Sad to say, no. I will never give bitcoin as a gift. Wedding is one of the most unforgettable moment you will ever had in your life. So I guess, a gift should be something special. It should be unforgettable too. It should have a sentimental value. A gift that if you hold it or only see it, you will remember that big event of your life. If you give bitcoin as a gift, it is just like giving money or cheque and I think it's not that cool.
It is just being realistic and true to yourself. I also would not gift bitcoin as bitcoin is so precious to me. Maybe just give them gift that is remarkable that would become memorable to the couple. not only you got regret, the first time I heard bitcoin was around 2014 and I was unbelieved bitcoin but we can't change the past, better we start again to make a profit in bitcoin.
The only thing that I regretted was withdrawing some of my bitcoins last month when the prices were around $2500 and after 2 weeks, it skyrocketed up to $3000-$3500. I doubted the price of bitcoin before the fork on August 1 and due to that, I withdrew some. Now, the prices of bitcoin are around $4400 and are continuously increasing per day. So the lesson that I learned from that mistake is to never doubt and panic-sell bitcoin since it is better to risk waiting than to safely withdrawing it in the same day. Exactly the thought I have right now. I was like you who due to panic of the fork that will happen on August 1 I convert all my bitcoin into fiat. As the saying goes it is better to be safe than sorry. But it is the other way around. I feel sorry right now and regreted the fact that its price goes higher and higher while I have no bitcoin anymore. Anyways, I learned the lesson and as of now making most of my time to earn bitcoins. |

I think it depends on the people on how he will handle his life so that he'll became a rich person. BTC is nothing to do in being rich because the hardwork and ofcourse the strategy of the person is the who will make him a rich person and nothing to do with the bitcoin. Drinking too much alcohol it can damage your brain, lungs, kidney, liver ect. Sometimes people think that alcohol helps them copes with difficult situation and emotions but the facts is drinking alcohol is it will range a mental health problems including depression, anxiety and risk taking behaviour. For me it is better to save money for an emergency matter but in contrary it is better to invest it for your future so it will grow when time fly by If i really had some money and i wanted to keep them for an emergency, i would of course consider bitcoin for that matter too. I would keep my funds in bitcoin so that i had savings as well as some profit with the time as the price keeps moving in long term and we have seen this since bitcoin is in the market. Everyone always wanted to save money as it is sure as to secure the money for the future. And yes bitcoin is good to save because it will increase its price even if you just keep it in your wallet. But if given a chance I would consider investing after saving emergency funds. As we all know investing is quite risky yet it will give you profit. |
