1  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Tutorial] of getting live price of Cryptocurrencies on Google_Spreedshet on: January 03, 2024, 04:52:55 PM
It doesn't support the price of many cryptocurrencies. It's limited to very few cryptocurrencies I guess; BTC, ETH, LTC & a few more. I tried this earlier to keep track of my portfolio performance but due to limitations, I couldn't use it as I had few altcoins as well (small investment though LOL). I tried another method as well but unfortunately, I failed to fetch data in the spreadsheet. I'm using coinmarketcap for now.

The image doesn't look good at all. You can bold the text so it gets more visible.
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Focus on how much you may lose and not only the potential win. on: January 03, 2024, 04:32:19 PM
I have different point of view tbh, I will not focus on how much I may lose as well as the potential win but I'll focus more on how to manage my money.
Exactly, I share the same point of view. I have my gambling amount budget fixed for every month. I wouldn't have a problem even if I lost them all because the sum is in my budget already. Usually, I spend less amount than my budget LOL. I don't consider myself a gambler either; it's fun to play, and place bets.

in fact the more ambitious you are to win, the more difficult it will be for you to get that win.
If someone is running after chasing the wins, I guess they are likely to lose their bankroll so fast.
3  Economy / Gambling / Re: sportscasino.io no kyc instant payments on: January 03, 2024, 03:45:11 PM
Can anyone share their experience on trying the $10 freebet? Did anyone try? Feel free to share your experience. I'm not sure what OP is trying to achieve here with such fishy activities. In the past, we have seen so many scam tricks here that I can't believe a new casino with no professional start here; I know OP isn't the official team member.

You can put anything to the required fields. Just take a username and email. No verification is needed under no circumstances.
If there's no verification required, why is all this information asked in the first place Roll Eyes That's kinda strange LOL.
4  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Transaction Rebroadcast on: January 03, 2024, 03:07:31 PM
As suggested by Charles-Tim above, resubmit your transaction to ViaBTC free accelerator.
Do that even if there is no remaining free hourly transaction.

If they don't have your transaction in their mempool at all, you should see a message saying transaction doesn't exist.
I tried several times and it says "Accelerating the transaction" which means they have the TX in their mempool. They have included some TXs with 24 sats/byte IIRC in the meantime but didn't include the said TX which was supposed to be included. That was a total surprise for me. Since the TX had more fees than 24 sats/byte, I can't think of any possible reason for excluding it.
Thank you for the great explanation. Learning some more technical things every day whenever I'm in a discussion  Cool
5  Economy / Gambling / Re: sportscasino.io no kyc instant payments on: January 02, 2024, 05:55:10 PM
you can buy credits directly from payment provider and here from me and receive your payments directly from same source.
What does that mean? Why would anyone be interested in buying credit from you? Why have you proposed that in the first place? Everything including your profile and your activities here seems fishy enough to ignore the website. You are trying to scam. No one on the earth with the right mind would believe what you have offered just now LOL.

I guess your $10 free bet requires a deposit to withdraw the winning. Was I able to read your mind LOL?
6  Other / Beginners & Help / Transaction Rebroadcast on: January 02, 2024, 05:27:48 PM
It's a basic question I got in my mind recently. It may sound silly as I have been in Bitcoin for a few years now LOL.

I had a TX accelerated through viabtc (example, not true; not my TX actually). The TX was created 10 days ago. Due to competition, I couldn't get a free slot in viabtc free accelerator. But recently, I was able to submit in their accelerator. Unfortunately, the TX wasn't included in the block viabtc mined. Well, I guess the transaction was dropped from the mempool as it says local on the Electrum wallet.

What do I need to do? I guess "rebroadcast" the TX. I believe I'm correct, ain't I?

Instead of rebroadcasting the TX from the Electrum wallet, is it the same if I do it through any website? For instance- https://blockchair.com/broadcast
If I put the TX ID there and broadcast, am I fine? Do I have to do anything else?
7  Economy / Gambling / Re: IsItProvablyFair.org - Instantly verify if the game you just played was fair! on: January 02, 2024, 04:14:19 PM
Yeah, when you run through 8 million games, it can take up to 10+ seconds to get a result.  I'll try to make it faster by upgrading the server,  if there's enough interest for the site.
I see. It means when we will have 16 million games, it will be further slower. You must upgrade to a better server LOL, Don't forget to attach a Bitcoin address to the website so that interested users can contribute to running the tools. I may contribute a little when the fee is cheap enough LOL.
You have another tool to check the profit on bustabit investment profit calculator. I can't access the site. Did you abandon the project?
8  Economy / Gambling / Re: IsItProvablyFair.org - Instantly verify if the game you just played was fair! on: January 02, 2024, 03:43:26 PM
Great tool! I have played Crash on bustabit for the first time and that has been a few years LOL.
I just have checked a few games from bustabit and it works fine. It takes a little time to get the result. Can you make it a bit faster?

