1461  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 27, 2022, 10:18:46 PM
Viewership numbers are low for women's cricket but the numbers posted by Hamza2424 look like a doomsday scenario in women's cricket.

But IMHO overall situation is not that bad, at least in SENA. Also, things are surely improving drastically in India as well and surprisingly BCCI taking the right steps in favor of Women's cricket, WIPL is about to become reality because of this.

The viewership number is not going to increase if women are not interested in cricket. And honestly, men are not going to be interested in women’s cricket. Women have to come forward and show appreciation to the fellow women cricketers.

I think cricket is not in a good spot at this moment, and among all the things going on, they are still trying to improve the situation of women’s cricket. If the women’s IPL flops, it is going to be really bad for the future of women’s cricket.
Agreed, Women need to come forward. Only then the future of women's cricket will be good. Viewership increase is just a number count, but the real audience is a must for the growth. More measures have been taken, but things didn't go on the right way. This is the same with every game of women. I see tennis alone an exception where it is possible to see good audience for women same as men.
1462  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Qatar bribed 8 players from Ecuador for the opening match on: November 26, 2022, 11:56:13 PM
Qatar hosting the FIFA at its best than the previous seasons. This is a big thing that the westerners can't accept. Maybe for the reason more stories are getting tied up with Qatar. For some reason all the claims against Qatar have been broken, but the death of workers during the development of the sports Village hasn't been cleared and it stands as a black mark over the host forever.
1463  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: November 26, 2022, 11:53:13 PM
Sri Lanka is having the worst time as recently below after below bringing down their moral and game badly which is never been ideal situation for them because recently too many controversies hit them and now on ground they lost first ODI against Afghanistan badly which is another below for them firs Afghanistan done good job in batting, and they were able to score very good target of 294 with the help of Zardan century even in last five overs Sri Lankan bowlers fight back and restricted them at this score because once mostly were feeling in this match Afghanistan is going to touch figure of 325 to 330.

After this amazing performance Afghani bowlers done another good spell of match winning performance which help them to restricted Sri Lankan top order very quickly but at the end Hasaranga were able to have done good performance which help them to lose this match by just 60 runs with this defeat now their chances are down for the automatic qualification into world cup.

Afghanistan is no more an associate teams rather they are as good as any other test team. Afghanistan scored 294 in first ODI and on Srilankan pitches its difficult to chase such a big target. Let's wait and see how SL play in second ODI. SL recently won Asia cup so I don't think they are totally down and out.
The first ODI loss will surely keep Sri Lanka under pressure to win the second ODI. Afghanistan on the other side can play a free game. So, this match will be more interesting. In the match toss could play a big role.

Within few hours India vs New Zealand match begins. Based on the bowling India have got, it looks like an easy winning day for New Zealand and win the series.
1464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No Alternative to Bitcoin, Your Alternative is Bitcoin. on: November 26, 2022, 11:49:15 PM
Actually bitcoin is being driven by news and at this point those who keep spreading false news might likely give a presentation to represent the max adoption which in returns creates tension and makes it arguably by people around to easily adopt it as a means of investment due to the it's rise and falls news that is being misrepresented via influencers or content & blogs creators including news lines (TV news channels). If all this could be put outside I believe the world at large would maximally adopt it as a means of investment also as an exchange of good and services.
In the past we don't have much of sources to receive information associated with cryptocurrency. Now things have changed. During those days spreading fud is an easy task, now people are well aware. Maybe the newbies gets trapped, if they've entered the market of being rich overnight through bitcoin investment.

The increasing real-time usage shows the real progressive move of bitcoin. And for any reason it strong, if the users doesn't get panic for negative news about it.
1465  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN VS LANDED PROPERTY on: November 26, 2022, 11:45:32 PM
Landed property value reaches certain value and beyond that it won't go high, whatever the development happening around.

With bitcoin more the demand and the limited supply keeps the market progressing in all means. Even at critical market condition the price could reach its ath as the market is dependent over the technology and not the surrounding growth.
1466  Economy / Economics / Re: Can A Redesign of A Countries Currency Note Improve Its Economy? on: November 25, 2022, 11:56:46 PM
Planned execution could help with the improvement of the economy, but the same isn't assured. It's been six years and economist used to say that the effect of overnight demonetisation haven't left our economy. It made the complete country struggle and it wasn't a well planned one. Stating different reasons the demonetisation took place and yet none of the objectives mentioned have got fulfilled.
1467  Economy / Economics / Re: Has the popularity of bitcoins reduced interest of people in stocks? on: November 25, 2022, 11:41:44 PM
The interest into stocks haven't declined among the stock holders for any reason. The younger generation have added cryptocurrency to the list as an alternate to the traditional stock investment. The ease of having control over the funds as well as the ease of trading makes more people consider cryptocurrency amidst the risk into it.

