241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum - New Algorithm - Fair Launch - No Premine on: September 28, 2017, 03:08:03 PM
You where kicked form Discord for posting red letter FUD on ann, then when asked to remove the post you refused, plus you told everybody to sell off their coins.

Nothing sinister about you being kicked, you FUDed, simple.

You asked a question to a dev who was not around to either confirm or deny what it was you was asking, then you bailed out with FUD and told everybody else to.
242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum - New Algorithm - Fair Launch - No Premine on: September 28, 2017, 02:58:54 PM
i mean one signatum dev use a cartoon image
one other use a image of a unknow persone ...
for me ad i belived of signatum if you make a coin of 1 milion dollar valure you need to put your face in...
so good luck guys... it's impossible to me to say but criptodevil was right...
So what, he scammed, how does that makes a shitcoin that we all made money from worse? Not sure why is that people expect anything else, there is no purpose of the coin other than selling it for profit on the exchange, PoS doesn'tguarantee it will be more expensive...

If you haven't sold yours, why blame the dev? No matter how he sneaked (if!) some coins to the exchange, your coins were worth the same as his. And your mining was more profitable than mining almost anything else.

Care to prove your premise it's a scam? I haven't seen any convincing evidence yet.

Well, for starters, skankhunt42 appears to actually be attempting to claim he is James Hinton, the guy in his avatar, by answering to borderline's question in the affirmative. Sure, he'll now claim that he just meant he just happens to sing and play guitar and piano and that, of course, he didn't really mean to imply that he is the guy in his avatar etc. etc. but it is just more lies on top of lies about this 'innovative' coin project.

i defend signatum but now im out.. look this
this is the signatum dev
http://www.npr.org/2016/01/26/464305069/songs-we-love-the-range-florida

Are you saying this picture is used by the Signatum dev on a fake profile?

Do you have a link for it?

yes this imgae is used by dev on discord and telegram...

now i'm banned just for ask.. and that guy is  a dev and my question is: why use a image of unknow people Huh?

sorry for my english

LOL, it looks like he is actually pretending to be James Hinton by answering you that he also plays piano and guitar.

The actual musician @therangejames is not 'skankhunt42'.

Grin Grin Grin and yes i suppose Doc is Locke the superman because of his picture, your arguments and logic are pathetic.

You need to either grow up, or get laid, either way find something better to do with your spare time than look for invisible monsters.

it is grossly sad.

Mining not more possible?

The proof of work phase has now ended  Wink

You are being ridiculous, another CryptoDevil sock puppet.

246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum - New Algorithm - Fair Launch - No Premine on: September 28, 2017, 12:20:37 AM
Hi,
I'm familiar with cryptocurrencies for few years, hovewer finally now I decided to make an account on bitcointalk (better late than never).

Until now I've never used offline wallet - only blockchain or exchanges for making shorts and longs. I've a considerable amount of SIGT on... cryptopia and decided to withdraw it to offline wallet cause I don't trust Yobit (bittrex, c'mon!).

I've few questions:
1. I downloaded wallet but it won't sync. I added signatum.conf file and added nodes (+sigt.suprnova.cc node) and restarted it several times. All the time I've 0-1 connections to network.

2. As I see I got new adress automatically generated, but I added new, second one. How can I remove it without removing wallet.dat?
3. How much space does entire core(transactions history) take on my disk?

Thanks in advance nad let's hope to the moon Smiley

PS. My antivirus is disabled. Kaspersky definitely doesn't like signatum wallet, gives false positive and block it at every possible (and impossible) way. Even I added it few tiems to exceptions. Not it's disabled completely. Do you had similar problem with it?

your English seems ok, what country are you from,

At the moment i do not mean to offend but i get an 80s vibe from your message. maybe European (eastern or spain) correct me by all means.

ensure your ports are open on your router to allow connections, there are many guides on Google to help with this, dependent on router.

addresses with a zero balance can be deleted from your interface, however, not from the block chain.

Why we don't see the POS blocks in the block explorer yet?

http://explorer.signatum.download/index.php?0618fa97cf8d102fe65cedd68c6b63c7c41416f93b71c8ceb0e68c1037966d65

just mining rewards, but no POS rewards...

Is your wallet setup for staking?
248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum - New Algorithm - Fair Launch - No Premine on: September 27, 2017, 11:37:37 PM
Staking has begun, a big thank you to the community, and Devs for hanging on in through stormy weather.

It has not been easy for Signatum, the Devs, or the community to hold it together through extremely turbulent times, however, together, through adversity, we have made it this far.

Let's continue to push into the future, against all odds.

Alone we are a movement, together we are a force... Wink

How can I add new nodes to OSX signatum wallet? I checked in Signatum folder but I can't find *.conf file.