If this website gains traction and if there's interest for it, I'll be extending support for other casinos too. Do not hesitate to give feedback and let me know what you all think!  Grin
I guess there aren't a lot of players who usually verify the game; I haven't seen many bothering on this LOL. Nevertheless, feel free to add support for moneypot as well. I played there last month.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why are casinos adding sportsbook on their platform? on: January 02, 2024, 03:23:09 PM
When you have a few bunches of products, you will have a bigger marketplace. That's what casinos are focusing on. All business wants to expand their business & there's nothing wrong with running a casino & sportsbook together.
Although there are thousands of casinos, few of them want to be unique by targeting a unique group of gamblers. If the site is focused on Dice games; dice is their main product & they may add a sportsbook as their secondary product. Simple as that LOL & it's obviously profitable. On top, gamblers don't play certain types of games. Some gamblers play slot games & place bets on sportsbook as well. It's an advantage to have both casino games & sportsbook for them.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You want to make USDT transaction, check transaction fee across chains on: January 01, 2024, 04:46:41 PM
if you use custodial wallet/exchange, the cost will be higher since they charge more.

Binance charges a $1 fee for withdrawal of USDT through TRC20; and $8 for ERC20. I guess the on-chain fee for sending both ERC20 & TRC20 tokens is higher, isn't it? That's an advantage LOL although I recommend avoiding CEX.

It's better to avoid any chain that asked for large fees.
Bitcoin on-chain fee has been outrageous for the last few weeks. The fee was quite high. I had to pay more than a $50 fee on a TX; I had many inputs. Nevertheless, would you stop using the Bitcoin chain for that? I believe you wouldn't do that.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC unconfirmed transactions exceed 500k on mempool on: January 01, 2024, 03:56:37 PM
No, it won't as we have seen such amount of congestion in the past.
In the past, it was temporary I guess although I had no idea about the fee market before 2019. I heard that there was a spike in the fee back in 2017. But this time, you know what's causing it & we are likely to see the spike every now & then. That's not something good I guess. That's going to create more problems in the coming days.

Quote
If you want to know more then search Google by typing Bitcoin lightning network as it is the only solution to these high transaction fees.

True indeed but that's not an on-chain solution. Something must be done on-chain to solve the issue.
12  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some tips to help protect yourself from crypto scam on: January 01, 2024, 02:45:45 PM
There is no trusted exchanges. If they are centralized exchanges, you can not trust them with your money.
Exchanges help us trade our coins. I guess there's nothing wrong with using exchanges. Binance is trusted; they are unlikely to scam you. They may withhold your cryptocurrency but they would only do that if they have a valid reason for doing so. I hate Binance because they are one of the stupid entities in the market but they aren't going to scam you. Well, if you mean using exchange as wallet, that's a big NO for obvious reason; Not your key, not your coins. I don't mind using a CEX but that must for trade only.
13  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - Drake, UFC, Everton, Alfa Romeo F1 Team on: January 01, 2024, 02:32:39 PM
I think a swap feature is handy and usefull to have in any site; there are not a lot of sites that offer it but I have used it quite a lot whenever available.
Which casino has a swap feature? I can't remember if I have ever seen the feature anywhere. Feel free to share if any.

OK good news here, we start the new year at Stake with pre monthly bonus, feel free to claim it with above link.
I wasn't lucky enough to claim the bonus LOL. Was it only for VIPs? I am not a VIP there unfortunately & I was a bit inactive for the last few months in Stake; hardly have played. It's great that Stake shared the bonus with their loyal players. I wish I was one of them  Smiley
14  Economy / Gambling / Re: What do you want to see in casino reviews? on: December 30, 2023, 05:17:15 PM
I hardly have read casino reviews; I don't use any unknown casinos TBH. Bitcointalk always remains the best source of information for me when picking up a casino. Nevertheless, I found gamblingbro.com as the best casino review as they want to give a better insight and real experience to their audience. Take an hour or two to check them out. Since they don't use any affiliate links (I guess), they are unlikely to be biased while writing a review for any casino.
I just had a look at your platform and read one review. TBH, it seems you are just another casino review platform with nothing different or unique information. That's where GamblingBro has some creativity and advantages over other casino review platforms.
15  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Safety first before accumulation, a lesson I learnt the hard way on: December 30, 2023, 05:09:26 PM
You were not scammed or lost your bitcoin because you did not have a hardware wallet; rather, you lost them because you were careless with your private keys and you were not security conscious. Many people here do not own a hardware wallet and have no idea how to use one, yet they have never complained about being compromised.
True indeed but that doesn't change the fact that HW must be the choice. Hot wallets are risky; no matter what security measures you are applying, you can still make mistakes. While with HW one can still get hacked, but that one step reduces the chances of getting compromised to almost zero. BTW, it's not hard to use a HW; everyone can use them as they are easy peasy.