Nowadays corporate networks have begun to distribute good sum of stocks to its employees, so to keep them focused on stock market. I don't know whether this is being done for that particular reason, but it is happening around.
1468  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cock fight game on: November 25, 2022, 11:37:11 PM
I've seen it and one of my brother have got good number of cocks being grown for gambling. This can be seen much on Phillipines. In my locality the same is being played on different ways. Some are played directly without involvement of any objects. In few matches, knives were tied to the legs and those really harms each other. Such kind of game is not allowed within the country, but that too takes place.
1469  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 25, 2022, 11:31:57 PM
Wel... My personal thinking about this ones is that sometimes the criticism leads you to the perfection but I think it should be done in a limit as if one player is being a legend for 2 years and, He is doing really great but suddenly in some series he didn't perform well it never means that you can criticise him out of the way yes as time never flows in same way so our audience need to adopt some mature type of the criticism.
Criticism is a must, it helps them understand the feelings of the common people. They're not representing themselves, they're representing the entire nation. Players gets used to criticism, but at times it make them go down. Such scenario should not happen, because they should understand that the same people is the one to praise when they perform good.
1470  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: November 25, 2022, 11:26:29 PM
India again lost his first ODI against New Zealand, no doubt India play really amazing and give a big target for new Zealand to chase, but the way new Zealand play it's phenomenal, after first wicket of f.allen in early overs I taught that India will take a strong grip on new Zealand but the partnership of Williamson and Latham takeaway the match from India hands, Latham play an unbelievable inning by scoring 145 and Williamson score 94 and that's the main point of India loss
This was an unexpected win for New Zealand and i was not expecting that they could chase 306 runs too easily. Do we have to say that New Zealand's batting was outclassed in this match or do Indian again have difficulties with their bowling and are unable to defend a big total  Huh
Umran Malik took 2 wickets but there was no Indian bowler whom we can say tried to contain the New Zealand batsmen. Also not to forget that Tom Latham scored 145 runs in only 104 balls and this is a very good strike rate in a one-day international match. He must be disappointed not to make 150 runs and make history.
Same for me really, Indian bowling was really below par, it felt as if the bowlers of Indian team have become too much familiar to bowling in T20. They were not really focusing on building the pressure and then taking up wickets they were focusing more on individual deliveries which new zealand played very intelligently so technically the strategy played by them was altogether wrong. I think  they will get better after a couple of games.

Indian bowling has lost manpower. We don't see any good performances from Indian bowlers in T20 World Cup. However, they were quite effective against New Zealand in the last T20 matches. But in today's match again we saw their bad bowling. Indian management should now focus more on their bowlers. Otherwise, their performance will be worse in the next matches.
There needs to be improvement and consistency with the Indian bowlers. New Zealand lost consecutive wickets, after which they made strong comeback. With a score of 306 and unable to win the match shows the poor bowling. Its time for Indian team to make clear analysis and choose the best as more series are to follow.
1471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 23, 2022, 11:59:32 PM
This year is crazy in the recent T20I cup we saw Irland wining XIM wining Netherlands wining and now in the FiFa its Sudi times haha. In next year ODI and T 20 are bringing more excitement and flavors. I think this is good that how an under dog team comes forward and beat a champion contender.
This year is for the underdogs, because users who have tried to go with underdog have won big. We experienced more such matches in the T20 World Cup.

With FIFA things are much big than what we saw with T-20 World Cup. Initially Argentina got disappointment, which is one among the top contender to win the World Cup. In yesterday's match, four time World Champion losing to Japan is another big incident. I believe there is more to come as few days have got over.
1472  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Will there ever be any safe centralised exchange ? on: November 22, 2022, 10:08:32 PM
At some time interval we used to get notified with some hacks with Exchanges and losing millions of dollars in tokens as well as with the top listed cryptocurrencies. This is not about the trusted or the small exchanges. This shows in all means there is possible chances of exchanges getting hacked. Whether it is reputed or new to the market, hacking is possible.

In some events the exchange give compensation to keep its reputation. So, it is always good to have funds secured on non custodial wallets than on the centralized exchanges.
1473  Other / Off-topic / Re: Lay off vs Pay cut on: November 21, 2022, 11:49:34 PM
Take the pay cut and start looking for alternatives, your boss might be right and the labor market is dead so wait it out on pay is best.     I think the cut is most sensible but during inflation everyone is taking a cut whether they like it or not.  Its why large government with deficit spending and unserviceable debt loads are so dangerous to the entire country, it will undermine the economy and make the currency unstable.
Taking the pay cut is good considering the market. The corporate networks too shouldn't have made firing of staff. Saw a post in which an Indian have turned to be citizen of America, but he's been fired and now he doesn't know what to do as the job market doesn't have good set of jobs. He had two kids and all of the sudden a big income getting stopped could mostly affect the immigrant workers.
1474  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Throwback: Bitcoin was $64k today, a year ago. on: November 21, 2022, 11:45:08 PM
It is a day to remember every year, because for users who have the confused mind whether bitcoin will reach new ath or not can get answer. Almost an year and a month passed, the present price of bitcoin is one fifth of the ath. No matter what the market movement is, 1BTC=1BTC. So, all that required is the patience and the understanding about the market to experience the same.
1475  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 21, 2022, 11:29:20 PM
What an unexpected turnout by India against a strong Kiwi side. They outplayed them in literally every department and this is a great start for Pandya as a T-20 international captain. Split-captaincy turned out to be a great idea so far.

