241  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Potential Korean War and bitcoin super bull on: December 08, 2017, 07:31:04 AM
i think it is possible.
if it were a couple of years ago, even last year, i would have said the effects won't be much. but this year many things changed about bitcoin and the attitude of people towards it. nowadays many are considering bitcoin as a legit investment and a good one at that too. they are including it in their investments alongside old ones such as gold.
and when something like a war breaks out, many will start thinking about storing their money in a safe place and since bitcoin is one of them now, they will be buying it causing a big bull run.

So what your saying is EVERY HODL'r is a WAR PROFITEER Smiley

Note Satoshi is Japanese, he saw this coming, you might even say he planned this outcome all along, a safe exit strategy from USA hegemony in North-East Asia.

This would be an extremely stupid strategy.  Even if this scenario is true or likely there's only one glaring problem:

If Koreans and Japanese are putting their money in BTC the minute that they have fully done so and the volatility of these transactions flattens out, everyone else in the world will dump their holdings and take profits since they know that these people are just using it for a short term transport of wealth to be deposited later elsewhere....essentially sucking out everything these two nations put in and then some.  The price would wind up right back where it was before the pump.

This is probably too abstract for many to understand so let it sink in before you react.  If people are really scared of war, they are better off pulling cash out of their banks and putting it in a foreign investment account.

Well U could say the same thing about GOLD, you could say as soon as the WAR is over everybody sells their gold and it becomes worthless, but its doesn't work that way? does it?

ASIANS are savers, not idiots like white trash, ASIAN are like the toroise, and white-trash are like rabbits in heat churning btc on exchanges that will be out of biz tomorrow

The problem is 'fleeing' the war with gold no longer works, everywhere in world now has metal detectors that go off everywhere you go on earth, thus gold brings unwarranted attention,

The ONLY secret way to move wealth without visible notice is BITCOIN like cryptos
242  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Potential Korean War and bitcoin super bull on: December 08, 2017, 07:24:41 AM
Do you think this is the main reason why bitcoin price skyrocketted now? Because of my busy life I haven't watch or read any news about the war. I wish only few people will get hurt if it will happen. For me, who doesn't have a good amount of btc, the increasing price is good but do you think it will continue to rise? If yes then those who hold btc will have a good christmas and new year.

im not a busy person and infact im always logged in here to the forum every single day but im not aware of this kind of news about country wars though i heard before that the china had a war of something and then now it is south korea that is making the headlines hot but i still dunno if these news was legit or just a plain hoax?  yet one thing for sure, prices of bitcoin are not totally related to it and this is not the main reason why bitcoins value has skyrocketted.  prices of bitcoin are related only on the demand and supply of the market.

Because war is very profitable for certain people. I guess when you get your hands on such amount of power and wealth you start playing with peoples lives in order to profit. It is greed at it's finest. Cyber wars are the future and are happening right now. I certainly hope there will not be any nuclear wars in the near future.

lol, i didnt actually know that war is verry profitable than hodling and trading a bitcoin. war happens not because of power and wealth or playing with  people lives, war occurs when theres a terrorist that attacks a certain countries. cyber wars is also pretty normal because people can say something offensive/ inapropriate  or whatever they want online without exposing their real identities and i think this is not a real issue that we should worried about.

Majority of price has been KOREAN exchanges, this has been true for months, a known-known, well known to those who follow macro

Pretty much since August 2017, BITCOIN day-trading has taken on a MANIA in South-Korea, Forbes did an article months ago, if you wish to recap

The KOREAN-WON ( KRW their money ) has always been a shit currency, like 10k krw to the USD, reminds me of turkish or italian lira

South-Korean people know its just a USA plantation slave colony for SAMSUNG products ran by USA GOV NSA-CIA spy operations, they know there is no future in GOV currency, so why not invest in something? It's like the only game in town.

Again read the Forbes article, they do a good job of explaining how this all came about.

Regarding the war, talk to TRUMP, potus of USA, he seems to be the person talking about bombing NK for Israel
243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Major benefit of bitcoin? on: December 08, 2017, 07:10:05 AM
Major benefit of bitcoin is its wide adoption as a mother of all crypto. As long as it's functioning at all, it'll be a huge part of all crypto marketcap combined.

