241  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: November 28, 2017, 07:33:18 AM
If you had to convert all your wealth to either Bitcoin or gold and keep it there for 10 years, which would you choose? Keep in mind the fact that Bitcoin has only been around for 5 years, and could be fundamentally different in any number of ways in 10 years.

If i have to choose between bitcoin and gold, i have to choose the gold. Because in gold i am 100 percent  sure that it can't be gone for 10 years and even 20 more years . While bitcoin is only an online currency that are no securitys that it can't be gone for 10 years.

243  Bitcoin / Press / [2017-11-28]The Cryptocurrency Market Cap Trends Higher on: November 28, 2017, 02:26:03 AM
This week the entire cryptocurrency market capitalization surpassed US$300Bn for the first time in history. Bitcoin’s significant rise in value, alongside the wide variety of other cryptocurrencies having similar price spikes continue to reveal that digital assets are trending across the world in a big way.

1323 Cryptos Command a Whopping $300Bn Market Cap

Bitcoin came to the world back in January of 2009, and following its birth, other cryptocurrencies were born during the early days like litecoin, mastercoin, feathercoin, and peercoin. Now there are 1323 different cryptocurrencies that have created a significantly large market capitalization of over $300Bn. According to Coinmarketcap.com, over the past two weeks, digital asset trade volumes have been through the roof trading nearly $15-26Bn in daily trades. The financial publication Business Insider notes that metric is “higher than the 5-day average trading volume for some U.S. equity exchanges.”

244  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to join signature bounty? on: November 28, 2017, 02:00:30 AM
Hello there! I am going to take part in signature bounty campaign for the first time. Unfortunately, I can't understand how to use their avatar and special link to their website with all posts from my profile.   Huh

If you want to join a bounty campaign, you must need to make first a twitter account. And you have to reach their required followers. And when you already reach it, you are ready to any bounty campaigns. Just apply to the campaign that you'd like to join, and make sure that you followed all of their rules to be qualified to their campaign.

246  Bitcoin / Press / [2017-11-27]Former SEC Commissioner: Initial Coin Offerings on: November 27, 2017, 01:37:27 PM
Former SEC Commissioner: Initial Coin Offerings “Open and Notorious Violation” of Law

“ICOs represent the most pervasive, open and notorious violation of federal securities laws since the Code of Hammurabi,” an outraged former commissioner of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) told the New York Times in a recent interview. And at least this much is true: regulators around the world find it maddening that a multi-billion USD market has popped up … without their permission.

SEC Under Pressure from One of its Own
“It’s more than the extent of the violation,” Joseph Grundfest continued. “It’s the almost comedic quality of the violation.”

Former SEC Commissioner: Initial Coin Offerings "Open and Notorious Violation" of Law

Mr. Grundfest is a former SEC commissioner appointed in the 1980s by President Reagan.

ICOs are modeled after initial public offerings, but instead of shares of stock investors are holders of digital coins, tokens, which they can use sometimes in commerce or trade (buy and sell). They’re a finance vehicle operating largely as an end-run around legacy banking and mainstream exchanges — often friction-filled with legal and regulatory restrictions, acting as barriers to entry for smaller startups.

247  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Hardware wallets? on: November 27, 2017, 12:54:47 PM
As the name suggests, are they worth it? Looking for security obviously.

I have looked at Trezor, Ledger and Keepkey

Not sure what is preferred, and is it correct that the wallets themselves doesn't actually store your coins? are they better than a simply paper wallet?

Thanks in advance.

Yes hardware wallet is more safer rather than a simple paper wallet. All the names that are suggested to you are all trustworthy for your bitcoin. But it's more expensive than the others.
248  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: when I invest in genesis-mining on: November 27, 2017, 12:44:41 PM
Hi guys, I wanted to know when I invest in genesis-mining, what is the benefit ? and what the difference between trading bitcoin " Forex" and Mining
Because want to make good  profit without risky .