Create one in the folder, open a new text document save it as signatum.conf. then here you can place the nodes.  Wink
250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum - New Algorithm - Fair Launch - No Premine on: September 27, 2017, 06:59:32 PM
what do we have to do to be ready for pos?

Just ensure your wallet is unlocked for staking, indicated by the padlock in the bottom left corner, as long as you have connection to the network, your coins will stake.

Take a look over on discord for development of staking, using a raspberry pi. This will prove to be more energy efficient, in the long term  Wink

Thanks for the info. So it doesn't matter how many coins we have in the wallet?

whatever coins you have in your wallet will result in your network weight, so less coins=less weight, more coins=more weight.  Wink

Got in a bit late on this one but holding as much as I can.

I'd like to ask why? What makes you think this coin is worth holding on to, given that it is just another clonecoin with no innovation, just plenty of hype and market-manipulation.

Sock-puppet or naive newbie?

Seriously, what possible reasoning are you using to justify buying and holding this coin? I'm genuinely astonished that people are still falling for these scams.

Because you should know that there is a good reason why you get quick answers in this thread, and that is due to it being actively shilled by fanbois and scammer accounts routinely making utterly false claims towards 'inside info' about how the industry 'whales' are secretly wanting to buy in to this coin.
yup, that's why there's a lot going on with sigt. Right now, whales are trying to pull down the price of the coin.
Except that claim is a complete lie because, as I said, Signatum is nothing more than a copy-paste clone of another coin with a few of the usual settings changed to make it sound like it is 'different'. It is not, it is simply a Blackcoin clone and they couldn't be bothered to change the leading address character from 'B' to 'S' to even try and make it look like they were a competent crew.

Sloppy pump-and-dump is sloppy.

If you are a genuine noob and not a sock-puppet, give yourself a minute to think about the reality of the situation and ignore that FOMO causing you to buy in to these scams because you will lose your bitcoin in the end. That's why these scammers set these things up, to con you into buying their bags of useless 'Signatum' in exchange for your BTC. For a few months of social-engineering and promoting copied code as their innovative 'tech' they can steal ever more from you and those like you, who believe this to be a legit project, until there's no more marks to trick and then they shut it down and move on to their next 'innovative' hyped clonecoin. Rinse-and-repeat.

That is all this is.

I was wondering if you would have the nerve to show your face again, with your boring SCAM mentality.

Nobody cares for your wretched opinions, the entire community, including newbies find you a laughing stock after your miserable, and ill informed attempts to find a monster under the bed with Signatum.

Bow out gracefully please, because all you are right now is;

A desperate man,
in desperate times,
clinging to desperate measures.
Or he needs to consult a psychiatrist.

You are totally correct Proximus, he does. he possesses many attributes that would point towards depression and anxiety disorders, it clearly shines through even through his typing.

I do not believe it is an ingrained disposition for him, more of a circumstance or experience has left him this way, maybe he was scammed himself once, or possibly has led a life of constant betrayal.

It is a shame really, as he seems as if he leans well towards critical thinking, however, he lets his negative persona shape the outcome of his critique.

It must be very difficult for him to smile, when its clear all he wants to do is cry, he should seek help.

Can I mine this coin with iMac i5 with Nvidia can you tell me is it profitable? Other than mining and exchange other mean of getting this coin maybe? I am new to all this..

anyone here with mining experience need some help.. should I bother is it worht it. Thank you

I am not sure what kind of hashrate you will get with that, it will likely be very low, and with only 2.5 days left to mine you wouldn't get many coins anyway.
At this late stage I would recommend buying some SIGT on Yobit instead, its a good price below 1000 sat at the moment.

Will I be able to withdrawl? I read that yobit stucks the coins and cannot take them.. any thoughts?

Yobit is working fine, one or two people have reported a problem, however, never followed up with a reply, so assuming the case was isolated. Yobit works fine for the majority.
255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum - New Algorithm - Fair Launch - No Premine on: September 26, 2017, 04:25:17 PM
So DEVS!!!!

when are you going to get on a real exchange?

CRYPTOPIA delisted

YOBIT sucks, they have a painfully slow UI and now this message keeps popping up

"Deposit SIGT

You cannot request for withdrawal now. Please try again or contact our Support Team."

not trying to withdraw, trying to deposit.. Yes I have a ticket in with support but their support sucks.

NOVAEXCHANGE
well, no one has been able to create a new account with them for 2 months now. They're registration is in maintenance!! for TWO FUCKING MONTHS!!!

How about doing everyone a favor and work on an exchange that doesnt have major issues, though they all have minor ones. Seems like whatever exchange SIGT is listed on starts having issues with SIGT.

