Great points stated. No matter which team get qualified for 3/4 slot but one thing is for sure. Australia women cricket team is going to win the championship.
What an amazing game they played against New Zealand. There is something amazing about Aussie be it men's team or women's team. They do not compromise on less. Only victory!

The final round of matches for the preliminary phase is ongoing and even now it is possible for West Indies, England and India to qualify for the next round. Australia has so far won all of their matches are they are in a commanding position in the ongoing match against Bangladesh as well. South Africa is the second team that has qualified. After today's match, three more matches remain and the qualification slots for 3rd and 4th position will be decided on the basis of the outcome from these matches. My prediction for 3/4 is England and India.
My choice too India and England. We can't underestimate West Indies team. The women's team is also same as the West Indies mens team to give unexpected performance, and this time every match has got over. However India is to face South Africa which seems to be a tough match. For England it is to play against Bangladesh. In today's match Bangladesh have scored less, and Australia have lost early wickets. If it had scored above 200 runs, Bangladesh could've got a chance to win the match.

In this year's IPL, we are going to see something different. IPL 2022 will be played on 26 March 2022, and it will last until 29 May 2022, a time-frame that has never been seen before. Keeping track of two months long events and watching every game can be very challenging. Hoping the management will succeed in implementing their plan and not bring boring results in the end.

In the wake of the IPL's inaugural season, MS Dhoni has announced his decision to step down as captain of the Chennai Super Kings. A captain's era has come to an end. Arguably the most successful captain of the IPL. Rajindra Jadeja is expected to lead the team in IPL 2022. Best wishes to Ravinder Jadeja.
This season of IPL is something same as the previous one. The previous IPL season took place at two different time period due to the lack pandemic. This time on a single stretch the matches were planned and things will happen as scheduled. Addition of two new teams make new expectation.

Dhoni have planned something big, maybe he have plans of concentrating much on scoring. He have done right by choosing Ravinder Jadeja as the next captain for CSK.

Russia being an oil rich country, even the western nations that are against Russia keeps the oil imports. The sanctions have affected the economy very bad. With the usage of cryptocurrency governments and the people managed to surviv  mn e. As an immediate effort to recover the inflation of ruble Putin have revealed statement, all countries not in the friend list of Russia to pay for oil in the form of ruble. Putin have given order to the banking authorities to take care of the arrangements to provide ruble for them.

Putin have been making big plans to recover the economy. Only the usage of renewable energy can make sanction more effective, because Putin have well understood the need of oil. So, in someway he'll bring in the money.
2384  Economy / Economics / Re: US warns India over oil deal with Russia on: March 24, 2022, 04:18:54 AM
The latest warning given by USA on weapon trade. India is the largest importing country from Russia. During the year 2017-2021 it was found to be 46% whereas with other countries it constitutes about 27.3% and with USA it is just 12.1%. During the year 2021 India tops the import list on weapons, and it is about 17.2%. Now USA have imposed heavy sanctions over Russia. By the time countries that import weapons will also be imposed with specific sanctions.

These are Ukrainian clubs, not Russian. Destroying stadiums that were built only 10 years for the #EURO2012 is also killing football in this independent country.

In all possible way organisations and governments were showing their opposition to the war, but the agressive move of Putin is getting continued. Initially they weren't attacking any of the buildings, in between started to attack the infrastructure of the country. The latest being the kidnapping of children. This is completely unacceptable and against humanity. What does the child know, this will create hate over Russia in their minds and the same lasts forever.

More than 2,300 children ‘kidnapped’ by Russian forces, says Ukraine

This is not his first jackpot win. Earlier he have won $20k win from the same casino, but on a different machine. His luck have come through his wife. There is no data on how many spins have been made before making such a big win. This is called pure luck, because if his wife haven't insisted he might've left the place. This looks like coincidence of luck and fate. If that was me, I could've made a maximum of 10 spins.
2387  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chess online? on: March 22, 2022, 07:33:54 AM
The computer can calculate every possible move, its a brute force tactic.   I'm glad they can detect and remove people who use that kind of assistance, its really pathetic.   It wont be that rare among the general population because some people will aim to cheat at just about any game they possibly can but actual proper chess players I would hope not as would you ever really improve.
Sadly I did hear of a top player recently caught using a computer while taking a rest room break, I'll look for the link

Chess Grandmaster Admits to Cheating by Using Smartphone in Bathroom Stall

This incident happened few years back, and in this case Igors Rausis admitted of using smartphone in bathroom during a tournament. He's the oldest player in the top 100 list of chess players. The chess federation also confirmed the act of computer assisted cheating.
2388  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto is a part of war now, like it or not on: March 22, 2022, 06:08:02 AM
This isn't a crypto war. This time the digital attacks were found more powerful than the weapon attacks. For this reason we can't term it a crypto war. Different way of digital attacks were made.

