I'm a week into this whole bitcoin thing so be easy on me. I wonder why you would ever sell a BTC ... For example: you buy 100 dollars worth of BTC but the price drops drastically. Why would you sell it when its that low? You KNOW it's going to go up again. You could wait a month (for example), the price will be up again. Or am i totally wrong here?
Those moves are from new into bitcoins. They do not trust bitcoin that much because when the price goes down, they easily give up. They do not know the capacity of bitcoin. They panicked because of fear to lose some. When you invest, not just in bitcoin but in other investment, there is always a risk. So invest what you can affor to lose. |

I think you are asking about the price drop next time.I suggest you just wait for hard fork to end.Then bitcoin will come down to 5000$ then you can invest.
Buy low and sell high. It is always been the best to buy low but definitely considering that we cannot predict when will its price will go down, buy atleast when you have an extra money. When the price goes down just this past month, I was able to buy some bitcoin. It was really nerve racking that after just two months it goes up to $1000. |

Panic selling is most common occurs when a investor has on emergency or in a hard situations. But regarding to this topic there is another meaning of panic selling, it tells on the other side that it is the felling when everyone want to sell all their bitcoins because of the high exchange price, but this attitude will be bad for me, because as I see bitcoin price is not permanent it's price goes up and down so we will never predict how high it can be the value of bitcoin.
I did panic selling before because I was afraid to lose. That time was because bitcoin price continuously goes down. I was new to bitcoin then so I sold everything. I regret it so much because just after a night bitcoin is back and much higher. |

the role of the bank is very important especially support the economy, we can not eliminate the bank because the level of dependence with the bank is very high and of course the bank is fully protected by the state.
Definitely banks wcannot be eliminated because it has been there eversince. It helps our economy in different ways. Many people who are financially educated uses bank and keep their money in banks. Not all people uses bitcoin and in case time will come that bitcoin will be used by all people, I think the government will do something with banks. |

I think it will not happen. between dollars or bitcoin, has its own function. the dollar will still exist as a means of payment in cash, while bitcoin, its value will continue to rise as online payments because bitcoin is the digital currency.

For me bitcoin can’t make banks disappear. Most people are using banks to secure their money, investment and many more. Banks is much popular than bitcoin and much bigger industry than bitcoin. Banks can easily embrace the bitcoin industry maybe know they are creating a bitcoin banks that are connected to you bank accounts.  It could be possible that there would be a bank for bitcoin but do we really needs it? Does they need to create bitcoin banks considering that we can already store our bitcoins and other cryptos in our wallet and also doing the same thing which banks can do. Letting and keeping our bitcoins in our wallet will make its price goes up and goes down. But bitcoin cannot makes bank disappear because those who are not into technology thing will prefer and it is enough for them to have bitcoins. |

Please help me understand in plain English how will we benefit from so many currencies?
I see so many startups with decentralized blockchain ideas with their own crypto currency.
Today I purchased oatmeal directly from a mill at their website.
This mill sells its products thru grocers and other online stores as well.
They probably gave 3% to the credit card company, which they could reduce by using blockchain.
But if every store and every business starts creating their own currency, then I will have to go thru an exchange to convert BTC or ETH to that coin to make some purchase.
Then we would need miners to process all those transactions in various coins.
Why can't they just use ETH? Just like all IPOs use dollars.

Are you talking about Crypto Currency ? Well Anyone can make there own currency.Recently Russian make their own currency. There's many new currencies a up here. But most of them are scam. That's why investing call risky task. Every other person who has some money can hire developer to make a coin but very few invest in making coin to the exchanges. Yes you are right. Just a programmer is needed to make new crypto currencies. But the judge of this is still the people to whom this currency is offered. But the clear thing is that bitcoin is the surest, tested and proven cryto currency in the market. It has never turned down people and should not be underestimated. That is why there are many emerging currency because of the success of bitcoin. |

I do not understand why you have to separate the firstname to the surname. Anyways, for sure Mr. Satoshi is still alive and he is having the best of his life. For sure he is having a good time with his bitcoins and earnings. I think that is a good idea but bitcoin is already spreading around the globe.Advertising causes hassle to the people that would do the advertising.I think its enough for me that bitcoin is already in the media mainstream like fb and Twitter.