What are you talking about. deposits and withdrawals do not have any problem in yobit
Maybe you want to join the discord the dev are active and responding

Sorry Angelo one other thing.. why on earth should I have to go to the Discord channel to get the DEVS to respond when they themselves created this forum in bitcointalk as a place to speak with them and announce their coin. So they announce here then all official communications are supposed to happen somewhere else? No, they created this topic, they need to be just as active on here as they are on discord or wherever they hang their signatum hat... plain and simple. Dont make your community members jump from place to place just to get issues resolved or speak to you about something. You go to the community, not have them come to you.

That is fine Sparker do not go to discord if you do not want to, that is your choice.

Im not sure any of the problems you are having are concerns of the Signatum Dev team, your problems reside with the exchanges, you need to contact NOVA for an official answer on registration, and Yobit as to why you can not deposit to their hosted wallet.

Contacting Sigt Devs will bring you no answer, as they can not officially speak for the exchanges.
256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum - New Algorithm - Fair Launch - No Premine on: September 26, 2017, 04:06:35 PM
proven scam threads like bitzure or vegacoin...

As I said before, pointing out other suspect coins is not a rebuttal. I've only so much time available to investigate these things, albeit I have no reason to believe that the vast majority of altcoins and ICOs are anything more than cynical cash-grabs promoted as legit projects to people who have little understanding of either the tech or the industry.

This project, however, appears to be a revival of the typical pump-and-dump clonecoin scam perpetrated long before ICOs were in fashion and there is every reason to believe it is not the only clonecoin project under the control of the scammer 'dev team', as a number of fanbois and sock-puppet accounts appear to share very similar interests.

BTW, that wallet address I previously mentioned at the top of the rich list appears to be routinely divesting itself of large portions of coins these past days. It has gone from 13.5 million a day or so ago to 11 million. Just something to take into account when considering how much attention you should be paying to market activity.

CryptoDevil your knowledge and research methods are archaic at best, the wallet you speak of is the single wallet setup by Cryptopia and is releasing as users who have their funds locked in confirm withdrawals. 2+2 does not equal conspiracy.

..."I have no reason to believe that the vast majority of altcoins and ICOs are anything more than cynical cash-grabs promoted as legit projects to people who have little understanding of either the tech or the industry"...

This is not Cryptographic Highlander, "There can be only one coin" It is a free market that invites competitors, yes it needs regulation, however, that is not your place.

As for little understanding of the tech or industry, we will leave that to you, after all anything that is not "innovative" is a scam by your standards (would anyone like a Coke, or a Pepsi to wash this down with) and industry standard front end code, made to make developers lives easier, makes it a scam, by your standards.

look listen, its clear you have a stubborn mindset, maybe the guy who proclaims to be always right (or thinks he is) that is fine. It is crystal clear you don't like your opinion challenged. However, go outside, get some fresh air once in a while, Hell, if you have a wife and kids spend more time with them, before they resent how bitter you have become, over the need to have your own way all the time.

Stop wasting your time here on what you believe to be a "Scam" nobody will thank you, in the end you have made more people fall victim to losses as a result of your allegations, than you have subsequently saved.

This time you walked into the wrong community, with your deformation attempt, now walk back out with your dignity.

It is over for you here.

Yobit seems working for me just ok, but still signatum on more exchanges would be great. Those scam accusation are somewhat worrying me.

If you have a look through the post history of those making the accusations, you will not be worried.

They are perpetual FUDers, with little, to zero credibility on Bitcoin Talk.  Wink

Pro-tip, when invited to look through the post history or to google a forum user, please do so as it is frequently found that the lying scammer sock-puppet accounts who try to so blithely dismiss those who expose their fraud, rely on people simply accepting their word and not actually checking for themselves.

When they do check, however, they can quickly see that the person making the claim is clearly lying. They then need to ask themselves why that person was so compelled to lie.

Cheesy Cheesy Seriously If anyone decided to take a pro-tip from you, the entire Crypto-world would cease to exist overnight.  As I mentioned, absolutely zero credibility.

Certainly puts into perspective the reasoning behind your name, and the idiosyncratic model of the Devil from the Bible. Devil seeks to destroy the world, CryptoDevil seeks to destroy the Crypto-World.

The Devs are working continuously to reach out to more exchanges.

Not sure on your problems with Yobit, works perfectly well on both deposits and withdrawals (tested just over 1 hour ago)

2 months for registration holds is a little over exaggerated, I registered for a NOVA account on the 18th August we are only on the 26th September, 2 months would be the 18th October.

Besides NOVA stopped registrations the day Cryptopia announced de-listing 2 weeks ago.