First means a lot, lotus-123 was #1 for years, cuz they were first, they weren't the best, or fastest, but ppl tend to stay with what they know, until something better or free comes along.

Trouble is people measure success in CAPITAL MARKET-CAP, I would suggest that there are better coins out there, like zencash and monero,

Given all alt's are just clones of the mother, what is clearly missing is innovation,

Just too easy for assholes like BITCOIN GOLD (BTG) to clone BTC, and make $5 Billion USD market-cap with zero added-value, you can blame open-source for this I guess
244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Major benefit of bitcoin? on: December 08, 2017, 07:06:43 AM
I can answer my question by saying that bitcoin has what others don't and that's being the pioneer in the crypto markets. Which is why everything is priced in bitcoin But really....what does bitcoin do better that any other alt? What's the intrinsic value of bitcoin that I can't get with other alt? Transaction fees? No. Fast network? No. scalability? No. A functional product? No. Full anonymity? No. Descentralización? No. So? The markets are priced in bitcoin, and being that base of value is pretty important, but...is that it?

 Transaction fees? No.

FEES are good, day traders should have their own coin, BTC is for rich ppl

Fast network? No.

With GOV centralization comes speed, be careful what you wish for

I would rather be slow like a horse, than fast like a prison

 scalability? No.

Its scaling just fine

 A functional product? No.

What do you want for free?

 Full anonymity? No.

This is my biggest PEEVE about BTC, but nobody cares, its almost like the NSA/CIA gave us BITCOIN so that we could fill the block-chain for them.

Decentralization? No. So?

I disagree BTC is built on the torrent peer2peer steal a movie model and works just fine

***

Most of your questions, justify the existence of the +2,000 BITCOIN clones out there, .... trouble is almost 99% are the same, just rename shit, ...

***

What's needed is the killer-app for teen-agers, seems like most BITCOIN today is just losers trying to get rich as day-traders, ... BORING

Its just a tradition in high-tech, the 'first' is always the REF pretty much forever,

Back in the day Mitch Kapor was the first spread-sheet, he became rich,

Went on to mention that anybody could be a millionaire, just need ..

1.) a garage
2.) a computer
3.) a million bucks for marketing

Success in TECH is

1.) First
2.) best
3.) fastest

BITCOIN is 1, 2 is not known, and 3 is also up for grabs in crypt world

"FIRST" is always very important, but ultimately forgotten, just like 'lotus-123'. Now kids only know XLS

Today  there are 2,000+ BTC clones, not unlike the 2,000+ 123 clones in the 1980's, ultimately microsoft steps in and takes over the market, the fortune-100 ppl are still trying to figure the bTC thing out, ... give them time, its really only been about 2-3 years since the thing went mildly mainstream.

BITCOIN today is a lot like the railroads of the 1800's, U know the train is the future, but you don't know which company, or which tracks will be permanent.
246  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN PRICE is About Collapse of US Dollar - Nothing Else to Consider on: December 08, 2017, 06:43:04 AM
Simply PUT the BITCOIN will go to $1Million USD because the USD will hyper-inflate/deflate to the point of having no value.

The US Dollar is a post WW2 Ponzi Scheme, that is now Game-Over

US GOV has kept interest rates near zero now for some ten years, and they can't go back; They're stuck, now all just gnaw their teeth at the 'bank' ( federal reserve) and wait for the reset ( new 'shit dollar' ).

The entire world in the know has no place to keep their money other than BITCOIN, or some other equivalent trusted crypto-currency.

***

BITCOIN is the currency of the Gods in China, and it is the currency of the Sovereign man worldwide.

Of course BITCOIN will continue to be the enemy of GOV, until they lose their jobs and go unpaid and "Re-Invent' Themselves as BITCOIN representatives and bankers of bitcoin.

PAPER MONEY is DEAD, in MODERN society its no longer possible to TRADE in Gold for almost all normal business.

In summary don't look at the price of BITCOIN as going UP, just look at the price of BTC as the US DOLLAR Plummets worldwide.

