I have given up on SIA, I had money in it while it was on the top and sold all my sia while it was there, will not be going in.
If you look at the promotion video of kim dotcom with his k.im coin you can see that his idea will make use of SIA. So i think this will increase the price as more will make use of the system. However looking at the same video you can see that also STORJ is used. So it will be a battle of the 2. |

I am looking into XEM tecnology, but I don't understand some points.
The first:
-- Equity Markets
The equity market poses a very inefficient system when it comes to post-trade clearing, payment and settlement. Trade matching occurs at the rate of hundreds of transactions per second but clearing and settlement of stock takes more than two days to complete. The equity market should consider a complete system revamp as the current systems and practice methods are based on legacy process practices that are outdated. The NEM blockchain technology is a suitable core component to re-design the equity market ecosystem which could save the industry billions of dollars a year in operational expenses.

What does it mean ''clear and settlement of stocks''? Sorry I am not english native language.
Is this use-case really useful for financial world? Are there competitors outside the blockchain who can do this function better?

Whenever you buy stocks you pay cash, however there is a 3 day settlement period between the transaction and the settlement (receiving stocks). The problem about this is that during those days there is a risk of not completing the transaction (when you don't have the funds to finance it). So what XEM is doing is to reduce that period and instantly settle a purchase/sale. |

I would wait until ico is over and buy at etherdelta or hitbtc. will then be very cheap. maybe soagr strongly under ico price. is now at almost all ico so they are later cheaper. this is a safe variant for all
Centra will compete with Tenx for the banking license. The first card to get that license is the card that will go to the moon. I like the marketing of Centra (mayweather and DJ Khaled) but if you look at overall acceptance Tenx has more cards out there than Centra. Still looking closely at both coins as they may reach the moon in the near future. |

If altcoins die than bitcoin will die as most of the altcoins are paired with bitcoin. I don't see a crash of bitcoin coming in the near future so uhm altcoins are here till we all go with retirement  |

Coins like Verge and Doge are very slow to increase in price. Their supply kills low term bubbles. So you should think very long term while reviewing Verge's future.
Since i read about this mistake almost every day, i will give you an example of why it doesn't matter how big the supply is. Your Profit ALWAYS depends on the amount of Money you want to invest. Let's say you invest 1000$ in a coin with a supply of 1 bln and 1000$ in BTC - max supply 21 mln. In both cases - when the Price goes up 5% - you make a Profit of 5%, i.e. 50$. From one coin you have an amount of like 10.000; of BTC only 0.27 << the one and ONLY difference. What you are meaning is the actual Price per coin in relation to fiat. But who cares for fiat Exactly how i think about it. Because eventually the crypto marketcap will increase as more people will invest in crypto. Coins with low supply have a higher chance to increase in relation to fiat. But in the end you could get 100x gain in coins with low and high supply. The only question is how long can you wait. |

I gave up on ripple when I heard that the banks dont need to buy ripple from exchanges. They have some deal in which they get it cheaply from some other source. Thats why the price will not go up. Its like there are two ripples, one for suckas who buy it high from exchange and then the big companies who get it cheap under the table.
Of course there might be other smaller companies that want to i.e integrate with banks and they need to buy ripple from exchanges. But I dont know, if the deal is real then ripple is ripping us of.
DO you guys hear the news about R3 sue the Ripple because of the guaranted qty cheap XRP... Do anybody know how have they to make this deal? I mean way of acquiring XRP assets... Well a lot of the XRP circulating are in fact held by the ripple company. So ye it's easy for ripple to promise a bag of ripples for a price they want. |

There is no limit of holding any coin.You have to wait for it's best price.After that you have to observe the market on daily basis.That's how you can decide when to sell your coin..
What i do if i reached my goal and still want to wait for some profit is to add an alert in blockfolio. in that way if a sudden crash will happen i can sell before my profits will go in dust. Due to the heavy fluctuations in crypto you are never safe. |

Really, is it true that russia and korea have banned ICO? True that China and Also Russia and Korea too have banned ICO But they are still thinking about legalizing it. and so there is a hope that they will change their decision and recognize bitcoin like other countries like America, japan or Canada. don't panic... Any proofs that Russia and Korea banned ICOs? What I know about Russia, is that Russia's Central Bank Issues Warning on Cryptocurrencies and ICOs. But they didn't banned anything. People are all in fear of fake news. 1 min google search and you can find real news verified from multiple sources about russia making rules to conduct an ICO. Siacoin, Rddcoin, Bytecoin, Embercoin, Linda all these coins are not showing much progress. Is there any chance of growth of these coins? When can we expect something good coming from their team? Also trying to figure out trash coin circulating in the market. Please add your response guys.
I am actually in SIA and RDD and don't think they are trash coins. The development is still little bit slow but when they announce progress the coinprice will reach the sky. The problem with slow development is that investing in it is risky. However the more risk you take the more rewards you get (or loss ) |

I'm using Electrum & mew. Private keys are saved in password protected .xlsx lists and stored in multiple hard drives.
But still how can you protect yourself if a hacker has a RAT on your computer and can just copy your password whenever you type it in? |
