@dragonmike how you know what is the problem if you are remotely, have an remotely socket to restart the rig too? and start by an automated process..and you never see the problem ? ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) I've got a TP-Link wifi plug indeed, so I'm just seeing on the pool that the rig is offline. Use my app in my phone to turn off the plug and back on again. When then looking at the event viewer in Windows, I'm none the wiser: "Kernel Power blahblah the last shutdown was unexpected blahblah". Don't know what happened. Only thing I know is that the rig did either lock itself up or did not reboot after it crashed (for whatever fukkin reason). I'm kinda hoping it's trying to reboot but gets stuck in auto-repair screen. Preventing this would fix that problem. yeahh, probably like my problem... ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) We will report soon. Now only have the monitor connected bug. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Maybe is the board..

Hi again Folks, I Have this rig: Asrock H110 PRO BTC 120gb SSD 8GB Ram CPU G4400 1 Saphire 8gb NItro + 7 Shaphire 4gb Nitro + 2 EVGA 750 watts GQ Windows 10 Like i said Sometimes my rig got a kernel power and restarst (3 days more or less) ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) But when restarts if i doesnt have connected any monitor (just have an black screen) and doesn´t sig in to windows to do the automated processes to start miner etc.. I tryed type 'netplwiz'. uncheck the 'users must use password to logon' and enter in your credentials. it will auto-login to windows upon reboot. And do this stuff, but only if i have an monitor connected, otherwise if i remotely connect i just see an blackscreen in teamviewer. So I will bought an dvi dummy plug to solve that and just stay my old monitor connect. In bios i tested change the internal vga or pciexpress and the problem is the same. Just curious if anybody had solutioned this problems hehe

Random thread, random day, but could go a long way resolving some of the intermittent issues I am having. Amazing.
My rig sometimes will crash (Kernel-power event, no idea wtf is wrong, maybe a flaky mobo, PSU, who knows). But sometimes it's not coming back up again. Could very well be that it's stuck in the Windows Auto Repair screen and I'm not seeing it because the rig is stored remotely and I can't access it.
I'll set the boot status policy. Many thanks.
Hi, My rig have that problem too , checking events i have Kernel-power event. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Every 3 days or so (random) but autorestarts and worked good until today. This time go to automatic repair, so i open that thread to get helped. I will include the sugested boot status policy changes and will report ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) @dragonmike how you know what is the problem if you are remotely, have an remotely socket to restart the rig too? and start by an automated process..and you never see the problem ? ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif)

I've tested it, which is why I recommended it.
How did I test? Well...
I just turned the PSU off while windows was running then again. I'd get the recovery screen. I ran the commands, rebooted. Tested again the same way, no recovery.
Cooll ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Start a command prompt window as administrator, run the following two commands. Restart.
You have to restart. This will prevent windows from doing what it did for you after a crash.
bcdedit /set {current} bootstatuspolicy ignoreallfailures bcdedit /set {default} bootstatuspolicy ignoreallfailures
thanks i need it too ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) Thanks for the tip, Have you tested ? nope, but i will do tomorrow Ok, ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) the problem is now how to put in the previous state of failure ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) You know how to put it in automatic repair and include the changes to se if result? ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) power on , shutdown suddenly and repeat? hehe You have to press (hold) SHIFT and restart the pc from start menu -restart. Hmm nice, it isnt for safe mode ? Can test the automatic repair too? Will try when come home ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif)

Hi All, I've been working on a simple GUI wrapper around the miner to monitor it in a more user-friendly way and to restart the miner automatically if the hashrate drops below a specified amount. I'm sure there's lots of bugs (very little validation in the GUI), but it might be useful for some of you. https://github.com/anadventureisu/cast-xmr-ui![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FwpSvkSL.png&t=663&c=LrRi22WWBLhB5g) Looks good! ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) Hi do you have the executable? Today i got unauthenticated by the pool, and xmr send a lot of rejected shares Could GUI this avoid that? Any parameter that can i put in the native cast_xmr_vega too avoid this too? Regards

IS anyone getting the issue where the miner just stops hashing? It just hangs but not frozen
Did you try the latest? It happened to me with 0.8.1, I'm trying now 0.8.5 and it hasn't happened yet but who knows, I'll have to wait a few more days. When it happens if I press 'q' to exit it tries to shutdown but it hangs there and I have to kill it. where you find this version?? i only find the oficial 0.8.0 there is 0.8.5 out, google is your friend. I checked now, But this is the official topic, should be updated to...

Is it possible to delete the AMD settings program if you use that? (To avoid it going back for default settings)
If restarts from kernel power errors or overclocked failure right? It was a good ideia, or if wattman can startup the profile we choose on restart like afterburner, right? Im interested too ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

I tried Overdriven but my fans wasnt controlled properly, so use afterburner with drivers 18.1.1, works perfect but only with 2 gpus. In my rig had the bugs i tell you, but i will test your sugestions ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Regards

hi Folks,
Just installed the 18.1.1 new adrenaline drivers and enable compute mode but, --forcecompute doesnt work in xmrvega,
Anyone had tried?
Anyone tried? ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) its possible to mine all Cryptonight/CryptoNote algorithm like graft coin for example in xmr vega? XMR Cast is the name - yes it can be used on all Cryptonight coins like ETN, Sumo, Monero etc Thanks for help, And my --forcecompute question anyideia? How can i see the help in cmd? ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Another question, i got this error if i use xmrvega to mine graft: [03:05:27] Connecting to Pool failed. Retrying in 20 secs ... [03:05:47] Connecting to pool.graftpool.online:7777 ... [03:05:47] Connected to pool. [03:05:47] SOCKET ERROR - No login/password specified [03:05:47] SOCKET ERROR - RECEIVE error: Uma operaþÒo de bloqueio foi interrompida por uma chamada a WSACancelBlockingCall. [03:05:47] Connecting to Pool failed. Retrying in 20 secs ... The pool doesn t requires pass, so what i should pass or if im wrong, how can i pass it? (just add -p x - and worked ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) ) so i need to go to helppp. help to go help xD In claymore 11.2 work without password. (i checked the -xpsw x there) ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Thanks people yes I tried the 18.1.1. drivers 2 days ago I have a 6 gpu rig althought all six showed up in wattman I could only turn on 4 of the 6 graphics to compute switches and when I ran it in xmrcast I got the blockchain not detected so I gave up after that and went back to the aug-1029 drivers but the reason I was trying it was because my cast xmr keeps crashing I tore my whole rig down and rebuild it but still could not get it to work so I am using stak-amd at the moment while I wait for parts to throw at it to try and fix it, I suspect I am running out of memory. now the xmr-cast has treated me well the last month and half with 3-4 day runs without a crash but something happened and cant figure it out. I was using -- fastswitching and -- forcecompute and it seemed to work but could not tell you why or how and for that socket error I could not get cast to work without a --opencl 2 5 command in there but again could not say how or why it worked I just kept throwing numbers in there till it worked. now the --help command I have never seen it or been able to get it to work a saw a mention of a whitepaper on the fourms here but have not seen it or know where it is but have not looked for it yet . Hi, Can you give me the syntax for the compute option?? I put cast_xmr-vega --forcecompute --fastjobswitch etc... but doens t work... Thanks