Most recent one being the popular hacking team anonymous breached local TV network and the real face of Putin and the sufferings of people and soldiers. With this breach the misinformation that has been spread around by the Russian government have come to end. By the time it keeps hacking organization websites and have been collecting funds to support Russians who were against the war.

After the war began, the group breached over 300 Russian targets and collected about RUB 1 billion.

2389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Bitcoin Cash Could Become Legal Tender on: March 22, 2022, 12:46:15 AM

St. Maarten, a constituent country of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, could make Bitcoin Cash, the most prominent fork of Bitcoin, its legal tender.

Bitcoin Cash Could Become Legal Tender

There is no official information and I'm not sure how far this is true. When countries keep on planning to consider bitcoin as legal tender, a country to consider Bitcoin Cash as legal tender is a different view.

Brison is the world’s first elected official to accept his salary in Bitcoin Cash cryptocurrency.

Quote
Brison described the Bitcoin fork as “innovative” and “fast-growing.”

During the fork it created the biggest controversy of cryptospace. Which is the true bitcoin. Bitcoin Cash was among the biggest cryptocurrencies by marketcap, but it wasn't able to keep up the growth. Earlier it was discussed as the contender for bitcoin, but it failed to perform. The one stated to be the true bitcoin now holds a 0.34% market dominance. I don't know how far this adoption of bitcoin Cash as legal tender gonna help St. Maarten.
2390  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin VS Oil VS Russia VS Ukraine on: March 21, 2022, 11:56:01 PM
Are the government going to also sanction exchanges and wallet owners?
If you're using a non-custodial wallet, there's nothing to worried about.  No one can compensate your wallet and no one can access it except you.
There's nothing the government does on the decentralized currency most especially Bitcoin, it might have a slight effect on the Bitcoin price but as per see, it was a good effect because as we saw Bitcoin price increased despite a war.  Even Rusia and Ukraine used Bitcoin as their alternative currency.

It's not right to compare Bitcoin to stocks like Oil, Bitcoin is digital while those you mentioned above it's totally different.

As said bitcoin is completely different from the stocks and other forms of investments, but I feel it also have some impact. Whatever the market, they'll be tied together in some means. Maybe the impact felt upon vary.

During the beginning days of Russia's invasion on Ukraine bitcoin market crashed, same is with the stocks. Further the price bounced which is unexpected. This is where bitcoin differ from stocks. For now amidst the war and other global incidents bitcoin is on the good move with more countries legalizing its usage.
2391  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you ever JOMO? on: March 21, 2022, 11:31:57 PM
I learned about this word today too. It stands for 'Joy Of Missing Out".

You were thinking of buying a coin and later that coin dumps to oblivion. That's JOMO!
Many times, especially with ethereum at some point.
This I've experienced recently with Casper. I tried to participate in the presale and I wasn't able to get in. It was discussed to be good project and to what is being discussed it had good volume and the price peaked above $1 on listing for trade. I was completely upset as I wasn't able to get in the queue. Further the price kept dropping, and now it is around $0.07 which is the pre-sale price.

What about the price dumping simply after you sold that coin? We need to find a new term for that as well.
Maybe we can term as "LOS - Loss On Sale" or "LAS - Loss After Sale"
2392  Other / Off-topic / Re: Jake Paul vs Conor McGregor on: March 21, 2022, 11:14:15 PM
The Paul Brothers were always attention seekers, already they're popular in some platform. What they're doing is destructing the real value of UFC. For popularity stunt they keep on making exhibition matches and makes money. In other sports it isn't possible to get in and make money. Here they've got the easy access and the same is being properly used by the Paul Brothers. Nothing offensive, but Connor fighting against Jake Paul might bring good sum of money but it will lower his profile for sure.
2393  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Honduras to declare Bitcoin as a legal tender? on: March 21, 2022, 11:02:30 PM
Small countries were slowly making themselves into the cryptospace. Now Honduras is on preparation, and Malaysia seems to the next on the list. Honduras have got small population and this makes it easy to adopt against the large countries. With just around 10 million population making arrangements is an easy thing. Honduras is more courageous than El Salvador, because it have got its own national currency lempira.
2394  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador has become the first country to make #Bitcoin legal tender! 🇸🇻 on: March 21, 2022, 03:08:08 AM
That is a pretty significant adoption already, considering it's been what? A few months? I did not expect it to happen this fast, I confess, especially considering how unhappy the locals seemed to be initially.
Not the entire local population, small groups of locals united together and they were protesting against the adoption of bitcoin. This protest took place in the capital where more than thousand people marched with slogans against bitcoin adoption. Once after the success of the adoption there is not much of opposition. This itself a big success, though El Salvador is a small country.