Am expecting the Kiwis to bounce back in the 3rd match though despite the absence of Williamson and the series will most likely end in a draw.
Rightly said India started this series brilliantly. They have great players in their team who are performing well. However, in the next match, New Zealand will look to bounce back to form and beat India. But I think India will win this series.
India haven't made brilliant start, the presence of  Suryakumar Yadav have helped to reach good target. If they weren't able to make the big target surely this could've been a win for New Zealand. In the match, the Indian bowlers had good target and the same made them play without pressure. This helped them win the match easily by a big margin.
like Pakistan team Indian team is so unpredictable especially some players like Kholi and in Pakistani team Muhmmad Rizwan sometime they perform so well the next time they come back to dressing room in no time
Pakistan have better bowling squad which is an added advantage. India lacks bowling and most of the time it looks like an one man army. In this match if Suryakumar Yadav have failed to score, what would've been the situation of India. In one way Pakistan and India can be compared, dependence over particular players. Failing in performance from those players will make the team loss badly.
1476  Economy / Speculation / Re: Elon Musk says the price of BTC will rise on: November 21, 2022, 11:24:25 PM
I think honestly until now there's no valid tweet coming from elon in regards of speculation about the subject of cryptocurrencies, he's right now really busy with his newly owned twitter honestly.
moreover even though that might sounds good but it's coming from elon, even if he has the influence, it's already somewhat becoming less effective overtime since he already wasted his influence in meme coins and I don't think market will just change direction just because he says so, at least he needs to invest himself.

If I'm not wrong this is the tweet that is being mentioned by the OP. This could have given hope to many of the cryptocurrency enthusiasts who are in a dilemma when to invest to book the profit. Now with confidence they'll invest believing Elon Musk will do something to pump the market. Cheesy
1477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Downfall still possible? on: November 21, 2022, 11:14:22 PM
Everything is possible in crypto. We have seen many coin up many x in bullish trend and now it's entered in bear trend. Many bad News like Ftx fail forced big investors to sell which will make more dump. Fear is now high and we may see another dump
And BTC price hits ATL in the last years, the current market price is around $15500. Maybe we will see another attack by the bear market side and market makers will go for a liquidity hunt below the $13k level, I think it is time to withdraw coins from exchanges and move everything to hardware crypto wallets for HODL. Altcoins will suffer the most from a downtrend since BTC price has started to crash. ETH will likely test support level below $800, LTC may go for $40 price point.
Agreed, this has been a predicted downturn in the market. The price that have been moving around $16500 - $17000 for a long term have fallen downwards. This is predicted to happen later in this week, but the earlier dump could cause downfall to $13k. It is good time to buy and the people looking for DCA could do it and once again continue when it falls down to $13k or more.
1478  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How important is fiat to Bitcoin? on: November 21, 2022, 10:29:11 PM
can Bitcoin be easily used and spent without Fiat?
But of course, yes. Goods and services can be paid for in Bitcoin in most Bitcoin friendly countries. It can be done as direct payment without having to convert to fiat first. However, the importance and relevance of fiat as a unit measure of value for goods and services can't be ruled out no matter how anyone wants to. I've consistently maintained that the use of Bitcoin can't totally annihilate fiat, and vice versa. Both are likely going to exist side-by-side.
The usage between the fiat and the cryptocurrency will continue without any difference based on the user convenience. For now fiat have secured a position with its years and years of history. The same to happen had taken large number of years. Direct usage increasing, and the same will keep it an alternate to the fiat currencies used around.
1479  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Bitcoin changed my life on: November 21, 2022, 10:08:03 PM
The friend who introduced bitcoin to him have did it well suggesting to hold atleast for few years time. If not surely OP could've got greedy, because he doesn't know anything about the market and he have entered the market with all his earned money just because to make himself rich. This is completely different and every user who have come to know about bitcoin should never find it a way to turn rich or a quick rich scheme.
1480  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: We Feel All The Emotions When We Gamble on: November 20, 2022, 11:54:22 PM
That is why some people prefer gambling this is their so-called therapy outside their office, I read people feel good after they do mahjong or card games or play in online casinos and just the rush after watching horse racing, there's something in gambling that if done in moderation you will feel good about it, it will fall into an entertainment category if you do it moderation, moderation is the key.
People who consider it to be therapy is very minimal. People who get into addiction is the majority. Having control over the emotions in all means is a must. Even the person who consider it as refreshing could get into addiction out of the unexpected wins experienced.