***

BITCOIN is NOT a classic FAUX-PAPER STOCK MARKET FRAUD

I'd like to present the works on major bull trends by H.M Gartley who wrote Profits in the Stock Market (1935).

How to recognise a bull market ending.

1. The daily volume has risen to an all time high.
2. Wide daily fluctuations are a regular occurrence.
3. Nearly everyone you meet appears to be in some way interested in the market.
4. Most financial news writers and financial commentators can see no reasons for any important decline.

"The thought of a bear market being around the corner is not seriously considered".

"A bear who presents what appear to be sound and logical reasons why a collapse is imminent, is considered to be either an out-and-out dyspeptic, or at least a very unpatriotic citizen."

"He can count on being very unpopular".

"Each bull market breeds a crop of traders who fail to recognize the unmistakable signs of a storm."

This is quite different, could be applied to GOLD, BITCOIN is not going away.

Traditional STOCK in 1935 was just paper pulled out of their ass and traded on WALL-STREET, not unlike US Dollar fiat today, printed to infinity with zero cost to FRN

BITCOIN represents a new shell, a new totem, a new way for mankind to represent his wealth and transmit it anywhere in the universe.

US Dollar can't collapse, its backed by BITCOIN Smiley
247  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN to ONE BILLION US Dollars? Here's How it Could Happen on: December 08, 2017, 06:40:32 AM
There's no need to flee anywhere with gold.   There are dozens of places around the world that provide gold storage services.    All you need is to know how to buy a plane ticket.    Oh, and of course you need to have some money to actually convert to gold bars.

 Smiley

During a civil war, people flee with the clothes on their back,

Take the refugees in Europe, they are scanned, and if carrying wealth over 250 Euro, it is confiscated,

When there is civil-war there are no scheduled flights,

Smart people 'flee' long before the shooting starts.

Today, almost all governments have capital control, so bitcoin is one of the only mechanisms left to transfer funds, FYI in HONG-KONG you are limited to transfer $50K USD/per day, that be a capital control, and if you are a millionare, it could take months to move cash abroad, but authority's would take notice after the first few dozen daily transfers, ...
248  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Potential Korean War and bitcoin super bull on: December 08, 2017, 06:28:19 AM
I think it is purely speculation and not military politics, because I see that south korea is not ready to make threats to north korea. but different when speaking north korea, i think bitcoin has a very important element on their defense. but I can not be sure that bitcoin prices will rise 100% in a day when war is between US and north korea.

The USA will BOMB North-Korea into the stone-age like they did in 1950's to NK.

NK will lob bombs at the lackeys Taiwan, Japan, & South Korea who eat USA shit, and Suck Uncle-Sam nut-sack;

What most people don't realize is that South-Korea, Taiwan, and Japan are the 53,54, and 55th States of the USA, so South Korean people know that if Uncle-Sam bombs NK, then Seoul ( Wash-DC of SK ) & Tokyo-Japan get wiped off the map.

Asians are long term thinking people and today the only safe place to store your wealth to you can flee the coming civil-wars is BITCOIN or other crypto-currencys.

A war will not benefit anyone.  Angry   -== The supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting. Sun Tzu ==-
Why do we have to destroy lives, to change the world? Why do we need WAR to drive up the price of Bitcoin?

Bitcoin cannot be built on the blood of mostly innocent lives. North Korea has been preparing for war for many years and South Korea have been building bunkers for most of that time. Bitcoin can help them to protect their wealth and also to give them mobility, when the shit hits the fan. <Bitcoin is borderless>

Because war is very profitable for certain people. I guess when you get your hands on such amount of power and wealth you start playing with peoples lives in order to profit. It is greed at it's finest. Cyber wars are the future and are happening right now. I certainly hope there will not be any nuclear wars in the near future.

Let's see in the 1950's the USA killed 50 million people in North Korea? Why?

Since then the USA has controlled Taiwan, South Korea, and Japan. Note that Post WW2 Taiwan & Japan were just USA Army bases, during 1950's USA moved most of their bases to South Korea as a launch point for colonizing North Korea.