But, if you frequently make transactions and need quick access to your funds, a software wallet may be more suitable for me than a hardware wallet.
Have you ever used a HW? I don't see why would a software wallet be better than HW for regular transactions. I guess it's a myth along with the same as HW is for a big amount. Most of us don't use Bitcoin as a hedge; we invest to make some profit. If you have $1000 worth of BTC right now, don't you think it can be $5000 within a few months? Don't we invest with that hope? If you don't secure your $1000 today, you are putting a risk in your potential $5000, man. C'mon.
16  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: ViaBTC offers no more free TX acceleration? on: December 30, 2023, 08:44:48 AM
When I visited viabtc, I always saw it's already in 0 free submission. If it's a visual bug then I don't know the reason behind it but I haven't heard or notice about viabtc having a visual bug on their website.
The visual bug was probably about the 19 free transaction acceleration slots that were displayed for almost an hour and yet when one tried to enter their TX I did, an error "Submissions are beyond limit. Please try later."
Did you read hosseinimr93's explanation above? It's not a visual bug; they have a limitation as explained by hosseinimr93. They don't want to fill the whole block with a very low fee while they can get far better fee from the block mined.

Or maybe viaBTC is pushing for their paid and premium services right now?
LOL. I guess it's unlikely that they are trying to manipulate this. Looking at the paid accelerator fees, I doubt anyone thinking of paying a low fee, would be using such a paid service & they know that as well.
17  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎰🎰🎰 Wagabet.com 🎰🎰🎰 unique cool games - 100% provably fair - wager bonuses on: December 29, 2023, 03:33:30 PM
It was fun until I want to withdraw it and the fee was 0.0015 I mean this hella expensive in my opinion is that possible you can lower the transaction fee or you can add desire fee for user to choose.
LOL. It's not Wagabet only that charges such huge fees for processing BTC withdrawals. I found a lot of well-established & reputed casinos are charging high fees after the recent spike in on-chain fees. That's why these days I'm trying to play with some popular altcoins instead of Bitcoin. Nevertheless, since the reward was 10k sats, I guess Wagabet can reduce the fee for anyone claiming this bonus. BTW, what's the procedure to get the bonus? I would appreciate it if Wagabet considers crediting the bonus with some altcoin with low fees; LTC for instance.
18  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - Drake, UFC, Everton, Alfa Romeo F1 Team on: December 29, 2023, 03:11:58 PM
-snip-
Any service from third-parties.

It's always have possibility to become a scam, do you know some legit service that turns on to be scammed? We already see that. So, IMO people should be aware of the risks and use the money they can afford to lose.
I doubt they will turn out to be scammers. With the recent spike in on-chain fees, they are trying to take advantage to make a little profit. They sound legit; not vouching for them LOL. I will be using them shortly and won't forget to share a review here so that other users can get help.

So I think wagering $20k for the week to get $5 bonus drops are out of the question for the remainder of the year. Cheesy
Are you kidding me? That's too low to offer a $5 bonus for $20k wagering LOL. There are a lot of other casinos that offer far better promo AFAIK; although it's not something for me. I hardly have wagered $20k in a month.
19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: ViaBTC offers no more free TX acceleration? on: December 28, 2023, 09:35:02 AM
Edit:
It seems that my guess was correct.
ViaBTC just mined a block and they accepted more transactions for free acceleration after that.
The number of remaining hourly free transactions is now zero.
I was confused and thought it was a bug from ViaBTC LOL. I haven't thought about that. I just have checked the site and found out that there's no remaining hourly free tx. BTW, what's their criteria for not accepting new acceleration request until they find new block? Is it because they want some high fee txs to be included in the block they mine? Or just because we have block size limit? I haven't found any such criteria on their site.
20  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: ViaBTC offers no more free TX acceleration? on: December 28, 2023, 08:25:36 AM
I used ViaBTC free accelerator last week and it worked fine at that time although I had 2 failed attempts before a successful submission. I haven't used them in the last few days.

Total Accelerated Transactions:

702101

Let us see if it's going to change or there will be added transactions from that number within the next hours after I post this.
It will get changed because they do offer free acceleration but read what hosseinimr93 has shared. Ordinal spammers are abusing through the help of some automated tools to submit low-fee txs; there's no way we can beat automated tools LOL.

But acceleration service is always more expensive but Mempool offers it effective rate compared to Binance and viabtc but still RBF is way lot cheaper than using a paid accelerator but this isn't about paid accelerator, just the free one which is only offered by Viabtc.
A paid accelerator is only useful when you need acceleration a lot of times. I don't know the fee of ViaBTC paid accelerator or mempool though. Regardless, it can still be beneficial when you have a lot of txs to accelerate. Otherwise, it's a waste of money.

Edit- It seems I was wrong. I thought ViaBTC charges a subscription-based fee while it's for every tx LOL.

Edit

I found something weird on ViaBTC free acceleration. I was checking it and found 19 remaining hourly free tx. Out of curiosity, I tried with a pending tx from the mempool; it says submissions are beyond the limit. After a few refreshing, the remaining hourly free acceleration remains at 19 LOL.
