241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling bad to the society? on: May 24, 2024, 09:27:33 AM

So what I'm trying to conclude is that gambling isn't something you should take as a hobby or as a means of earning just to make a living. So what are your thoughts?
When you call Hobby meaning this is not a mean of living or making money  means that is a separate situation , when you call hobby that means to
enjoy and kill time but when you can earning then that is completely to make money and not to make fun.

but calling it as bad for society? that is not true because gambling is becoming bad when people treat this differently and with addiction and
not so good gambling behavior.

just gamble with care, and limit your capital to lose , not just to earn and make money but also to enjoy  .
242  Economy / Gambling / Re: More revelations on the challenges of physical casinos on: May 24, 2024, 08:58:21 AM
With the way of how developments and innovations in the gambling sections are fast approaching, gamblers are no longer much interested on using a physical gambling casino again as they have been used to that in the past, people try to blend along to every new achievement on the modern technology in other to influence that into their way of gambling and enjoy as well the best satisfaction from the section.
Seems legit because there are better way to gamble now than just going in casino houses that you need to spend time and effort just to gamble while in Online you can just sit and relax in your Sofa and play all the way, sometimes even while in malls and in traffic stop you can manage to gamble this is how rampant Online gambling nowadays.

243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Take Profit in this Bullrun on: May 24, 2024, 03:15:29 AM
In bull run the value of currencies increases a lot depending on the individual's own strategy for investment. But holding good altcoins along with bitcoin for taking profit will get good profit with high returns. Bitcoin is a very trustworthy currency but there is a little risk for altcoins so you have to choose the top altcoins after market research. These are very good moves for investors and capitalize on long term bull runs.
The ideal situation is for us to hold bitcoin the long term however some investors might feel unproductive and impatient with no profits for so long so they tend to invest in altcoins for quick usually constant profit. I think that would be the best case scenario here if we want to earn some extra cash to the side while still maintaining our holdings with ease. I think this way the temptation to take your bitcoin out would be decreased.
244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin supply shock will come, price will make new ATH on: May 24, 2024, 03:11:05 AM
Perhaps during the dip many were looking for sellers to sell but everybody held to their coins and it green to choose to sell to the hungry buyers.
During price decline, it just means that there’s not much demand to buy bitcoin and those who are holding it are basically not in any pressure to sell.

Now however during times of price increase, those who have held since a long time ago might now see an opportunity to finally claim their profit. As the price rises, more and more people are going to want to buy which will further increase the value of bitcoin.
245  Economy / Economics / Re: Harmful effect of robot to the world. on: May 23, 2024, 11:56:05 PM
that's why its better to think first on what will happen to those millions of people that will lose job, what will be the alternative, because if they are not notifed then expect that they might revolt and protest, and there will be chaos, instead that AI, robot help people, it will be the cause why people will hate the innovation and modern world, because if modern world will only make people lose job then why would they support it right?.
If people retaliate against the mass acceptance of robots and AI, they might be held off by the government and business owners. Of course for the rich, it’s beneficial for them but for the poor it’s a nightmare. It would be total chaos as I am sure these rich people will not second guess to step on poorer people just to achieve what they want. It’s definitely a scene I do not want playing out.
246  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The difference between gamblers and real Bitcoin investors? on: May 23, 2024, 11:38:14 PM
Looking at the title, I thought it was about people making investments without proper knowledge, making money, and soon losing it. This is a real gamble, and even now more people are doing it because they believe that the cryptocurrencies on the leading order will have at least a small variation in price regularly.
This is where the whole “cryptocurrencies are scams” ordeal came from.

People invest their money into crypto thinking it would give them easy profit. They think they don’t have to exert effort into it. Holding is just basically waiting but it is still accompanied by great knowledge and cautious planning.

The sooner people realize that investing in crypto isn’t all rainbows then they can properly learn about the risks and possible consequences and try their best to avoid making those mistakes

247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you were Satoshi Nakamoto, what would you do? on: May 23, 2024, 11:21:38 PM
Satoshi Nakamoto created bitcoin to be anonymity therefore he has to be anonymity as well because if he shows himself then the US government will arrest him and ask him to destroy bitcoin. And they will be different accusations on him and the one they will use to against him is the money laundering.
Good luck to them then if they could actually prove this. But you are right and I think many bitcoin enthusiasts have not stopped to think about that for a moment, they probably think satoshi is untouchable or immortal.