In spite of killing 50 million people the North Koreans' remained strong, and prevented USA aggression, now bump to today, Japan wants USA OUT, South Korea wants USA OUT, and Taiwan wants USA out.

Phillipines have already kicked SAM Uncle OUT, and Okinawa has banned marines from leaving the bases, as all they do is get drunk and rape children.

USA solution? Is to KILL MORE KOREAN PEOPLE, the funny thing is that in the next few years US GOV is going to start murdering its own people, plan is to reduce USA population from current 320 Million to 80 million by 2025.
251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin image just got completely screwed today on: December 08, 2017, 05:56:36 AM
It sucks because I had just at down to sell one over 19, after hours of walking around saying WTF is happening???  And that's when it went down.  Still can't log onto coinbase...
The press is going to murder bitcoin today.

COINBASE has been an IRS agent for years now, anybody that used COINBASE deserves whats coming to them, whether it be IRS stealing their BTC, or a common non-gov criminal.

BTC was never meant to be controlled by Mining-Pools and IRS Gov Agent Fronts.

COINBASE is the Microsoft of BITCOIN, where NSA/CIA has had close relationship with Microsoft 20+ years to spy on USA people, COINBASE has worked closely with IRS since inception.

IF killing millions of CHILDREN in North Korea with white-phosphorous bombs made in Israel, and dropped on North-Korea makes BTC sky-rocket, then U know that the vast majority on this forum, will support TRUMP and his insane wars.

South Korea, Japan, Taiwan or all Post WW2 USA colony's, North Korea, is the only place that is NOT owned by CIA. All banks in Japan, South-Korea, and Taiwan are CIA-IMF New World Order banking. The CIA colony's want to break away from colonial control of USA and go to CHINA AIIB which is the future for all ASIAN people.

Will the USA kill 50 million north korean people to protect the petro-dollar? Yes

Will the USA murdering 10's of Millions of Korean people make BITCOIN skyrocket? Yes

Remember if the war starts in Korea, it will also mean that KIM retaliates on ALL USA puppets country's in area, which means that all these country's backed by USA-IMF banks, that their currency becomes worthless, as the asian people will flock to CHINA/Russia alliance, and drop the US-DOLLAR

254  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin capital gain tax on: December 08, 2017, 05:42:34 AM
Basically, the tax agency views bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies as property and not currency for tax purposes. And although you may not receive a Form 1099 from whatever exchange you trade on, you remain responsible for paying taxes on gains.

U work for me, I will give U a motorcycle, its still income in view of IRS, of the FMV of what you got, all the games have come & gone, including getting paid in ten cent silver coins, really worth $10 each.

IRS is NOT stupid,

Houses, Dildos, beany-babys, or BITCOIN's all have a fair market value, to be taxed, unless its an estate gift, ...but then that should have been already declared,

The entire deal, is that they just 'take it all', say you sold $50k on coinbase, and that was 3+ years ago, you get a letter you owe $150k in back taxes, penalty's and fines, then they just take out all the money from your bank accounts and put a lien on your property, the burden is on U, to file retroactive tax forms and PROVE that taxable income is less than they report, but then you still have to pay all the fines and penalty's, and don't forget the fortune that your CPA & Lawyers charge you for having to defend you against the IRS, and good luck getting your money back from the IRS that they nabbed from your bank accounts, 401k's, credit-unions, and trust-accounts.

Moral of STORY, if U play BITCOIN, then don't use a USA backed exit when you get off the BITCOIN-HIGHWAY.

For all you PUMPERS trying to get NORMAL-JOE on the BITCOIN train, remember that your really making his life to be a HELL ON EARTH

BITCOIN was never to have mining pools, gov controlled exchanges, or any of this current BULLSHIT

BITCOIN was a peer2peer barter transaction environ, off the grid, and unseen by GOV.
255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin capital gain tax on: December 08, 2017, 05:32:58 AM
If bitcoin governments around the world will gain a large tax revenue and growth rate will be amazing. But it is hard to know who owns bitcoin and is trading them.

Which is why all the 'satoshi' legacy coin has never been spent,

Once you spend a coin, and cash out at an official USA BANK IRS SPYING location then you are fucked and hard.

