
2399  Local / India / Re: Impact of Loksabha election on bitcoin price on: May 09, 2019, 08:52:44 AM
I don't get it, how is Lok Sabha election is going to affect Bitcoin price. Isn't the Bitcoin price was made on the basis of exchanges like demand and supply stuff.
I am not sure what the point of OP here but I guess there's way of being connected. During the election, a huge amount of money is being transferred for various purposes and I guess they can use bitcoin too, however, it barely have a relation with the price, I believe.
2400  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to calculate bitcoin transaction size and fees on: May 09, 2019, 08:49:19 AM
Well, but one can combine various  inputs from both legacy and segwit (p2sh, bech32) addresses into one transaction. Does anyone know how to calculate the transaction fee in this case? Is there any formula to do that? I have asked this question in Russian section and they pointed me to https://coinb.in/#fees  site that could help in estimation. Regardless,  I would like to  have the reliable   mathematical formula to control the fee.
For controlling the fee, I guess, you don't need to know the mathematical formula. However, the formula is for calculation of transaction size, not for the fees. Fees can be found at your pointed web, you can pay less or more, it's your choice.
