His excuse to have an uncapped ICO is to let everyone get in. Almost all investors have lost buying EOS. And you have more than Ethconnect? It has 11k members in telegram and you have 2500 only and Ethconnect took only 5.7 million USD.  EOS had not such a great Affiliate plan as we do just wait until our ICO is over i can promise you here and now that you will see HBC at 25$ within weeks. But yes you are right with EOs and what happened to them but mark my words please. I saw in my account 1 "'team member- Inactive"', but from yesterday 1 member became to zero member.