2395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not profitable anymore, Altcoins like Avalanche / Algorand etc. are on: March 20, 2022, 11:59:02 PM
What OP have said is the truth, better technology always wins. Same is happening with the cryptocurrency. Even with more and more innovative projects it wasn't able to compete bitcoin. Even now bitcoin is set as the reference and the projects were developed. What OP have mentioned looks like promoting projects making comparison against bitcoin. The altcoins suggested were potential ones, but such a hype isn't required.

Earlier during the days of ICO we can see promotions with comparison against bitcoin in terms of transaction fee, confirmation, and different other technical parameters. Finally after the launch we can't see the same getting used anywhere.
2396  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: March 20, 2022, 11:47:31 PM
What about the women's final?

Not sure what to bet, but I just go with my guts over 21.5 with good @1.98 boosted.

This could end up in 3 sets, with a lot of rally from the two ladies, I wanted to go and bet on Sakkari ML, but we will see. Swiatek though is really playing high level so it's hard to bet against her.
Swiatek won the match on direct sets 6-4, 6-1 and this went as a very short game. Sakkari tried hard in the first set and in the second set she wasn't able to come back to the game. With this win Swiatek have moved to the world number two position. Earlier Swiatek and Sakkari have played four matches, among that three matches were won by Swiatek on direct sets. Once again the same have happened.
2397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk Wont Sell his Bitcoin on: March 20, 2022, 11:38:38 PM
How much Bitcoin does he currently own? Did he make that public yet?

No he never gave any information about it. For me it was surprising that he owns Bitcoin at all. So far, to my knowledge, he had only confirmed that he owned Doge but not Bitcoin. He always tweeted positively about it but never confirmed it.
Often he reveals some statement relative to the cryptospace. This time he mentioned about having bitcoin, ethereum and dogecoin. He said he'll not sell his crypto holdings at any kind of market fall. In the same interview he said not to hold fiat currencies as inflation keeps growing. Even after his positive tweets and response on the interview he wasn't able to drive the market forward. Cheesy
2398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ukrainian token (virtual hrivna) on: March 20, 2022, 11:27:25 PM
Actually your idea is not bad however, unfortunately we already have cryptocurrencies that are good option, safe and have the advantage of holding them. That's is bitcoin, which you and your citizens can use anytime especially your family on there besides bitcoin has been accepted in many countries including your country @OP. By The way I'm sorry a little unsure of your statement that you want to create a token and ask for help tip to start it, I'm a little worried.
Well said, and if the same initiative is taken by the government it looks to be fair and trusted than what is being done by a group of Ukranian living in Europe. OP have got interest as well as well connected with the mayor, so he can try to brief and make the government do this. As Ukraine is already Crypto friendly with its recent legalizing of bitcoin OP might get positive response from the government.
2399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If there is a cryptocurrency that gives more to good people would you invest in on: March 20, 2022, 06:01:23 PM
I'm not sure in what perspective the question is being raised, and in my view it is discussed about the people with humanity to get good rewards from the respective project. I don't know how far this is true. Whether it is a good one or bad one, the market is for all and if there exists such a cryptocurrency then I won't get into it.
2400  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: March 20, 2022, 05:29:51 PM

In this event first time we have three teams from subcontinent and other thing is some good performances from Indian, Bangladeshi and Pakistani women's can encourage thousands of others at their respective countries specially Bangladeshi women's are in good touch after beating Pakistan and having very close lost against West Indians even once I was sure these ladies can win but sadly their poor skills and inexperience give them this shocking lost otherwise this was going to be historic movement for them as first time entry and won two matches which is really amazing performance.

Right now Indian women's are fighting for place in semifinal even now it's looking difficult but still have good chance. Pakistani Sidra first player completing a hundred in this competition, another milestone look like all well for these all women.

If India can make a good performance in this tournament I think they will be able to get some help from the BCCI which they should have got a long time ago.
So, they will be determined to show a good performance in this tournament.

But, the only reliable team in this tournament is Australia at the moment because other than them I cannot predict confidently about any other team. The West Indies are looking quite good though. But, I think they are riding their luck and it's probably a matter of time before their luck runs out.
India missed the previous match. Somehow India should've won the match. Mistakes on fielding is a major reason for the loss. In the previous two matches Indian women's bowling is quite good and this time it didn't worked. If India can win the next two matches, then it might get a chance for entering the top four. Now it is West Indies, India and England on the race to reach the top four. Bangladesh is still on the race and West Indies seems to have the highest chance.
