Wow. Even the word "ponzi" is in the name and still people are doing this?

Wow.

Well then, record your screen and post it on youtube.

Oh, but that sounds like work! Undecided you better just trust me on this one

Trust? I don't trust ANYTHING related to bitcoin without proof.

Hahaha, anybody know the game Bitcoin Billionaire?
It's for iOS (and Android maybe? Never looked), a game a là Cookie Clicker, but with bitcoins.
I bring this up because of the girl scout cookies, you can buy those as a powerup in game (it taps for you).

Just thought that was funny.

Small world, huh?

Cool! Never saw that interview. What do you mean by "small world", though? Is there something I missed?

I'm a small senior in highschool and we got iPads this year... Its really fun to see how different apps spread like wildfire between people. This game was popular at one point...

Goes to show that word of mouth is everything in the hectic world that's called the App Store.
243  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Can You Kidnap Your Own Kid? on: February 09, 2015, 02:29:38 AM
Well, I've read about it a lot, and I think it's very possible to kidnap your own kid.
For instance, what if the mother and father get into a fight and the dad takes the kid "hostage" as to make the mother "change her mind".
Or the mother kidnaps the kid, whatever feels better to you.
I'd call that kidnapping, what else would you call it? A field trip?  Tongue

My bad... figured it out.

This worked 5JmdXtN7fDwaD8ZH2a1ksEeotDaw6WKahgCCArLZmCV8RLBAiDW
Which, strangely looks exactly the same.

It turns out, somehow an invisible (unicode?) character had been introduced after the "Daw6", when I pasted it somewhere that inserted the line break. I managed to find the non-alphanumeric using rege[Suspicious link removed]

Once I removed that character... imported the $1 into coinbase.

Ahhhh..... I've seen that issue loads of times. Mostly when copy/pasting passwords, though.
Why would there even be unicode characters for '' (nothing)?

Whoa, this looks very good.  Shocked

I am too much of a chicken to do market trading, though, but I love me a good webapp.

Do you run a node.js webserver? (I saw socket.io mentions in your source  Grin)

I've invested and been paid don't know what you're bitching about lol

People behind ponzi schemes aren't stupid. They start a scheme like this, and will actually pay the first 10, 100 or maybe 1000 people.
Just enough to get the ball rolling and then just stop paying out.
Before people catch on, loads of bitcoins will be sent to them.
It's that simple.

I notice the game multipliers have been lowered a bit. (...) So what is the new house edge now?

Last week we improved our solver. As a result, we now use more realistic multipliers.
In fact, our edge was even a bit negative during the previous month! The house edge
we are aiming for is still 2%.

Best regards,

Negative edge, that's the first time I've seen that, let alone that you openly admit to it!

I really like this concept, refreshing to see that skill is factored in.
252  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: The cost of electricity in the world on: February 09, 2015, 01:54:42 AM
Ahh, I remember the good ol' days where I would mine at school or when my parents weren't home...

"Free" power is the answer, shame that it's never really free.

I'm from the Netherlands, but I don't really know the price of power here. Who does/where can I find that?

Thanks for the comments guys! Like BitcoinFr34k said, it's definately a great add-on to your site. From my experience there are a lot of Dutch users in the bitcoin scene and quite a few of them have a nice amount of coins in their wallet Grin. Sounds like a good userbase to attrack to your website.

Definitely* and attract*.

I mean, you'll translate the other way around, but it wouldn't hurt if you'd spell your posts correctly Wink

Haha sorry. I posted that comment on my phone (using the swype feature) so something went wrong there.

No problem, fellow Dutchie Smiley