But in reality he can be in great danger not only from the government but also from people who have ill intentions in general.
248  Economy / Economics / Re: Work From Home or The "Laptop Class" is Immoral or Not? on: May 23, 2024, 10:46:15 PM
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p1h0ejcJrXc

I just watched a video talking about Laptop Class where Elon sees working from home as moral issue. Curious to know what your take on this kind of view because there are actually people who also agree with him.  And some don't of course. It could be different in the Bitcoin community, just a Yes or No poll to answer, and sure thing it will be good to share your opinion on why you chose Yes or say No.
I do not know about this being a moral issue but it definitely is an implication of something bigger. I am surprised that Elon saw through this and has addressed it. Politicians definitely need to study more about this and evaluate the impact on the economic situation of the country.

For those who have no access to laptops and internet and even privacy on their own homes, work from home might not be the best option for them. Working from home is definitely a privilege that a lot of people do not see as one but it is.
249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think casinos can stop demanding KYC? on: May 23, 2024, 12:51:55 PM
there is a gap left by casinos in the past that did not require KYC. and it is exploited by people today to carry out criminal acts such as money laundering.
Of course, it is also uncomfortable for the casino when their platform is used to commit crimes and if it is publicized by the government that handles certain cases, it could be bad for the casino's name.
Casinos play it safe, they dont want trouble from the governments and they dont want criminals to use their site as an intermediary.
yeah , there are tons of issues back in the days that gambling sites being used as medium for money laundering

Quote
So they allow people to run without KYC on signup because they want more people to get into the habit of gambling but when a certain trigger is met, the account gets flagged for KYC/AML procedures.
and that is the part that i believe they are trapping players because in withdrawal the will force you to provide KYC lol.

Quote
They are only saving their business and to keep it running they do these things. It is here to stay and it is better players get used to it.
they are saving business but also taking advantage of the people in time of they need to take out their money .
250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If I bet big I lose, but if I bet small I win on: May 23, 2024, 12:33:13 PM
Guys, do you often feel like me? when I raise the bet I lose and when I lower the bet I win. Does the casino system/algorithm know the betting patterns we make? So often when we bet big we are given a loss and when our bet is small we actually win, which is very annoying

I don't know if this applies to all games or not, but I feel like this often when playing table games. What do you think?
That is the system of gambling online mate, we are given chance winning smaller but not in bigger wins, this is also the reason why I bet small but with those have high multiplier .
like in  Roulette i mostly focus betting in 0(Zero) in which the highest multiplier but with small bets.
251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wich altcoin has that similar to btc ? on: May 22, 2024, 10:33:42 PM
Im looking for altcoin wich POS proof of stake.
But it's similar to btc limited supply and maybe with halving kind of thing.
I like btc only thing what i don't like it's POW thing so Im looking for similar supply game but just POS.
I don't think so any altcoin can get even half of success that BTC has got. It's what is called as first mover advantage, You cannot beat someone who started it years ago and now as a newbie you come and say I'll get over it.

Yes you can get more profit in less scale but you can't have the scale what BTC has got in the previous few years. If we talk about the popularity and profit ETH is the closest.
Many have attempted to find a coin like bitcoin but to no avail.

Bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrency for a reason and no other coin can replicate what it is. Even ethereum isn’t as close despite being the 2nd top coin in cryptocurrency. There’s really no point in finding other coins like bitcoin. Just invest in bitcoin as it is.
252  Economy / Economics / Re: knowledge about risks and their types. on: May 22, 2024, 09:43:56 PM
I didn't know that there are classifications of it and described as how OP did it. To be honest, I don't think people that are taking risk didn't know that they are taking risks. They know for a fact that they do it and they don't mind taking it. In layman's term, it's a gamble of whatever you're taking. Whatever classification you have mentioned and if someone is taking a risk on it, the easiest logic to understand it without being confused is you are taking a gamble.
If you are taking risks without knowing about it nor having learned it then you are definitely gambling. Gambling is just taking chances based on luck and nothing else. No logic whatsoever.

There’s no computations either so everything really is pure luck but once you start studying about risks and winning for it then that is when you can say that that is no longer taking it by chance and you have yourself to congratulate.
253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Privacy on Dogecoin? on: May 22, 2024, 09:17:44 PM
Has anyone found a way to make DOGE transactions private? Not at the protocol level (although it would be cool), but rather a separate solution like a CoinJoin market. I understand Dogecoin is a "meme" coin and all (not meant to be taken seriously), but having a little privacy doesn't hurt. Especially with increasing government surveillance.
You already said it that it is a memecoin. Further methods to make dogecoin private might raise even more suspicions from the government. There are privacy coins out there that you could use but then again they are also being subjected to government’s prying eyes.
Quote
What do you think? Is it worth making DOGE transactions private? If not, why? Can you achieve optional privacy on Dogecoin? Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much. Smiley
Not really as it might just raise even more issues than when it didn’t have any extra features that implemented privacy
254  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Bullish period and advantage. on: May 22, 2024, 08:54:35 PM
Some investors are generally interested in buying more BTC at DIP prices and tend to sell during bullish times. But holding is more important because it will happen again and again when ATH is observed in the market with gap of few months.
In my opinion, if you have made significantly enough profit then you can already sell and take out your money. What would be the best is to take profit and then buy again during a correction or a dip. Time is always and should be considered when doing this strategy. You need to find the perfect times otherwise not only are you wasting your money but also your opportunities.
255  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why Vaping is So Popular? on: May 22, 2024, 12:57:51 PM
Both of this vape or cigarette are same dangerous to our body so i think both of their popularity are still available to the market .