Me personally, I am not buying BTC for the moment (switched to ETH). I do believe that Bitcoin is overheating for the time being, so I am waiting for the next correction to add to my position.
I am also not buying btc not because of whatever reason, it is just that I do not have extra money for that.  In any case, I will still buy bitcoin because I believe that bitcoin is a good investment. It is better to invest some of our money to bitcoin than to save it to the bank. Banks just give a very small interest per annum compared to bitcoin which doubles or even triples it. |

In future will the banks be able to exchange bitcoins?
Now we are exchanging from traders...but when (if) the popularity of bitcoin increase a lot then the traders will not be able to exchange such amount of bitcoins...so what about the future of bitcoin?
Here in my country, when you buy bitcoin you can buy it though banks. Also when you withdraw your bitcoin, you can go to the bank and pick it up, it is because the wallet that we are using automatically converted bitcoin to cash and cash to bitcoin. Anyway just to answer your query, it could be possible that banks will be able to exchange bitcoins. But I do not think that traders will ceased from exchanging and trading bitcoins since it is all about the money. |

Yes this is true and bitcoin rate is effecting peoples too much and due to this high interest of peoples and spreading of this digital currency shoppingsites like flipkart,amazon, alibaba etch will start accepting very soon because they are watching every body wants to move on bitcoin and they will move on in future.

Personally, if I'm in a coffee shop or any store with some people, I pull out my wallet and subtly show them my Xapo debit card. Then they get curious on what kind of card is that since it doesnt look like the usual Mastercard or creditcard. Then I explain it from there on. What's your way of spreading Bitcoin knowledge? I usually spread my bitcoin knowledge through social media. I post many informations about bitcoin and different campaign if necessary which makes my friend curious about it. Sometimes I post pictures of the outcome I had because of bitcoin wherein I credit all of it with bitcoin. By this way I can make myself knowledgeable and curious at the same time. Using social media as way to spread your bitcoin knowledge is the best strategy so far. I guess it is a good thing knowing that many are always hooked on their phones. We all know that the price of bitcoin is volatile so that it will drops or rise its price. You can't simply say that bitcoin is a gambling but it is good investment for long term and its because of the price. Lastly, I agree that bitcoin is a kind of currency and investment it is not a gambling. My dear friend told me after I joined him to invest in one mining site is that I taught him to gamble. I said that investing is different from gambling. He said that it is almost the same considering that there is no guarantee that the bitcoin he invest will come back. I still said its different though it is the same on having both a risk. |

I think Bitcoin is always the best cryptocurrency so if you want to invest I think you should choose Bitcoin. I totally agree with you on this. I have no knowledge about etherium but I also want to try. But if we have to compare between bitcoin and ethereum I would choose bitcoin. It is the first digital currency ever and it has been tested and proven overtime. Bitcoin is difficult to explain. I also felt difficulties in understanding bitcoin for the firs time. Let's share how to explain bitcoin to children of teenagers. In My country I can say 98% children don't know bitcoin. In fact, bitcoin can be future money. If the children not familiar with cryptocurrency or bitcoin, how can they face the digital era in the future.
In our country you don't need to explain what is bitcoin or how to earn on bitcoin to teenagers they are very aware on it because of social media. Teenager/students nowadays are involve in bitcoin because they can get allowance in using bitcoin. They can earn while at school during their break time and afterclass. And I can say that most of the persons I knew who are into bitcoins are students. It is nice to hear and know that even they are already earning with bitcoins they still go on with their studies. So it is basically no need for bitcoin to be taught to teenagers since they can easily understand it. As to children it woupd be hard because their attention is not into these things. |

Yes, just look what happened to the Las Vegas shooting incident wherein almost 60 people were killed. It is not really good to issue guns to people just like that. I know there were permits but those who will issue a gun should took people to extreme test. Because it is very easy for people to kill because those who have guns are like kings. Besides it helps us to make our path straight. Although they say that religion is the mere reason behind war because of the different beliefs and ideals, I think it is up to people on what they want to see and think. It is just a matter of accepting and respecting ones opinion. I can say that religion helps me to be who I am.
