I'm just curious about it. Because they say bitcoin will no longer of it's existence so I just want to ask there's any alternative coin that could replace bitcoin or surpass what bitcoin did right now.
Pardon the analogy. Tech wise, Bitcoin was left behind by many already. Bitcoin as it is now is nothing but a store of wealth or a symbol like "Monarchy". It's future depends on how much people like the "Monarchy". It can change really quick with a "revolution". There are many contenders now that can take it's place but the new king will have to be; agile, functional, flexible, adaptable, secure, and fast. ETH is the best candidate for now but we've seen it's limitation. I think the successor to the throne is either very young or yet to be born.

The current ranked 17-22
VEN, QTUM, ICX, LSK, OMG, NANO
These are low risk with high return potential.
I'd be honest, I went with ARK instead of LSK myself though--both are good but I see better future with ARK.
Good luck!

You dont have BTC or USDT. USDT is one of the most important coins for EVERY portfolio. This is the only coin which is not affected by the crisis.
I beg to differ. If you are investing then having USDT is a waste. If you want to park...it is an option. Lol you have no idea how to manage a portfolio. You don't invest to USDT. You just keep it for crisis times to buy cheaper coins or to decrease the cost of your coins (%15-20 of your portfolio depends on you and the time). When the market is healthy you can sell your low cost coins at a good profit. And keep USDT for another crisis. If you say so. If you have it, when do you use USDT? If you have the slightest clue...you use it (ideally) when the market is at the bottom. Guess where we are right now? As I said, you get it to "park" but I prefer parking my investment in BTC or real US dollar...not USDT. If he/you believe the market will continue to tank, then do not go in yet and wait. IMHO, it is IDIOTIC to buy some USDT now.

I love these coins.
NEO 29.32% NANO 17.51% ICON 5.82% VECHAIN 6.19% OmiseGo 7.24% ARK 5.42% OysterPearl 3.49% Req 1.40%
The rest, either I know nothing or don't like them. You should bump up your ICX and VEN and consider buying some QTUM..

I think rank #... 17 VEN 18 QTUM 19 LSK 20 ICX 21 OMG 22 NANO should all be in the top 15 (sorry, can't fit them all in top 12 )

If t crashes again, I have some cash I am holding to grab some. If not, I have enough in my portfolio and I'll enjoy watching them grow back to the pre-crash heights. Either way, I will be happy.

When the market stabilitation is back, you need Elix in your portfolio. Now the Devs works on the beta Version and when this is live then we raise. Also when the App will go live for public.
Again. MY PORTFOLIO is not shown here...this is just the purge list. Common people, please READ!

PRL and KEY are good coins but I would not suggest other ones and why don't you hold some bitcoin as well? If bitcoin will be a world currency, then the price can be really over $100.000
This is my PURGE list...the good coins are not included here.

Keeping...
DBC, just learned they are moving over to NEO platform shortly. PRL, is airdropping SHL (1:1 ratio) next month and mainnet release is also coming next month. Might as well wait for those and see .

My advice, but please do not take it to heart. Only clean out dead projects, or projects you no longer believe in. Last year, I sold off a few alts for the simple reasons that they were either worth less than $10. I did not want to keep their wallets. I wanted to focus on a few. Recently, two of those coins became x100 or more, and I was very, very upset. I sold hundreds of Nano for a few dollars, when they would be worth thousands today even at current price (and almost 20k at the peak.
Thanks. I am actually selling the likely coins/tokens to give me the least return. Of course I might make the wrong choice but such is prospecting. Cheers!

Thanks guys! I sold UTK and QLC and bought more NEO Re: ICX, it is already the biggest in my portfolio but will definitely add more when I can I also just bought some QTUM and is currently 6th in my portfolio.

So I used to hold as much as 40 coins...I've since shrunk it down to 25 coins/tokens but I want to reduce it further if possible. I have about $3,000 on these 8 coins and I'd rather re-invest some of it to better coins if possible. THIS IS NOT MY FULL PORTFOLIO!!!The candidates to be PURGED are:APPC PRL NCASH DBC TEL UTK QLCKEY While I consider these the least ideal among my coins, I think all have growth potential. Thus the need for "encouragement"/help which to purge. Thank you.

Secure is good but it goes with minimal growth. I'd rather buy actual gold bullion than hold a certificate OR a coin/token for it. Good luck!

Thanks for the info. A pretty strange list, but I thought UNO was removed a long time ago, and MTL has good value on bittrex, but checking it on coinmarketcap shows that all volume moved to binance
Some coins may be delisted a long time ago but only now are the wallets being removed. There are various reasons for delisting...not just low volume. As mentioned some are due to non-compliance to SEC regulations.

check out coin mastery youtube channel the last episode. Hey tries to look at the bigger picture (which i like). He makes the case that coinbase wants to push in the altcoin market and bittrex would be the ideal candidate to takeover. I kind of like the idea with circle and cobinhood coming up as competition. Bittrex + coinbase Teamup=alts with fiat gateway. Although i admit its a long shot but worth to keep in mind
Cheers
It is indeed a nice team-up but the reason I said unlikely is; - Bittrex will not give up a lucrative position...unless they are in financial trouble (that we don't know about). - Coinbase won't pay for an "expensive exchange" when they can easily create one themselves. They already have the know-how and the customer base (most important part). As it is, a merger is a "loss" to either party (rather a potential financial disadvantage to one) .

At 12$ each this Sunday it was a steal, its now 20$ already though. It should easily be 30-35$ in a 50b marketcap market but until then it doesnt have more room to grow. I managed to buy at $15...a bit too early but no regrets. I think QTUM is one of the gems many pass by. It has a potential to grow like NEO once it get traction. Literally...a sleeping giant.