Probably better to go on vacation in BTC friendly country, and do a LOT of gambling, enjoy lots of girls, and wear a disguise. Smiley
256  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin capital gain tax on: December 08, 2017, 05:29:53 AM
With bitcoin hitting all time high, like to hear what everyone is doing with their taxes for the profits.  Be honest, lets have a open discussion.

I plan to file with irs and pay the capital gain tax. I think it's just a matter of time before coinbase hands over all records to irs anyway, they are fighting for the 2015 and earlier info now, but i am sure 2016/2017 will be easier to get.

I am fine paying my share of the taxes due, only real concern is irs will use it as an indicator to flag me for audit.  So basically trying to do it right but end up getting screwed.

What is everyone's thoughts and plan? given it's almost tax season.

WORD on street is that if U cashed out on MORE than $20K in BTC on COINBASE then the IRS has their target bead painted on your ass.

What this means is that you have $20K undeclared income fully taxed with back taxes and penalty's owed, which can easily exceed the original $20k,

IF you mine, then burden is on U to prove your mining and equipment costs less your profit, the FULL amount on COINBASE is used to as un-reported taxable income.

MORAL of story, is NEVER use an EXCHANGE based in USA, or based on USA law, otherwise U R Fucked.

The current debate is that IRS wants ALL records for all time down to $10k, now they have all records for all time down to $20k, but standard approach, COINBASE has already proven themselves as willing to have their customers to be ass-raped by GOV.

ALL exchanges & mining-pools on USA soil to become USA-IRS tax agents.

Why would war make bitcoins more expensive? I don't get the logic. Would people be panicking to get out of fiat or for some reason you think they'll want bitcoin for some other reason?

Asians have known constant tribal war in ASIA for some +4,000 years, and all along, you kept a couple ounces of GOLD buried at home, and in time of war you fled to a new place to farm with the family.

Now today, GOV made it impossible to FLEE with GOLD, thus BITCOIN allows ppl to keep their wealth safe from criminals and GOV cop criminals.

When everybody BUYS something the price sky-rockets, likewise nobody wants the local currency, cuz in times of war there is NO confidence in the government.

***

The USA brought this shit on, Israel wants the North Korean OIL&RARE-EARTH minerals, its said that OIL reserves in NK rival saudi, which is now kaput, the zionists of saudi/israel want North-Korea, and China is NOT going sit on their ass nor Russia, so we're talking WW3,

ONLY place to hide your money will be BITCOIN

Only question is "Is Trump this stupid?" Yes, of course he is, and Israel holds his leash

Zionists have no choice, their only strategy for survival post petro-dollar is a new currency back by North-Korean oil reserves and rare-earth mineral's ( vitamins of the semiconductor industry worldwide )

Either way, BITCOIN goes north o $ ONE MILLION US DOLLARS

The US DOLLAR plummets to being worthless, think Zimbabwean Trillion Dollar notes, ... thus BITCOIN could go to ONE TRILLION USD or more

What are your thoughts in comparison to mine? BTC 40k next year? more or less?

Is nicehash coming back?

Is the BTC train going to continue up or are you moving your BTC into some alts or out of crypto entirely? ( never that Cheesy )

NICEHASH is/was a FRAUD

They never had any BITCOIN, they just stole their client balance and blamed hackers on the outside.

This was just closure, an exit strategy for the nicehash criminal corporation.

Yes I am sure that it is the biggest factors of the bitcoin price increasing, not only korean people but also japanese people, they are convert their fiat into bitcoin to save their wealth. Its good for bitcoin. Its so logic, isn't it? Potential korean war is the biggest factor, its my opinion.

Yes, KIM is smart enough to know that JAPAN & South-Korea are USA slave colony's just like Taiwan, and Philiipines.

Thus KIM will BOMB the fuck out of TOKYO, or have his plants burn it down from inside,

Thus BITCOIN will go to $500k, cuz the Japs&s-kors have no place to hide their wealth, when they flee their homes and head to the farmlands of japan, as the citys will become hell zones.

The real question is DONALD TRUMP this stupid?

Hell yes, and he's doing gods work, cuz god lives in Israel.