Cloud mining is very risky. If i were you if you want to make a good profit without risk, you should join to a signature campaigns or invest in a ico, it is more safe rather than investing in cloud mining that are not trustworthy, because ico is known as classified investment site.
249  Bitcoin / Press / [2017-11-27]The World’s Worst Named Cryptocurrencies on: November 27, 2017, 03:49:29 AM
Some people call them cryptocurrencies. Others call them altcoins or alts. But to many they’re known as shitcoins: digital currencies that are like bitcoin but, well, crappier. Sure, they may boast faster transactions and lower fees, but they lack the brand recognition, network effects and catchy name. Without, they were destined to be doomed.

What’s in a Name?
Deadcoins.com is a repository of the worst coins ever foisted upon the cryptocurrency community. Some were always a joke; others became a joke; and others were simply cursed with unfortunate names which meant they never got off the ground. Highlights include Scamcoin with its “innovative proof of scam system” and AssPennies: “Created in 2014, this coin was the shittiest of the original shitcoin craze”.

Other classics that are dead in the water include Fck Banks Coin, Fellatiocoin (it blew), Groincoin, and Crimsoncoin whose devs “sold their coins and ran off in less than a week”. No prizes for guessing what happened to DodoCoin. If you think that’s as low as it goes, strap in and hold on tight cos we’re just getting started.

250  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the safest wallet to use? on: November 27, 2017, 12:32:39 AM
Should I just write it on a piece of paper? What do you guys use?

If you need a safer wallet, you must buy a hardware wallet. It is the best and safest wallet for your bitcoins, but its more expensive than the others.
251  Economy / Economics / Re: Which one is good, trading or investing? on: November 25, 2017, 11:57:39 PM
Trading and investing are both risky, you need a hard searching for it to find a legit sites. Trading and investing needs knowledge and experience to get a profit on them. Because now a days there are so many sites that are scams so the probability to get scammed is to high. If i were you i must try to find a job or sell goods and services.
252  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think bitcoin ever be safe for any investment ? on: November 25, 2017, 09:38:18 AM
At present situation government actually not so much concern about such kind of currency for that  reason people are not so much interested for using this currency. it is now use as a electronic currency though computerized system.
in terms of purchase and sales bit coin holder's are safe but the  lack of proper monitoring system by implementing different protocols client are demotivated for using this currency on investment projects.Every country's government should established a policy for securing those client who are holder of bitcoin like an cash or deposit account holders and this types of policy help to motivated bitcoin holders for investing different sector for establishing new entrepreneur in order to development of economical condition.

I don't think so, because now a day's there are so many scammers around. For every move you do like investing, you need some research first before you invest.
253  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: November 24, 2017, 02:10:58 PM
Is it better to save money in bank or invest it online, in real estate or maybe gold?

Saving money in banks and investing it trough online are just the same, you have a profit on every money you save or invested in. But you have to make sure that the banks or online companies you'll like to invest in are all reliable and profitable.

256  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How will I know if I'm Earning a Bitcoin through posting and replying? on: November 14, 2017, 12:03:47 PM
I'm a newbie here. How many post/activity does it take to earn a bitcoin? And where am I supposed to see my Bitcoins to know if I'm earning already?  Huh

You can't earn bitcoin trough posting and replying until you join to any bounty or signature campaigns. And when it comes to your earnings, you need a wallet address and you can have this when you make a bitcoin wallet in any  online or hardware wallet.
257  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I need investment Advice on: November 14, 2017, 11:35:16 AM

259  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How do I setup a hardware wallet? on: November 14, 2017, 08:44:06 AM
I'm new to the crypto world and I've watched youtube videos but they weren't too much help.  How would I go about setting up a hardware wallet?  Sorry if this topic has already been discussed on a previous thread.  It would be awesome if you could post the link.

Thanks in advance!

Look for any hardware wallet and download it. Any wallet web site will teach you how to use it, so do not ask a silly question here.

Hardware wallet is an object, you can't download it in any site or in play store. You need to buy or purchase it before you have it.
260  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What is considered a "Constructive Post" on Signature Campaigns? on: November 13, 2017, 08:42:11 AM
This is kind of subjective.
I'd like to know what Signature Campaign managers consider to be a constructive post.
Is it a topic that gets lots of replies?
Is it a simple answer to another member's question?
What are the guidelines for a Constructive Post?

Simple or lots of replies, you can considered it a constructive post if it's understandable, useful and on topic. But there are some campaign managers that gives a 75 or above minimum of characters that you need to make on every post you do.