but that is correct that even here in my place Vape shops are growing like Mushrooms in rainy days that i can find here and there , so i guess that this is the popularity in which listed here.

Just stumbled upon this thread and had to chime in. The topic of Bitcoin halving always gets me hyped! It's like watching the plot thicken in a suspenseful movie – you never know what twist awaits next.
ohhh, but this is about vape mate , best to post in bitcoin discussion insead.

257  Local / Pamilihan / Re: USDT from Binance to Peso? on: May 22, 2024, 11:46:25 AM
Is anyone know the best way to withdraw my $6000 USDT to Peso?
it's currently sitting on my Binance account.
Mukhang Pinoy ka naman kabayan according sapost history mo so tingin ko meron kang gcash account/ so better na transfer mo yang USDT mo sa Fundings then pasok ka sa p2p trading ng binance then sell into seller add mo lang sa payment ang gcash and then wait mo nalang na  i send ng buyer yong usdt mo and wag na wag mo i release ang usdt hanggat di mopa nakikita sa gcash mo ang pera.
258  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best Crypto Casinos! on: May 22, 2024, 10:30:16 AM
We can make use of any measure in determining for the best crypto casino for our own use, each gambling platforms has their own way of rendering their services to the best of interest on what we want and sometimes we may also find out that some of those features are not up to the required expectation of what we want from them, which may make some appear to is and not the best casinos while some not meeting up to the standard of what we want.
But what i was thinking?  these thread is posted here in bitcointalk forum directly in gambling section when you can find
so much offering and legit site that have been serving forum for many years now. the only thing that he needs to do is to
check each thread of gambling site here for them to  find a better site and to be safe when depositing and of course withdrawing.
259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lunatic gamblers who says Airdrop rewards are free funds. on: May 22, 2024, 10:09:44 AM
There is absolutely no Source of income that is free but some of my Bitcoin investors friends who are as much gamblers would not want to agree to that.
Currently, there had been several airdrops projects ongoing which participants are earning crypto coins without investing of money but executing some tasks.
why they will not agree when airdrop is indeed income generating as long as you know how to keep safe because there are cases that instead of earning you will be scammed or being fooled .

Quote
So some of my friends says such funds are free money so they are delighted dedicating it to be spent on gambling and when they lost it all, it would be easier to let go because they did not stress to get the money.
Meanwhile... This usually comes a huge amount of money beyond their normal gambling budgets.
well , since that is their earning then let them decide where to spend because that is what they wanted to risk and try doubling their money.

Quote
To me, they can utilize these so called free money by adding it up to their Bitcoin portfolio or even used it to spend on necessary things instead of dedicating to lavish it on gambling.
well that is if you are at their shoes but the sad part is that its not, those are their airdrop income.
260  Economy / Gambling / Re: More revelations on the challenges of physical casinos on: May 22, 2024, 09:44:48 AM
That can happen to anyone.

It's not actually a challenge but it is something that happens for you to anticipate if you have experienced that before. Betting shops/agents or local casinos, anything can happen based on their rules.

They can give oddly reasons for one to deny the winnings of a bettor or at least delay it for them to test that gambler and see how long his patience is.
We are just gamble and the authority will always have the last word/action and in which stands for the gambling site/operator or whom we are addressing .
we are thankful to never experience any troubles from our gambling activities
Fortunately, yes I haven't experienced and I am hoping that it won't happen to me ever. But I am just prepared for anything that can happen if things go south.

though I manage to taste delayed payment because of some errors but never that I was alarmed because that site is reputable and have proven their name in this field for long time now.
This is normal but if it happens almost at most times then that's not normal anymore. As long as you won't get denied with your own withdrawal and there's just the delay due to some reasons.

Like technical stuff, network matters, etc then that's still an acceptable reason for that problem.
its good to  hear mate that you still not tasting any issues in casino houses because nowadays there are lot of problem accompanying the
gambling world specially in online gambling that there are problem occurring almost in daily basis.
and also good to hear that you are ready in technical stuffs and ntwork matter that may come as a problem in the future.
